Elizabethan Er The Era Of Beauty And Fascination
Elizabethan Era Clothing
The Elizabethan era was an extraordinarily fashion era for both man and women, a time when
everything was changing from the fifteenth century simple dress to extravagant and dramatic styles
which we call Elizabethan fashion. At that time, new styles, modern yet unique fabrics, charm colors,
sharp design and glamor silhouette were evolving. Every layer and piece of Elizabethan outfit was
equally important, from the fancy dress to the smallest details. Definitely, the Elizabethan era was the
time of beauty and fascination. In fact, during the Elizabethan time clothing reflects mood, values and
the person s statue in the society. So fashion at that time was the primary indicator of one s social
statue and the differences in styling between upper class and lower class were noticeable and very
easy distinguished, in terms of fabric, colors, and design.
During the Elizabethan time period, in order to understand a person s life style including clothes, we
must first understand how the society at that time worked. The Elizabethan society was divided into
three classes, first upper class including nobles and royalty, second middle class or hard working class,
and finally lower class or peasants. The availability of fabrics, colors, and designs were extremely
limited for lower class compared to upper class who has unlimited access to a variety of expansive
fabrics and colors. These divisions in clothing were stated in the Sumptuary Laws or also known as

The Theme Of Coming Of Age In F. Scott Fitzgerald s This...
In his novel This Side of Paradise (1920), F. Scott Fitzgerald presents a powerful and compelling
portrait of a young man coming of age during the First World War and its immediate aftermath. Taking
its title from the poem Taire Tahiti by Rupert Brooke, which itself is a meditation upon the gap
between ideal forms of heavenly love and real forms of earthly love, This Side of Paradise focuses on
how the expectations of the novel s protagonist for himself and for his society do not often match up
with the possibilities available to him from his surrounding environment. Ultimately, the novel
presents an image of the decline of nineteenth century modernity during the crucial transition period
between the two World Wars and the massive changes such decline wreaked at the time upon the
relationship between romantic love and personal wealth. Nowhere does the tension between romantic
love and personal wealth show up more clearly over the course of the novel than it does in the
relationship developed between the protagonist Amory Blaine and the socialite Rosalind Connage.
Having returning from service abroad in the First World War, ... Show more content on

Just as Amory desires that Rosalind love him for who he is and see him as a personal peer despite their

Europe as a political peer despite their mismatch in political power and cultural legitimacy. However,
just as Rosalind rejects the youthful idealism of Amory in favor of the established safety of her
newfound fiancé, so too does the novel suggest that the European establishment is unwilling to make
room for the youthful idealism of America on the global

I Am A White, Natural Born Citizen Of The United States
Ethnic Heritage Term Paper I am a white, natural born citizen of the United States, but my family is
made up of a mix of immigrants. My paternal grandmother immigrated to the United States from Sao
Miguel, Portugal. My paternal grandfather s ancestors immigrated from England and Scotland to
Canada. Some of my mother s paternal ancestors immigrated from Spain to France before immigrating
to Canada, and others were Aboriginal Canadians. Three out of my four grandparents have roots in
Quebec, Canada. French Canadian is not a nationality that I identify with, but it is the culture that has
impacted my life the most, outside of American culture.
Out of my six Quebecois great grandparents only my maternal great grandmother is known to be of an
aboriginal background. All of my other great grandparents immigrated to or colonized Canada. There
is little known about my great grandmother s history, except that she moved to North Adams,
Massachusetts from Quebec and married my great grandfather in her early teens.
The first nations of Canada, prior to the landing of Europeans, were divided into six major
geographical groups. My great grandmother s ancestors most likely belonged to the Iroquoian first
nations. The Iroquois people were not nomadic and had a complex system of democratic government.
They are known for the impressive construction of longhouses and their system of farming corn,
beans, and squash. Running was the most popular form of transportation to the Iroquois people

What Is Jane Austen Definition Of Nobility
There are many definitions of noble, from a gold coin to something of magnificent size. There are two
definitions that are particularly similar in the ways people view each other. The first is a hereditary
class of high social status and the second is showing fine personal qualities. In Jane Austen s Pride and
Prejudice, Austen believes that nobility should be defined through the latter definition. Jane Austen
believes that social rank should be determined by one s nobility, meaning their personal qualities
rather that their hereditary class and proves this through the way the characters act, view each other,
and view themselves. Austen believes that rank should not be determined by hereditary class and
demonstrates this through the characters ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Mr. Bingley was unaffectedly civil in his answer, and forced his younger sister to be civil also, and say
what the occasion required (Austen 41). Mr. Bingley was able to be noble and polite and realize his
place even when he was in a difficult situation which shows that he views himself with respect even if
other people do not. Mr. Darcy says that women that can do simple tasks that they all can do are not
considered accomplished, and continues to say that he has not met more than six women who he
would believe are accomplished (Austen 35). This proves that women view themselves as
accomplished and view other women like themselves as accomplished despite other people s harsh
opinions which shows their nobleness. Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet for the second time
but immediately thinks he does not deserve her and her feelings are the same as the first time he asked
her (Austen 346). Mr Darcy shows that he does not view himself as worthy enough of Elizabeth
because he was rude to her family and not a noble

