This is the instruction.

References: Mathematics for Better Life IV pp. 242 – 245 Carmelita C. Coronel d. Materials: Cartolina, Pictures, Colored chalk e. Value: Cooperation’s and sharing ones ideas. III. Learning Experience Teacher’s Activity Pupil’s Activity Learning Tasks 1 – Preliminary Activity Before we start, I want everybody to stand. ___________, kindly lead the prayer. Good morning class. Alright, you may now take your seat. Leaders of the group, please check the attendance. Are all present. Very good. Learning Tasks 2 – Drill Let us sing a song for a while.   • 2. 2 Learning Tasks 2 – Review What did we discuss last time? Alright, let us try answering this. Direction: Count the cubes to approximate the volume of each figure. 1.   • 3. 3 Learning Task 4– Motivation I want you to take a look of this illustration. What arethe information given in illustration? What do we call this illustration? Do you know how to use it?   • 4. 4 Learning Task 4 - Activity Now we will have a group activity. I will group you into three. Each group, I want you to choose your leader. This is the instruction. Group 1 will get the stars from the board. Group 2 will get the circle and Group 3 will get the square. Count the number of each shape and shade the numbers of each shape on the chart. Is it clear? I will give you five minutes to do this. But before that what are the standards to be followed in doing group activity? Alright let’s start. Learning Task 5 - Analysis Let’s find out if your answer is correct. Group 1, how many stars do you have? Post your shapes on the board. Group 2, How many circles do you have?   • 5. 5 Group 3, How many squares do you have? Is the chart correct? So, are the shapes on the board organized? Therefore, what is the use of graph? Very good. What kind of graph do we formed? Very good! And what is the bar graph? Do you know what the parts of bar graph are? Let us sing once again the song on the board. Legend, title, legend, title, Label, label. Vertical, horizontal, vertical, horizontal Making graph, making graph. Those are the parts of a bar graph. What do you think is the legend? Why did you say so? Very good. Another example: (Pupils post their shapes on the board.) 8 (Pupils post their shapes on the board.) Yes it is. Yes they are. We used it to organize something. Bar Graph. Who read most? No we don’t. Step 1: Find the greatest number in the data. Step 2: Make a scale from 0 to the greatest number. Step 3: Label the horizontal and vertical axes. Learning Task 7 – Application Use the graph to answer the following questions. 1. What is being compared in a graph? 2. How many pupils prefer to watch cartoons? Number of Books Read Names and no. of books. No. of books read by Carla’s friends. Graph is use to organize something?
