Why I Want To Pursue A Career In Computer Forensics
To obtain a career in Computer Forensics I will need to further my knowledge in programming. The
classes I took at MGSU has given me the knowledge to obtain an entry level position but I will need
to take more classes that concentrate in one area like C++ and play around with the language to
become an expert with it. I will also need to further my understanding on firewalls, incident response,
and the security of networks. Going to graduate school will help be gain further knowledge in the area
and help me perform better in my career path. I have develop multiple leadership skills from being in
the military. Recently I have become an NCO and have been given the chance to lead troops under
me. Taking this course has taught me how to delegate work down. Running a shop by myself during
the week I am so used to doing everything by myself I sometimes forget to delegate work down. From
the courses I have taken I have gain new knowledge and have enhanced my skills in the field of
Information Technology. This has given me the opportunity to train others and pass on my knowledge

Technology In Fashion
Abstract
As the power of science and technology merge together, society lifestyles have been altered
profoundly. In the mid 1900s, the science community was convinced that body worn technology
would be a hit. Most developments can be found to be very little and all of the few consumer products
so far have not been very successful. The first part of the thesis illustrates why this is the case and
presents examples that why smart clothing could be a part of everyday life. The second part shows
research on how the smart clothing industry has the potential to expand. It supports a sustainable
lifestyle by showing the pros and cons of the fashion design,
Introduction
In today s society the evolution of smartphones and tablets, and wearable technology has been a huge
leader in the consumer s electronic market (Berkeley University of California). Electronic textiles,
also known as smart garments, smart clothing, smart textiles or smart fabrics refers to technology
embedded into their fabric. Many technologists are using a wide range of sensors to provide
consumers with more information and data about their body and lives than ever before. Despite the
rapid growth of wearable technology in fitness tracker and smartwatch categories other categories are
lacking in growth and sell. So far, smart clothing can be mostly found in certain markets such as,
healthcare, sports or the military. It has not yet made it mainstream in big consumer markets but as
advancements occur smart

Comparing John Locke and Baron de Montesquieu Essay
The Enlightenment was a time of change in Europe. There were many new ideas, and various
influential thinkers that inspired new invention and also inspired revolutions. All of these thinkers had
different views on people and government and different views of people and how they act. Many of
these authoritative individuals thoughts still influence us even today. Many of their ideas are used in
government and also as guidelines for people to live their lives by. John Locke and Baron de
Montesquieu both helped to build our constitution and we borrowed some of their ideas for how we
live our lives in America. John Locke had the idea that people were born with the three natural rights:
life, liberty, and property. We as an early country ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In 1748 he published On the Spirit of Laws which was a book describing his views on government. It
goes into detail about how his idea of three branches of government and the separation of powers in
the government would work. He also cites example of governments similar to his idea of separated
powers. He also wrote about empires before his time and how their laws influenced many countries.
He also pointed out what laws worked and the laws that were fair and just to the people. He also
alluded to parts of earlier governments that demonstrated his ideas and thoughts. The views of these
two influential thinkers were considered very radical in their time because their views were radical
and very different from any form of government that anyone back then had ever heard of or dreamed
possible. They thoughts that a government run by the people would be chaotic. They had never heard
of any more separation of power than in England, where it was a limited monarchy. Their views on
people were also influential especially Locke s views. He gave people the idea that they are more than
just slaves for the government and that they should have some say in how their government is run.
These ideas and many more inspired revolutions that were sparked by these two eccentric individuals.
Locke and Montesquieu s thoughts also still ring true today. They are the basis for not only the U.S
but many other governments as well. That

The Meiji Republic
The nation of Japan lies in the North Pacific Ocean, East of the Korean Peninsula and China. Slightly
smaller than the U.S. state of California, it has a total area (land and water) of 377,915 square miles
and is divided into four primary islands: Hokkaido, Kyushu, Honshu, and Shikoku. Japan is divided
into 47 administrative divisions called prefectures. Japan was founded in 660 B.C. when Emperor
Jimmu declared Japan as a sovereign Imperial nation. Until the Meiji Restoration in 1890, Japan
operated under the Shogunate rule, which involved the rule of a hereditary dictator. The Meiji
Constitution provided a constitutional monarchy instead of pure Imperial dictatorship. The Modern
State of Japan began on May 3, 1947, which marked the formation of a new Japanese Constitution, an
amendment to the Meiji Constitution. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Its Chief of State is Emperor Akihito, son of Emperor Hirohito of World War II, and his wife, Empress

governmental power is held by the Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso, and
the Diet, which operates in a similar manner to the U.S. Congress. The Diet, known in Japan as

bringing the Partco matter to my attention. I would communicate with Dinah that I respect her strong
feelings and beliefs behind her actions regarding the Partco matter but indicate that if she felt that