history and perhaps the most important in Dutch history of all.Rembrandt painted Alchemist workshop
in 1606.this is the provenance of the painting, the interpretations have been wide ranging from
alchemist to religious interpretations. A private space for both particle and spiritual work. Rembrandt
used the oil painting show a man sitting in shadows near a window; on the far right is another men at
the fire. The dark border of the image that surrounds the soft golden glow of the room not only
emphasizes the alchemists stillness. Rembrandt s color is apparent in his unique choice and blend of
hues, in the intricate details of the stone frame on the small door behind the man, and in the graceful
curve of the stairs.one side of the helix is kept light in the painting, while the other side is kept
dark.Rembrandt made a complex layers, building up a image from the back to the front with delicate
glazes that allowed light actually to fill his backgrounds and reflect off the white under painting, and
generously applied body colors which mimicked the effect of solid bodies in space.
The curved surface shape is repeated throughout the composition.A black circle, making out the edge
of the painting, and a black point within this circle. This point within the circle is a very well known
symbol for esotericists al chemistry and metaphysics. After this point within the circle has been seen
the next what comes in view is a helix spiral line in the middle of the painting. More primal than being
spiral in shape is the given that the line separates the circle into two parts. Such a separated circle
symbolizes in esotericism . A circle stands for unity and when that unity is divided duality is
symbolized. And the most primal duality presented in esotericism is that of spirit and matter.
The spiral staircase that divides the room, the old man in front of a window and the man at the fire.
The size of the room is the fireplace seems very large, the arched roof and window, thick stone walls
and small arched door all point to a small place in a rather grand house, not to mention the spectacular
spiral staircase. The man, who is clearly the subject of the painting is resting comfortably while the
woman at the fire seems

This Research Paper Is Talking About The High Deductible
This research paper is talking about the high deductible plans in the U.S and why it is growing in
popularity. The trend of the HDHP began before the passing of the Affordable Care Plan. One of the
reasons for this increase was believed to be the saving options that the HDHP offers to drive more
consumers. The number of employers that offered the HDHP went up very fast. Some researchers say
that the HDHP saves enrollees money, but it reduces preventative care. Other studies showed that
when individuals shifted from the low deductible health plan toward HDHP, the health care spending
dropped. The HDHP has more benefits to the young, healthy individuals than to the elderly sick
individuals. The question is why the HDHP is growing in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 2015, HDHP covered 24% of the workers in the employers that offer it, up from just 4% in 2006
(Kaiser/HRET, 2015). The increase in the number of the HDHP enrollees didn t only occur in an
employment based market, but also in an individual based market due to high deductibles. In fact, 90
percent of the individuals covered by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace pay higher
deductible than the deductibles of the HDHP (Health Affairs, 2016). One of the reasons for this
increase is the saving options that the HDHP offer to drive more consumers. The consumers will face
high health care prices and this will make them think about whether deciding to look for care or not.
As a result, this will reduce health care spending. A study showed that when individuals shifted from
the low deductible health plan toward HDHP, their health spending dropped by 14% (RAND, 2011).
Some researchers say that it s true that HDHP save money and cut health spending, but at the same
time it reduces preventative care (RAND, 2011). Individuals who are young and healthy and are
covered by the HDHP will avoid checking for their children immunizations, mammograms, or any
other screening unless in case of emergency. This, in turn, will cause more issues regarding health
later on. The HDHP has benefits to a young, healthy individual who doesn t need to

Methods Of Using Data Relationships And Computer Models
Analytics is the process of using data relationships and computer models to drive business value,
improve decision making and understand human relationships. If the Information Age began in the
1990s with the rise of digital technology, then we ve now officially entered the Age of Big Data,
wherein companies like Google, Facebook, IBM, Teradata, Oracle, and SAS have the capacity to
gather a lifetime s worth of data about customers and their behavior. But that data is just an
incomprehensible pile of numbers until a skilled analyst turns those numbers into meaningful
information, useful for making intelligent business decisions. Today, companies are searching for
experts in data analytics who have high formed business and technology backgrounds, and who
understand the importance of the latest data and Information Age trends. This requires more than
simple data analysis. Prescriptive analytics focuses on trends using simulation and optimization, while
predictive analytics uses statistical tools to predict the future, and descriptive analytics is concerned
with enabling smart decisions based on data. Data miners and data analytics experts who are versatile
in all three areas of analytics can help corporate executives translate their data into intelligent
information, which provides companies a competitive advantage and increases their bottom lines.
Analytics have made their presence felt in every industry, but they have a major role to play in the
sports industry and many teams

The world is ever changing and has been that way even before humans dominated Earth. However,
what we are interested in for this topic is in the last few decades where globalization has had an
impact in the early 21st century, making the world flat . The phrase that the world has become flat is a
metaphor for viewing the world level in terms of commerce and competition, meaning a level playing
field where everyone has an equal opportunity. However, opinions are divided on how much
globalization has actually impacted the world as a whole. Critics argue that Friedman s term flat is
grossly exaggerated as his view is from an American perspective. This paper investigates major
arguments for both sides.

