Pimps tend to choose their targets wisely by taking advantage of their social and economical
disadvantages. According to the article Sex Trafficking of Women and Girls, typically, the countries
from which many of the victims originate have unstable political climates and are economically
disadvantaged (Deshpande and Nour). Victims are taken away from their families and loved ones,
isolated in a foreign country, and unable to speak the language they need in order to ask for help.
Traffickers are highly skilled profiteers who use a variety of tactics to trap their victims. They give
their girls false promises such as education opportunities, job opportunities, and false marriages in
order to obtain American citizenship. They also use a tactic known as debt bondage where they expect
their victims to provide personal or sexual services to pay a portion of their debt (Deshpande and
Nour). Also, pimps use emotional techniques to recruit women. They tend to act as if they are the only
ones who care about their victims and provide them with their basic needs such as food and shelter in

Why Do Motorcycle Saddlebags
There are few motorcycle accessories that are more important than your motorcycle saddlebags, and it
s important that you give them proper care to make them last. Remember, your saddlebags will be
holding some of your most important stuff, and since they are usually out of sight, out of mind, it is
easy to forget about them when it comes time to care for your bike.
Remember the days before you had motorcycle saddlebags? I sure do. I used to wear a backpack
which, when loaded, would offset the balance and sometimes make for a scary ride. If I ever rode
through wet weather, my gear in the backpack would almost always get soaked. Trust me when I tell
you that it s almost impossible to dry out a down sleeping bag by campfire on a cool spring evening!

Any more often than this and you are wasting your time, and the cleaning product. If you ride in the
sun, or your bike spends time parked out in the sun, a cleaner/conditioner with UV (ultraviolet)
protection is a must. The sun will wreak havoc on your leather saddlebags, drying them out and will
turn them into brittle and useless scraps of leather.
When using the cleaning/conditioning product for the first time, wipe it on a small area on the
underside, and look for any staining or discoloration before cleaning the whole bag. Some leather
experts say to stay away from products containing petroleum products. My rule of thumb is to use
something that others have had great success with regardless of the ingredients.
I try to look for leather products that penetrate deeply and offer good moisture protection. One great
old standby is saddle soap. Saddle soap is as old as leather (it seems), is cheap and is very gentle on
the leather. Some say it s old fashioned, and compared to modern conditioning products, doesn t offer
enough protection from the elements.
Sometimes these cleaning/conditioning products will have strong chemicals that will give off nasty
fumes.Try to use them outdoors so you don t inhale these

A Traditional Catholic Mass Change Based Upon The Place...
Many people have preconceived notions of how a religious service is conducted and looks like, even if
they are not a practitioner or have never attended a service. With Catholicism, people expect that the
services are only held in churches that are set aside from other institutions. People imagine the
attendees in semi formal and conservative dress. The times of a service are even held to an imaginary
guideline. If a religion breaks from the pattern, people are inclined to believe that the service is of a
lesser quality or may not truly be affiliated with the Catholic Church. The Church has had to adapt to
the situations it has been placed in because of the ever changing world it resides in. The purpose of
this paper is to examine how the ideas and images of a traditional Catholic Mass change based upon
the place Mass occurs, I am looking specifically at the service at the Interfaith Center located on the
University of California Irvine (UCI) campus. The University Catholic Community (UCC) at UC
Irvine is a campus organization that provides church services to the Catholic community. The
Interfaith building is used to hold services for the students who cannot go elsewhere. There are various
youth ministries within the community that cater to various ethnic groups, though anyone is allowed
to join: Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, and one that is for anyone. By being focused on catering to the
college student demographic, the UCC has had to adapt to the needs of the students

Theme Of Politics In Animal Farm By George Orwell
Orwell was successful at fusing political purpose and artistic purpose into one whole. Throughout the
three pieces of literature Animal Farm, Why I Write , Politics and language Orwell makes it apparent
that politics plays a significant role in a great deal of his works. As he explains in the essay Why I
Write, Every line of serious work I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly,
against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism. (Houghton). This statement clearly reveals how
any serious work after 1936 has some political background within it. For Animal Farm an allegory to
the russian revolution in the main use of politics, where as Why I Write and Politics and Language
clearly illustrate his idea of how politics should be within writing.
On the surface, George Orwell s novel Animal Farm is about a group of neglected farm animals who
overthrow their owner and take control of their farm. However, under the surface the novel allegory
detailing the events on the Russian Revolution. Orwell wrote Animal Farm in response to his opinion
on the Russian Revolution. The author s use of anthropomorphism and commondiction leads us to
believe he intended the novel to be read by the everyday man or lay person. The novel is written as a
warning to readers with its central theme that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
The author uses a detached 3rd person narrative pointer view to describe the events as they unfold in
the story. While Orwell uses many stylistics devices in Animal Farm the two that impart the reader the
most while developing a message are symbolism and irony. Ultimately the tone in the narrative shift is
from one of hope to one of despair as Orwell weaves historagictove of the animal rebellion on manor
farm.
Why I write is an essay by George Orwell, as the title of the essay suggests, it is an explanatory essay
which focuses on the writer himself and his motivations for writing. Within the article it summarizes
Orwell s writing career but, also highlights some important motives that exist in almost all writers.
The author s intended audience would be other writers. It is apparent that Orwell s intended audience
is other writers because, he

How To Write A Personal Essay About My American Culture
As an American who has Russian parents and was born in Israel, I have always been engaged in
multiple cultures. My parents have put emphasis on preserving our Russian heritage while

