No Country For Old Men Essay
Hunting for men and meaning in the film. The film brings out the theme of moving personalities
between the hunter and the hunted. The plot takes after the ways of the three main characters Llewelyn
Moss, Anton Chigurh, and Ed Tom Bell set under way by occasions identified with a drug deal turned
sour close to the Mexican American border in remote Terrell County in southwest Texas. Moss is seen
at the start of the film hunting an antelope before stumbling on a drug deal gone sour. This is an
epitome of the subject of the entire film main subject, which portrays its characters as being hunted
and hunting. The deal has left everybody dead except a solitary seriously injured Mexican who begs
Moss for water. He looks for the last man standing and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The solution to this is to leave the nation of the youthful and go. The film tells a story that happens in
the strain amongst memory and craving, learning and instinct, nature and history, subsumed inside a
dream of eternal order. One of the subjects created in the story is the moving personality of the seeker
and the hunted. The book stresses that everybody in the film plays both roles, when seeker Llewelyn
Moss and detective Wells get to be themselves targets. The story contrasts old accounts of the Wild
West with current violations, recommending that the saints of old can, best case scenario plan to
escape from as opposed to triumph over underhandedness. Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, an aging Western
legend, epitome of an older tradition in the movie, who does not serve an underpopulated territory but
rather a developed county with new types of crimes which bewilder him. Bell, who is pulling back
from an evil which he can t comprehend or address, mirroring the film s millennial perspective with
no desire for a practical future, just the distant chance of individual separation from it

The Annual Spending On Renewable Energy
The annual spending on renewable energy by the Department of Defense (DOD) will reach $10 billion
by 2030 (Schueneman). Right now the military proves to be one of the highest consumers of
renewable energy. They are also responsible for using and burning the most fossil fuels in the entire
country. The DoD realizes this and that s why they are working so hard to become a greener military.
In order to enhance the security of the American people and to address the every changing
requirements of sustainability, the U.S. military is urgently trying to reduce its footprint on the world..
The military is constantly trying to produce cleaner power, reduce energy consumption, minimize
waste and most importantly manage water. This covers an ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A lot of military leaders where already well aware of the sustainability issues going on within the
DoD. Admiral John Nathman, USN (Ret.), former Commander of the U.S. Fleet Forces Command
under President George W. Bush, put it this way: There are serious risks to doing nothing about
climate change. We can pay now or we re going to pay a whole lot later. The U.S. has a unique
opportunity to become energy independent, protect our national security and boost our economy while
reducing our carbon footprint. We ve been a model of success for the rest of the world in the past and
now we must lead the way on climate change (Schueneman)
The military as a whole has realized that their sustainability efforts haven t been the best and they are
doing enormous amounts of work to change that. Some may argue that the DoD isn t concerned about
sustainability because the Pentagon generates five times more toxins than the five major US chemical
companies combined and is considered the single largest domestic consumer of oil (Sustainability). In
all actuality the DoD and the Pentagon is well aware of this. That is why they are pushing for these
huge sustainability changes. They know that they are a large role model and in order to change the
image of the U.S. they first need to change their own image. The Departments of the Navy, Army, and
the Air Force, are all making big changes to help with this new mission; to

Analysis Of Porosity And Temperature By Qinwu Xu
Porosity and Temperature By Qinwu Xu, October 17, 2016 Introduction Metal primarily exhibits
plastic and ductile behaviors in the cutting process in which its behavior is often assumed to be
isotropic and homogeneous [1]. The large deformation and unconstrained plastic flow nature of
machining metals can be modeled with an unstructured tetrahedral mesh, allowing for the adaptive
local refinement and coarsening to alleviate mesh distortions, maintain simulation accuracy and
reasonable computational performance. However, modeling of ceramic matrix composites could be
much more complex due to the unique feature of this type of material: 1) the fracture and brittle
behavior of materials; and b) the nonuniform distribution of porosity in the ceramic matrix. CMCs are
comprised of individual layers with unique material properties dependent on fiber orientation within
the polymer matrix which is typically in a woven pattern. Therefore, CMCs often exhibit anisotropic
or orthotropic properties, and have lower strains and higher degrees of fragmentations than metallic
materials during machining. The unique features of CMCs make simulations more challenging due to
the complex nature of the problem considering material nonlinear fracture, anisotropic or orthotropic
property and multi phase interaction apart from dynamic loading and plastic deformation in machining
of metals. Different modeling approaches have been studied for modeling the machining of
composites and CMCs, including

Factors Affecting Nigerias Underdevelopment
According to an economist the idea of development is a situation whereby there is an increase in a
nations GNP and GDP, leading to an increase in growth .but to a sociologist this is a surface definition
as development or rather a country is regarded as developed when such increase is affecting the living
condition of its people even to the smallest group in the society. Where we don t only calculate
numbers and figures and structures but can see the positive change of things in the life of the people,
both the rich, average and poor. Then such a society would be regarded as developed. For example the
living conditions of the USA.

Neo colonialism or imperialism
This is an external factor of Nigeria s underdevelopment; it is the highest form of exploitation from
the British countries to their colonies after independence. Nigeria has contributed to its economic
backwardness, as it promotes the maintenance of foreign domination and enhances neo colonialism
and the flowering of subjugationism (onimode, 1981). Imperialism has always been an exploitative
phenomenon, which was the initial motive for colonization. Nigeria has been seen as a dumping
ground for most British counties, making it difficult for us to produce our own goods. Also the fact
that we are primary producers with fewer technicalities to produce our raw materials into finished
products makes it a means of imperialism as we export our goods at the rate determined by the British
colonies and still import back at a higher cost. For example the crude oil, Nigeria is the largest country
with the crude oil but the poorest in economic state due lack of technicality in transforming crude oil
into petrol which led to the issue of sucidy removal in January 1st 2012, even after which things haven
t changed as fuel scarcity hits most part of the country e.g. Abuja, Lagos etc. as at 19th September
2012.