Investigating The Relationship Between Motor Neurons And...
The purpose of this lab is to evaluate the relationship between motor neurons and their associated
muscle s electrical activity via neuromuscular junctions through: determining the correlation between
EMG (electromyogram) activity and muscle force, observing muscle fatigue, as well as calculating the
conduction velocity associated with the Achilles tendon reflex arc. An additional purpose of this lab is
to demonstrate the effects of arm circumference and relative dominance on muscle fatigue.
Hypothesis In the first experiment, as muscle force increases as induced by the subject, it is expected
that the EMG activity will elevate likewise due to the directly proportional relationship between
contraction strength and the muscle s amount of electrical impulses. Additionally, it is expected that
resistance to fatigue will increase with greater forearm circumference due to the greater amount of
fatigue resistant slow oxidative fibers. In the third section of this lab, it is anticipated that as path
length of a particular reflex arc (in this case, the Achilles tendon reflex) increases, the overall
conduction velocity will decrease due to the increased reflex time necessary for the impulse to be
conducted up and down longer neurons.
Background For all aspects of this lab to be properly understood, the following principles and
associated information of the following must be known: the relationship between nerves and their
associated muscle(s), how electrical activity is

The Beatles are one of the most recognizable names in the music industry. Anyone can easily
recognize songs that have been performed by The Beatles. The band s popularity hasn t always been

Record executive, to make one of the most regrettable decisions of his life. To really look at whether

time period during which he made his decision and to look at who The Beatles were at that time, more
specifically January 1, 1962. When looking at Dick Rowe and why he made the decision he made, it s

Lisfranc Fracture-Dislocation Case Study
The Lisfranc fracture dislocation is characterised as an injury of the tarsometatarsal joints of the foot.
This region of the foot is prone to injury due to the lack of ligaments separating the bases of the first
and second metatarsals (Bontrager Lampignano, 2010). The Lisfranc joint articulates between the
cuneiforms and cuboid of the foot, along with the distal end of metatarsals, and separates the forefoot
from the midfoot. The joint can be seen from three different views in Figure 1 of the appendix (Kalia,
Fishman, Carrino, Fayad, 2011). The clinical indications of a Lisfranc fracture dislocation include
oedema and tenderness in the area of the midfoot. The injury is usually caused by the foot being
overly plantar flexed, and is often associated with vehicular accidents and sporting injuries (Scolaro,
Ahn Mehta, 2011).
According to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If the separation between the base of the first and second metatarsals is less than two millimetres, the
recommended treatment is to cast and immobilise the foot until healed. However, the most common
form of treatment is surgical and known as open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF). In Figure 4, a
radiographic image shows how a surgical screw has been positioned to stabilise and internally fixate
the Lisfranc fracture dislocation (Southerland, Boberg, Downey, Nakra Rabjohn, 2012).
It has been suggested by Scolaro (2011) et al. that if the Lisfranc fracture dislocation is greater than
two millimetres long term complications such as arthritis and damage to surrounding ligaments can
occur. However, the likelihood of obtaining posttraumatic arthritis is decreased dramatically if ORIF
surgery is performed soon after initial injury. If the Lisfranc fracture was a result of an athletic injury,
pain and instability of the foot can occur and arthrodesis may be necessary for long term treatment

Final sleep is certainly one interpretation of the long sleep that the poet contrasts with human sleep.
The sleep of the woodchuck is the sleep of winter, and winter, in the metaphoric language of seasons,
has strong associations with death. He is done with apple picking , suggests finality; a sudden
unpleasant realisation that he has not grasped all that he set out to achieve. Subsequently, Frost wants
individuals to evaluate their life and discover their dreams and meaning in their life.
Childhood is a time for making new discoveries, but it is also a time that can lend itself to tragedy. The

The word myth is used most popularly in tales and stories. These tales and stories have been passed

What is the relationship between belief, knowledge, mythology, and religion? Where do mythology
and religion intersect? Where do they diverge? Think about the function of myth and religion in
helping human beings cope with change, suffering, loss, and death.
The very first thing I am able to think of with this is the Bible. It encompasses everything that has
been asked. As far as humans being able to cope, it is said in the Bible that I can do all things through
God who strengthens me. Even with this example, one can assume that there is literally nothing that
cannot be done, as long as God is on your side. The Bible also encompasses suffering, loss and death
just through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Having said that, its what happens after that that can be
tied directly to mythology. He is resurrected from the dead ascends into Heaven, thus creating that
idea that one is capable of immortality, even if you have died. Where this diverges is that unlike Greek
mythology, most people who identify themselves as
Christians will not recognize the Bible as one of the greatest stories of mythology, ever.
How would you defend mythology s relevance in contemporary culture? Think about familial and
cultural traditions. Also, consider how mythology is used in the

Leon Trotsky s Contribution to the Success of the Bolsheviks Up To 1922
In this essay I will explain Leon Trotsky s contribution to the success of the Bolsheviks. I will
consider a number of reasons including his organisation of the revolution, his actions on the 6th 8th
November 1917, public speaking, The Red Army civil war, and the Kronstadt uprising. I will finish
with a clear, concise, conclusion.
Leon Trotsky was born in 1879 in a remote part of southern Ukraine. He was the son of a Jewish
farmer and was educated ant Odessa University. He became very interested in the writings of Karl
Marx, as a result he spent long times in exile. Trotsky was a first a Menshevik and did not join the ...

