Timetable: Thursday from 11:35 to 12:15
Topic: Toys
Routine
- Greet students
- Check attendance
- Ask about the date and weather.
- Write about the date and weather on the board. Example: Today is
Thursday October 28th
. It’s sunny and cold.
Activity Nº 1:
- Interaction: Teacher – students
- Macro-skills: Listening – Speaking
- Timing: 7/8 minutes
- Materials: Printed images
The teacher will present flashcards about different toys and students will have to
repeat after the teacher the names of each toy. Also they will have to take their
favorite toy and then say orally what toy it is.
Activity Nº2
Now the teacher will give students a photocopy in which they will have to “Look,
colour and find” the toys, then say orally which toys they could recognize.
Activity Nº3:
The teacher will make a game on the blackboard called “Hangman”. The students
will have to guess which is the toy that the teacher chose, and the flashcards will
be useful as a guide.