Heroic Characters in The Lord of the Rings Saga Essay
Throughout literary history, heroes are usually described as being good looking and tall. People who
are categorized as heroes need to have a distinguished courage and heroes are often rewarded for their
courageous and noble acts. A hero needs to be liked by the inhabitants of his or her country because he
or she committed a heroic act such saving a child who has fallen into a well. In many books, the
character with all of the heroic qualities is often the main character. Although some characters from
the Lord of the Rings saga perfectly fit this description like Aragorn and Boromir, most heroic
characters in this novel are quite unlikely. Frodo and his friends are unusual creatures called Halfling,
more popularly called Hobbits. Before ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
After having smoked and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the shire, they go back inside for a second
breakfast. Their relaxed habits and loose physical shapes make them unlikely for an adventure of such
stature. It is quite obvious that Hobbits are quiet, relaxed and clam people which makes the reader
wonder how? and why? a Hobbit would participate in such journey. Well, for all of the things that
Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin have been through, any reader can see that these Hobbits have good
spirits, great courage and strength. Frodo was not like Bilbo he did not want to go on an adventure, he
really wanted to stay home. But since Gandalf was one of Frodo s good friends, Frodo decided to take
the ring for Gandalf even though he knew of its perils. Throughout the novel, Frodo shows an
immense sense of courage. For instance, when the kings of death, Nazgul, were following Frodo and
his friends, Frodo knew that he was outnumbered and physically outmatched, but he still kept on
going. Also, one of Frodo s best friends and also his gardener was Samwise Gamgee. Samwise was a
strange and funny Hobbit and the son of the old Gaffer. Since Sam was a gardener for Frodo he was
often around the house. One day, Sam overheard a conversation between Gandalf and Frodo. They
were talking about rings, kings and Dark Lords. Gandalf caught Samwise and made him Frodo s

Importance Of Freedom To Bear Arms
How often do you think about your individual right as a citizen? Sometimes people do have to give up
their individual freedoms, but to me we all should be able to keep those freedoms. It s our right to
have our freedom of speech and freedom to bear arms. I am going to start with freedom of speech.
Many people express their freedom to speak everyday. With all that is happening right now in the
world freedom of speech is used a lot. And people are wanting to take that right away from those
people. They are able to do what they are doing. Weather someone thinks it s right or not.
Now on to freedom to bear arms. I am one who thinks people should be able to bear arms. It is
sometime bad but people use the arms to protect and feed their families.

Women s Rights in the 19th Century and Now Essay
It would be a huge understatement to say that many things have changed when it comes to women s
rights, positions, and roles in our society today since the 19th century. Actually, very few similarities
remain. Certain family values, such as specific aspects of domesticity and performance of family
duties are amongst the only similarities still present. Victorian women had several hardships to
overcome. Education, marriage, leisure, and travel amongst other things were limited and controlled.
A woman was never to travel if not in the company of her parents or husband. Leisure, for example,
was limited and a woman always had to look busy and find something to do. They did not have the
right to vote, sue or own any property. Their bodies ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This resulted in her share of criticism from the media and her readers. In a time when it was expected
of a woman to behave a certain way and sexual desire was considered something only experienced by
men, Kate Chopin spoke with exceptional openness about human sexuality. She then criticized society
for its close mindedness. She helped to generate enlightened attitudes among both the women and men
of her time. By not only admitting the fact that a woman has strong sexual desires, but also glorifying
it, Chopin opened doors to better communication and understanding between men and women as a
result of The Storm.
This has changed significantly since the 19th century. Sex, amongst others, is no longer taboo to
women and it has become a much more liberated subject. It is encouraged and accepted in today s
society that a woman enjoys sexual pleasures outside the restraints of only pregnancy, even marriage.
Women in the Victorian era had very little to say when it came to marriage. Usually, the parents of the
woman would make the choice for her as to whom she would marry based on a man s social status. It
was not odd for a 15 year old girl to wed, unlike in today s society. Parents would usually look for a
man who was wealthy enough to help the woman advance in her life, since women were mostly
uneducated and only taught to be homemakers and mothers and not work. Women were dealt with as
if they were objects, and

Essay about The Voice of the Sea in The Awakening
The Voice of the Sea in The Awakening
Many different symbols were utilized in Kate Chopin s The Awakening to illustrate the underlying
themes and internal conflict of the characters. One constant and re emerging symbol is the sea.
The voice of the sea is seductive, never ceasing, whispering, clamoring, murmuring, inviting the soul
to wander for a spell in abysses of solitude; to lose itself in mazes of inward contemplation. The voice
of the sea speaks to the soul. The touch of the sea is sensuous, enfolding the body in its soft, close
embrace (Chopin 25).

This rebirth takes her back to a time of innocence and curiosity that allows her to explore life through
new eyes. Edna is filled with swelling emotions and reveals Sometimes I feel this summer as if I were
walking through the green meadow again. Idly, aimlessly, unthinking, and unguided (Chopin 30).
Edna s recollection of this event allows her to more clearly recognize her internal turmoil.
The link between Edna s awakening and the ocean becomes even clearer when after several attempts
she finally learns to swim. The first time she ventures out into the ocean alone is the first step toward
her independence. She panics when she realizes how far she has gone alone and fears drowning. This
incident represents Edna gaining control over her body and becoming more aware of her full potential.
The ocean helps her recognize that her body is her own and she awakens to her physical, mental, and
emotional capabilities. But that night she was like the little tottering, stumbling, clutching child, who
of a sudden realizes its powers, and walks for the first time alone, boldly and with overconfidence.
(Chopin 47). Edna s sudden terror in the middle of the ocean signifies that she may not be able to
venture out as far as she wants to and may have to turn back. She wanted to swim far out, where no
woman had swum before...A quick

The Dangers Of Alcohol Abuse
Many are unaware of the dangers alcohol causes because it is sold and distributed legally in the United
States, when in reality alcohol kills many people every year. Alcohol is ranked the third highest
reasoning of early teenage death, beating out high blood pressure, illegal drugs, and unsafe water ( 2.5
Million Alcohol Related Deaths ). The sensation of euphoria is a haze while on alcohol, which many
try to achieve, unaware of the effects that may haunt them long after that feeling is gone. The number
of people that consume alcohol on a weekly basis is astounding, 66% of people say that they consume
over four drinks a week. Twelve percent of the people asked say they consumed over eight drinks in
the past week ( Majority in U.S. Drink ). On average there is 1.4 million people arrested a year for
drunk driving. As people are under the influence of alcohol, they are 40% more likely to be apart of a
violent act (Alcohol Abuse Stats ). In the United States, approximately 15 million people are
dependent on alcohol ( Alcoholism Statistics ). In 2013, about 8.4 million people live in New York
City, almost half of how many people have a dependency on alcohol ( New York QuickFacts ) . The