On the evening of 6th November 1917, Trotsky went to the Peter and Paul Fortress, this housed the
majority of Russian arms, it is located on an island in the middle of the river Neva in Petrograd, he
bribed the troops guarding the fortress and his troops were given access to powerful munitions. Later
that night the Revolution began. The primary objectives were to take command of railway stations,
post offices, telephone centres, banks, bridges, and the Engineers Palace (the military headquarters).
This objective continued into the morning of the 7th, and on the evening of the 7th November 1917
Trotsky and his Red Guard stormed the Winter Palace and arrested the ministers of the provisional
government. On the 8th November, an announcement was made that the provisional government had
been overthrown. This helped the Bolsheviks because the organisation skills Trotsky supplied meant
the Bolsheviks had support and weapons, if it hadn t been for him, the Bolsheviks may never have
overthrown the government. It also meant everything was perfectly set up for the Revolution
Trotsky was a skilled public speaker who managed to inspire his listeners to support him and his party.
His speeches were inspirational to everyone who listened and it made many change their ideas about
how Russia should be governed. He made his speeches with skill and brilliance . An eyewitness to

Essay On The Devil In The White City
In 1893, Chicago had the pleasure of hosting the World s Fair to celebrate the 400th anniversary of
Christopher Columbus s arrival in the New World in 1492. In the novel The Devil In The White City ,
written by Erik Larson, tells the story of two different men who had an impact on the World s Fair.
Both men impacted the reputation of the fair and of Chicago with their actions and accomplishments.
The reputation of America was tarnished during the previous World s Fair that was held in Paris,
France. This was accomplished by the Eiffel Tower and all of its glory. As Erik Larson explains
himself, not only did its magnitude show how skilled France s architects can be, but also offered
graphic proof that France had edged out the United ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As Chauncey Depew says, Chicago is like the man who marries a woman with a ready made family of
twelve; the trouble [has] just begun. (Larson 34). Burnham, along with Chicago, was unaware of the
trouble that would be caused during and after the making of the fair, and Holmes was a man who
benefitted from the miraculous beauty that Burnham and his fellow architects were able to show to the
world. H.H. Holmes was able to become, as Lauren Barrow says, [t]he most innovative and
calculating killer of his time. Holmes single handedly changed the way that people look at others, and
at Chicago.
Holmes Murder Castle was the innovative creation that allowed him to lure in unexpecting visitors to
the fair. It consisted of: endless hallways, a windowless third floor, a torture chamber along with a
dissecting room in the basement, and so many other ruthless creations. H.H. Holmes Murder Castle is
known to be a reflection of his own distorted mind. Which in fact it was given the extensive thought
and trouble he went through to make it a reality. While he confessed to 27 murders, Holmes was only
linked to nine of them. However, it is said that he is responsible for as many as 200 murders. I could
not help the fact that I was a murderer... The inclination to murder came to me as naturally as the
inspiration to do right comes to the majority of persons. (Bio staff).
On the other side of this novel, Burnham and his partners are known for the building of the fair. He

Sketch Of Anne And Her Nurse By Mary Cassatt
Sketch of Anne and Her Nurse by Mary Cassatt is an impressionism style artwork. It is an oil and
canvas painting, done in 1897. This artwork is currently on display at the Portland Museum of Art
(Portland Museum of Art, 2017). Impressionism is a 19th century artistic movement founded in Paris
by a few artists. Mary Cassatt spent most of her adulthood in France and was one of the known artists
in the Impressionist movement. Impressionists faced criticism at first, as it was considered a radical
departure from tradition. They were looked down upon and rejected by academic institutions, which
had great power over the careers of artists. Despite the criticism they received, they were not

Mary Cassatt graduated high school in 1861 at the age of seventeen. Drawing was her passion, with a
failed attempted to convince her father to send her to Europe to study art; she started her studies in art
at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Her father had hopes that once she finished her studies, she
would settle down getting married and start a family of her own. Cassatt completed her four years of
study at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1865; during that time period it was unheard of for
a young woman to become a professional artist, in this male dominant filed (Witkoski, 2016). Cassatt
was a very modern thinking woman for her time and after her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of
Fine Arts, she successfully convinced her father that she needed to learn more in Europe (Stafford

Cassatt was one of the most respected American art students in France by 1868, but the Franco
Prussian War forced her to return to the America. Being back in the America she struggled to fine
proper art supplies, models or a studio, an opportunity to return to Europe arose by a chance meeting
with the Catholic Bishop of Pittsburgh. She traveled to in Italy in 1871, as she was commissioned to

U.s. Navy After Spending Over $ 13 Billion
This case deals with the recently cancelled project that was sponsored by the U.S Navy after spending
over $13 billion in research and development. U.S congress announced to cancel the missile destroyer
(Z class warship) after completing the construction of two ships. This decision was taken due to this
project is highly controversial, high cost of construction, and poor scope management. Having a third
party to overlook the project could have prevented this from being an expensive failure.
This report will explain what went wrong at the very beginning of this project and what step(s) could