I would try to have a consensus between the two of us and also suggest that we have a team meeting
within the department to address the internal friction and discuss how we can move beyond our
differences and return to a productive environment.
After considering what happened, I would have challenged Fred on the need to communicate the
change in life span of the product to the customer and suggest that we strategize on how it the
communication could be accomplished in a productive and positive manner.
2. I believe Dinah was right to believe that it was unethical to not let the customer know about the
change in life span of the product; however, I disagree with her calling the customer directly. I believe
she should have either tried to get her manager to take action on her request or go to another manager
in the company.
If I were Dinah, after talking to my manager and getting a response that he/she was not going to do
something about the matter, I would have gone to another manager in the company regarding the
issue. This would have allowed them to come up with a strategy to communicate the error to the
customer, have a plan on how they could fix the problem and keep the relationship with the customer
in tact while also not affecting the existing customer base.

Egalitarianism In The Tairo Fishmen
Helen Keller once said that The most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight but no
vision. This illustrates how important it is to have a vision. Vision is something that will push us
forward in achieving something we wish for. Without visions, we would have no motivation and spirit
to pull through tough times. Douglas Stewart has been influenced by the Australian culture and society
and it has given him insight of the Australian visions. In his poems, he explores the Australian visions
of man s bond with nature, conservation of fauna and the spirit of egalitarianism. The way Stewart
artfully conveys these ideas has also given responders a deeper understanding of Australia s nature and
its people.
First and foremost, in the poem Nesting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the poem, Stewart studies these tailor takers as they wait patiently for the fish to take the bait. He
uses an antithesis, They stand together in a fine democracy; Each keeping his place and nobody
talking too much to illustrate the tailor fishermen s silent respect towards one another. They give each
other their individual space as they see each other as equals sharing a common goal. The inclusive
language together further emphasizes the fishermen s unity. Their determination and unwavering
attitude towards their activity is shown in the simile like pillars of rock they stand. The string of nouns
name and address; Income, religion, status or nationality does not affect their attitude towards one
another. They do not discriminate one another for their difference as to them, they are all men who
fish. Stewart is astonished with their spirit of egalitarianism and says in a proud tone, I am glad to
have stood with such people in the cold wind. Hence, the composer has successfully conveyed the
significance of mutual respect practiced by Australians to the

Who Is Abigail Responsible For The Tragic Events In The...
The Crucible The tragic events in The Crucible can be linked to several different characters in the
play. Whether it is lust, greed, vengeance, or pride, almost all the characters give their fair share to the
madness. The play does include characters that add to the disarray of the town more than others.
Abigail Williams is the character that is most responsible for the chaotic happenings in The Crucible.
A major reason Abigail is most to blame is she is vengeful and jealous of others. Abigail is envious
and spiteful of Elizabeth Proctor. Abigail seeks revenge on Elizabeth for firing her as the Proctors
servant after finding out Abigail had an affair with John, Elizabeth s husband. Abigail is covetous of
Elizabeth because she wants John, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Without a leader, there is no group. Without a group, there is no group mentality; there are no shows
of spirits possessing the girls or birds attacking them. If Abigail had not led the girls to lie and fake
being witched, then they might never have acted out. Mousy Mary Warren would have never been
able to display such eccentric behavior if the girls had not displayed such behavior first. Abigail forces
the other girls to feign being witched to get others in Salem in trouble because Abigail herself is afraid
of being accused. Abigail is merely a child, afraid of being punished for wrongdoing as any child is. In
Puritan society, God is held as the highest authority and being a witch is one of the worst crimes
against God. Having committed such a high crime, Abigail acts as a kid and blames others for the
offense. Any adolescent would be beyond scared at the thought of the inevitable punishment: Witchery
s a hangin error... (Miller 837). Abigail surely is frightened, and that fright in her influences her
decision to blame those around her. Abigail s fear is what motivates her to blame others, get all the
girls to join in on her scheme, and the fear eventually leads to all the horrible events in The

Compare And Contrast Crime And Punishment In Ancient Egypt
This paper is to compare and contrast crime and punishment in the ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt
mainly from the following three perspectives: religion, the purpose of punishment and women. In
terms of religion, we can tell from the Laws of Hammurabi and the Egyptian papyri that the views of
religion were both considered to be supreme in the ancient states. But there are some differences
between the views of the religion, especially in the objective to which the people of two states
believed in respectively. In the Laws of Hammurabi, there are some examples that prove the status of
the nature, like the river, and, in some cases, the river was the symbol of justice which could prove
whether the accused were guilty or not. People believed ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

