that need to be complied with by the

- Tender bond: In the form of Bank Guarantee
or Banker’s Cheque made payable to
employer.
- Tender Validity Period: 90 Days from the final
closing date of tender
FINAL SUMMARY OF TENDER
● Is a part for the collection of all
priced bills for all sections of the
project
● So that tenderer can insert the
sectional summary to arrive at a
total amount which ultimately
becomes the “ tender amount”.
● Needed to be sign by the tenderer
and employer representative.
PREAMBLES● summary of the work requested
● explain the project, materials needed, unit prices,
provisional sums, methods of measurement and
potential errors.
● helpful to address issues related to
unforeseeable costs associated with the project.
Example:
The Contractor shall be deemed to have read and
examined the Tender Documents before completing
the Bill of Quantities and the Schedule of Rates. The
Specifications, Schedules etc. are to be considered as
explanatory of each other and no advantage shall be
taken of any omission in tender documents.
