Intercultural Project
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- To develop interest and respect to other culture by being in real and direct
contact with a foreign person.
- To think about national identity.
- To reflect about cultural differences.
- To express orally aspects of their culture and personal life.
WARM-UP:
- The teacher will begin the class greeting the students through a short
rhyme.
- The teacher will give each student a badge with their name.
- The teacher will begin the lesson writing down the date and the name of
the unit.
FIRST ACTIVITY:
The teacher will introduce John and he will present a power point presentation for
students that it will show images about North American traditional food. In this occasion
the pupils will have the opportunity to ask question to John. The teacher will encourage
and help them to speak in English but they might use Spanish.

SECOND ACTIVITY:
The teacher will provide students with cardboards to create their own presentation about
Argentinian traditional food using images, some words written and drawings; also
students will have the opportunity to present their productions to John and to talk about
their food habits.

Timing: 20 minutes
Materials: Cardboard, color pencils and images from magazines.
