Network Built For Local Area Networks Essay
WANs are systems built for information exchange that connects computers from anywhere in the
world across the globe. A wide area network (WAN) is generally used by large corporations or
organizations. WANs are very useful to these sorts of associations because it easily allows them to
deploy data from their computers to disseminate offices. Large organizations that use multiple
facilities usually end up using WANs. Smaller businesses are increasingly using WANs as well. They
are able to use WANs if they have at least two secluded sites. WAN usually connects two or more
LANs together. LAN stands for local area networks. The internet that we all use is very much
considered a WAN. WANs have existed for many years. They are methodical and controlled much
differently from other types of telecommunication systems. WANs are very similar to LANs because
they serve almost the same purpose. WANs are still a bit more intricate than LANs of course. In order
for a user to use WAN, they first would have to subscribe to a telecommunication providers service.
The organizations that choose to use WANs do not own or control any of the communication lines that
connect the secluded network systems to other computers. WANs are not used to connect individual
computers with each other. They were built to link different LANs together. When the WAN connects
the LANs to each other this is called internetwork. Routers and remote bridges play a part to the
internetwork as

The Concept and Principles of Marketing
Unit 3 Introduction to Marketing
P1 Describe the concept and principles of marketing.
In this task I have been asked to write about what is marketing principles and concepts, and also go
though what are the 6 elements of Marketing Mix.
The list of marketing principle and concept that I will be talk about are; * Overall concept * Marketing
definitions * Marketing principles * Marketing activities * Marketing objectives (SMART) *
Marketing functions * Links between organisational objectives and marketing objectives * Use of
marketing principles, e.g. public, private and voluntary organisations, retail consumers, government
departments and agencies. * Planning, control and evaluation processes * Development ... Show more

Once the new product has been decided production and advertisement would be issued and a further
research on the new product would be necessary, so the company can see how successful their
predictions have become.
Market principles:
In marketing principles there are four main goals; * Understanding consumer needs companies need to
understand the market change extremely fast, if your company cannot keep up with the new tend it
would be easy to get eliminate by the market. Its essential for a business to keep an eye out for what
new product did the competitors bring in the recent time, because it would be a waste of time and
effort if they cannot produce a better price or quality than their competitor s product. For instants CDs
players and walkman are getting replace by mp3 player and iPods, therefore there would be no point
producing another CD player when there wouldn t be anyone buying it. * Keeping ahead of
competition its important for a company to keep on top of their competitors because as i have mention
in the Understanding consumer needs it would be pointless to product a product which can not beat
your competitors excising products. * Communicating effectively with consumers just because a
company can come up with a product that can satisfy all the needs of the consumers, it still wouldn t
guarantee its going to be a successful product. If

America s Freedom Rings Through The Liberty Bell
Shockingly, words convey multiple stories and ideas. Within each word lies an abundant amount of
perspectives, treasures, and unknowns. Restoration means to return something to its original state or
condition. However, deeper ideas apply. Historically, the United States developed into a place of
freedom of speech and a home of many; a symbol of America s freedom rings through the Liberty
Bell. Independence solidified after the United States defeated Britain, which exhibits the restored
beliefs of the citizens as a whole. Men became unified, conflict faded to the backdrop, and people
viewed their home differently.
In nature, restoration still shines. Continuously illuminating the day, the sun stays overhead; the rays

Pediatric Dentists
Pediatric dentists work with younger children in need of oral care through creating a friendly and
comfortable environment. In an interview, Adam Shisler, DDS, explains the daily life of a pediatric
dentist. The dentist and staff begin the day at 8:30 AM by going over the game plan and relevant
charts for the day. Then, they begin check ups, appointments, and in office sedations until the
afternoon when they take an hour to an hour and half lunch break. After this break, the practice
resumes their work in the office until 5:00 or 5:30 in the evening. The schedule that comes along with
dentistry tends to stay flexible, with hours that dentists may schedule to their own, personal preference
(Shisler). The fact that Pediatric dentists work specifically with children, makes this field of dentistry
different from any other type. Anyone who has an interest in dentistry as well as working ... Show

Dr. Thomas O Leary, DDS, explains that in order to succeed, a dentist must genuinely care about his
or her patients and their well beings. He believes that all dentists must see their role as helping and
serving the community and that while the income aspect has its benefits, none of it has any value if the
dentist has not helped his or her patient. Aside from the moral characteristics that dentists must posses
in order to have a successful career, a dentist must also practice certain habits. One could describe a
dentist as a meticulous person, a perfectionist, and a neat worker. Many tasks in dentistry require
precision and perfected motor skills when working with small tools in the confined space of a mouth.
Dr. O Leary also believes that in general, dentists must have the willpower to work hard for what they
want (O Leary). If a dentist can excel in each of these areas, he or she will have a lucrative

Descriptive Essay About The Winter Concert
The sound of a dying cow, croaking its last breath . That was what my dad called the sound of me
playing my clarinet. Don t get me wrong, I love playing the clarinet and always tried my best, but 3rd
grade me was not that talented. To specify, I sounded truly horrible. All the beginner band students
(including me) had thought they were the best of the best. The greatest musicians in the world. Of
course, as you may know, 1st year players were nowhere near perfect no less professionals. And this
leads me to my school first concert of the year; The Winter Concert. We could not call it the Christmas
concert as I went to a public school. This was even though 95% of the kids were Christian/White and
most of the songs we sang and played were Christmas jingles. So, to continue, one of the songs we
played other than the obvious jingle bells, was hot cross buns. Clearly no concert is perfect and by far,
we screwed it up. By the end, none of the parents watching could tell the difference between the song
and the squeaks that were over powering the song . To conclude the concert, everyone s parents came
up to each of their sweet little kids and gave them flowers, hugs, and kisses. Mine came over and said,
You guys sounded like a herd being led to the slaughter house . Nah, just kidding said they loved it.
Their inner thoughts may have been a little different though. My 7th birthday was the first birthday I
actually celebrated with invited friends. Of course my parents were cheap and we had it at the park
instead of places like funtopia or chuckee cheeses, but it was fine. Really it was JUST FINE! I AM
NOT MAD! Just joking, I actually really enjoyed it. Most of the kids just came for the free pizza and
goodie bags at the end, but didn t we all at one point. I remember one time a group of me and my
friends went to this B day party of a girl we all hated... and avoided her the entire time! Ahhh, the
good old days where every kid was a bull, even to their fake friends, and no one got in trouble. Back
to what I was saying, so my party was all yay yay glitter, pink, sparkles, etc. until my brothers came.
Okay, so I have two brothers, one who is a year younger and one that s two years younger. You might