The New York City Council
A bill is a proposed legislation that is brought to a legislative body. In the case of the New York City
Council, the bill is introduced into the Council at a Stated Meeting and becomes a law after an
intricate voting or vetoing process with the Council and the Mayor of New York City ( Legislative
Process ). In the last year, many bills were passed by the New York City Council. While browsing
through the list of bills passed in the last year, a bill in particular stood out to me Reducing city
government emission of greenhouse gases by 40 percent by 2030, as it is a bill that proposes a way to
tackle climate change. The bill was dated to be on the agenda for October 15, 2015, and its co
sponsors are Donovan J. Richards, Costa G. Constantinides, Margaret S. Chin, Mathieu Eugene,
Vincent J. Gentile, Corey D. Johnson, Peter A. Koo, Rosie Mendez, Annabel Palma, Deborah L. Rose,
Andrew Cohen, and Ydanis A. Rodriguez. It proposes for the city government to have at least a 40%
reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 ( The New York City Council ).
Four months prior to the bill coming to the agenda of the New York City Council, Mayor Bill de
Blasio pledged to cut greenhouse gas emissions in New York City. He presented new targets for
greenhouse gas emissions for New York City and urged other cities to follow suit. Though he did not
directly mention the proposal of the bill to the City Council, he announced at the Vatican that the Big

The Leadership Of A Global Society

Prototype Leaders within Diversity

Leadership in a Global Society
Fall 2015
Culture was and always going to be alive, it never dies. However, today is different, culture is
spreading rapidly, and it became vital to acknowledge at least the basics of each culture. Due to
multiplicity of cultures within societies, not any leader could lead a group of followers, but only
prototype leaders who are needed to lead diverse organizations nowadays. Leadership becomes
difficult; it requires awareness of one s culture and skills to navigate within several cultures.
Immigrants migrates every day to a new country, marketing is becoming internationally advertised,
technology, media, all of these aspects changed the way life used to be seen. Today, it is
unprofessional for leaders to not acknowledge a little background of their followers, or at least to be
aware of what is their basic values. Therefore, for leaders to be successful in maintaining a good
relation with their followers in today s diverse society and in reaching success for their companies, I
believe that they must be characterized by five major qualities. Farsighted, collaborative, inspirational,
humble and respectful are the prototype qualities whom leaders must be portrayed as in a diverse
society.
Surely one of the common goals between leaders is success. And success cannot be reached in the
absence of Leaders farsightedness and wisdom. Regardless of how

Summary Of Afonso I s Letter To John III Of Portugal
One course reading that reflects the ideas and themes of the documentary is Afonso I s Letter to John
III of Portugal. In his letter, Afonso expressed his anger toward the Portuguese merchants who
overstepped their boundaries and sold his people as slaves, regardless of whether they could actually
be sold as slaves. He was also frustrated that the merchants only sought profit and sold products that
were prohibited, and, as a result, the people of Kongo bought wares from the merchants rather than
from other citizens, which hurt the economy of the country. Additionally, he emphasized his desire to
maintain a friendly trading relationship because of the importance of European goods and guns in
securing his position as king. This letter describes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In his letter, Columbus praised the land and the natives in the New World, knowing that his letter
would have likely been seen by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. He also knew that if they
approved of the colonization of the land, he would receive more funding and would get to keep ten
percent of the revenue achieved from the land. Columbus also highlighted the natives lack of
weapons, stating, They have no iron, nor steel, nor weapons, nor are they fit for them... In addition, he
claimed that they were very timid and seemed to think he was a god, meaning they were very
compliant and easy to enslave. Similarly, Guns, Germs, and Steel notes that the Spanish conquered the
Inca empire in their quest for gold and glory. It also mentions the importance of guns and steel swords
in their conquest. Furthermore, as previously mentioned, it acknowledges the enslavement of natives
in both Africa and South America. Both the letter and the documentary look at Europeans desire for
wealth through colonization and conquest. Additionally, both emphasize Europeans use of guns and
steel for advanced weapons, while those in the New World were at a disadvantage with their simpler
weapons or lack thereof. Finally, as with Afonso I s letter, both examine the ease of enslaving natives

The night watchman state is a state that has limited power of upholding law, implying that the powers
exercised by this state cannot be subjected to further reduction without eliminating the state and
institute anarchy. In the night watchman state, power is restricted to the army, prisons, the judicial
systems, and the police so as to safeguard people from theft and coercion, defend the state from
foreign aggression and punish criminals (Law 210 Week 8 notes, slide 9). Therefore, the role of this
law is to confine the country to the roles of protecting the negative rights of its citizens. This means

Pets are the best
Pets can be a man s best friend. Every new experience can make a person change; sometimes the
change is negative, other times it is positive, either way, there is no avoiding change. Animals are nice,
protective, and crazy.
In the article Travels with Charley in Search Of America, by John Steinbeck, the authors dog shows
how he is nice. This is a unique dog. He does not live by a dangerous pet, he is a nice, gently dog
(Steinbeck, pg 145, pp 2). This quote is about how nice the dog is to the owner. This animal impact the