An Essential Cellular Communication Process Of...
IIntracellular trafficking is an essential cellular communication process in which membrane vesicles
carrying lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids are taken up and transported through endosomes to
lysosomes (termed endocytosis) and vesicles carrying macromolecules are delivered to the plasma
membrane and outside of the cell (exocytosis) [1]. Uptake of external particles through endocytosis is
required for prolific growth and differentiation. For example, uptake of transferrin provides iron
necessary for growth and parasitism of the parasite Plasmodium falciparum [2]. In contrast, the
synaptic release of neurotransmitters, including dopamine and serotonin exemplifies exocytosis. In the

Pan1 homologs were identified from Candida species and Magnaporthe oryzae (Mo), but not Cn,
indicating that Pan1 mediated endocytic trafficking is not universal among fungi ([13], ZG Zhang and

Cn is an encapsulated basidiomycetous fungus that infects both immunocompromised and healthy
individuals to cause life threatening meningoencephalitis [14]. Cn produces virulence factors
including melanin, the polysaccharide capsule, and extracellular ureases and phospholipases [15 17].
Previous studies showed that secretory transport is important for virulence [18] and that Cn has
proteins with conserved specific functions in exocytosis, such as Sav1, Sec6, and Sec14 [19 21].
Previously, we identified cryptococcal intersectin 1 (Cin1) as a novel endocytic adaptor protein that is
important not only in intracellular transport but also in growth and virulence [22]. Cin1 contains
multiple domains including one EH domain, one CC region, an actin monomer binding WH2 domain,
two SH3 motifs, and a RhoGEF PH domain. Also, the Cin1 domain structure shares more similarity
with mammalian ITSN1 than Sc Pan1 (Fig. 1). Further studies suggested that Cin1 functions upstream
of Wsp1, a GTPase binding domain (GBD) containing Wiskott Aldrich Syndrome protein (WASp)
homolog and a Rho family GTPase, Cdc42, to regulate actin

How Failure Is Failure
Failure is an option Every successful entrepreneur must be have this traits which is failure is an option

stepping stone to success. Do not means that everybody is set out to fail, but we should realize the

A Critical Analysis Of Technological Disruption Essay
A Critical Analysis of Technological Disruption in the Book Industry In the last decade, content
industries have experienced massive technological disruption. From streaming services such as Netflix
and Spotify to online newspaper subscriptions and e readers, technology has forced these industries to
experiment with different models and adapt to consumers changing expectations. The United States
publishing industry is worth about 27 billion dollars with over 1 million books published in 2009

Stop and Frisk final outline
Prof: Maule Brian
Introduction:
There has always been tension raised between maintaining a safe society and observing by the
constitutional rights of its citizens. The New York City aggressive program of Stop and Frisk have
been widely criticized and considered unconstitutional. However, Stop and Frisk, per se is not
unconstitutional unless people are being stopped illegally. It s a crime prevention tool that allows
police officers to stop a person based on reasonable suspicion of criminal activity and to conduct a
frisk based on reasonable suspicion that the person is armed. Some argue this policy was created to
target minorities. Most of the people who have been stopped and frisked under this program have been
African American or Hispanic. This concerns citizens and makes them oppose the policy because they
believe its racial profiling and guided by color. Stop and frisk is now one of the biggest controversies
in United States. It has become something that is affecting society in both a positive and negative way.

Is or isn t stop and frisk an efficient strategy?
What is the problem with effectiveness argument? Should the New York City Police department

Temecula is a large city of 106,780 people. That is a lot bigger than what I am use to, Ste.Genevieve,
Missouri there is only 4,405 people. That is not a lot compared to Temecula California. This city has

Old Town Temecula is going to blow your mind.

monthly expenses. Throw out the budget that carried you through the last few years; it s time to build
a new one from scratch. Once you have a new budget, start saving like you plan to buy a second house
in a few years. You re going to need all that extra cash for things for which no budget can truly prepare
you, such as repairs, renovations, and interior design necessarily in that order. Repairs come first
because you need to fix whatever is broken. Did you get a great deal on a handyman s dream? Did you
stop to consider whether or not you re handy? Also, don t forget that appliances, heaters, furnaces, and
oil tanks have a habit of breaking down at the least convenient times, schedules and finances
notwithstanding. Before you even think about redecorating your new house, take a hard look at the
layout.

Karl Popper And The Scientific Method
Karl Popper is commonly regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of science in the 20th Century.
He is well known for his rejection of the inductivist viewpoint of the scientific method, in which one
uses observation to propose a law to generalize an observed pattern, and later confirm that law through
more observation. Popper states that induction cannot be logically justified (Popper 14). Inductivism
relies on the process of inductive reasoning which is a logical process in which multiple premises, all
thought to be true and found to be true most of the time, are combined to obtain a conclusion and in
many cases formulate a law or theory. Popper rejected the inductivist viewpoint in favor of a theory
called empirical falsification which holds that a theory can never be proven, but it can be falsified, and
therefore it can and needs to be scrutinized through experimentation.
In his work Conjectures and Refutations, Popper discussed several aspects of induction including the
topics of conjectures (opinions or conclusions formed on the basis of incomplete information) or
tentative theories and refutations (ways to refute an argument, opinion, testimony, doctrine, or theory,
through contradicting evidence) or the acts of disproving arguments through counterexamples
(Oxford).
Popper opines that a significant problem with the scientific method is that scientists get so caught up
in evidence that supports a specific conjecture that they either 1) fail to consider

Bobbie Ann Mason Research Paper
Southern writer Bobbie Ann Mason was born on May 1, 1940 in Mayfield, Kentucky to her parents
Wilburn and Christina Mason along with her four other siblings. It was when she was still a child that
her interest in writing emerged and she began writing stories influenced by children s mystery novels
(Bobbie Ann Mason). These works would continue to influence her writing even in her later years.
Bobbie Ann Mason is still alive today, and is approaching her older years of life, but she still publishes
work, and travels around doing book reading and signings (Bobbie Ann Mason). Her entire life has
been dedicated to writing, she attended school for it, pursued a teaching career in it, and dedicated
herself full time as a writer (Bobbie Ann Mason). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In her criticism of Mason and comparison of these three stylistically different writers, she is quoted on
an important aspect of the meaning of their, and especially Mason s, stories, Why do we read novels
and short stories? For pleasure; for instruction; for the solace of seeing others in familiar dilemmas;
for the opportunity to see what is unfamiliar, perhaps strange; for hope. These writers, in different
ways, satisfy these requirements. (Becker). Not only does she raise incredible praise for these writers,
she also gives us an opportunity to see how Mason s writing fits into the other writers of her time. She
shows us what the purpose of the short story is in Mason s world, for hope (Becker). Mason in
particular inspires this hope because although she is introducing her readers to the characters of rural
Kentucky, change is something that, on some level, every reader can relate to and understand
(Becker). This idea of understanding can even be compared and seen throughout the criticisms of
character presentation by Michiko Kakutani, who has an appreciation for the way she lays out her
characters to her audience, and the commentary by Robert Newman on how she relates to her readers
through her characters. The way these two appreciate Bobbie Ann Mason s character development is
the same way that Robin Becker appreciates how she presents the story itself to her