Motivation Of Professionalism And Success
Maxwell Almaguer
Professor Lace
English 101
28 February 2015
Motivation to Professionalism Student professionalism and success are required to work together to
motivate the student to be an efficient employee in the future. I am a good example of a student in
progress because I always arrive on time to my classes or work; follow any directions from my
professors or employers, and follow ethics that influence my professional behavior towards other
individuals. These ideas and ethics will benefit me in the future because it will satisfy the
requirements of employers and will assist me in to obtaining promotions. Professionalism and success
is what humans need to survive in modern society. As you read, you will need a basic understanding
of ethics and what do they propose towards professionalism. My ethics allowed me to be a great
example of student success because every day is one step closer to my educational goals. In order to
reach my educational goals, I must follow three simple expectations; arrive on time to class and work
to be prepared for assignments and tasks provided by the professor or supervisor. When I follow my
ethics, it allows me to behave professionally and accomplish my responsibilities as they come and go.
For professional behavior, my definition for student success has now expanded beyond the
achievement of goals into a larger realization that success is interdependent and systemic. It doesn t
begin and end with the individual or even two individuals.

Essay About Children
A long time ago, there was District 16. The District 16 was controlled by a strict government. January
seventeenth every year there is a meeting for the whole town to celebrate the children. This
celebration is to introduce the children to a new item. When someone turns twelve in District 16 the
government chooses a sport for that child to play. A family named the Smiths just got a new baby from
the government to raise. They already had two children a sixteen year old boy named James and an
eleven year old girl named Morgan and now a one year old girl named Lucy. This year the government
will give Morgan a sport, James will be given a job and Lucy will be given a swing to help relax her

The Drug Of Drug Testing Welfare Recipients
Drug Testing Welfare Recipients To test or not to test has been has been the question at hand for many
states that are dealing with whether or not to pass the law that welfare recipients should or should not
be drug tested in order to receive assistance from the government. Florida was the first state to
mandate the law in 2011 and thereafter twenty four other states in the last year have also passed this
law in our own state of Oklahoma being one of them. Although alcohol is legal it is abused far more
than marijuana or hard core drugs, According to the 1996 study by the National Institute of Alcohol
Abuse and Alcoholism the differences between the proportion of welfare and non welfare recipients
using illegal drugs are statistically insignificant. Although some states have decided to pass the law for
welfare recipients in order receive government assistance, I believe it s ineffective to drug test these
welfare recipients in order to receive their benefits. Welfare in the United States commonly refers to
the federal government welfare programs that have been put in place to assist the unemployed or
underemployed. Help is extended to the poor through a variety of government welfare programs that
include the Women, Infants, and Children Program, which is referred to as WIC, Medicaid, and
Temporary Assistance to Needy Families commonly known as TANF and Aid to Families with
Dependent Children. Drug testing welfare recipients is negative because drug tests performed on

Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama Essay example
Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama
Over the past few decades, there have been many political problems in Tibet. This can be attributed to
the ongoing problem between Tibet and China. Tibet had previously, for many years, been faced with
occupation by the forces of the People s Republic of China in their land. This was very alarming to
many people, including the highly respected Dalai Lama of Tibet. The Dalai Lama has been a very
influential person in Tibet s history and many of the decisions he has made have directly affected the
outcome of certain situations pertaining to the relationship between Tibet and China. The Dalai Lama,
in Tibetan Buddhism, is a lineage of reborn magistrates which traces all the way back to the year

After extensive searching, the monks found the house of the current Dalai Lama. They analyzed him
thoroughly and after he passed certain tests, they decided he was the next Dalai Lama. The Dalai
Lama, as the previous ones chosen before him had done, began his monastic education at the young
age of six. During his adolescent years, he was very unhappy. He missed his family very much and did
not experience what would be considered a normal childhood . However, the person in charge of him
[the Regent] let him sneak away to spend times with his parents, choosing to ignore these excursions.
By the time the Dalai Lama was fifteen years old, he was being considered the spiritual and temporal
leader of Tibet. He was then invested with full powers as head of the state of Tibet and enthroned as
temporal leader of Tibet after there was a large threat from communist China. The following years, he
set up numerous delegations and negotiations with the Chinese. However, Tibetan armed resistance
began growing as the threat of the People s Republic of China overtaking Tibet became more
prevalent. Tibet had always been seen as its own sovereign state. The Government of Tibet charged
taxes, issued its own currency, ran its postal system, issued postage stamps, commanded Tibet s small
army, and generally conducted all affairs of government.. Although the system worked perfectly for
the Tibetans, it was an ancient form of government that was in need of

Christian Calling History
The history of Christianity, in the early years, reflected on the calling or the vocation. The term calling
was usually dedicated to a person called lead the people, i.e., a pastor or member or the clergy. This is
the time to be convinced that a professional call to ministry is a biblical concept. Paul supports this in
Eph. 4:11 12, And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some
pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.
In keeping with church history, our calling comes from the knowledge that we have of God and the
theology that we ascertain from Him. Church reformer, Martin Luther, was against the theology of
glory but was for the theology of the cross. Gonzålez from, The Story of Christianity, of Luther, says,