##ciousness And Savagery In William Golding s Lord Of The...
Lord of the Flies Civilized thoughts and morals are the outcome of a highly complex neural circuit
producing chemicals such as serotonin located in the frontal lobe, temporal lobe, the parietal lobe and
the ventromedial prefrontal cortex of the brain (Morality Work in the Brain). The mix of adrenaline
and the inaccurate quantity of serotonin influences the respectable opinions of humans into vile
feelings and actions (The Moral Brain). In agonizing and traumatic situations, the behavioral ethics of
the person alter and savagery and barbarity occur. In most cases, humans changing their behavioral
viewpoint does not occur in modern day civilization. On the other hand, it does appear in detailed
novels. A prime example of this category is Lord of the Flies composed by William Golding. The
author explicitly describes the evolution of the characters decivilization using precise imagery. In
Chapter Eight of Golding s novel Lord of the Flies, the use of sensory imagery, diction, and dialogue
exemplifies the viciousness and savagery in the horrid scene. Initially in Chapter Eight, the boys
pursue a herd of pigs for nourishment on the island. The pigs are sensuously enjoying the shadows
under the trees. There was no wind and they were unsuspicious (Golding Chapter Eight). Based on
this phrase, the pigs in the novel symbolize the innocence that is embedded on the island because of
their benevolent manner. Be that as it may, Jack s obsession revolving around

Disadvantages Of Drinking Water Bottles
Littering is another problem with these bottles. When people get done using them they just throw them
on the ground, for example, if you go to a ball game and you see everyone drinking Gatorade, soda, or
water and then stay after and you will see all those bottles in the bleachers and on the field from the
players. You start to realize that know one really cares about the environment anyone. Water bottles or
just bottles in general are a big cause on the environment. Although many people do not care, littering
causes a lot of harm to the environment and not many people realize it. Even though drinking bottle
water is widely known as a good choice for your health it comes with great conflicts. Many schools all
around sell bottles of water out of vending machines, although this can be a bad thing for the
environment, but it also helps students from drinking sugary soda. Even though there are benefits to
drinking and using bottled water, there are also many drawbacks. Bottled water can be healthy, but
also just drinking from a water fountain can help yourself and the environment. Not many people want
to drink community fountains because of the germs and all the people that use them. Even though
water is a great need for humans, they normally want to go the easy way; the bottled water way. Water
fountains do have many causes of them, germs that it collects, and some even lack filtration systems.

The Scottish Play and the The Bard s Play are euphemisms for William Shakespeare s Macbeth. The
first is a reference to the play s Scottish setting, the second a reference to Shakespeare s popular

inside a theatre will cause disaster. A variation of the superstition also forbids quoting it within a

I Have The Pleasure Of Teaching Maiyuki Druen Essay
I have had the pleasure of teaching Maiyuki Druen for three years; as an 8th grader in Advanced
Geometry, as a sophomore in Math 174 Dual Credit Pre Calculus through Morehead State University,
and currently as a junior in AP Calculus. In 8th grade, Maiyuki chose to arrive at school an hour
earlier in order to take Advanced Geometry at the high school. She was by far the best student in the
class, even though she was in a class of extremely bright freshmen and sophomore high school
students. Constantly pursuing opportunities for herself, as a sophomore, she chose to take a dual credit
class designed for juniors and seniors. She requested special permission in order to take this college
level class as a sophomore, and it was granted based on her stellar academic record. She continues to
push herself academically in my AP Calculus class. She accepts the challenging problems I assign to
the class as an opportunity to further develop her understanding of the mathematics we are studying.
She often spends time analyzing the different approaches to a problem in order to determine the best
course of action, and will diligently work the solution discussing her results with her peers. Often I
will observe her having a discussion about the problem solving process with a fellow student rather
than just conferring about her solution.

Anger Management and Health Essay
Anger Management and Health
Everybody feels anger from time to time. People have been documented feeling anger since biblical
times when God was considered angry. Babies even exhibit signs that are interpreted as anger, such as
crying or screaming. Anger is not in any way unique to people. Animals also have the ability to feel
and express anger.
In our personal lives we get angry over at least one thing on almost a daily basis, whether it be on the
job, with a spouse or loved one, or perhaps with a figure of authority. Many psychologists have
written about anger, discussing the relationship between anger and fear. Each of the individuals that