United States Should Increase The Visa Cap
The H 1B visa, originally created to streamline admissions of temporary foreign workers to the United
States, has become a topic of much debate between the foes of immigration and the information
technology (IT) industry. The debate is focused on whether to increase the visa cap in order to
alleviate what the industry describes as a shortage of IT labor. This argument, however, obscures the
fundamental flaw of the H 1B program that deserves a more prudent examination. The current H 1B
visa program is plagued with inefficiencies that privilege the IT industry at the expense of both visa
holders and domestic IT workers alike. The H 1B program needs a complete overhaul, and should
include a mechanism to ensure that both employers and employees abide by free market forces.
Increasing the current visa cap will only amplify current inefficiencies of the H 1B visa program.
Alternatively, allowing visa holders the ability to access a greater range of employment opportunities
increases the holder s incentive to make economic contributions. The industry s ability to hire globally
must be balance by workers rights to seek out more competitive opportunities. Current mobility
restrictions of the H 1B program are preventing valuable workers from seeking the most valuable
opportunities, ultimately leading to a misallocation of foreign labor. H 1B visa reform that includes a
role for labor mobility will not only introduce market forces into the bigoted program, but will also

Implications Of Economic Globalization
Economic globalisation is a multi dimensional process based on the continuous integration between
domestic economies along with the increased impacts of international influences on all aspects of
economic activity and general life. The process of globalisation is extensively characterised by:
An acceptance of a set of economic agreements by the entire consolidated world economy, designed to
maximise profits and productivity by universalising markets and production, and to obtain the support
of a nation with a view to its economy becoming more productive and competitive (R. Urzua, 2000).
technological innovation and organisational change centred on flexibilisation and adaptability; the
expansion of a specific form of social organisation based on information as the main source of
productivity and power. (R. Urzua, 2000)
And primarily comprises the globalization of production, finance, markets, technology, organizational
regimes, institutions, corporations, and labour (James et al., vols. 1 4 2007).
While economic globalization has been expanding since the emergence of transnational trade, it has
grown at an increased rate due to an increase in communication and technological advances under the
framework of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) and World Trade Organization
(WTO), establishing the gradual decline in trade barriers. (Gao 2000) This recent boom in economic
integration has been largely supported by developed economies integrating with

Racial Inequalities And Racial Inequality
Since America s beginning, race based barriers have mired the fulfillment of our shared principles and
many of these barriers still persist today. The institutionalized inequalities are detrimental on an
individual basis as well a societal basis. Racism does not only affect the individuals that are being
oppressed but also how society functions as a whole. Racial inequalities have manifested in American
society in ways that underlies a wide range of societal domains such as housing patterns, educational
opportunities, healthcare inequality, and incarceration rates. Current events and experiences
demonstrate moreover that racial inequality is still adamant in the American culture. Long after
slavery, the Jim Crow Era, and the civil rights movement, racial inequality has taken distinctive forms
which affect many people within a racially oppressed group. Racial segregation at large is embedded
within a structural matrix that not only permeates in the American culture but in our private and public
institutions. Disparities in the criminal justice system and housing patterns remain a key barrier to
racial equality in America. In order to eradicate racial inequality, there needs to be policy solutions
that place fundamental changes to a system with profound historical origins, one that structurally
disadvantages minority groups. The criminal justice system s high volume of contact with people of
color is a major cause of broader perceptions of injustice in many communities.

Pogroms Of 1881 Analysis
For many years, it was widely accepted that the Russian pogroms of 1881 were organized attacks
towards the Jews spearheaded by the Russian government. This conspiracy theory was created by
historians of the time. Historians living during the time of these disastrous heinous pogroms looked
for an instigating hand behind the pogroms. In May of 1881, L. Schloss in a meeting of the Anglo
Jewish association stated it was impossible that outrages could take place, and last in some instances
more than 24 hours, in a country which bristled so with police and soldiery as Russia, without the
authorities winked at them for their own purposes (Klier 384). The Levin Memorandum in 1882
summed up the conspiracy theory. Levin said what the contemporary ... Show more content on

Klier supports the theory that the 1881 pogroms were an ethnic riot. He writes, ethnic identity creates
boundaries and divisions between us and the other (p. 79). In Eastern Europe, Jews were not only
different based on their religion, they were different in their entirety. They wore different clothes, had
different occupations, lived in different areas, spoke different languages, and followed different
holidays. In the years prior to the pogroms, there was a true dislike of the Jews by the government and
the people. The Jews were treated as a separate class, a different people. Klier discusses the anti
jewish policies of Tsar Nicholas I and then the liberalization of some of these policies under Tsar
Alexander II. The new policies by Tsar Alexander II actually led to increased debate over the Jewish
question and increased Judeophobia. By 1881, the differences between the Jews and non Jews were
accentuated not only by government legislation, but also by economics as some Jews were starting to
flouish, rumors, and newspapers. The ultimate transgression that led to the pogroms was the rumor
that it was the Jews that murdered the Tsar! In the first pogrom of 1881 in Elisavetgrad, the incident
that triggered the start of the pogrom was a brawl in a tavern that started the shouts, The Jews are

Research Paper On T-Mobile Hacking
Nothing in this world is limitless not even T Mobile s unlimited data plan. On Monday T Mobile CEO
John Legere went on Twitter and announced that the company would be banning 1/100 percent of its
users that Legere believes is abusing their unlimited data plans.
THE ABUSERS
Legere said this ban would only affect an extremely small number of T Mobile subscribers, and that
the abuse was mostly coming from users who were taking advantage of the company s tethering
feature. Tethering is a feature that let s people use their phones like hotspots: emitting data out to other
wireless devices like a tablet or a laptop. This let s the abusers essentially have a free home network so
they don t need to pay for additional internet packages through an internet service provider (ISP). ...