An Air Of Controversy Regarding Laws Promoting Personal...
There is an air of controversy concerning laws promoting personal and social responsibility and
individual freedom. After all, there is a dire need for social change in a society that is becoming ever
more self centered and materialistic. This social change might come from laws that encourage some
sort of responsibility. For example, in Texas, a future policy for social responsibility could be a ban on
texting and driving. Personal responsibility policies could be limits on welfare benefits and childhood
immunization requirements. While a welfare reform would ease the burden of taxpayers and bans on
texting and driving and requirements of immunization would protect society from harm, these policies
encourage quite a bit of debate. Basically, it is difficult to enact laws that are for the benefit of society
as a whole without interfering or restricting individual freedoms, and vice versa. In the modern day
and age, there are many groups who either demand to keep their rights protected, like minority groups,
or emerging groups that want legislation passed to protect their rights, like the homosexual
community. Of course, there is nothing wrong with these rights, after all, the basic foundation of
democracy guarantees equality. However, the problem arises, as Lloyd put it, when society becomes
selfish and materialistic focusing only on lack of rights and creating a moral dilemma that is slowly
ruining society. Haskins broadens this by defining personal responsibility as

countries. However, fierce competitive products launched by the rivals like Salto and Ingersoll Rand
had forced Onity to dive into the market for a narrow styling locking system. The sleek designed locks
from Salto in particular were eating into the luxury hotels market of Onity. To keep up with its number

failed to follow best practices in the industry, which ultimately led them to stop a very ambitious

I Am A Business Management Essay
Urban areas are very important to our economy, cities are full of different people with different
abilities and most are in need of jobs. Living close to Flint and being in Flint every week, reminds me
of all the people that could use jobs in urban areas. I am a Business Management Major with a focus
in Entrepreneurship and when I applied to college I had a long talk with my parents about what I
would want to do once I graduate. As I progressed throughout my years of school I tried so hard to
find something I m interested in that I would want to pursue when I graduated. I am about to graduate
and I have done some serious thinking and discussing with my parents about business ideas. This past
summer we settled on an idea of a skin care facility; not like a dermatologist office.
My mom had some interest in going to a trade school to become an esthetician and looked into
different schools to attend. This interest started because she has always cared about her skin and
always talks to my sister and me about how important it is to take care of our skin at a young age. My
mom has gone to the dermatologist to get skin spots removed, and so has my dad, so they both are
very serious about skin care. Therefore, this is where the idea of a skin care facility came about. Not
only is this idea about skin care there are other services offered that focus on skin rejuvenation, such
as Botox and laser hair removal. It is important to keep our skin healthy from the beginning stages of

Liberation Ideology Essay
Liberty and Equality for All
Oppression and discrimination has existed and continues to exist in the past, present, and future
history of the United States. The mistreatment of particular groups infringe on the idea that all
individuals are free and equal. Liberation ideology strives to eliminate external and internal
oppression of particular groups in both a formal and informal method in our legal system and society.
This ideology believes in the freedom and equality of the individual. Similar to welfare liberalism,
strong government interaction is necessary to eliminate oppression in the legal system. In our current
bipartisan ideological government system, liberation ideology continues to face oppression and
discrimination. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Therefore, liberation ideology can fully thrive in a liberal democracy that promotes individual
freedom and equal opportunity giving equal rights to all individuals without infringing on the rights of
others. Welfare liberals utilize strong government interaction to bring about change in society, in
which liberation theology strives to eliminate formal discrimination by creating or ratifying legal
policies. Welfare liberals work well with liberation ideology because they believe in the necessity for
strong government intervention to aid individuals who do not have equal opportunity to reach their
full individual freedom. The liberation ideology utilizes the government to make political moves to
overcome the oppression and discrimination. For example, black liberation movements, women
liberation movements, and gay liberation movements all formally made changes in the political
system to eliminate the inequality and to bring about liberation. Black liberation movements banned
racial discrimination and segregation in the workplace and in public places during the Civil Rights
Movement with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 1968, as well as the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
These legal movements allowed blacks to gain power to assimilate themselves are full members and
citizens in the United States. Women liberation movements made motion to ratify the Nineteenth
Amendment to the Constitution in the 1920 s to

Worship Is a Verb
Book Review
Worship is a Verb: Eight Principles for Transforming Worship by Robert E. Webber
The title of this book, Worship is a Verb, might suggest that it is the major premise of the book.
Indeed, in the first chapter Webber lays out his contention that worship is a verb something we are to
be doing. He continues to come back to this thought throughout the book.
Description of the Book
Chapter 1, Winds of Change
The author begins the book with his personal frustration with worship and his perception that there is a
widespread shift in thinking concerning worship. He lists five new insights he has had concerning
worship and eight principles of worship. The author expands on these eight principles in the next nine
chapters. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Personal Evaluation
The major thesis of Worship is a Verb is that Biblical worship is a re enactment of Christ s life, death,
and resurrection. Therefore, this primary assertion must be true for the rest of the book to hold
together. Webber says that the content of Old Testament worship is determined by the
Exodus event, while the content of New Testament worship is determined by the Christ event
(2004, p. 28).
Webber then notes three parallels between the Exodus and the Christ event. He points that Christ
reveals himself as God revealed Himself to the Israelites through Moses message of deliverance. He
talks about how Exodus was a redemption of Israel from the oppression of her enemies and was
commemorated by the yearly Passover. Similarly, Christ s death on the Cross provides us redemption
from sin. After the Exodus, God created himself a people as He and the
Israelites entered a covenantal agreement at Mt. Sinai. Similarly, Jesus, who is the New
Covenant, has created himself a people, the Church of God.
The problem, however, is that Webber fails to prove that Old Testament worship actually recreated the
Exodus event. Yes, the Israelites celebrated the Passover yearly, but there is nothing to suggest they
did so on a weekly basis. Furthermore, while Webber says that the worship of

The Argument Against Ban On Tobacco Related Advertising
WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT: UNIT 4 ETHICS CASE STUDY
The arguments in favor of the ban on tobacco related advertising in India are plentiful. First,
proponents of the ban assert that the state has the right to intervene in the name of public health.
Second, there are other precedents for dangerous or potentially dangerous products advertising being
restricted such as firearms or pharmaceuticals. Third, tobacco related deaths are projected to increase
over the next few years and we need to take action to stem the flow of new users. Fourth, youth
targeted advertising campaigns are wrong and the tobacco industry s own released documents indicate
that the 14 24 year old demographic is targeted as tomorrow s cigarette business , these campaigns
need to stop to reduce the number of young people getting addicted to cigarettes. Fifth, policies aimed
at reducing tobacco use are forecast to increase employment despite the tobacco industry itself
contracting due to the fact that the money spent on tobacco products does not leave the economy if not
spent on those products but actually is used on more complex products. Finally, complete bans on
tobacco marketing result in reduced use of tobacco products over time according to studies in Norway,
Finland, New Zealand and France, but the ban needs to cover all media outlets.
Those opposed to the ban on tobacco advertising in India have their own logic for opposing the
restrictions. Oppositionists first assert that a restriction on