The authors of When Anger Hurts: Anger in Modern
Life explain the complications that chronic anger can create. Doctors have long suspected that anger
increases the blood rate. Many scientists now point out that norepinepherine, the drug that is secreted
during anger, increases blood pressure as well. Anger and abnormally high blood pressure are
correlated; and high blood pressure leads to many forms of heart disease. In a recent study
1,623 patients were interviewed an average of four days after they had suffered a heart attack
following an outburst of anger. The study showed that the risk of suffering a heart attack is doubled
after an outburst of anger. (3) The psychologist Franz Alexander s hypothesized in 1839 that
hypertesnisves lack basic assertive skills. Psychological studies have repeatedly backed
Alexander s assertion theory ever since. (4)
High blood pressure is said to be caused by uncontrolled anger, which in turn is caused by a lack of
assertion. If we bottle up our anger now, then we will feel it later. Eventually our arteries will grow
weak and we will remain tense, living daily with treacherous moods and health. The alternative is to
shout out our anger at the world and let it manifest itself any way that it pleases. Of course, taking our

Justification Of Justification
Justification is defined as an acceptable reason for doing something in the Merriam Webster
Dictionary ( Justification ). Since the beginning of time, people have been justifying their words,
actions, and thoughts. People are taught to defend their answers or explain why they hold certain
beliefs in order to convince others to side with them. In other words, justification is the reasoning
behind a certain concept. Justification can also be used to validate or invalidate more complex ideas
such as betraying the government for freedom. One major example of justification of unjust actions
occurred at the hands of the controversial Sons of Liberty during the Revolutionary War in America
when they tried to propagate rebellion.
Originally known as The Loyal Nine, the Sons of Liberty was first established in the summer of 1765
in order to oppose the various taxations Great Britain had placed upon the colonies ( Sons of Liberty ;
Taxation and Colonial Protests ). The Sons of Liberty got their name came from a speech given in
British Parliament by Isaac Barre referring to the general populous as Sons of Liberty ( Sons of
Liberty ). However, the term Sons of Liberty could refer to anyone within this infamous group or
those who generally opposed British policies (Carp 37). This group claimed that they stood for their
rights lawfully but that was not always the case (Crompton 13). It is true that they used legal petitions,
assemblies, and propaganda, nevertheless they also used

Safe Deposit Box Essay
In the initial stages of claiming the assets, everything was going well until I found out that the
belligerent beneficiary was the new owner of the safe deposit box (the box). As described in the article
Opening the Safe Deposit Box of an Estate, the executor must follow a process to open a safe deposit
box that is part of an estate. So, as executor, I had to carry out the following tasks after the gruesome
discovery:
Call the beneficiary to inform the beneficiary that they own the safe deposit box.
Inform the beneficiary that they must be present in order to open the box.
Instruct the beneficiary to call the bank and set an appointment to open the box.
Since the key wasn t found at the estate, ask the beneficiary about the key.
While on the phone with the belligerent beneficiary, I knew the beneficiary would take this
opportunity to try and extort more property from the estate, or, try to get more involved with the
management of the estate. As the business portion of the call ended, sure enough, the conversation
switched to personal property. The beneficiary felt entitled to more property and didn t hold back
expressing that point. When I denied the request, the beneficiary threatened to sue me. As I ended ...

Trayvon Martin Case Essay
February 26, 2012 marked the day that the innocent minor, Trayvon Martin, was shot to his death in a
gated neighborhood in Sanford, Florida. The shooter, George Zimmerman, still has not faced any
serious consequence for the murder. Many people in the Sanford community, and even around the
country, believe that there is no question that Zimmerman should be convicted and sent to jail, but,
unfortunately, it is not up to the people; it is up to the justice system. With the consideration of Florida
s state laws, this is a difficult case to foresee the outcome of George Zimmerman s conviction and
prosecution. Trayvon Martin s murder occurred around 7:25 PM of February 26, 2012 on his way

Soon after, the Martin s family online petition to have Zimmerman arrested reached 877,110

2012) In George Zimmerman s defense, his father came on TV to tell the world that his son had been
wrongfully accused of bring a racist. His brother also showed up on the news claiming that there are
medical reports that show that Martin had abused Zimmerman. (CNN?) As the investigation
progressed, phone calls made by witnesses were released. One phone call stood out from the others; in
the background of the call, Martin s cry for help is heard. (ABC News, 2012) After the New Black
Panther Party started rallies against Zimmerman and proposed a $10,000 reward for his capture,
Zimmerman s father spoke out again to say that Trayvon Martin threatened to kill his son, so he pulled
the trigger in self defense. (CNN?) The state attorney on the case, Angela Corey, got appointed as
special prosecutor. Zimmerman s attorney(s) lost contact with him and stopped working the case. It
was believed then that Zimmerman had fled Florida. (Crimesider staff, 2012) On April 11, 2012,
Angela Corey announced, George Zimmerman will be charged with second degree murder for the
shooting and killing of Trayvon Martin. (CNN Wire staff, 2012) As