They are hacking the system to swipe high speed tethered data, wrote Legere in a recent blog post on
the subject. These aren t naive amateurs; they are clever hackers who are willfully stealing for their
own selfish gain.
HOW THEY RE PULLING IT OFF
Now, to be upfront, T Mobile gives users a monthly allowance of data that can be tethered. That s
usually around five gigabytes of data, which is plenty for most people. You can get a lot accomplished
on a laptop over the course of a month and never even come near that amount of data... at least, not
until you start streaming media content.
These hackers are using the tethering feature to use up to two terabytes in some cases, which is well
over the allotted amount. Typically, once a user reaches their limit then T Mobile will throttle their
data, which means their download and upload speeds will see a pretty noticeable decrease. In order to
circumvent this, the hackers are using apps that allow them to hide their usage from T Mobile, so the
company never actually sees how much data is being used by the user.

Glorification Of Nature In Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
The power and glorification of nature and how it can be a spiritual source of renewal for individuals is
highlighted through the works of artists of the Romantic period. Rime of the Ancient Mariner by
Samuel Coleridge and Blueback by Tim Winton both display the influences that nature can have on an
individual, spiritually and emotionally, and presents a clearer understanding of the natural world.
The poem by Samuel Coleridge, Rime of the Ancient Mariner depicts a strong belief and interest in
nature and how the natural world can be a place where God can be found. The contrast between the
language of the quotes slimy things and O happy living things demonstrates this change in perspective
as the narrator realises the beauty of nature. During his punishment, the Mariner was able to see the
real beauty of nature and as a result, he had the ability to rejoice and pray about what he was seeing.
By recognising the elegance in the environment that surrounded him, it enabled the Mariner to be free
from his imprisonment. Like the belief in God, the Mariner first feared but finally loved the natural
elements of the world. Throughout the journey, the wonder and beauty of nature and how it can be a
spiritual finding is brought into focus.
Through the use of a metaphor in the quote As if it had been a Christian soul, we hailed it in God s
name. it reveals that the albatross was seen as a connection to God. The albatross was seen as a good
omen and it was the first sign of life

Some of the other reasons why lactobacillus plantarum 229v is used is that because it is a gram

Although lactobacillus plantarum cost are higher this certain strain of lactobacillus is specifically

Some benefits can also benefit the product itself. Like many other lactic acid bacteria lactobacillus

effect of giving it a crude rancid taste and smell in juices with a sour taste like orange, black current,

the lactobacillus plantarum uses the lactic acid to control competing microorganism this affects the

Scrubs In My Old Lady
The early 2000s was a prime time for hospital centered television shows were aired. House and Grey s

the show often takes on dark thematics from time to time. Scrubs is the best hospital television show
to have been aired because of the scenes that reflected the reality of hospitals, the soundtrack, and the
genius improve the cast used to liven up scenes. In the fourth episode of the series, My Old Lady , the
main character, JD, is told by his patient who is an old woman, that she is ready to die. In that

Neolithic Agriculture Benefits
Agriculture is one of the key factors that shape your everyday life. Your time, money, nutrition, and
life is dependent on agriculture. Food can be gathered by either hunting for it or producing it,
however, which method is healthier for human civilization? Some people believe that producing foods
and domesticating animals (agriculture in Neolithic Revolution) is more beneficial to humans.
However, the reasonings for which hunting and gathering is healthier overall are abundant. Hunting
and gathering (way of getting food in the Paleolithic Era) supplies a better and more varied amount of
nutrients, less vulnerability to famine and disease, and good leisure time with less work. Progressivists
(those who believe in the benefits of agriculture) say that agriculture was more beneficial due to the
fact that you could get more food for less work. The problem was that farming did not ... Show more

Those perks offered vast culture, better hospitality, more farms and more produce. However, as
hunting and gathering consists of many different food sources rather than just farming a lot of select
foods, relying only on select produced food leaves you more vulnerable to famine and disease. The
reasoning behind this is if your crops fail, then you probably won t have another source of food
because most farmers did not have the skillsets or physical ability for hunting and gathering. An
example of a catastrophic outcome with producing food could be the Great Famine in Ireland, where
potatoes became infested and became unable to eat which triggered the famine due to farmers being so
dependent on potatoes. As previously stated, farming brings more people together in certain areas.
With having a higher population, disease is common due to the ease of spread. The risks that farming
takes is too deadly and dependent compared to hunting as it mostly depends on

Quantitative Thinking In The Workplace
Part 1
Significance of quantitative thinking in work place
For accountability measures, an individual is necessitated to acquire quantitative thinking. This a good
process that helps in decision making when dealing with critical issues in workplaces for it; helps one
to interpret the models that deal with mathematics like tables, formulas, schemes, graphs and they help
to draw inferences from the models, it helps a quant to realize that there is a limit with mathematical
methods as well statistical methods and it provides several ways to solve the problems like geometric,

most time, misinterpretation of statistical data causes wrong results (Blanche, 2011). Some of data
(statistic data) may be biased in relation to opinion despite the misconception that statistics displays a
true measure regarding certain research. Not all the statistical numerals that the person analyzing data
can be able to notice, lack of further explanation can lead to misinterpretation of data thus wrong
decision making. Also bad sampling can too lead to misinterpretation of data for most samples assume
that the whole population possesses the same characteristics as the sample. At the other hand use of
definitional terms that are not in relation to the information being used can lead too to
misinterpretation of statistical data. This has been seen most in elections where there is miscounted
statistical data that results to false election.