Tom Walker Archetypes
Folk tales are stories that are most often passed down orally from generation to generation. These
stories are often changed slightly due its old age and variety in versions. Details and dialogue may
differ by a speck, but one thing that never changes is the archetypes in the stories, in other words, the
common example of a character based on their role in the story. Washington Irving, an author
associated to the Romantic Era with a gothic twist in the 1800 s, is a prime example of a folk tale with
archetypical characters. The Devil and Tom Walker, published in 1824 illustrates a story of a greedy
man who makes a covenant with the Devil selling his soul for wealth. Irving uses the Old Starch, Tom

He establishes the background of the story by stating that there was buried treasure of a passed away
pirate on the hill top guarded not only by the big black oak trees, but by the Devil himself. In doing
this, Irving establishes a scene to easily introduce the villain to the story. When the Old Starch is
brought into the spooky setting, it is much easier to identify that he is the villain looking for a way to
do malice. When the author talks about Old Starch he refers to him as a person that should be feared
and will intentionally hurt someone in the story, which is very common in other stories for the villain
to be a scary figure and end up devastating another character, which in this case was the usurer that he

The Perspective On Demography And Its Effects On The...
Every aspect on demography comes into play when combined into unison from the perspective of a
person s environment. Factors such as age, ethnicity, gender and class are highly important in shaping
a person s environment, where a different combination is met with a distinct response, thus placing
great emphasis on the understanding of intersectionality through the lens of the sociological
imagination. Through social ecology, intersectionality and the sociological imagination intertwines
together to connect social issues and environmental problems as interrelated, where to solve one side,
the other side can not be ignored. To help protect our environment, we must begin to consider beyond

While equality is important, does all the countries have to reach the standard of Western societies,
instead for Western society to meet the developing countries somewhere in the middle. Perhaps
Eurocentrism is not so great after all when its existence is everywhere. The China Price provides an
excellent example of the consequences of the industrial culture prominent in many Western countries,
in which this culture takes advantage of the poor and marginalized groups for the economy to prosper,
as shown by the abundance of goods made from China. The environment in many cities are covered

An Integral Part Of The Culture Of Ancient Greece
Polytheism was an integral part of the culture of ancient Greece. Polytheism is the belief of multiple
gods. This allowed for a very diverse society in terms of belief and kept the conflicts between people
of different beliefs to a minimum, although not entirely. In ancient Greece, many of the people
followed one of the fourteen major gods, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Ares,
Dionysus, Hephaestus, Athena, Hermes, Demeter, Hestia, and Hera. These fourteen gods were the
cornerstones of Greek society, as each one had it s own group of devoted followers. Each group of
followers had their own unique way of following their own god.
The most prominent of these gods, was Zeus. Zeus was considered to be the King of Gods, as well as
the god of the sky. In many of the Greek legends he is the father of some of their greatest heroes, such
as Heracles and Helen of Troy. The followers of Zeus were split into many different cults, but almost
all of the Greek people would gather to pay tribute to the King of Gods at Olympia, the place where
the famous Olympic Games were held. An altar for Zeus resided there as well, but not one made of
stone, but of ash, from all the animal sacrifices that had been held there. Then said Jove, Juno, be not
so bitter. Their honour shall not be equal, but of all that dwell in Ilius, Hector was dearest to the gods,
as also to myself, for his offerings never failed me. Never was my altar stinted of its dues, nor

Comparison Of Adgio Bronzino And Robert Campin
The Comparison of Angolo Bronzino and Robert Campin Paintings One must truly have the desire to
understand the true nature of another s painting to find the impression or story the creator is pertaining
to. These two painting Cupid Folly Venus and Time by Angolo Bronzino and The Merode Alter Piece
by Robert Campin tell a story with every detailed brush stroke. Throughout this essay one will
compare, contrast, symbolize, and Iconograph the two painting, to get a better idea how they are
similar and different. First one must understand the symbolism, reasoning and iconography of both
painting, starting with Cupid, Folly, Venus and Time This painting dates back to 1546, is an oil on
wood, 61 x 56 ¾ displayed at National Gallery in London, England. Cosimo de media, the duke of
France ordered this painting, who then gave it to king Francis 1 of France. This painting was
considered sophisticated, playful, and erotic for the time period. The iconography in this painting has
been studied extensively by art scholars for many years, this is what has been determined thus this far.

who may not know Greek mythology, yet once one knows these myths one will see the suspected
hidden meaning in this work. Starting off Mr. Bronzino paints Venus whom seems to be the object

lover and counts the ways in which she can let me count the ways. She also compares her love a lots

Martin Luther King Jr Legacy Essay
What would life be like if there was no one who stood up for equal rights for the African Americans?
There would be no equality, there would still be slaves all over the United States. Those men and
women who fought and argued over this issue were big influences on the way the country runs now.
One individual who did not give up what he believed in was Martin Luther King Jr. He didn t do it
alone, he encouraged others to stand up and fight back as well right along next to him. Martin Luther
King Jr. was a leader that left a legacy in the history of the United States because he ended the terror
of living as an African American; he showed hope for all of the African Americans who were
enslaved; and he stood up for what he believed was fair. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

governors and even the President of the United States. He was arrested over 20 times, yet despite it all,

segregationists, King also faced threats and violence from members of his own race that did not agree