In our calling, we should not get caught up with the idea of what the calling of God is for our lives.
For example, accepting the calling so that I can get certain perks that come with the calling, i.e., being
recognized as the minister, sitting up front during meetings, having an armor bearer, etc. Rather our
calling should always keep us focused on the cross of Christ and the revelation that it brings as we
seek after Him daily.
Ephesians 1:18 (New King James Version) shows us, the eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His
inheritance in the saints. Our calling should continually rest on understanding the mind of God and
where He is leading us in this walk with Him.
Throughout bible and church history, there were many that were called to do a specific task for God.
As I opened with Smith referring to Abraham, Moses, Isaiah, and Paul, I would like to take a moment
and reflect on the some of the bible heroes who were called to lead a people to the divine nature of

Should The American English Be Reformed
The American Revolution gave to the people of the New World onset to finally severe ties with the
royal crown of England. Men still in support of England were driven North to, what is now, Ontario,
while others went to the West Indies or back to England. The ideals of separation lead to belief that
they needed their own language. These aspirations were met with hostility. America is the of land
immigrants from backgrounds of German, Dutch, Irish, etc. Men like Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin
Rush still prompted the use of other languages within their own families. While, A Scheme for a New
Alphabet and Reformed Mode of Spelling, written and published by Benjamin Franklin in 1768,
suggested the English language should be reformed. John Adams proposed, like Swift, an academy
that would insist in studies in other language, while assuring American English as public institution.

Effect of Growing Internet Newspapers on Circulation of Print Newspapers in the U.S.

ABSTRACT An Internet survey of publishers and online editors found that growth of the Internet
newspaper yielded a slightly negative effect on print newspapers circulation. The findings suggest that
the smaller the newspaper, the larger effect the Internet newspapers had on the print newspapers.

newspaper reading was limited to the one serving people s home city or town plus a national daily
like The Wall Street Journal or USA Today. Now, however, local papers and any one of numerous
newspapers from across the country are only a few clicks away. 14 With all the advantages, the virtual
newspapers will become a competitive displacement for printed newspapers. 15 Studies found some
support for relative constancy with growth of the Internet newspapers. A survey by Editor Publisher

reading of print newspapers since going online. A survey conducted in Texas reported that among

Violent Media Aggression
Many parents go through the same cycle in regards to dealing with their children. Kids come home
from a long day of school and want a distraction from all the knowledge they consumed that day.
However, a parent does not always have the time or even the ability to entertain their kids, so while
they remain in the kitchen finishing preparing dinner, their children sit on the couch and engage in
video games. Obviously, each parent wants what is best for their child and worries about the effect of
all these violent video games corrupt with shooting, punching, blood, gore, and of course, death.
Which is exactly what leads them to this question. Researchers at Ohio State University asked parents,
media researchers, pediatricians, and psychologists of their opinion on this matter and here is what
they observed: 66 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
That s hardly a controversy, Bushman said. With the general consensus about the harmful effects of
media violence, it may seem surprising that some people still question the effects of violent media on
aggression. One important reason is that people don t distinguish between aggression and violence.
These two things are not the same; aggression is a lot less worrisome and harmful than violent
behavior because it does not indicate inflicting pain on another person. But will violent shooting
games and the like be the reason your son punched his brother in the arm when he made fun of him at
dinner tonight? According to Senior Pediatric Psychopharmacologist Dr. Raul R. Silva, childhood
aggression is a symptom of many different underlying problems and is packaged and presented
differently in each kid, seen much more frequently in boys who typically have more energy to dispose.
Violent video games seldom lead to violent behavior, and the distinction between aggressive and
violent behavior should be a focal point for parents of where to toe the

Dental Hygiene Importance
As stated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Each year, more than 30,000 new cases of
cancer of the oral cavity and pharynx are diagnosed and over 8,000 deaths due to oral cancer occur.
(CDC). Most adults are unaware that they have periodontal disease or gum disease, this occurs
because they do not maintain routine checkups with their dentist. When we insert food and other
bacteria into our mouths, it affects our teeth and gums. We need routine dental checkups and cleanings
throughout our lives. Dental checkups usually involve x rays, cleanings, and the examination of the
mouth.
Dental health is one of the most important matters in our lives. Without proper dental tonicity, people
can obtain dental problems, which can be as severe as death. In order to maintain proper dental care
go to your dentist every six months. It is also important to change your toothbrush regularly, floss, use
fluoride, and eat healthy foods. Healthy foods may consist of fruits, vegetables, breads, meats, and
drinking water is crucial to your dental health by maintaining a moisturized mouth. A moisturized
mouth protects our hard and soft oral tissues. Children and adults should know the benefits of
maintaining proper oral hygiene while preventing poor oral asepticism.. Not only does good oral
hygiene affects our mouth it also affects our overall health.
According to the World Health Organization, Worldwide, 60 90% of school children and nearly 100%

Reading And Writing On Student Learning
I like that, although our course is about content area reading, it also covers writing, another important
literacy skill. I believe that reading and writing should go hand in hand. Reading can enhance writing
and vice versa. I understand that some teachers consider reading first before writing because of
interpreting reading as a tool to access knowledge and writing as a tool to demonstrate that
knowledge. However, to me, which skill should come first is not as important as the fact that without
one, the other cannot exist.
One writing strategy from this week s reading assignments that I believe will have a great impact on
student learning, even if they are struggling writers, is the six step report writing strategy. Graham,
Harris, MacArthur (2006) stated that the report writing strategy consists of the following steps:
1. Choose a topic.
2. Brainstorm all you know and would like to know about the topic.
3. Organize your ideas by main points and details on a web, where main ideas and subordinate ideas
are linked together through the use of lines and arrows.
4. Read to find new information and verify the accuracy of already generated material (add, delete,
and modify information on the web as necessary).
5. Write your report using information from the web you created, but continue planning as you write.
6. Check to be sure that you used everything you wanted from the web.