The Zumwalt class destroyer design included a tumblehome hull, which is an inverted bow. The
tumblehome hull had two big benefits. First being that is cut through the waves instead of riding them.
Secondly and most importantly the design This technology included the use of composite radar
absorbing materials and a unique hull reducing the ability to be detected by opposing radars, which
has been stated to reduce the radar cross section (RCS) by returning much less energy than a
conventional flare hull form. The U.S. Naval Institute stated the original design of the ship would have
had a much smaller RCS, but cost considerations prompted the Navy over the last several years to
make the trades in increasing RCS to save money...
The first ship built was named Zumwalt for Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, and is identified with DDG 1000
. The original plan was to have 32 ships built with a $9.6 billion cost for research and development for
the Zumwalt class. As the project ran on the cost of the project started to rise exponentially and was
reduced to 24, then to 7, and finally to 3. Which increased the cost per ship to $3.96 billion

Flaws Of The Intellectualist Theory
In the modern era, it is impossible to deny that science and technology have become powerful,
defining forces within contemporary society. Recent technological advances have vastly improved
living standards, and faith in scientific research has provided rational, empirical explanations for the
previously unexplainable. However, it is simultaneously impossible to deny the equal importance of
both religion and magic upon the foundations of human culture.
Yet, as human society has evolved and progressed over the centuries, how has the human relationship
to magic and religion changed? Has faith in the supernatural, or inanimate forces, been replaced by a
faith in technology?
Around the beginning of the twentieth century, several anthropological ... Show more content on

Tylor failed to account for the specific processes and mechanisms by which cultural evolution took
place, and neglected to address why magic and religion continue to survive if there is not a specific,
cultural purpose for their existence. Malinowski, on the other hand, failed to account for the
destabilization of societal functions in the presence of evolutionary forces.
Both schools, however, are equally integral to the recognition that science, magic, and religion are
important facets of human society and development, and provide needed explanations for human
existence and the occurrence of worldly events. Though science and technology have become
important factors in human evolution, it is arguable that magic and religion will continue to remain an
integral part of human lives despite the advances of science for humans will always be looking for

Fear Of Death In Socrates Apology
Death is the destruction or permanent end of something such as life. Many people fear death more
than dying itself. In Apology, Socrates argued that the good person need not fear death . Death is a
state of nothingness as per Socrates. He stated clearly that death is an undisturbed sleep . Living a
good life does not mean long life or wealth; it simply means living an exemplary life, or a fulfilled life
just as Jesus Christ and Socrates. Jesus in His short life on earth lived his mission sent life of saving
people and restoring lives without fear of death. While Socrates lived a fulfilled life of a well known

Our Founding Fathers Effect on the Past, Present, and...
In the beginning, the nation s Founders were profoundly skeptical of direct democracy. They believed
that the follies of direct democracy far outweighed any virtues it might possess (Politics in American
pg. 76). According to an essay by Rose Wilder Lane (Lane, 1943), George Washington, Thomas
Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, James Madison, and James Monroe feared democracy.
The founders believed that the Constitution left all other governmental powers to the states (Politics in
American 2009 pg. 133). Our Founding Fathers never intended for America to become a democracy.
Most of them had served in the American Revolution, either as soldiers in the Continental Army or as
part of a legislative body. After the Revolutionary ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Essentially, the new constitution was written to protect the people from a democracy. The Founding
Fathers had learned from the past that a democracy was a form of lawless mob rule. They saw that the
ancient Greeks tried a true democracy that had failed and led to chaos. A true democracy would not
run efficiently or properly. The Founding Fathers saw our Government as a Republic (McManus
2001). They were realists who believed in limited government and low taxes. Their ideal was to build
a unique structure of government to put into action their beliefs in nationalism, limited government,
and separation of powers with check and balances, and judicial reviews. The Founding Fathers wanted
to generate a strong government while ensuring that the government would not become a threat to
liberty or property. It was also decided that the legislative branch should consist of two houses. So a
new constitution was drawn up and once ratified, the process of organizing a new government began.
On September 13, 1788, Congress determined that the city of New York should be the seat of the new
government. The capital was moved Philadelphia in 1790 and to Washington D.C. in the year 1800
where it remains today (Lawler 2010). The process for the creation of the new government continued
when George Washington was unanimously elected the first president, and John Adams of
Massachusetts, the vice president. Adams

Looking at more numbers, it becomes clear that companies need to find a better way to cut down on
the costs associated with the traditional hiring process. To save some money in the process of hiring,
every company need to follow some key ways like develop the employee referral program, turn their
career site into a talent community and mash able job board listings. Here are the few reasons for
hiring a good and dedicated team: Facilitates better communication. Motivates employees. Promotes
creativity. Develops problem solving skills. Breaks the barrier. 2. Required resources: Most of the
companies are eager to engage in testing, but if they don t have their proper resources which is one of
the fastest ways to see the program to fail. Even though the team have some good ideas, they cannot
rectify the errors and execute them without the proper required resources. So, maintain the required
resources which are needed to test or complete the project. 3. Prioritize the errors: In every project,
during the analysis or development phase there are some defects. To save the time and money, first list
out the highest priority defects because when the team resolve the prioritized errors most of the errors
are resolved and the output will be good. 4. Documentation: Every project needs documentation.
Proper documentation is the only key thing that can make it possible and makes testing more accurate