Export And Demand Of Goods From Other Countries
For years upon years, countries have been requesting for other countries for supplies that they do not
have for themselves. The countries would demand for that item and in return the other country would
supply it for them. They would trade products in and out of their countries due to a term known as
supply and demand. The goods and services that a country supplies and demands depends on the
country and what they have. Since not every country has the same needs or has the same resources,
there is a trade between countries at times. Comparing the countries and their supply and demands of
imports and exports, the top countries for each have their reasons to why they re at the top, whether it
be because they have less government restrictions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Some countries might supply, the amount of goods that a market can produce, and demand, the
amount of goods the consumers are willing to buy, more than others, but they are still supplying and
demanding something out of someone else. The country could demand something from its own
citizens and the citizens would supply it, but it could be applied to an even bigger audience. A country
could demand something from another country and in result, the other country would supply the
demand to either keep its friendship with the other country, or to keep its reliance for when something
is needed. Or the countries could do a simple trade of supplies they have that the countries demand. In
result to supply and demand between countries, it creates utility, total satisfaction received from
consuming a goods or service. Demand shows how much of a product a consumer is willing and able
to consume, based on the price at a certain time period. The law of demand is, when prices are to fall,
the quantity of the product that consumers want begins to rise. In simpler forms, when the price to an
item drops, consumers are willing to buy more because they are cheaper and more affordable, more
people are willing and able to buy the item. If it was to be the opposite, where the price was to
increase, the demand for the product would decrease due to the price being more expensive. When
prices are decreased, the quantity is increased, which gives the law of demand an inverse

My Reflection On My Regular Bus
I settled on the bus in my regular seat on my regular bus on my regular route, thinking about my
classes today. Little did I know about the weird day I was going to have today. My morning started out
regular enough. Just then the bus squealed to a stop. I entered the building to find my friend David
waiting for me as usual. Open Clash Royale he begged. I took out my phone and started playing. As
soon as I finished playing my third round, the bell rang across the school. School has begun. I would
have never guessed that today would not be an ordinary day.
I didn t know, but I felt something was wrong. My stomach as started to growl. I was staring at a blank

I didn t eat lunch yet, so I was confused, yet I had my question priorities. How do I turn back? And,
how do you know my name? Hello? Thomas, are you in there?! David shouted. The alien whispered
in a small voice He cannot see me. I somehow understood that David would not take seeing an alien
nor my zombie body lightly. I replied shouting, I m OK! I heard his footstep walk away. Anyway the
alien continued. I usually do not help people but I am feeling kind today, so I will help you. For a
price. After a pause, he continued I just want a gummy bear. I thought Gummy bear? Really? Oh and
by the way. I can read thoughts said the alien. I do want a gummy bear. Don t judge me. My brain
reported in an idea. There should be a bag of gummy bears in my locker from yesterday... I forgot the
alien could read my thoughts Well then, go get it! Oh and I also forgot to answer your previous
question I know your name because I have been watching you for a long time. I shuffled off. I forgot
to ask him why he had been watching me. To get the gummy bear for the alien.
I went to the forest at the edge of Portland like the alien told me to. I still do not get it when he said to
seek out the zombie king near here, and when he pulled out a map with a section of a forest circled.
My phone reported I was at the location. Even though my phone was useful it did not have a guide on

The Contribution Of Victoria Claflin Woodhull
Victoria Claflin Woodhull was born on September 23rd, 1838 in Homer, Ohio. She was an extremely
talented and gifted individual who received little to no education throughout her lifetime. She did not
attend school until much later, when she was about eight or nine years old. Nevertheless, Victoria
knew at a very young age that it was her destiny to accomplish great things. She was typically admired
by women because of her courageous acts of individualism. She was fearless and was not afraid to
stand up for what she believed in which was shocking at the time, because women s issues were not
taken into consideration. She was truly a remarkable and a powerful figure during the 19th century in
the United States. She is notably recognized for being the first woman in history to run for president in
the United States in 1872, as well as the first woman to ever address Congress regarding women s
suffrage in 1871. She was a passionate feminist, an advocate for equal education for women, civil
rights, she supported women s right to vote, and believed that women should have the right to be in
control of their own lives and have the freedom to make their own decisions. She also believed in the
concept of free love , which gave women the freedom to marry, divorce, and have children if they so
pleased without the government, or anyone else for that matter, controlling them or telling them what
to do in their situation. Victoria had vowed to become a leader in the fight

The Pros and Cons of Prenatal Screening Essay
Child is a gift from God. Every parent hopes for a healthy child. However, abnormalities in the fetus
growth becoming common nowadays. These may be due to physical, radiation and chemical factors.
These factors will cause deformities such as genetic mutation which causes mental retardation,
abnormal body buildup and other conditions which bring a lot of troubles in the future to the child
themselves and their parents. Modern technologies and innovations in the medical field had developed
a method to detect the abnormality before delivery and prevent this future tragedy to happen. This
method is known as prenatal screening. There are several advantages and disadvantages of prenatal

When parents know the fetus is special , they may be chosen to terminate the pregnancy. Thus, in
general prenatal screening helps to detect congenital disabilities but is also thought to be the remedy
selective abortion (Seller, 1976).
One of the benefits of prenatal screening is to enable early detection of the developmental defect
embryology. This embryology developmental defect may be due to the mutation or genetic
inheritance. Mutation is a condition characterized by permanent change in the DNA sequence that
makes up a gene. It can range in different sizes from a single DNA building block (DNA base) to a
large segment of a chromosome. On the other hand, genetic inheritance is a condition whereby parents
pass traits such as height and other characteristics to the children by chromosomes. Sonograms,
genetic tests and a new test called pre implantation genetic diagnosis which is a genetic test conducted
on embryos for people attempting pregnancy through in vitro fertilization allow women to better
predict if the infant will have a genetic defect (New York Times Magazine, 2006). Thus thorough
these tests, medical practitioners are able to identify and make early preparation toward any
abnormalities of the fetus.
Besides that, prenatal screening also improves lives. This is because prenatal screening is able to
prevent abnormalities which bring difficulties in human life. At this time, no regulations ... prenatal

Europeans often thought Native Americans on one hand vicious cannibals, with no social
organization, but on another hand pictured Indian society as being orderly, advanced, and civilized.
There are three famous sixteenth century pictures. Showing that Indians were civilized people. Life
among the Eastern Woodland economy looks in the first painting very civilized. The Eastern
Woodlands economy seems stable for the men making canoes. Their religion looks to be a dance ritual
for their gods. As their diet seems to be made up of vegetables that they have grown, fish that they
caught, and meat they have caught. The Eastern Woodland Indians wore cloth from animals they