Ed Gein Film Analysis
In 1956, serial killer Ed Gein was arrested in his Wisconsin home. The quiet hermit was found to be in
possession of various items made out of human skin, shrunken heads, even soup bowls that were made
from human skulls. It was determined that he lived alone because of his family s untimely demise, his
father died in the late 40 s and his mother died in the 50 s. After their deaths, Gein went insane and
turned into a human butcher. Even though, he was only guilty of murdering two women, he also
confessed to be a serial grave robber that would dig up and carve up the bodies he exhumed. Gein
even went as far making a human skin costume and would wear it, posing as the opposite sex. Living

Customer Service and Relationship Marketing
Customer Service
Customer service is an art and a science and it is something that many firms do not do well, let alone
perfect. Excellent customer service is defined by being pleasant with the customer and providing them
with assistance regarding just about anything and everything that they require and need relative to the
service or good that they are purchasing. A customer is any buyer or even potential buyer of the good
or service being and the customers need and/or expect that the good or service be reasonably price and
be delivered as promised based on what is advertised and/or what is commonly accepted and industry
standard about the good or service. The best way to build a customer focused strategy is to construct a
framework and process that is as common sense and stream lined as possible so that it addresses the
ongoing concerns of the business while at the same time reasonably helping and assisting the
customers get what they need out of the good or service. Going above and beyond what the customer
requires is always a plus and will engender good will and return visits by the customer, more often
than not (Swinburn, 2006)(Sheldrake, 1998)(Shaw Ivins, 2005).

Analysis Of The Poem The Angel Of The House
The Angel in the House
During the Victorian Era in 1837 the period that was ruled by Queen Victoria I, women endured many
social disadvantages by living in a world entirely dominated by men. Around that time most women
had to be innocent, virtuous, dutiful and be ignorant of intellectual opinion. It was also a time
associated with prudishness and repression. Their sole window on the world would, of course, be her
husband. During this important era, the idea of the Angel in the House was developed by Coventry
Patmore and used to describe the ideal women who men longed. Throughout this period, women were
treated inferior to men and were destined to be the husbands Angel in the House .
The poem Coventry Patmore is written from the husband s point of view; Patmore even praises
women throughout the poem. His praise for women only relates to his ability to benefit men. Women
are part of the poem but she is not there to be heard. The reader is meant to see her through her
husband s eyes. Patmore considers women inferior to men and stated that their only purpose is to aid
their husbands. Yet, Patmore holds his angel wife up as a model for all women. Their objectification of
women was customary for extraordinarily complex age and is a consistent theme in Victorian poetry.
Education was not equal between the sexes and neither between the classes. Gentlemen were educated

alabama passed one of the most harsh pieces of anti immigrant legislation in the country and most
immigrants left. The abandoned trailer park invokes a feeling of sadness knowing that it was once
populated with immigrant workers. Another utilization of pathos is an interview with a resident of the
virtually abandoned trailer park who states, Many of them[Latino immigrants] left because cops were
gonna have the power to pull people over just because they were brown (VICE). This is an effective
piece of rhetoric because it evokes sympathy. In conclusion, VICE s Sweet Home Alabama is an
effective piece of rhetoric because it successfully uses rhetorical appeals to inform viewers of the way
House Bill 56 has affected Alabama. They provide a plethora of interviews ranging from government
officials, a local police

Was Silvio the right choice to head the India operation?
In my opinion, I do not think that was the right choice. Even though India s growth potential was
significant, there are several reasons why I think so. First of all, Exchange rates and unforeseen duties
further frustrated market development efforts. When it comes to international business those risks
always would be cause of challenge. For example Japanese lumber company in Canada decreased
their sales from last year because of change of currency rate of Japanese yen and Canada dollar.
Making the transferred sub assemblies even more expensive was the fact that there were exchange rate
fluctuations favoring Indian currencies. Second, Schindler s manufacturing cost structures were ...

Meet Silvio Napoli
After having taught this case study for four years and having gone through thorough discussion and
analysis of its points, I decided in preparing for a recent class to cut through all the conjecture and get
right to the source to see what really happened. I called Silvio Napoli. He graciously gave me fifteen
minutes of one of his busy mornings.
We went over the case s more glaring lessons quickly, and then Silvio provided some great insights
into lessons he learned trying to create a subsidiary for Schindler in India. Here are his take aways:
A swatch strategy of low cost market entry was the wrong choice. In the case study much is said about
how Schindler s CEO was fascinated with the success of low end, mass produced Swatch watches a
90 s phenomenon more than one General Manager of Manufacturing Operations strove to emulate this
low end production strategy.
Schindler s manufacturing cost structures were compatible with customization, not commoditization.
Silvio said that was one of the biggest challenges he faced as getting transfer costs for elevators to a
price point internally where building elevators made sense. The case study

Comparing Hosseini And Sophocles
Next, both Hosseini and Sophocles used the theme to fascinate the readers. Amir s choice ultimately
caused him nothing but tragedy, for his friendship with Hassan is fading and his lust for punishment
has led him to hit him [Hassan] with [a] pomegranate , so that in turn Hassan would punish him, so
that he may finally sleep at night , yet Amir s selfishness still overpowers his life, which magnifies the
reader s interest (Hosseini 92). Amir s need to destroy himself is not only heartrending but painful. His
need at self destruction absorbs the reader s full attention and makes them crave more. Sophocles used
the theme for the exact same purpose, yet he wanted to emphasize it for greater interest. Oedipus s
choice to discover his birth has

Flue Gas Treatment Case Study
Flue gas treatment
Leung et. al. (2014) posit that post combustion capture methods are easily applicable for retrofitting
existing plants, and require simply that carbon dioxide be isolated from flue gas generated by fossil
fuel burning. However, due to the low concentrations of CO2 in flue gas, the system efficiency is poor
and it must be operational for long periods of time until CO2 receptacles are filled. This incurs
heightened operation costs for maintaining the functioning machinery. Oxyfuel combustion
techniques, while less easily installed at traditional burning plants and thus in use only at commercial
demonstration plants, can capture carbon at much higher efficiencies by burning fuel in oxygen as
opposed to air. However the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Moreover, the liquid compound can degrade as a result of the process, and the possible environmental
impacts of this issue are not yet known. A widely used industrial method of CO2 recovery, cryogenic
distillation, where the flue gas would have to be cooled to a liquid state and the CO2 selectively boiled
off, is incredibly energy intensive. A number of other technologies are under development, including
hydrate based separation where CO2 is forced into water at high pressures; this is a highly promising
method, as it expends very little energy, but is far from implementation (Leung et al., 2014). Use and
Storage
Following separation, Leung et. al. (2014) explain, the carbon dioxide can be transported away from
the plant in high pressure pipes or railroad tankers, and can either be utilized by other processes or
stored. The former option, which involves re use of the gas in food and chemical industries, can make
the captured CO2 highly useful, and the emissions from these utilization processes only account for
2% of overall emissions, meaning that the captured CO2 will not simply be released back into the
atmosphere. Storage options, however, still need to be considered in order to remove the vast majority
of captured CO2 from circulation, the most popular being storage in nearly depleted oil or natural gas
reservoirs, unmineable