Theme Of No Man Is An Island
No Man is an Island We are all a part of the main
No person is truly isolated from the rest of the world. Nonetheless, people feel lonely or purposeless in
life. In No Man Is an Island by John Donne, he claims that no person is an island of their own. Donne
talks about humanity, unity, and mortality, which originate from his illness, and the recent death of his
wife for whom the bell tolls. (12) Through the use of an extended earth metaphor, symbols, and shift
in tone, Donne conveys the importance of humankind and life. (Mention something about his
deceased wife, and him being terminally ill)
Donne starts off this poem with an extended earth metaphor. No man is an island, entire of itself; (1).
This line is used to open the poem with a strong statement. This line helps begin the extended by
stating that no individual is completely isolated. Donne continues this into next lines, every man is a
piece of the continent, a part of the main (2 3), to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This weighed on his mind and was the cause of inspiration for this poem. Donne believed that
everyone matters; whether you were rich or poor. No matter what class you were sectioned into, you
had an effect on the rest of the people around you. In this poem, Donne is able to convey his belief
that everyone matters, no matter how insignificant they seem, with the help of an extended earth
metaphor, symbols, and shift in tone. He uses an extended metaphor where he compares the different
groups of people to earthy symbols, and as he continues through the sections, he writes more
individually. This shift in tone helps the audience feel more connected to the words because Donne is
speaking in first person, making it more personal. This personal message is absorbed by the reader
through the help of symbols, which make it easier for the reader to connect and relate to the mean of
the poem. Everyone has a purpose and makes an

The Importance Of Weather In Literature
Angelina Blackwell
AP Literature and Composition
Mrs. Smith
9/20/17
Weather can influence many things in literature. It can influence the mood, plot, characters, setting.
Foster makes it very clear to us that an author will never put weather into a story with no reasoning
behind it. Weather is not just simply a setting in literature.
The author begins the chapter It s More Than Just Rain or Snow by explaining what mood the quote It
was a dark and stormy night creates. He explains how weather is never placed in a story for no reason.
Weather is a factor used to create a mood in the passage. A sunny day with no clouds in sight... will
create a happy mood while the reader could be imagining themselves in the story being outside on a
beautiful clear day with the sunshine hitting them just right. That could put anyone in a cheerful mood,
right? If the author started a story with The rain was beating down on the roof as I realized it had been
my first night without him... . Now obviously if the character had just lost someone they would be sad
but adding rain to the scene adds the effect of sadness and allows the reader jump in the book to feel
what the character is feeling.
When meeting characters in the beginning of novels, the author can add how they perceive weather to
let the readers get a feel for how observing they are. If the character pays no mind to the weather the
reader may see that had acted as ignorant.
Chapter 10 elaborates on how weather can

