1. How Effective is the combination of the main product and ancillary texts ? The combination of my main product and ancillary texts are really strong and are instantly recognisable that they are connected. The main links that stand out between my ancillary texts and main products are the constant use of the colours red and black. These were the two colours I wanted to go for because they have a strong contrast, and when used together, they really stand out. It also represents a dark, but rave theme feel about it. There is also a strong correlation between the use of the masks on the digi packs and the advert. This is to maintain continuity with all my products to create a branded identity which creates a signature for each of my products, so it makes it instantly recognisable to the audience and make it clear that they are all linked and related. The brand identity promotes the band, and gives a strong identification. This originality shows the audience what the main stylistic features are which makes it a good marketing strategy.