Hacker And How We Can Defend Ourselves Against Them
The term hacker and how we can defend ourselves against them
In today s society, the term hacker is very well known across the world. It is scary to know that you
are being a victim of any individual who works with remote computers. People who use unauthorized
entries to other computers through communication networks such as the Internet, are known as hacker.
Since the technology has improved, all people should have information about hackers and how we can
protect our systems against them.
Where was this term born? The term hacker comes from an idea derived from a community of
computer programmers and systems designers, in the 1960s around the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology s, Tech Model Railroad Club and MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. A hacker is a
person who secretly gets access to a computer system in order to get information. They create
programs that are so complex, even the best programmers cannot conceive them. Many of the hackers
are probably between fourteen and eighteen years old. They earn a lot of money stealing important
information; also, they steal because they are paid for doing it; but, many people have become their
prey causing them emotional disturbances. They use many ways of stealing.
Since 1997, companies have received hacker attacks in their systems, making some lose a significant
amount of money. With this history attacks it is now important to find a method to combat them. They
work stealing our passwords, using the process

The Canadian Culture Essay
Culture can be defined as the behaviours and belief characteristics of a particular social, ethnic,
or age group. Every country has its own special way of life. Canada s in particular can be considered
unique because Canada is a cultural mosaic, which allows elements of many cultures to be integrated
into one. Canada s culture has many influences because the numerous people who immigrate here are
encouraged to keep their culture. These immigrants also teach the people they meet when they move
here about their own ways of life. Canada has a culture that is made up of many because of all the

country, the identity became separate from the UK. Although there were still British colonies, people
were free to start developing their own identity. The Canadian government policy has predominantly
been one of peace keeping. In the 1960s the United States started to become more violent, and Canada
remained peaceful, people looked to Canada as a place to get away from violence ( Canada in the 19th
,
2009). Canada is known worldwide for being peaceful, and is recognized for its peacekeeping efforts
in
war zones. Canada is of a handful of nations to which the United Nations can regularly turn to
obtain peacekeeping advice and expert peacekeepers. ( Canada Peacekeeping , 1999) The
word peace keeping was invented by the fourteenth Canadian Prime Minister, Lester B. Pearson
during
the Suez crisis of 1956, for which he was later awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
The geography of Canada affects our culture considerably. Canada is located north of the United
States, occupying most of northern America. It is the second largest country in the world. Canadians
take pride in this fact. Firstly, the climate affects what we wear. In the north most parts of Canada,
thick
coats and parkas are a necessity, along with mittens, and thick hats, or toques, in Canadian slang in
warmer, southern parts of Canada we must prepare for

Central Valley s air pollution as well as some possibilities of how the community can help.
Sources of Air Pollution:
The San Joaquin Valley is such a large agricultural and industrial area that it has many contributing
sources to air pollution. According to the San Joaquin Valley air pollution control district what causes
air pollution or ozone precursor emissions are broken down into two categories which are stationary
and mobile. Stationary are broken into two main sources point and area. The San Joaquin Valley air
pollution control district says point sources are large, identifiable sources while area sources are
sources that individually emit smaller amounts of pollutants. For point sources these areas can be food

Bus 670 Week 3 Individual Assignment Elements Of A Contract
BUS 670 Week 3 Individual Assignment Elements of a Contract A contract of employment is a type of
a contract used in labor law to attribute rights and responsibilities between parties to a contract (Blum,
2007). On the one end stands an employee who is employed by an employer . A written employment
contract is a document that someone and their employee sign which sets forth the terms and conditions
of the employment relationship (Tepper, 2011). Many rules, exceptions and considerations apply when
dealing with employment contracts. Suppose that the Fabulous Hotel hires you as head chef under a
two year employment contract. After two years, another hotel wants to hire you. However, in the
original employment contract you signed with the fabulous Hotel, the following paragraph appears:
The below signed agrees not to work as a chef for another hotel in the same metropolitan area for a
period of two years after leaving our employ. First, it is crucial to know and understand which law
governs the employment contract. According to Seaquist, contract law is governed by the common
law or the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) (Seaquist, 2012). If the contract handles the sales of
goods, it is governed by the UCC (Seaquist, 2012). If the contract handles anything besides the sale of
goods (such as real estate, insurance, personal services like employment, etc.) then it is governed by
the common law (Seaquist, 2012). When a business or employer hires an employee to join the staff,

PEST Analysis of Myer
The PEST analysis helps to explain the critical factors in the organization s external environment. The
factors include political, economic, social and technological. For Myer, these forces combine with the
internal factors, and other external factors like competition. The Australian consumer goods retail
market is worth $121 billion (IBISWorld, 2012) but is heavily fragmented. Myer is the third largest
company in the industry behind David Jones and Harvey Norman, but with $3.158 billion in sales
holds just 2.6% market share (Myer 2011 Annual Report). This implies that competition is only one of
many factors that can contribute to the company s results. This PEST analysis will help to identify the
other major factors.
The political environment encompasses factors such as regulations, taxation, trade policy and the legal
environment. For the most part, the regulatory environment is stable, with no major changes set to
affect the industry. Australia s corporate tax rate is slightly above the OECD average (Treasury.gov.au,
2012), but as all of the company s major competitors are also Australian, this is neither an advantage
nor disadvantage competitively. There is currently a proposal to cut corporate tax rates, but this is
meeting with opposition because of its structure, so there is doubt as to whether this will pass (Scott,
2012). The political environment may not be right for a tax cut, but tax policy affects all major
competitors equally, so while such a cut would

Mitostop Body
Mitostop is said to be effective in slowing the growth of malignant brain tumours. Although this
experimental drug is effective in slowing down the growth process of the tumour, Mitostop causes

The liver is important in maintaining normal glucose levels. When glucose levels are low the liver
breaks down glycogen to glucose and releases it into the bloodstream (Jenkins Tortora, 2013). The
liver also acts as a storage component for glycogen and triglycerides. If this function were impaired
due to a lack of blood flow through the liver cells due to the formation of AVA s homeostasis would
not be maintained within our bodies creating an imbalance. The delivery of glucose to the blood steam
would not be successful creating many problems within our bodies. I believe cells will die as glucose