association representative, Millions of foreigners, after arriving in Moscow and tasting our ice cream,
have proclaimed Russian ice cream to be the best in the world. 7 In the selling of ice cream, many
products competed for the consumer dollar, including beer (Baltica and dozens of other domestic
brands), soda (primarily Pepsi and Coke), yogurts, chocolate (Mars, Nestlé, and numerous domestic
players such as Red October), and other confectionary candies. The producers of these products often
spent considerably more on advertising than ice cream producers.8 In 2001, ice cream producers spent
less than $5 million on advertising in Russia (1% of sales), while the $4.5 billion Russian beer market
spent approximately $90 million (2% of sales) and the soft drink industry spent almost $200 million
(7% of sales) on advertising.9 The beer, soft drink, and confectionary industries enjoyed increasing

Why Is Technology Important In Ww2
During many wars, technology that was developed for specific wartime needs has been integrated to
everyday use but, compared to other wars, World War 2 had the largest effect of the technology we use
today. While a lot of countries decided to go with quality over quantity, the United States decided to
go with quantity over quality. While they decided to go with quantity over quality, their technology
was still good for that time. Technology played a major role during World War 2, from
communications to transmit information across the battlefield, to aircraft and chemical weapons
bombing, to technologies that we still use to this day.
America was developing new technology and improving on technologies they already had throughout
the war. As stated above, technology played a major role during World War 2, so getting ahead of the
enemy was key to winning the war. One of the key technologies in World War 2 was their logistics and
communications. America used electronic computers for ballistics and trajectory calculators. Without
these computers s U.S. might not have been able to hit their targets with the same precision. Their
trajectory ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One example is the discovery of the German V 2 rocket, which led countries like the U.S. to develop
the PGM 11 Redstone missile. The creation of the this missile led to founding of the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration also known as NASA, and the beginning of the Mercury
Program. These developments led to the lunar missions, known as the Apollo Program. One of the
biggest developments of World War 2 was the Manhattan project, in which we produced the atomic
bomb which increased our understanding of nuclear physics. Because of our new found understanding
of nuclear fission, we are able to create reactors to produce energy which we use to power our
technologies we use every

Making Pottery On A Wheel
Making pottery on a wheel is a form of art that takes time and skill. Each piece is unique, but each one
is made using the same process. Learning the basic process of spinning pottery will begin you on the
path to making a successful and beautiful bowl or vase. It is so easy to become addicted to this type of
artwork, especially if you are a perfectionist like me, because of the symmetry and small details
involved. Ceramics takes time to make, however the outcome is definitely worth it.
Clay, a wheel, and water are basic necessities in making pottery. Going to a pottery shop or, if you are
in school, taking a ceramics class can be the easiest ways to get ahold of these materials. Some other
things you will probably want to use is sponges and a set of tools. Tools are used to help sculpt the
pottery which will be put into more detail late. Also, when spinning clay, it can make a mess so I
highly suggest an apron or clothes you do not mind getting dirty.
To begin making your piece of pottery you will need clay. Clay usually comes in massive blocks so
cut off approximately a four by four inch block. This block must be transformed into a sphere to make
it easier to center. Smacking the corners in on the block with your hands helps make this sphere. If you
have troubles forming the sphere with your hands alone, use a table to roll it. Use the center of your
hand and move the clay in circular motion to create the sphere.
Once the clay is formed in a sphere you will take it to the

Ben Mezrich s Bringing Down The House
Micky Rosa
In Ben Mezrich s book, Bringing Down the House, one of the major characters, Micky Rosa comes
into the story and is described as an inspiring, intelligent man. His role in this book stood out to me as
being one of the most important and exciting characters. Micky is a small, forty year old man, who
started the blackjack team at MIT. His presence automatically contributes to the successes of all
members of the blackjack team. He has character traits that positively influence each and every player.
Micky Rosa is seen as a positive, inspiring figure toward the blackjack team because of his
intelligence, persistence, and passion. However Micky was kicked off the team and still carried on his
legacy of inspiring card counters.

He therefore went on the teach at MIT to students that wanted to learn about card counting. He started
to fund this team and he was able to make money even though he never stepped foot in the casino. The
team was prosperous and profitable for quite a while, but one day decided that Micky was no longer
contributing. The members of this team kicked him off shortly after, when they believed he wasn t
providing any more benefit to the team. They thought he was taking away profit from them without
helping them out.
Micky s passion towards the game of blackjack is crazy. It shows when he is kicked off of the team
and then still continued to have a blackjack team of his own. He found new players and taught a new
set of inexperienced players. He didn t want to give up the game. His respect for this team also was
revealed when the team told him the news. He took the news fairly well and listened carefully to what
Fisher and Martinez had to say. He didn t yell or get mad at them for the decision they had made, he
just respected their decision and went along with his

Comparing Puck And Bottom In A Midsummer Night s Dream
There are many comedic characters in Shakespeare s A Midsummer Night s Dream. A Midsummer
Night s Dream is about love and how confusing it can be. There is a fairy world, and then the real
worlds, and the various love triangles in each. Despite there being multiple comedic characters, the
two who stand out the most are Puck and Bottom. Both characters are in the play for comedic effects,
but both could not be more different. This paper will go through how they are different and similar,
and how they are like the groups they represent. Although Puck and Bottom are different characters,
they have a lot of similarities. One similarity they have is that they are both in the play as comedic
characters. You can tell Bottom is a comedic character because most of his lines are comedic, such as

there. This monologue is telling the audience how Pluck is a prankster, and how he pulls these pranks
to cheer up Oberon. Bottom, on the other hand, is not being funny on purpose. An example of this is
Bottom s idea of having someone play the wall. Bottom states Some man or other must present Wall.
And let him have some plaster, or some loam, or some roughcast about him to signify wall. And let
him hold his fingers thus, and through that cranny shall Pyramus and Thisbe whisper. This is funny
because this is a bad solution to the problem, but Bottom is very serious about it. Everyone else goes

look to identify the roles and differences between Limited Liability Corporations and Partnerships.
Each has different advantages and disadvantages than the other. I will look to break down each and
then identify which method of ownership would be the preferred method from an individual
responsibility standpoint. Having stake or being invested into a company is important to know what
you rights are and what you as an owner are responsible, liable for, and or entitled to. It is important to