The Movie The Nightmare Before Christmas
Heroes have fascinated the masses for years; this is displayed in comic books, movies, and myths that
trail back farther than five thousand Before Common Era. The question that goes through all minds at
some point, however, is what makes a hero? Joseph Campbell wrote his theory of The Hero s Journey
in which he describes the path the hero will tread and the trials and tribulations ahead of them. That is
not to say that there are not multiple ways to go about a hero tale, there are various kinds of heroes,
which all change the story. There are tragic heroes, classic heroes, epic heroes, and more. In the film
The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington fits Campbell s archetype of the Hero s Journey

His fatal flaw was his ambition. He reached for unattainable goals even when all the odds were against
him, and even when he was given warnings of dire trouble he carried on. Within his text, Campbell
writes about the hero crossing the first threshold and entering a Special World. Taking this action
signifies the beginning of the journey and the hero s commitment to it. When related to Jack, the
Special World he crosses over to is Christmas Town, where he begins his journey toward making
people happy rather than scaring them. After being celebrated by the town for the best Halloween yet,
Jack sneaks off by himself toward the outskirts of the town into a twisted hill above a pumpkin patch
and graveyard, it is there he sits and ponders what he is feeling, and thus he begins singing Jack s
Lament . Within the song he sings about how others view him as terrifying and displays a few the
scare tactics he has, but the chorus of the song is what reveals the crux of his dilemma, oh, somewhere
deep inside of these bones, an emptiness began to grow, there s something out there, far from my
home, a longing that I ve never known . Jack is unhappy with the life he is leading and as a result has
become massively depressed. Zero, his ghost dog, even tries to cheer him up to no avail. This leads to
Jack wandering the forest until dawn when he stumbles upon a place he has never been to before. As a
result, he comes

Elective Caesarean Hypotension
Caesarean delivery is the method by which a baby is born through an incision in the abdominal wall
and uterus. Statistics show that 166,081 caesarean deliveries were carried out within NHS hospitals in
England during 2013/2014, of which 50% were elective. This represents a 2.5% rise over the previous
year, continuing the trend of increasing elective caesarean rates (Health Social Care Information

Typical Client Obstacles
Some of the typical obstacles that interfere with to a client s ability to access service across local
agencies are lack of child care, physical disabilities, mental health problems, limited transportation
and low literacy.
Child Care Low income families normally include children, partly because of younger family heads.
Statically lower income families include more children on average than higher income families.
Therefore, lower income families commonly face costly child care (Kimmel, 2001).
Physical Disability / Mental Health Problems Mental health and physical health are connected. Mental
health effects a person s ability to maintain proper physical health. Many mental illnesses, such as
depression and anxiety will affect people s ability to full participate in health promoting behaviors. On
the other hand, problems with physical health, such as chronic diseases, can impact mental health and
decrease a person s ability to participate in treatment and recover (Lando, Marshall Williams, Sturgis,
Williams, 2006)
Limited Transportation Most low income households are lack the fund to keep up with the increase of
transportation costs. They must come up with various ways to get from point A to point B. Low
income families must decide between driving, get a ride, taking mass transit, biking, or even walking.

Animal Shelters and the No Kill Movement
Nationally, roughly four million animals are killed in shelters every year. Of these, roughly 95% of all
shelter animals are healthy and treatable. (No Kill Advocacy Center). No animal should have to ever
be a part of these awful statistics. What will it take to help save these innocent animals from being
killed senselessly? Animal kill shelters are horrible, inhumane, and overall completely unnecessary for
multiple reasons: No Kill shelters improve adoption rates, all animals lives are valuable, and No Kill
shelters save more money than other shelters. Why Waste a Valuable Life? Killing and disposing of
animals because there is no room available for them is unnecessary and inhumane. A shelter is usually
a place where something or ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Another question that comes to mind is if No Kill animal shelters are actually the solution or not.
Some pounds will kill as many as 90% of the animals they redeem and that owners hand over. But on
the other hand countless pounds are lessening their kill rates of adoptable animals to 0% (Animals).
Death should never be the solution when it comes to the lives of these powerless animals. Why Kill
When You Can Adopt? Usually when others are given the choice between a kill shelter and a No Kill
shelter the answer is almost always the No Kill shelter. What if each animal shelter in the United
States were to swap to No Kill shelters and if all the services and programs that help run No Kill
shelters were available? Well the United States would emancipate roughly four million cats and dogs
who are scheduled to die painfully in shelters this year, and the many years to come after that. This
dream is a dream that is not completely impossible to achieve (No Kill Advocacy Center). Why are
animals given a certain time line to be adopted when animals have the same right to life just as
humans do? Many passionate people feel the same way and that kill shelters are completely
unnecessary. The ASPCA has its own program called Mission Orange. This program works with
communities to help raise the shelter save rate by 10% a year so that it can accomplish a 75% save
rate by 2010 ( Animal Shelters and the No Kill