How the Prophet Muhammad Spread Islam
How the Prophet Muhammad Spread Islam
Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet of Islam, he had made the biggest impact on the religion.
Prophet Muhammad spread the Islamic religion throughout most of the world. He started spreading
the religion after he had received the message from Gabriel, an angel sent from God to the Prophet. At
the age of forty the message of Islam started to spread upon those who were yet to join Islam
(Muhammed, the messenger of God). The prophet did not force others into the religion, people would
believe the prophet from the acts that he did. The way that he did so was done in a very stable way
that did not involve the harming of others, the Prophet had showed equality and gave the people
freedom of speech when he attempted to do so. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) had started
the spreading of Islam at the place of his birth, Mecca. Before the prophet had spread Islam in Mecca,
the main religion in the holy city was idol worshipping .In the beginning, the prophet had had quite a
slow start to spreading the religion. The prophet taught those who lived in Mecca about Islam and had
not spread the word in such a public way because he was ordered not to. He began by preaching those
who were close to him, basically family members. The first believers to join the religion were Khadija
(Prophet s wife) and Ali (Family relative) (Asfaruddin). Convincing the people to join Islam was not
simply by preaching. The prophet simply

After the calculations you end up coming out with a rate of 14.87%. The third and final part of
question three asks what rate you will need if the interest is compounded semiannually. All you have
to do is double the amount of terms and you will come out with a lower number of 7.177%. Since the
interest is compounded semiannually that means that you will need to times that number by two and
you come out with your final number of 14.35%.
In question four, Janet was asked to solve a question that deals with annuity payments, specifically,
ordinary annuities. It starts by asking of how much you will make if you add $2,000 every year and it
is compounded by 10% interest every year. These, for the most part, are future value problems. The
first one comes out to be a future value of $12,210.20, which does not satisfy the need for $20,000.
The next part asks what the value would be if the interest was compounded semiannually. You have to
do an equation in order to find out what the effective annual interest rate. Through this equation you
come out with a value of 10.25% and after the calculator calculations you come out with a future
value of $12,271.11, also not meeting the demand for that first year of college. The next part asks
what payment will you need in order to get to that $20,000 number and the present value comes to be
$3,275.95. Next, the case asks what original payment you would need in order