Independent contractors win out best in sole proprietorships because they pay the basic needs, and that
s their investment, and they see the profits, while the company eats the loss. Bread vendors are a good
example of this. They make money on the bread they sell, but don t lose money on the staled bread
they return. This applies to independent contractors that serve as drivers for those companies. These
drivers supply their own trucks and insurance, they only do a delivery service and make out the orders.
The drivers are not responsible for the losses on bread not sold. They are given a percentage on bread
sold. They file their own personal taxes and are not liable for any company assets or liabilities. In
closing, decision making on which LLC to be associated with is based on size and the amount of
interest or investments in a company. Every company is different and their classification will be based
on the operations of the business and its overall needs some require different financial investments,
and the more of the financial requirement, the more of the obligation for more partners and funding,

Router and Switches
Router and Switches II In Routers and Switches we learned several things such as: what is a Router,
why we need Routers, what is the importance of a Router. We also learned what VLSM is and how to
do it and use it. Throughout CCNA we learned how to configure a Router; the different types of
Routing protocols and most importantly what, when and how to use those protocols in the field.
Finally I will discuss Switches in how they are use to set up a LAN. Throughout this paper these topic
will be discuss to cover what was learned through class lecture and text book (CCNA study guide by
Lammle) and actually applied through hands on labs which were done with actual Cisco Router and

The most common of the two link state protocols is OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) it is widely used
throughout the field (#1) due to it being a non proprietor protocol as well as its ability to interface with
other networks. With OSPF you can group router into small areas and link them through a back bone
when this is done you create the following a back bone router within the area of the back bone there is
an area border router (ABR), ABR must have one interface in each area meaning the back bone and
the area trying to link to the back bone, OSPF can also connect to multiple Autonomous System.
When configuring OSPF you must assign a process number in all router within that group must use
that same number, the number can range for 1 to 65,535 you can also have more than one each one
will maintain its own separate topology table as well as manage it independently. There is also
distance vectors RIP vs. 1 and 2 (Routing Information Protocol) these work well on small networks,
IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and EIGRP (is the enhanced version of IGRP). The thing
about these two meaning IGRP and EIGRP is that they are proprietary protocols so they only work

This meant that ownership of a CD was still necessary, meaning sales did not drop significantly to
begin with. However the invention of MP3 players, allowing people to move files from their computer
on to a portable device meant this was no longer a problem for down loaders. Some sites have aimed
to provide a legal outlet for customers to download music, the most recognisable being Apple s iTunes
system. This has been an extremely successful venture for Apple, but has done little to prevent piracy.
Apple has also played their part in the way we purchase music. The International Federation of the
Phonographic Industry (IFPI) Digital Music report estimates that forty billion tracks were downloaded
in 2008. 95% of these tracks are estimated to have been downloaded illegally (IFPI Digital Music
Report 2009). While it is obvious that the music industry has almost gone completely digital and
people no longer place any real value in owning physical CDs, music listeners also avoid paying for
their downloaded copy of the songs they wish to own.
So what action, if any, is being taken to prevent internet users from effectively stealing music? So far
Eircom are the only internet service provider (ISP) to sign up to the Irish Recorded Music Association
s (IRMA) three strikes policy, cutting off the internet for users caught downloading illegal music files.

Ocean Oil Spill Essay
There have been many oil spills in the ocean, some big and some small. All of these oil spills have had
a huge effect on the wildlife in the ocean. The oil from the oil rig stays on the surface of the water
because oil is less dense than the water, this causes the oil to just float cause it can t go anywhere else
and it won t mix in with the water. This is harmful in so many different ways to the life in the ocean.
The oil can prevent sunlight from penetrating the surface, which can cause it to be dark under the
surface. The oil also can cover thousands of birds, mammals, and sea turtles. When birds land in the
water they become covered in oil. The oil ruins the insulating and waterproofing properties of the fur

Henry Ford And The Model T
In October of 1908, Henry Ford, owner of the revolutionary Ford Motor Company, had released to the
public the Model T, an automobile powered by a gasoline engine, namely called a horseless carriage
since it was a similar form of transportation. Although early blueprints of automobiles were in
Germany and France at the time, it wasn t them who took over the automobile industry, it was the
Americans. Ford Motor Company, General Motors, and Chrysler were the big three who dominated
the car market. Their mass production of cars for the public exploded with popularity, especially

The Impact Of Social Communication On The Areas Of Social...
In the Fall of 2014, I observed weekly therapy sessions with a four year old boy diagnosed with
Autism Spectrum Disorder. The client was enrolled in an early childhood classroom and was having
difficulties independently participating in preschool activities due to his deficits in social skills, as
well as receptive and expressive language. More specifically, the client s deficits in social skills
consisted of problems employing eye contact, turn taking, joint attention, and theory of mind. This
case has inspired me to examine the literature on developmental milestones of social communication

This ability to perceive, think about, understand, and interact with other people is known as social
cognition (Bennett, 1993). From a young age, children try to understand complex social situations and
eventually, anticipate and even control what the people around them do (Bennett, 1993). Effective
communication involves understanding and making inferences about others mental states such as their
knowledge, beliefs, intentions, desires, and emotions (Bennett, 1993). This understanding of mental
states is an aspect of social cognition known as Theory of Mind (Bennett, 1993). Theory of mind is
important for social interaction in order to understand and predict the actions and behaviors of the
people around us (Martin McDonald, 2003). In past research, it has been argued that children possess
a theory of mind (Bennett, 1993). However, the questioning does not stop here. The notion that
children have theory of mind leads researchers to ask additional questions such as: To what extent do
children actually understand the mental states of others? When do children begin to acquire this
knowledge of mind and how does this knowledge develop? Wellman (1990) and Perner (1991) both
claim that infants do not possess theory of mind. Perner (1991) argues that the social awareness, joint
attention, and emotional awareness seen in 9 12 month olds does not require understanding of adults