Dante And Virgil s Punishment In Dantes Inferno
In Dante Alighieri s Inferno, Dante the pilgrim and Virgil, his guide, venture through each layer of hell
where they encounter different sinners. In the second circle of hell, they see an eternal whirlwind
tormenting the lustful sinners (Inf. 5. 31 33). It is here that Dante and Virgil encounter the star crossed
lovers, Francesca and Paolo (Inf. 5. 82 85). Dante learns that Francesca was forced into marriage but
fell in love with her brother in law, Paolo. One day, Francesca and Paolo became moved by the story
of Guinevere and Lancelot and shared a fatal kiss. Their desire for one other condemned them to hell

description of the whirlwinds and suffering that she must endure for eternity sets the sympathetic
mood for Dante and Virgil s encounter with Francesca. When Francesca speaks to Dante, the poetic
words and references to love she uses creates an overwhelming effect of sympathy. She is shown to be
a victim of love rather than lust. Dante s reaction to Francesca when he faints completes the
sympathetic effect. All these components converge and create the message that lust is easily mistaken
for love. Dante Alighieri utilizes this situation to present mankind s difficulty to understand lust from
love. Much like Francesca, mankind is driven by inner passions, becoming incapable of seeing the
reality of lust from love. Ultimately, Francesca reflects the difficulty of differing lust from love in

Summary Of Smith s Wealth Of Nations
In Smith s Wealth of Nations, he argues the existence of a natural order. Unless there is some other
human entity messing with that natural order, in the long run commodities will have a certain natural
price. Smith also argues that labor is a commodity, in that the supply of labor (population) is regulated
by demand for labor. He smoothly remarks that if supply exceeds demand, the price of labor decreases
and society then adjusts the supply of labor. Malthus, in his piece An Essay on the Principles of
Population, elaborates on this idea, explaining how much strife is due to an over supply of labor, that
is to say overpopulation. He warns against the masses and any extreme action they might take,
advocating that the poor be illuminated as to the genuine source of their wretchedness and taught to
breed less so they can enjoy higher wages. The biggest split between Smith and his intellectual
children; Malthus, Ricardo, and Sumner, more strongly in the latter two cases, is that Smith, being a
good Calvinist, included a moral compass in his natural state while the others did not. He believed that
people, rather than living in excess, would devote their excess profits as capital, reinvesting it so as to

Sumner says that the wealthy should not be forced to support the upkeep of good for nothings, that is

which they can instill character in their offspring if a man must give up his property to support the
poor, why should he save that money in the first place? Sumner also argues that in America, the
existence of civil liberty gives everyone a chance to succeed, and the ones who succeed simply have

Indians are supposed to respect all life forms on the earth. Josiah told him the story of how the
greenbottle flies are special messengers and how he should remember the story next time he thinks
about killing a fly or any animal for that matter.
Old Betonie, the medicine man, recalled a time when the white people were extremely fearful of
Indians. He said, amp;quot;I was at the World s fair in St. Louis, Missouri, the year they had

However, recently, missions are returning more and more surprising data as technology improved, and

Grey s Anatomy Observation
Grey s Anatomy is a drama medical show that has been airing on TV since 2005. The show is based
on the surgical unit of Seattle Grace Hospital. Throughout the show, we have seen characters evolve
from interns to residents to fellows and to attendings and maybe if the character is lucky, they become
head of a surgical department. Characters also develop multiple relationships with their colleagues.
Some of these relationships are appropriate for the work setting like friendships while some are
inappropriate like having a romantic relationship with a colleague. Although I love Grey s Anatomy

hospital are unrealistic. Grey s Anatomy is a wonderful ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lower ranked characters, like interns, are having romantic relationships with superior characters such
as attendings. We see this in the very first episode of the show. Meredith Grey, an intern, sleeps with
her boss so to speak, Derek Shepard, an attending. However, they hook up before knowing that either
of them work at the same hospital. In real life people would see this as sleeping with the boss to gain
special treatment such as getting to assist in more surgeries and better their education. Later in the
season, other interns find out that Meredith and Derek have had sexual encounters and they do believe
that she does it so she can assist on more surgeries. During multiple episodes characters would hook
up in the on call rooms. This is unrealistic because on call rooms are for people who need to sleep
over in case they are needed for an emergency. They are also used for people who are working a
double shift and would like to take a nap on one of their breaks. Characters in the show always seem
to find some free time to hook up in the on call rooms. Again, this is unrealistic because doctors are
always busy, especially surgeons. It is unlikely that two surgeons that like each other are going to have
a bit of free time at the same time. It is for these reasons why the sexual