And I put my suitcase by the door. And I was about to leave...sure enough, the phone rings. The young woman answered the phone and told her captor that she was there. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Pimps tend to choose their targets wisely by taking advantage of their social and economical disadvantages. According to the article Sex Trafficking of Women and Girls, typically, the countries from which many of the victims originate have unstable political climates and are economically disadvantaged (Deshpande and Nour). Victims are taken away from their families and loved ones, isolated in a foreign country, and unable to speak the language they need in order to ask for help. Traffickers are highly skilled profiteers who use a variety of tactics to trap their victims. They give their girls false promises such as education opportunities, job opportunities, and false marriages in order to obtain American citizenship. They also use a tactic known as debt bondage where they expect their victims to provide personal or sexual services to pay a portion of their debt (Deshpande and Nour). Also, pimps use emotional techniques to recruit women. They tend to act as if they are the only ones who care about their victims and provide them with their basic needs such as food and shelter in order to gain their devoted loyalty. • 3. Why Do Motorcycle Saddlebags There are few motorcycle accessories that are more important than your motorcycle saddlebags, and it s important that you give them proper care to make them last. Remember, your saddlebags will be holding some of your most important stuff, and since they are usually out of sight, out of mind, it is easy to forget about them when it comes time to care for your bike. Remember the days before you had motorcycle saddlebags? I sure do. I used to wear a backpack which, when loaded, would offset the balance and sometimes make for a scary ride. If I ever rode through wet weather, my gear in the backpack would almost always get soaked. Trust me when I tell you that it s almost impossible to dry out a down sleeping bag by campfire on a cool spring evening! ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Any more often than this and you are wasting your time, and the cleaning product. If you ride in the sun, or your bike spends time parked out in the sun, a cleaner/conditioner with UV (ultraviolet) protection is a must. The sun will wreak havoc on your leather saddlebags, drying them out and will turn them into brittle and useless scraps of leather. When using the cleaning/conditioning product for the first time, wipe it on a small area on the underside, and look for any staining or discoloration before cleaning the whole bag. Some leather experts say to stay away from products containing petroleum products. My rule of thumb is to use something that others have had great success with regardless of the ingredients. I try to look for leather products that penetrate deeply and offer good moisture protection. One great old standby is saddle soap. Saddle soap is as old as leather (it seems), is cheap and is very gentle on the leather. Some say it s old fashioned, and compared to modern conditioning products, doesn t offer enough protection from the elements. Sometimes these cleaning/conditioning products will have strong chemicals that will give off nasty fumes.Try to use them outdoors so you don t inhale these ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. A Traditional Catholic Mass Change Based Upon The Place... Many people have preconceived notions of how a religious service is conducted and looks like, even if they are not a practitioner or have never attended a service. With Catholicism, people expect that the services are only held in churches that are set aside from other institutions. People imagine the attendees in semi formal and conservative dress. The times of a service are even held to an imaginary guideline. If a religion breaks from the pattern, people are inclined to believe that the service is of a lesser quality or may not truly be affiliated with the Catholic Church. The Church has had to adapt to the situations it has been placed in because of the ever changing world it resides in. The purpose of this paper is to examine how the ideas and images of a traditional Catholic Mass change based upon the place Mass occurs, I am looking specifically at the service at the Interfaith Center located on the University of California Irvine (UCI) campus. The University Catholic Community (UCC) at UC Irvine is a campus organization that provides church services to the Catholic community. The Interfaith building is used to hold services for the students who cannot go elsewhere. There are various youth ministries within the community that cater to various ethnic groups, though anyone is allowed to join: Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, and one that is for anyone. By being focused on catering to the college student demographic, the UCC has had to adapt to the needs of the students ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Theme Of Politics In Animal Farm By George Orwell Orwell was successful at fusing political purpose and artistic purpose into one whole. Throughout the three pieces of literature Animal Farm, Why I Write , Politics and language Orwell makes it apparent that politics plays a significant role in a great deal of his works. As he explains in the essay Why I Write, Every line of serious work I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism. (Houghton). This statement clearly reveals how any serious work after 1936 has some political background within it. For Animal Farm an allegory to the russian revolution in the main use of politics, where as Why I Write and Politics and Language clearly illustrate his idea of how politics should be within writing. On the surface, George Orwell s novel Animal Farm is about a group of neglected farm animals who overthrow their owner and take control of their farm. However, under the surface the novel allegory detailing the events on the Russian Revolution. Orwell wrote Animal Farm in response to his opinion on the Russian Revolution. The author s use of anthropomorphism and commondiction leads us to believe he intended the novel to be read by the everyday man or lay person. The novel is written as a warning to readers with its central theme that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The author uses a detached 3rd person narrative pointer view to describe the events as they unfold in the story. While Orwell uses many stylistics devices in Animal Farm the two that impart the reader the most while developing a message are symbolism and irony. Ultimately the tone in the narrative shift is from one of hope to one of despair as Orwell weaves historagictove of the animal rebellion on manor farm. Why I write is an essay by George Orwell, as the title of the essay suggests, it is an explanatory essay which focuses on the writer himself and his motivations for writing. Within the article it summarizes Orwell s writing career but, also highlights some important motives that exist in almost all writers. The author s intended audience would be other writers. • 6. How To Write A Personal Essay About My American Culture As an American who has Russian parents and was born in Israel, I have always been engaged in multiple cultures. My parents have put emphasis on preserving our Russian heritage while encouraging me to immerse myself in American culture. As I stand at the threshold of entering college, I am thrilled by the prospect of becoming acquainted with yet another cultural sphere. Being fluent in both Russian and English has been transformative. Over the course of my life, I have read Pushkin and Hughes, Dostoyevsky and Dickens, Pasternak and Hemingway. After leaving the Soviet Union and gaining freedom of religion, my parents became devout Russian Orthodox Christians. Nearly every Sunday of my life has been spent in church. My parents have encouraged me to become an active member of my parish: I used my knowledge of Russian to learn the Slavonic alphabet in order to read epistles, psalms, and prayers during each service. Reading these texts over and over again has woven the tenets of my faith into my being. The principle that has resonated with me most is my golden rule that one should not judge others. This mandate to keep an open mind is an integral part of my identity. I strive to accept people and their ideas at face value without any animosity. The golden rule makes it possible for me to consider new perspectives without compromising my own beliefs. When I meet someone who holds a viewpoint that differs from mine, I consider these ideas based on their merit, rather than simply putting up a blustering defense of my own views. Listening with an open mind enables me to find the inherent goodness in every person I meet and blend my traditional views with contemporary ideas into a centrist ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. An Air Of Controversy Regarding Laws Promoting Personal... There is an air of controversy concerning laws promoting personal and social responsibility and individual freedom. After all, there is a dire need for social change in a society that is becoming ever more self centered and materialistic. This social change might come from laws that encourage some sort of responsibility. For example, in Texas, a future policy for social responsibility could be a ban on texting and driving. Personal responsibility policies could be limits on welfare benefits and childhood immunization requirements. While a welfare reform would ease the burden of taxpayers and bans on texting and driving and requirements of immunization would protect society from harm, these policies encourage quite a bit of debate. Basically, it is difficult to enact laws that are for the benefit of society as a whole without interfering or restricting individual freedoms, and vice versa. In the modern day and age, there are many groups who either demand to keep their rights protected, like minority groups, or emerging groups that want legislation passed to protect their rights, like the homosexual community. Of course, there is nothing wrong with these rights, after all, the basic foundation of democracy guarantees equality. However, the problem arises, as Lloyd put it, when society becomes selfish and materialistic focusing only on lack of rights and creating a moral dilemma that is slowly ruining society. Haskins broadens this by defining personal responsibility as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Onity is a part of United Technologies Corp. s (UTC, NYSE:UTX) Building Industrial Systems division. Onity has set the standards for electronic door locking systems with installations of more than 4 million throughout the world and was second to none in the