  • 2. No Country For Old Men Essay Hunting for men and meaning in the film. The film brings out the theme of moving personalities between the hunter and the hunted. The plot takes after the ways of the three main characters Llewelyn Moss, Anton Chigurh, and Ed Tom Bell set under way by occasions identified with a drug deal turned sour close to the Mexican American border in remote Terrell County in southwest Texas. Moss is seen at the start of the film hunting an antelope before stumbling on a drug deal gone sour. This is an epitome of the subject of the entire film main subject, which portrays its characters as being hunted and hunting. The deal has left everybody dead except a solitary seriously injured Mexican who begs Moss for water. He looks for the last man standing and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The solution to this is to leave the nation of the youthful and go. The film tells a story that happens in the strain amongst memory and craving, learning and instinct, nature and history, subsumed inside a dream of eternal order. One of the subjects created in the story is the moving personality of the seeker and the hunted. The book stresses that everybody in the film plays both roles, when seeker Llewelyn Moss and detective Wells get to be themselves targets. A lot of military leaders where already well aware of the sustainability issues going on within the DoD. Admiral John Nathman, USN (Ret.), former Commander of the U.S. Fleet Forces Command under President George W. Bush, put it this way: There are serious risks to doing nothing about climate change. We can pay now or we re going to pay a whole lot later. The U.S. has a unique opportunity to become energy independent, protect our national security and boost our economy while reducing our carbon footprint. We ve been a model of success for the rest of the world in the past and now we must lead the way on climate change (Schueneman) The military as a whole has realized that their sustainability efforts haven t been the best and they are doing enormous amounts of work to change that. • 5. Analysis Of Porosity And Temperature By Qinwu Xu Porosity and Temperature By Qinwu Xu, October 17, 2016 Introduction Metal primarily exhibits plastic and ductile behaviors in the cutting process in which its behavior is often assumed to be isotropic and homogeneous [1]. The large deformation and unconstrained plastic flow nature of machining metals can be modeled with an unstructured tetrahedral mesh, allowing for the adaptive local refinement and coarsening to alleviate mesh distortions, maintain simulation accuracy and reasonable computational performance. However, modeling of ceramic matrix composites could be much more complex due to the unique feature of this type of material: 1) the fracture and brittle behavior of materials; and b) the nonuniform distribution of porosity in the ceramic matrix. CMCs are comprised of individual layers with unique material properties dependent on fiber orientation within the polymer matrix which is typically in a woven pattern. Therefore, CMCs often exhibit anisotropic or orthotropic properties, and have lower strains and higher degrees of fragmentations than metallic materials during machining. The unique features of CMCs make simulations more challenging due to the complex nature of the problem considering material nonlinear fracture, anisotropic or orthotropic property and multi phase interaction apart from dynamic loading and plastic deformation in machining of metals. Different modeling approaches have been studied for modeling the machining of composites and CMCs, including ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Neo colonialism or imperialism This is an external factor of Nigeria s underdevelopment; it is the highest form of exploitation from the British countries to their colonies after independence. Nigeria has contributed to its economic backwardness, as it promotes the maintenance of foreign domination and enhances neo colonialism and the flowering of subjugationism (onimode, 1981). Imperialism has always been an exploitative phenomenon, which was the initial motive for colonization. Nigeria has been seen as a dumping ground for most British counties, making it difficult for us to produce our own goods. Also the fact that we are primary producers with fewer technicalities to produce our raw materials into finished products makes it a means of imperialism as we export our goods at the rate determined by the British colonies and still import back at a higher cost. Women s Rights in the 19th Century and Now Essay It would be a huge understatement to say that many things have changed when it comes to women s rights, positions, and roles in our society today since the 19th century. Actually, very few similarities remain. Certain family values, such as specific aspects of domesticity and performance of family duties are amongst the only similarities still present. Victorian women had several hardships to overcome. Education, marriage, leisure, and travel amongst other things were limited and controlled. A woman was never to travel if not in the company of her parents or husband. Leisure, for example, was limited and a woman always had to look busy and find something to do. In a time when it was expected of a woman to behave a certain way and sexual desire was considered something only experienced by men, Kate Chopin spoke with exceptional openness about human sexuality. She then criticized society for its close mindedness. She helped to generate enlightened attitudes among both the women and men of her time. By not only admitting the fact that a woman has strong sexual desires, but also glorifying it, Chopin opened doors to better communication and understanding between men and women as a result of The Storm. This has changed significantly since the 19th century. Sex, amongst others, is no longer taboo to women and it has become a much more liberated subject. It is encouraged and accepted in today s society that a woman enjoys sexual pleasures outside the restraints of only pregnancy, even marriage. Women in the Victorian era had very little to say when it came to marriage. Usually, the parents of the woman would make the choice for her as to whom she would marry based on a man s social status. It was not odd for a 15 year old girl to wed, unlike in today s society. Parents would usually look for a man who was wealthy enough to help the woman advance in her life, since women were mostly uneducated and only taught to be homemakers and mothers and not work. Essay about The Voice of the Sea in The Awakening The Voice of the Sea in The Awakening Many different symbols were utilized in Kate Chopin s The Awakening to illustrate the underlying themes and internal conflict of the characters. One constant and re emerging symbol is the sea. The voice of the sea is seductive, never ceasing, whispering, clamoring, murmuring, inviting the soul to wander for a spell in abysses of solitude; to lose itself in mazes of inward contemplation. The voice of the sea speaks to the soul. The touch of the sea is sensuous, enfolding the body in its soft, close embrace (Chopin 25). Edna s recollection of this event allows her to more clearly recognize her internal turmoil. The link between Edna s awakening and the ocean becomes even clearer when after several attempts she finally learns to swim. The first time she ventures out into the ocean alone is the first step toward her independence. She panics when she realizes how far she has gone alone and fears drowning. This incident represents Edna gaining control over her body and becoming more aware of her full potential. The ocean helps her recognize that her body is her own and she awakens to her physical, mental, and emotional capabilities. But that night she was like the little tottering, stumbling, clutching child, who of a sudden realizes its powers, and walks for the first time alone, boldly and with overconfidence. (Chopin 47). IIntracellular trafficking is an essential cellular communication process in which membrane vesicles carrying lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids are taken up and transported through endosomes to lysosomes (termed endocytosis) and vesicles carrying macromolecules are delivered to the plasma membrane and outside of the cell (exocytosis) [1]. Uptake of external particles through endocytosis is required for prolific growth and