Life Long Learning Is The Key Axiom Of Life
Learning is one of the greatest aspects of life. Accepting that learning from all experiences leads to the
greatest version of yourself and your ultimate accomplishments is a key axiom of life. I believe that
lifelong learning is the most important concept and skill to have. A large amount of skills that make
people successful in their professional and academic careers comes from unconventional learning
which is a major part of the lifelong learning process. Unconventional learning develops many very
practical and applicable skills that help in a variety of areas. These unconventional concepts paired
with conventional learning and the ever growing drive for knowledge is known as Life Long
Learning. Lifelong Learning is the most important concept to grasp. There are three categories of
learning that are associated with lifelong learning. They are Formal Learning , which is affiliated with
the typical brick and mortar school. Formal learning is any clearly identified learning activity that
takes place in an organized, structured setting that leads to certification (Taylor, Trumpower, and
Pavic). The next type of learning is Non Formal Learning.Non Formal Learning is learning that
usually coincides with Formal education but is not measured or certified for proficiency. An example
of this would be someone going to a public speaking convention and learning new public speaking
skills but its does not lead to certification. The last type of learning is Informal

How Did St Thomas Aquinas Influence Religion
There are many philosophical influences in religion as well as many religious influences in many
types of philosophies. Many figures in history have shaped both of these fields and contributed to
them in many ways including belief systems regarding the nature of the world, human existence, and
ethics. Many religious figures focused more on religious endeavors more than philosophical ones.
Jesus of Nazareth and Gautama Buddha are two examples of spiritual figures who have religious
followings even until this day. It should be pointed out that many people view the Buddha s teachings
as more of a philosophy instead of a religion. One figure who was influenced by religion and at the
same time, contributed many theories and ideas towards the discipline of philosophy is Saint Thomas
Aquinas. Saint Thomas Aquinas is an example of how a very religious figure/leader could reason
philosophically, generate new ideas and concepts in philosophy, and influence a religion as whole in
more ways than one. He showed that philosophy and religion can coexist to serve the same purpose,
which is understanding ourselves and truth.
Thomas Aquinas was born around 1225 in Lombardy, Italy, to the Countess of Teano. When Aquinas
was five years of age, he was sent to the monastery Montecassino to study with Benedictine monks.
Aquinas spent his time there until he was thirteen years old. As a result of major political unrest,

The Movie The Nightmare Before Christmas Heroes have fascinated the masses for years; this is displayed in comic books, movies, and myths that trail back farther than five thousand Before Common Era. The question that goes through all minds at some point, however, is what makes a hero? Joseph Campbell wrote his theory of The Hero s Journey in which he describes the path the hero will tread and the trials and tribulations ahead of them. That is not to say that there are not multiple ways to go about a hero tale, there are various kinds of heroes, which all change the story. When related to Jack, the Special World he crosses over to is Christmas Town, where he begins his journey toward making people happy rather than scaring them. After being celebrated by the town for the best Halloween yet, Jack sneaks off by himself toward the outskirts of the town into a twisted hill above a pumpkin patch and graveyard, it is there he sits and ponders what he is feeling, and thus he begins singing Jack s Lament . Within the song he sings about how others view him as terrifying and displays a few the scare tactics he has, but the chorus of the song is what reveals the crux of his dilemma, oh, somewhere deep inside of these bones, an emptiness began to grow, there s something out there, far from my home, a longing that I ve never known . Jack is unhappy with the life he is leading and as a result has become massively depressed. Zero, his ghost dog, even tries to cheer him up to no avail. Unless there is some other human entity messing with that natural order, in the long run commodities will have a certain natural price. Smith also argues that labor is a commodity, in that the supply of labor (population) is regulated by demand for labor. He smoothly remarks that if supply exceeds demand, the price of labor decreases and society then adjusts the supply of labor. Malthus, in his piece An Essay on the Principles of Population, elaborates on this idea, explaining how much strife is due to an over supply of labor, that is to say overpopulation. He warns against the masses and any extreme action they might take, advocating that the poor be illuminated as to the genuine source of their wretchedness and taught to breed less so they can enjoy higher wages. The biggest split between Smith and his intellectual children; Malthus, Ricardo, and Sumner, more strongly in the latter two cases, is that Smith, being a good Calvinist, included a moral compass in his natural state while the others did not. Many figures in history have shaped both of these fields and contributed to them in many ways including belief systems regarding the nature of the world, human existence, and ethics. Many religious figures focused more on religious endeavors more than philosophical ones. Jesus of Nazareth and Gautama Buddha are two examples of spiritual figures who have religious followings even until this day. It should be pointed out that many people view the Buddha s teachings as more of a philosophy instead of a religion. One figure who was influenced by religion and at the same time, contributed many theories and ideas towards the discipline of philosophy is Saint Thomas Aquinas. Saint Thomas Aquinas is an example of how a very religious figure/leader could reason philosophically, generate new ideas and concepts in philosophy, and influence a religion as whole in more ways than one.