Wrist Cock USlint Research Paper
After helping the freshman with skills exams on Tuesday, I immediately put on my wrist cock up split
to get the full experience of this opportunity. I stopped at the Valero in Carthage to get gas then drove
from Carthage to Marshall, drove to my aunt s house in Elysian Fields, ate dinner, typed a paper,
brushed and straightened my hair, folded clothes, used my iPhone, brushed my teeth, and slept in my
wrist cock up split. On November 4, I entered the Sulphur Springs Walmart to purchase a couple of
items. Upon the 16 hours of wearing the wrist cock up splint, I would say I experienced some of the
struggles patients have when wearing any type of splint. When I was in the first grade I broke my
wrist and had a cast put on, but then I never noticed the limitations it provided me with. However, this
week while wearing this wrist cock up ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With this experience, I am able to provide empathy towards future patient s and help them find

occupations that I would be able to pass on to patient s when needing a wrist cock up splint. With
knowing every patient will be different, I will have to provide different ways to help the patient adapt
to the wrist cock up splint. Such as, letting a pediatric patient color all over his/her splint in order to let
them want to wear it for the desired length of time, or an adult see the importance of needing to keep
the splint on. If making splints is in my future, I will remember to consider comfort, yet the correct
amount of support needed for the individual. My take home message from this experience is, through
the limitations provided by the wrist cock up splint, or any adaptive equipment for that matter, there is
always a way around it. You just have to figure it

This pyramid, in all practicality, acted as a tomb for the great Egyptian king Khafre. Though slowly
deteriorating, the Khafre Pyramid was originally finished with a sheath of polished limestone. This
limestone finish gave the pyramid a sense of elegance and beauty. Sadly today, only a small portion of
the finish is intact at the pinnacle of the pyramid; the rest has fallen victim to time. The measurements
of this pyramid is 140 meters high with a 216 meter square base. Its angle is about 52 degrees. This
mountain of masonry contained passageways and chambers filled with Egyptian treasures honoring
the dead king. Incidentally, there is a religious aspect to the Great Pyramid. In Egyptian religion, death
brought on immortality to the king; Egyptian pharaohs were revered as gods. According to Stokstad,
the immense monuments reflect not only the desire of a
[king] to attain immortality but also the strength of the
Egyptians belief that a deceased ruler continued to affect the well being of the state and his people
from beyond the grave.
It was believed by Egyptians that gods slept in the Great Pyramids. Once sealed, there was no way
into the pyramids; therefore, a perfect resting place for these gods. As for the labor force and time it
took to build the monument, the Greek historian, Herodotus, believed the pyramid was build by
100,000 men [for about] twenty years. This project basically relieved any unemployment problems