  • 2. Elizabethan Er The Era Of Beauty And Fascination Elizabethan Era Clothing The Elizabethan era was an extraordinarily fashion era for both man and women, a time when everything was changing from the fifteenth century simple dress to extravagant and dramatic styles which we call Elizabethan fashion. At that time, new styles, modern yet unique fabrics, charm colors, sharp design and glamor silhouette were evolving. Every layer and piece of Elizabethan outfit was equally important, from the fancy dress to the smallest details. Definitely, the Elizabethan era was the time of beauty and fascination. In fact, during the Elizabethan time clothing reflects mood, values and the person s statue in the society. So fashion at that time was the primary indicator of one s social statue and the differences in styling between upper class and lower class were noticeable and very easy distinguished, in terms of fabric, colors, and design. During the Elizabethan time period, in order to understand a person s life style including clothes, we must first understand how the society at that time worked. The Elizabethan society was divided into three classes, first upper class including nobles and royalty, second middle class or hard working class, and finally lower class or peasants. The availability of fabrics, colors, and designs were extremely limited for lower class compared to upper class who has unlimited access to a variety of expansive fabrics and colors. These divisions in clothing were stated in the Sumptuary Laws or also known as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. The Theme Of Coming Of Age In F. Scott Fitzgerald s This... In his novel This Side of Paradise (1920), F. Scott Fitzgerald presents a powerful and compelling portrait of a young man coming of age during the First World War and its immediate aftermath. Taking its title from the poem Taire Tahiti by Rupert Brooke, which itself is a meditation upon the gap between ideal forms of heavenly love and real forms of earthly love, This Side of Paradise focuses on how the expectations of the novel s protagonist for himself and for his society do not often match up with the possibilities available to him from his surrounding environment. Ultimately, the novel presents an image of the decline of nineteenth century modernity during the crucial transition period between the two World Wars and the massive changes such decline wreaked at the time upon the relationship between romantic love and personal wealth. Nowhere does the tension between romantic love and personal wealth show up more clearly over the course of the novel than it does in the relationship developed between the protagonist Amory Blaine and the socialite Rosalind Connage. Having returning from service abroad in the First World War, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Just as Amory desires that Rosalind love him for who he is and see him as a personal peer despite their mismatch in wealth and family ties, so too does the novel suggest that America wishes to be seen by Europe as a political peer despite their mismatch in political power and cultural legitimacy. My paternal grandmother immigrated to the United States from Sao Miguel, Portugal. My paternal grandfather s ancestors immigrated from England and Scotland to Canada. Some of my mother s paternal ancestors immigrated from Spain to France before immigrating to Canada, and others were Aboriginal Canadians. Three out of my four grandparents have roots in Quebec, Canada. French Canadian is not a nationality that I identify with, but it is the culture that has impacted my life the most, outside of American culture. Out of my six Quebecois great grandparents only my maternal great grandmother is known to be of an aboriginal background. All of my other great grandparents immigrated to or colonized Canada. There is little known about my great grandmother s history, except that she moved to North Adams, Massachusetts from Quebec and married my great grandfather in her early teens. The first nations of Canada, prior to the landing of Europeans, were divided into six major geographical groups. My great grandmother s ancestors most likely belonged to the Iroquoian first nations. The Iroquois people were not nomadic and had a complex system of democratic government. They are known for the impressive construction of longhouses and their system of farming corn, beans, and squash. Running was the most popular form of transportation to the Iroquois people ... • 5. What Is Jane Austen Definition Of Nobility There are many definitions of noble, from a gold coin to something of magnificent size. There are two definitions that are particularly similar in the ways people view each other. The first is a hereditary class of high social status and the second is showing fine personal qualities. In Jane Austen s Pride and Prejudice, Austen believes that nobility should be defined through the latter definition. Jane Austen believes that social rank should be determined by one s nobility, meaning their personal qualities rather that their hereditary class and proves this through the way the characters act, view each other, and view themselves. Mr. Bingley was unaffectedly civil in his answer, and forced his younger sister to be civil also, and say what the occasion required (Austen 41). Mr. Darcy says that women that can do simple tasks that they all can do are not considered accomplished, and continues to say that he has not met more than six women who he would believe are accomplished (Austen 35). This proves that women view themselves as accomplished and view other women like themselves as accomplished despite other people s harsh opinions which shows their nobleness. Mr. Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet for the second time but immediately thinks he does not deserve her and her feelings are the same as the first time he asked her (Austen 346). Alchemist Workshop Poem history and perhaps the most important in Dutch history of all.Rembrandt painted Alchemist workshop in 1606.this is the provenance of the painting, the interpretations have been wide ranging from alchemist to religious interpretations. A private space for both particle and spiritual work. Rembrandt used the oil painting show a man sitting in shadows near a window; on the far right is another men at the fire. The dark border of the image that surrounds the soft golden glow of the room not only emphasizes the alchemists stillness. Rembrandt s color is apparent in his unique choice and blend of hues, in the intricate details of the stone frame on the small door behind the man, and in the graceful curve of the stairs.one side of the helix is kept light in the painting, while the other side is kept dark.Rembrandt made a complex layers, building up a image from the back to the front with delicate glazes that allowed light actually to fill his backgrounds and reflect off the white under painting, and generously applied body colors which mimicked the effect of solid bodies in space. The curved surface shape is repeated throughout the composition.A black circle, making out the edge of the painting, and a black point within this circle. This point within the circle is a very well known symbol for esotericists al chemistry and metaphysics. After this point within the circle has been seen the next what comes in view is a helix spiral line in the middle of the painting. More primal than being spiral in shape is the given that the line separates the circle into two parts. Such a separated circle symbolizes in esotericism . A circle stands for unity and when that unity is divided duality is symbolized. And the most primal duality presented in esotericism is that of spirit and matter. The spiral staircase that divides the room, the old man in front of a window and the man at the fire. The size of the room is the fireplace seems very large, the arched roof and window, thick stone walls and small arched door all point to a small place in a rather grand house, not to mention the spectacular spiral staircase. The trend of the HDHP began before the passing of the Affordable Care Plan. One of the reasons for this increase was believed to be the saving