these figures the devil commands self harm whereas the other 2 figures command well being.
During interactions with Mrs A, she appears pre occupied with these figures and is seen whispering to

parables Jesus told during his earthly ministry. On the surface, it may be hard to determine just what
Jesus is saying about the Kingdom of God. By considering the deeper meanings of parables, however,
it is possible to see exactly what the parables reveal about the Kingdom of God and what
hermeneutical implications that has for our lives.
To discover what the parables say about the Kingdom of God, they must first be interpreted. Jesus
himself can be found saying that parables contain mysteries on the inside. Sometimes, however,
finding the deeper meaning for a parable can be tricky. To make the task of interpreting parables
easier, it helps to find out Jesus audience. Jesus did not intend for us to be unable to understand his
parables. Rather, he fully intended for them to shed light on the Kingdom of God, sometimes we just
need to dig a little deeper with an open heart and open eyes.
After interpreting the parables that deal with the Kingdom of God, it is possible to determine some
characteristics of the Kingdom of God. With Jesus arrival, he brought with him the Kingdom, hence
the reason he is explaining it to people via parables. While Jesus already brought the Kingdom of God,
it is also not here yet. God s kingdom reconciliation has begun on this earth but will not be completed
until Jesus comes again to finish it completely. Jesus first coming was the beginning of the end for the

Particularly exciting was the hair raising fourth movement of the symphony, in which the conductor
came to life, jumping while conducting and giving sweeping, emotional cues to the orchestra. When
the first theme from the sonata form movement began in the strings, it seemed as if it would be
another peaceful movement. However, when the tutti played the theme with a sforzando volume, the
entire audience was reengaged. The orchestra executed with elite technical precision, with all strings
bows in sync. As with the rest of the concert, the group did a nice job contrasting loud, tutti sections
with minor, modulated solos, especially in the flute and clarinet. Even in a hall as cavernous as
Woolsey, the orchestra did a superb job with crisp pizzicato and staccato cutoffs. The only flaw in the
rendition of Brahms symphony was extreme dynamics: the trombones played with such vigor that
their sound began to spread, perpetuating the intonation problems the orchestra had throughout the
concert. Overall, the Yale Symphony Orchestra delivered an exquisite performance, riddled only by

My experience watching a feature length silent film was very interesting, to say the least. I found it
amazing that they were able to tell a complete story on only visual elements. Nosferatu had many
similarities to A trip to the Moon by George Melies. Comparatively it had more storytelling elements
character development purely due to film length. I feel it would be very challenging to produce such a
complex story under the constraints of such a short film. I believe my experience to be very typical of
someone who has never watched a full length silent film, I was gripped with curiosity on how this film
would tell the great story of Dracula without the stereotypical screams and jump scares that horror
movies today bring to the screen. I feel like the film did a fantastic job of telling the story with the
limitations of being able to use sound. I will be very interested in watching another full length silent
film from that era to see the difference in writing and filming styles. I would also be interested in re
watching Nosferatu during the night time to see if that elevates the experience of watching a horror in

When the first theme from the sonata form movement began in the strings, it seemed as if it would be another peaceful movement. However, when the tutti played the theme with a sforzando volume, the entire audience was reengaged. The orchestra executed with elite technical precision, with all strings bows in sync. As with the rest of the concert, the group did a nice job contrasting loud, tutti sections with minor, modulated solos, especially in the flute and clarinet. Even in a hall as cavernous as Woolsey, the orchestra did a superb job with crisp pizzicato and staccato cutoffs. The only flaw in the rendition of Brahms symphony was extreme dynamics: the trombones played with such vigor that their sound began to spread, perpetuating the intonation problems the orchestra had throughout the concert. I believe my experience to be very typical of someone who has never watched a full length silent film, I was gripped with curiosity on how this film would tell the great story of Dracula without the stereotypical screams and jump scares that horror movies today bring to the screen.