  • 2. Network Built For Local Area Networks Essay WANs are systems built for information exchange that connects computers from anywhere in the world across the globe. A wide area network (WAN) is generally used by large corporations or organizations. WANs are very useful to these sorts of associations because it easily allows them to deploy data from their computers to disseminate offices. Large organizations that use multiple facilities usually end up using WANs. Smaller businesses are increasingly using WANs as well. They are able to use WANs if they have at least two secluded sites. WAN usually connects two or more LANs together. LAN stands for local area networks. The internet that we all use is very much considered a WAN. WANs have existed for many years. They are methodical and controlled much differently from other types of telecommunication systems. WANs are very similar to LANs because they serve almost the same purpose. WANs are still a bit more intricate than LANs of course. In order for a user to use WAN, they first would have to subscribe to a telecommunication providers service. The organizations that choose to use WANs do not own or control any of the communication lines that connect the secluded network systems to other computers. WANs are not used to connect individual computers with each other. They were built to link different LANs together. When the WAN connects the LANs to each other this is called internetwork. Routers and remote bridges play a part to the internetwork as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Once the new product has been decided production and advertisement would be issued and a further research on the new product would be necessary, so the company can see how successful their predictions have become. Market principles: In marketing principles there are four main goals; * Understanding consumer needs companies need to understand the market change extremely fast, if your company cannot keep up with the new tend it would be easy to get eliminate by the market. Its essential for a business to keep an eye out for what new product did the competitors bring in the recent time, because it would be a waste of time and effort if they cannot produce a better price or quality than their competitor s product. For instants CDs players and walkman are getting replace by mp3 player and iPods, therefore there would be no point producing another CD player when there wouldn t be anyone buying it. * Keeping ahead of competition its important for a company to keep on top of their competitors because as i have mention in the Understanding consumer needs it would be pointless to product a product which can not beat your competitors excising products. * Communicating effectively with consumers just because a company can come up with a product that can satisfy all the needs of the consumers, it still wouldn t guarantee its going to be a successful product. • 4. America s Freedom Rings Through The Liberty Bell Shockingly, words convey multiple stories and ideas. Within each word lies an abundant amount of perspectives, treasures, and unknowns. Restoration means to return something to its original state or condition. However, deeper ideas apply. Historically, the United States developed into a place of freedom of speech and a home of many; a symbol of America s freedom rings through the Liberty Bell. Independence solidified after the United States defeated Britain, which exhibits the restored beliefs of the citizens as a whole. Men became unified, conflict faded to the backdrop, and people viewed their home differently. In nature, restoration still shines. • 5. Pediatric Dentists Pediatric dentists work with younger children in need of oral care through creating a friendly and comfortable environment. In an interview, Adam Shisler, DDS, explains the daily life of a pediatric dentist. The dentist and staff begin the day at 8:30 AM by going over the game plan and relevant charts for the day. Then, they begin check ups, appointments, and in office sedations until the afternoon when they take an hour to an hour and half lunch break. After this break, the practice resumes their work in the office until 5:00 or 5:30 in the evening. The schedule that comes along with dentistry tends to stay flexible, with hours that dentists may schedule to their own, personal preference (Shisler). The fact that Pediatric dentists work specifically with children, makes this field of dentistry different from any other type. Anyone who has an interest in dentistry as well as working ... He believes that all dentists must see their role as helping and serving the community and that while the income aspect has its benefits, none of it has any value if the dentist has not helped his or her patient. Aside from the moral characteristics that dentists must posses in order to have a successful career, a dentist must also practice certain habits. One could describe a dentist as a meticulous person, a perfectionist, and a neat worker. Many tasks in dentistry require precision and perfected motor skills when working with small tools in the confined space of a mouth. Dr. O Leary also believes that in general, dentists must have the willpower to work hard for what they want (O Leary). • 6. Descriptive Essay About The Winter Concert The sound of a dying cow, croaking its last breath . That was what my dad called the sound of me playing my clarinet. Don t get me wrong, I love playing the clarinet and always tried my best, but 3rd grade me was not that talented. To specify, I sounded truly horrible. All the beginner band students (including me) had thought they were the best of the best. The greatest musicians in the world. Of course, as you may know, 1st year players were nowhere near perfect no less professionals. And this leads me to my school first concert of the year; The Winter Concert. We could not call it the Christmas concert as I went to a public school. This was even though 95% of the kids were Christian/White and most of the songs we sang and played were Christmas jingles. So, to continue, one of the songs we played other than the obvious jingle bells, was hot cross buns. Clearly no concert is perfect and by far, we screwed it up. By the end, none of the parents watching could tell the difference between the song and the squeaks that were over powering the song . To conclude the concert, everyone s parents came up to each of their sweet little kids and gave them flowers, hugs, and kisses. Mine came over and said, You guys sounded like a herd being led to the slaughter house . Nah, just kidding said they loved it. Their inner thoughts may have been a little different though. My 7th birthday was the first birthday I actually celebrated with invited friends. Of course my parents were cheap and we had it at the park instead of places like funtopia or chuckee cheeses, but it was fine. Really it was JUST FINE! I AM NOT MAD! Just joking, I actually really enjoyed it. Most of the kids just came for the free pizza and goodie bags at the end, but didn t we all at one point. I remember one time a group of me and my friends went to this B day party of a girl we all hated... and avoided her the entire time! Ahhh, the good old days where every kid was a bull, even to their fake friends, and no one got in trouble. Back to what I was saying, so my party was all yay yay glitter, pink, sparkles, etc. until my brothers came. Okay, so I have two brothers, one who is a year younger and one that s two years younger. • 7. Motivation Of Professionalism And Success Maxwell Almaguer Professor Lace English 101 28 February 2015 Motivation to Professionalism Student professionalism and success are required to work together to motivate the student to be an efficient employee in the future. I am a good example of a student in progress because I always arrive on time to my classes or work; follow any directions from my professors or employers, and follow ethics that influence my professional behavior towards other individuals. These ideas and ethics will benefit me in the future because it will satisfy the requirements of employers and will assist me in to obtaining promotions. Professionalism and success is what humans need to survive in modern society. As you read, you will need a basic understanding of ethics and what do they propose towards professionalism. My ethics allowed me to be a great example of student success because every day is one step closer to my educational goals. In order to reach my educational goals, I must follow three simple expectations; arrive on time to class and work to be prepared for assignments and tasks provided by the professor or supervisor. When I follow my ethics, it allows me to behave professionally and accomplish my responsibilities as they come and go. For professional behavior, my definition for student success has now expanded beyond the achievement of goals into a larger realization that success is interdependent and systemic. It doesn t begin and end with the individual or even two individuals. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 9. The Drug Of Drug Testing Welfare Recipients Drug Testing Welfare Recipients To test or not to test has been has been the question at hand for many states that are dealing with whether or not to pass the law that welfare recipients should or should not be drug tested in order to receive assistance from the government. Florida was the first state to mandate the law in 2011 and thereafter twenty four other states in the last year have also passed this law in our own state of Oklahoma being one of them. Although alcohol is legal it is abused far more than marijuana or hard core drugs, According to the 1996 study by the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism the differences between the proportion of welfare and non welfare recipients using illegal drugs are statistically insignificant. Although some states have decided to pass the law for welfare recipients in order receive government assistance, I believe it s ineffective to drug test these welfare recipients in order to receive their benefits. Welfare in the United States commonly refers to the federal government welfare programs that have been put in place to assist the unemployed or underemployed. Help is extended to the poor through a variety of government welfare programs that include the Women, Infants, and Children Program, which is referred to as WIC, Medicaid, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families commonly known as TANF and Aid to Families with Dependent Children. • 11. Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama Essay example Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama Over the past few decades, there have been many political problems in Tibet. This can be attributed to the ongoing problem between Tibet and China. Tibet had previously, for many years, been faced with occupation by the forces of the People s Republic of China in their land. This was very alarming to many people, including the highly respected Dalai Lama of Tibet. The Dalai Lama has been a very influential person in Tibet s history and many of the decisions he has made have directly affected the outcome of certain situations pertaining to the relationship between Tibet and China. The Dalai Lama, in Tibetan Buddhism, is a lineage of reborn magistrates which traces all the way back to the year 1391. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After extensive searching, the monks found the house of the current Dalai Lama. They analyzed him thoroughly and after he passed certain tests, they decided he was the next Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama, as the previous ones chosen before him had done, began his monastic education at the young age of six. During his adolescent years, he was very unhappy. He missed his family very much and did not experience what would be considered a normal childhood . However, the person in charge of him [the Regent] let him sneak away to spend times with his parents, choosing to ignore these excursions. By the time the Dalai Lama was fifteen years old, he was being considered the spiritual and temporal leader of Tibet. The term calling was usually dedicated to a person called lead the people, i.e., a pastor or member or the clergy. This is the time to be convinced that a professional call to ministry is a biblical concept. Paul supports this in Eph. 4:11 12, And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ. In keeping with church history, our calling comes from the knowledge that we have of God and the theology that we ascertain from Him. Church reformer, Martin Luther, was against the theology of glory but was for the theology of the cross. Gonzålez from, The Story of Christianity, of Luther, says, ... For example, accepting the calling so that I can get certain perks that come with the calling, i.e., being recognized as the minister, sitting up front during meetings, having an armor bearer, etc. Rather our calling should always keep us focused on the cross of Christ and the revelation that it brings as we seek after Him daily. Ephesians 1:18 (New King James Version) shows us, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Our calling should continually rest on understanding the mind of God and where He is leading us in this walk with Him. I believe that reading and writing should go hand in hand. Reading can enhance writing and vice versa. I understand that some teachers consider reading first before writing because of interpreting reading as a tool to access knowledge and writing as a tool to demonstrate that knowledge. However, to me, which skill should come first is not as important as the fact that without one, the other cannot exist. One writing strategy from this week s reading assignments that I believe will have a great impact on student learning, even if they are struggling writers, is the six step report writing strategy. This ability to perceive, think about, understand, and interact with other people is known as social cognition (Bennett, 1993). From a young age, children try to understand complex social situations and eventually, anticipate and even control what the people around them do (Bennett, 1993). Effective communication involves understanding and making inferences about others mental states such as their knowledge, beliefs, intentions, desires, and emotions (Bennett, 1993). This understanding of mental states is an aspect of social cognition known as Theory of Mind (Bennett, 1993). Theory of mind is important for social interaction in order to understand and predict the actions and behaviors of the people around us (Martin McDonald, 2003). In past research, it has been argued that children possess a theory of mind (Bennett, 1993). However, the questioning does not stop here. The notion that children have theory of mind leads researchers to ask additional questions such as: To what extent do children actually understand the mental states of others? When do children begin to acquire this knowledge of mind and how does this knowledge develop? Wellman (1990) and Perner (1991) both claim that infants do not possess theory of mind. Perner (1991) argues that the social awareness, joint attention, and emotional awareness seen in 9 12 month olds does not require understanding of adults mental states, ... • 33. Wrist Cock USlint Research Paper After helping the freshman with skills exams on Tuesday, I immediately put on my wrist cock up split to get the full experience of this opportunity. I stopped at the Valero in Carthage to get gas then drove from Carthage to Marshall, drove to my aunt s house in Elysian Fields, ate dinner, typed a paper, brushed and straightened my hair, folded clothes, used my iPhone, brushed my teeth, and slept in my wrist cock up split. On November 4, I entered the Sulphur Springs Walmart to purchase a couple of items. Upon the 16 hours of wearing the wrist cock up splint, I would say I experienced some of the struggles patients have when wearing any type of splint. When I was in the first grade I broke my wrist and had a cast put on, but then I never noticed the limitations it provided me with. However, this week while wearing this wrist cock up ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... With this experience, I am able to provide empathy towards future patient s and help them find comfortable ways to move around with the splint. This experience helped me find loop holes in daily occupations that I would be able to pass on to patient s when needing a wrist cock up splint. With knowing every patient will be different, I will have to provide different ways to help the patient adapt to the wrist cock up splint. Such as, letting a pediatric patient color all over his/her splint in order to let them want to wear it for the desired length of time, or an adult see the importance of needing to keep the splint on. If making splints is in my future, I will remember to consider comfort, yet the correct amount of support needed for the individual. My take home message from this experience is, through the limitations provided by the wrist cock up splint, or any adaptive equipment for that matter, there is always a way around it. You just have to figure it ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Fuzzy Based Automated System For Predicting Viral Infections Fuzzy based Automated System for Predicting Viral Infections(Chicken Pox, Swine Flu and Dengue) Ravinkal Kaur Dept. of computer science and engineering CTITR Jalandhar, India ravinkal93@gmail.com Sarabjit Kaur Assistant Professor Dept. of computer science and engineering CTITR Jalandhar, India er_sarabjitkaur35@rediffmail.com Virat Rehani Assistant Professor Dept. of computer applications CTIMIT Jalandhar, India vrehani@yahoo.com Abstract Health protection is the improvement of health via the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, illness, injury, and other mental impairments in human beings. This system is based on Fuzzy Logic, adopting Mamdani model as the fuzzy inference mechanism and list of medical diseases. With diseases like swine flu and dengue fever, chicken pox, on the rise, which have symptoms, are so closely associated that it sometimes become practically Herculean task to differentiate between the above scribed diseases based on symptoms. Thus, it becomes inevitable to design such a system that would closely monitor the symptoms and infer the disease based on fuzzy inference system. This work is done by assigning different coefficients to each symptom of a disease and to predict and quantify the severity impact of the recognized disease. For predicting, the cure time of a disease, based on the symptoms. Perdition of cure time is clinically based on hypothetic studies and to estimate the cure time of a disease based on the symptoms. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This pyramid, in all practicality, acted as a tomb for the great Egyptian king Khafre. Though slowly deteriorating, the Khafre Pyramid was originally finished with a sheath of polished limestone. This limestone finish gave the pyramid a sense of elegance and beauty. Sadly today, only a small portion of the finish is intact at the pinnacle of the pyramid; the rest has fallen victim to time. The measurements of this pyramid is 140 meters high with a 216 meter square base. Its angle is about 52 degrees. This mountain of masonry contained passageways and chambers filled with Egyptian treasures honoring the dead king. Incidentally, there is a religious aspect to the Great Pyramid. In Egyptian religion, death brought on immortality to the king; Egyptian pharaohs were revered as gods. According to Stokstad, the immense monuments reflect not only the desire of a [king] to attain immortality but also the strength of the Egyptians belief that a deceased ruler continued to affect the well being of the state and his people from beyond the grave. It was believed by Egyptians that gods slept in the Great Pyramids. Once sealed, there was no way into the pyramids; therefore, a perfect resting place for these gods. As for the labor force and time it took to build the monument, the Greek historian, Herodotus, believed the pyramid was build by 100,000 men [for about] twenty years. This project basically relieved any unemployment problems ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