options that the HDHP offers to drive more consumers. The number of employers that offered the HDHP went up very fast. Some researchers say that the HDHP saves enrollees money, but it reduces preventative care. In 2015, HDHP covered 24% of the workers in the employers that offer it, up from just 4% in 2006 (Kaiser/HRET, 2015). The increase in the number of the HDHP enrollees didn t only occur in an employment based market, but also in an individual based market due to high deductibles. In fact, 90 percent of the individuals covered by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplace pay higher deductible than the deductibles of the HDHP (Health Affairs, 2016). One of the reasons for this increase is the saving options that the HDHP offer to drive more consumers. The consumers will face high health care prices and this will make them think about whether deciding to look for care or not. As a result, this will reduce health care spending. A study showed that when individuals shifted from the low deductible health plan toward HDHP, their health spending dropped by 14% (RAND, 2011). Some researchers say that it s true that HDHP save money and cut health spending, but at the same time it reduces preventative care (RAND, 2011). Individuals who are young and healthy and are covered by the HDHP will avoid checking for their children immunizations, mammograms, or any other screening unless in case of emergency. • 8. Methods Of Using Data Relationships And Computer Models Analytics is the process of using data relationships and computer models to drive business value, improve decision making and understand human relationships. If the Information Age began in the 1990s with the rise of digital technology, then we ve now officially entered the Age of Big Data, wherein companies like Google, Facebook, IBM, Teradata, Oracle, and SAS have the capacity to gather a lifetime s worth of data about customers and their behavior. But that data is just an incomprehensible pile of numbers until a skilled analyst turns those numbers into meaningful information, useful for making intelligent business decisions. Today, companies are searching for experts in data analytics who have high formed business and technology backgrounds, and who understand the importance of the latest data and Information Age trends. This requires more than simple data analysis. Prescriptive analytics focuses on trends using simulation and optimization, while predictive analytics uses statistical tools to predict the future, and descriptive analytics is concerned with enabling smart decisions based on data. Data miners and data analytics experts who are versatile in all three areas of analytics can help corporate executives translate their data into intelligent information, which provides companies a competitive advantage and increases their bottom lines. Analytics have made their presence felt in every industry, but they have a major role to play in the sports industry and many teams ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The purpose of this lab is to evaluate the relationship between motor neurons and their associated muscle s electrical activity via neuromuscular junctions through: determining the correlation between EMG (electromyogram) activity and muscle force, observing muscle fatigue, as well as calculating the conduction velocity associated with the Achilles tendon reflex arc. An additional purpose of this lab is to demonstrate the effects of arm circumference and relative dominance on muscle fatigue. Hypothesis In the first experiment, as muscle force increases as induced by the subject, it is expected that the EMG activity will elevate likewise due to the directly proportional relationship between contraction strength and the muscle s amount of electrical impulses. Additionally, it is expected that resistance to fatigue will increase with greater forearm circumference due to the greater amount of fatigue resistant slow oxidative fibers. In the third section of this lab, it is anticipated that as path length of a particular reflex arc (in this case, the Achilles tendon reflex) increases, the overall conduction velocity will decrease due to the increased reflex time necessary for the impulse to be conducted up and down longer neurons. • 17. Lisfranc Fracture-Dislocation Case Study The Lisfranc fracture dislocation is characterised as an injury of the tarsometatarsal joints of the foot. This region of the foot is prone to injury due to the lack of ligaments separating the bases of the first and second metatarsals (Bontrager Lampignano, 2010). The Lisfranc joint articulates between the cuneiforms and cuboid of the foot, along with the distal end of metatarsals, and separates the forefoot from the midfoot. The joint can be seen from three different views in Figure 1 of the appendix (Kalia, Fishman, Carrino, Fayad, 2011). The clinical indications of a Lisfranc fracture dislocation include oedema and tenderness in the area of the midfoot. The injury is usually caused by the foot being overly plantar flexed, and is often associated with vehicular accidents and sporting injuries (Scolaro, Ahn Mehta, 2011). According to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... If the separation between the base of the first and second metatarsals is less than two millimetres, the recommended treatment is to cast and immobilise the foot until healed. However, the most common form of treatment is surgical and known as open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF). In Figure 4, a radiographic image shows how a surgical screw has been positioned to stabilise and internally fixate the Lisfranc fracture dislocation (Southerland, Boberg, Downey, Nakra Rabjohn, 2012). It has been suggested by Scolaro (2011) et al. that if the Lisfranc fracture dislocation is greater than two millimetres long term complications such as arthritis and damage to surrounding ligaments can occur. However, the likelihood of obtaining posttraumatic arthritis is decreased dramatically if ORIF surgery is performed soon after initial injury. If the Lisfranc fracture was a result of an athletic injury, pain and instability of the foot can occur and arthrodesis may be necessary for long term treatment (Saxena, ... A discovery can lead to a change in perspective on life, which can come from a better understanding of the self, which can form from an individual s experience. Final sleep is certainly one interpretation of the long sleep that the poet contrasts with human sleep. The sleep of the woodchuck is the sleep of winter, and winter, in the metaphoric language of seasons, has strong associations with death. The short story, the lake by Ray Bradbury creates a sombre tone and first person point of view not only creates a person, but a vivid picture of childhood in general, how it is often hard and misunderstood. Think about the function of myth and religion in helping human beings cope with change, suffering, loss, and death. The very first thing I am able to think of with this is the Bible. It encompasses everything that has been asked. As far as humans being able to cope, it is said in the Bible that I can do all things through God who strengthens me. Even with this example, one can assume that there is literally nothing that cannot be done, as long as God is on your side. The Bible also encompasses suffering, loss and death just through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Having said that, its what happens after that that can be tied directly to mythology. He is resurrected from the dead ascends into Heaven, thus creating that idea that one is capable of immortality, even if you have died. Where this diverges is that unlike Greek mythology, most people who identify themselves as Christians will not recognize the Bible as one of the greatest stories of mythology, ever. It can influence the mood, plot, characters, setting. Foster makes it very clear to us that an author will never put weather into a story with no reasoning behind it. Weather is not just simply a setting in literature. The author begins the chapter It s More Than Just Rain or Snow by explaining what mood the quote It was a dark and stormy night creates.