Hospitality, Corporate, Education, Government and Marine markets since 1984. With the flagship products such as Advance RFID, Advance, HT24, HT28, Front Desk Systems, etc., Onity had its electronic locking systems installed on 22,000 properties in 115 countries. However, fierce competitive products launched by the rivals like Salto and Ingersoll Rand had forced Onity to dive into the market for a narrow styling locking system. The sleek designed locks from Salto in particular were eating into the luxury hotels market of Onity. To keep up with its number one position in the industry, Onity management decided to develop a narrow style lock. However, they failed to follow best practices in the industry, which ultimately led them to stop a very ambitious product development. Onity had the greatest industrial technological advantage in the market, yet in the chaos of a very iterative process of design and validation, Onity lost the battle. • 10. I Am A Business Management Essay Urban areas are very important to our economy, cities are full of different people with different abilities and most are in need of jobs. Living close to Flint and being in Flint every week, reminds me of all the people that could use jobs in urban areas. I am a Business Management Major with a focus in Entrepreneurship and when I applied to college I had a long talk with my parents about what I would want to do once I graduate. As I progressed throughout my years of school I tried so hard to find something I m interested in that I would want to pursue when I graduated. I am about to graduate and I have done some serious thinking and discussing with my parents about business ideas. This past summer we settled on an idea of a skin care facility; not like a dermatologist office. My mom had some interest in going to a trade school to become an esthetician and looked into different schools to attend. This interest started because she has always cared about her skin and always talks to my sister and me about how important it is to take care of our skin at a young age. My mom has gone to the dermatologist to get skin spots removed, and so has my dad, so they both are very serious about skin care. Therefore, this is where the idea of a skin care facility came about. Not only is this idea about skin care there are other services offered that focus on skin rejuvenation, such as Botox and laser hair removal. Therefore, liberation ideology can fully thrive in a liberal democracy that promotes individual freedom and equal opportunity giving equal rights to all individuals without infringing on the rights of others. Welfare liberals utilize strong government interaction to bring about change in society, in which liberation theology strives to eliminate formal discrimination by creating or ratifying legal policies. Welfare liberals work well with liberation ideology because they believe in the necessity for strong government intervention to aid individuals who do not have equal opportunity to reach their full individual freedom. The liberation ideology utilizes the government to make political moves to overcome the oppression and discrimination. For example, black liberation movements, women liberation movements, and gay liberation movements all formally made changes in the political system to eliminate the inequality and to bring about liberation. Black liberation movements banned racial discrimination and segregation in the workplace and in public places during the Civil Rights Movement with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 1968, as well as the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Webber The title of this book, Worship is a Verb, might suggest that it is the major premise of the book. Indeed, in the first chapter Webber lays out his contention that worship is a verb something we are to be doing. He continues to come back to this thought throughout the book. Description of the Book Chapter 1, Winds of Change The author begins the book with his personal frustration with worship and his perception that there is a widespread shift in thinking concerning worship. He lists five new insights he has had concerning worship and eight principles of worship. The author expands on these eight principles in the next nine chapters. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Personal Evaluation The major thesis of Worship is a Verb is that Biblical worship is a re enactment of Christ s life, death, and resurrection. Therefore, this primary assertion must be true for the rest of the book to hold together. Webber says that the content of Old Testament worship is determined by the Exodus event, while the content of New Testament worship is determined by the Christ event (2004, p. 28). Webber then notes three parallels between the Exodus and the Christ event. He points that Christ reveals himself as God revealed Himself to the Israelites through Moses message of deliverance. He talks about how Exodus was a redemption of Israel from the oppression of her enemies and was commemorated by the yearly Passover. Similarly, Christ s death on the Cross provides us redemption from sin. After the Exodus, God created himself a people as He and the Israelites entered a covenantal agreement at Mt. Sinai. Similarly, Jesus, who is the New Covenant, has created himself a people, the Church of God. The problem, however, is that Webber fails to prove that Old Testament worship actually recreated the Exodus event. Yes, the Israelites celebrated the Passover yearly, but there is nothing to suggest they did so on a weekly basis. Furthermore, while Webber says that the worship of ... • 13. The Argument Against Ban On Tobacco Related Advertising WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT: UNIT 4 ETHICS CASE STUDY The arguments in favor of the ban on tobacco related advertising in India are plentiful. First, proponents of the ban assert that the state has the right to intervene in the name of public health. Second, there are other precedents for dangerous or potentially dangerous products advertising being restricted such as firearms or pharmaceuticals. Third, tobacco related deaths are projected to increase over the next few years and we need to take action to stem the flow of new users. Fourth, youth targeted advertising campaigns are wrong and the tobacco industry s own released documents indicate that the 14 24 year old demographic is targeted as tomorrow s cigarette business , these campaigns need to stop to reduce the number of young people getting addicted to cigarettes. Fifth, policies aimed at reducing tobacco use are forecast to increase employment despite the tobacco industry itself contracting due to the fact that the money spent on tobacco products does not leave the economy if not spent on those products but actually is used on more complex products. Finally, complete bans on tobacco marketing result in reduced use of tobacco products over time according to studies in Norway, Finland, New Zealand and France, but the ban needs to cover all media outlets. Those opposed to the ban on tobacco advertising in India have their own logic for opposing the restrictions. Oppositionists first assert that a restriction on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These stories are often changed slightly due its old age and variety in versions. Details and dialogue may differ by a speck, but one thing that never changes is the archetypes in the stories, in other words, the common example of a character based on their role in the story. Washington Irving, an author associated to the Romantic Era with a gothic twist in the 1800 s, is a prime example of a folk tale with archetypical characters. The Devil and Tom Walker, published in 1824 illustrates a story of a greedy man who makes a covenant with the Devil selling his soul for wealth. When the Old Starch is brought into the spooky setting, it is much easier to identify that he is the villain looking for a way to do malice. When the author talks about Old Starch he refers to him as a person that should be feared and will intentionally hurt someone in the story, which is very common in other stories for the villain to be a scary figure and end up devastating another character, which in this case was the usurer that he took under his ... Polytheism is the belief of multiple gods. This allowed for a very diverse society in terms of belief and kept the conflicts between people of different beliefs to a minimum, although not entirely. In ancient Greece, many of the people followed one of the fourteen major gods, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Apollo, Artemis, Aphrodite, Ares, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Athena, Hermes, Demeter, Hestia, and Hera. These fourteen gods were the cornerstones of Greek society, as each one had it s own group of devoted followers. Each group of followers had their own unique way of following their own god. The most prominent of these gods, was Zeus. Zeus was considered to be the King of Gods, as well as the god of the sky. In many of the Greek legends he is the father of some of their greatest heroes, such as Heracles and Helen of Troy. The followers of Zeus were split into many different cults, but almost all of the Greek people would gather to pay tribute to the King of Gods at Olympia, the place where the famous Olympic Games were held. Cosimo de media, the duke of France ordered this painting, who then gave it to king Francis 1 of France. This painting was considered sophisticated, playful, and erotic for the time period. The iconography in this painting has been studied extensively by art scholars for many years, this is what has been determined thus this far. For Myer, these forces combine with the internal factors, and other external factors like competition. The Australian consumer goods retail market is worth $121 billion (IBISWorld, 2012) but is heavily fragmented. Myer is the third largest company in the industry behind David Jones and Harvey Norman, but with $3.158 billion in sales holds just 2.6% market share (Myer 2011 Annual Report). This implies that competition is only one of many factors that can contribute to the company s results. This PEST analysis will help to identify the other major factors. The political environment encompasses factors such as regulations, taxation, trade policy and the legal environment. For the most part, the regulatory environment is stable, with no major changes set to affect the industry. Australia s corporate tax rate is slightly above the OECD average (Treasury.gov.au, 2012), but as all of the company s major competitors are also Australian, this is neither an advantage nor disadvantage competitively. There is currently a proposal to cut corporate tax rates, but this is meeting with opposition because of its structure, so there is doubt as to whether this will pass (Scott, 2012).