differentiation. For example, uptake of transferrin provides iron necessary for growth and parasitism of the parasite Plasmodium falciparum [2]. • 21. Karl Popper And The Scientific Method Karl Popper is commonly regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of science in the 20th Century. He is well known for his rejection of the inductivist viewpoint of the scientific method, in which one uses observation to propose a law to generalize an observed pattern, and later confirm that law through more observation. Popper states that induction cannot be logically justified (Popper 14). Inductivism relies on the process of inductive reasoning which is a logical process in which multiple premises, all thought to be true and found to be true most of the time, are combined to obtain a conclusion and in many cases formulate a law or theory. Popper rejected the inductivist viewpoint in favor of a theory called empirical falsification which holds that a theory can never be proven, but it can be falsified, and therefore it can and needs to be scrutinized through experimentation. In his work Conjectures and Refutations, Popper discussed several aspects of induction including the topics of conjectures (opinions or conclusions formed on the basis of incomplete information) or tentative theories and refutations (ways to refute an argument, opinion, testimony, doctrine, or theory, through contradicting evidence) or the acts of disproving arguments through counterexamples (Oxford). This idea of understanding can even be compared and seen throughout the criticisms of character presentation by Michiko Kakutani, who has an appreciation for the way she lays out her characters to her audience, and the commentary by Robert Newman on how she relates to her readers through her characters. The way these two appreciate Bobbie Ann Mason s character development is the same way that Robin Becker appreciates how she presents the story itself to her ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 23. United States Should Increase The Visa Cap The H 1B visa, originally created to streamline admissions of temporary foreign workers to the United States, has become a topic of much debate between the foes of immigration and the information technology (IT) industry. The debate is focused on whether to increase the visa cap in order to alleviate what the industry describes as a shortage of IT labor. This argument, however, obscures the fundamental flaw of the H 1B program that deserves a more prudent examination. The current H 1B visa program is plagued with inefficiencies that privilege the IT industry at the expense of both visa holders and domestic IT workers alike. The H 1B program needs a complete overhaul, and should include a mechanism to ensure that both employers and employees abide by free market forces. Increasing the current visa cap will only amplify current inefficiencies of the H 1B visa program. Alternatively, allowing visa holders the ability to access a greater range of employment opportunities increases the holder s incentive to make economic contributions. The industry s ability to hire globally must be balance by workers rights to seek out more competitive opportunities. Current mobility restrictions of the H 1B program are preventing valuable workers from seeking the most valuable opportunities, ultimately leading to a misallocation of foreign labor. H 1B visa reform that includes a role for labor mobility will not only introduce market forces into the bigoted program, but will also help ensure ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The institutionalized inequalities are detrimental on an individual basis as well a societal basis. Racism does not only affect the individuals that are being oppressed but also how society functions as a whole. Racial inequalities have manifested in American society in ways that underlies a wide range of societal domains such as housing patterns, educational opportunities, healthcare inequality, and incarceration rates. Current events and experiences demonstrate moreover that racial inequality is still adamant in the American culture. Long after slavery, the Jim Crow Era, and the civil rights movement, racial inequality has taken distinctive forms which affect many people within a racially oppressed group. Racial segregation at large is embedded within a structural matrix that not only permeates in the American culture but in our private and public institutions. Disparities in the criminal justice system and housing patterns remain a key barrier to racial equality in America. In order to eradicate racial inequality, there needs to be policy solutions that place fundamental changes to a system with profound historical origins, one that structurally disadvantages minority groups. This conspiracy theory was created by historians of the time. Historians living during the time of these disastrous heinous pogroms looked for an instigating hand behind the pogroms. In May of 1881, L. Schloss in a meeting of the Anglo Jewish association stated it was impossible that outrages could take place, and last in some instances more than 24 hours, in a country which bristled so with police and soldiery as Russia, without the authorities winked at them for their own purposes (Klier 384). They wore different clothes, had different occupations, lived in different areas, spoke different languages, and followed different holidays. In the years prior to the pogroms, there was a true dislike of the Jews by the government and the people. The Jews were treated as a separate class, a different people. Klier discusses the anti jewish policies of Tsar Nicholas I and then the liberalization of some of these policies under Tsar Alexander II. The new policies by Tsar Alexander II actually led to increased debate over the Jewish question and increased Judeophobia. By 1881, the differences between the Jews and non Jews were accentuated not only by government legislation, but also by economics as some Jews were starting to flouish, rumors, and newspapers. The ultimate transgression that led to the pogroms was the rumor that it was the Jews that murdered the Tsar! Glorification Of Nature In Rime Of The Ancient Mariner The power and glorification of nature and how it can be a spiritual source of renewal for individuals is highlighted through the works of artists of the Romantic period. Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Coleridge and Blueback by Tim Winton both display the influences that nature can have on an individual, spiritually and emotionally, and presents a clearer understanding of the natural world. The poem by Samuel Coleridge, Rime of the Ancient Mariner depicts a strong belief and interest in nature and how the natural world can be a place where God can be found. The contrast between the language of the quotes slimy things and O happy living things demonstrates this change in perspective as the narrator realises the beauty of nature. During his punishment, the Mariner was able to see the real beauty of nature and as a result, he had the ability to rejoice and pray about what he was seeing. By recognising the elegance in the environment that surrounded him, it enabled the Mariner to be free from his imprisonment. Like the belief in God, the Mariner first feared but finally loved the natural elements of the world. Throughout the journey, the wonder and beauty of nature and how it can be a spiritual finding is brought into focus. Analysis Of The Poem The Angel Of The House The Angel in the House During the Victorian Era in 1837 the period that was ruled by Queen Victoria I, women endured many social disadvantages by living in a world entirely dominated by men. Around that time most women had to be innocent, virtuous, dutiful and be ignorant of intellectual opinion. It was also a time associated with prudishness and repression. Their sole window on the world would, of course, be her husband. The former option, which involves re use of the gas in food and chemical industries, can make the captured CO2 highly useful, and the emissions from these utilization processes only account for 2% of overall emissions, meaning that the captured CO2 will not simply be released back into the atmosphere. Storage options, however, still need to be considered in order to remove the vast majority of captured CO2 from circulation, the most popular being storage in nearly depleted oil or natural gas reservoirs, unmineable ...
