B. Developmental Activities
1. Motivation
 The teacher will divide the class into two groups.
 The teacher will present a chart and the students will supply all of the blank
circles by putting some words describing the characteristic of their
classmate provided in the illustration.
2. Activity
 The teacher will present a chart with the name of our National Hero “Dr.
Jose Rizal” and the students will characterize him using the chart by posting
some flash cards.
3. Analysis
Guided Questions:
 Did you enjoy the activity?
 What have you observed to the activity?
 Based on the activity, what will be our lesson for today?
4. Abstraction
 How you organized your ideas, actions, data, money and goals in life?
 Have you ever tried to organize your ideas through graphs?
 Does the graphs or illustrations help your comprehension in understanding
the idea of a given selection?
5. Application
 The teacher will divide the class into 2 groups and the teacher will present
a graph. The teacher will ask some students to answer the following
question of what the graph represents.
Questions:
1) What is the best cartoon program watched by the students.
2) What cartoon program got 18 number of viewers?
3) What is the program got the lowest number of viewers?
4) What are the cartoon programs got 12 number of viewers?
5) How many students prefer to watch Naruto?
IV. Evaluation
Direction: Answer specific questions from the given bar graph.
1. What subject got the lowest number of students’ choice?
2. What subject got the highest number of students’ choice?
3. How many students chose Math as their best subject?
4. What is the second best subject next to English?
5. How many students chose Science?
V. Assessment
Research in advance the other kind of graphs and illustration.

Motivation  The teacher will divide the class into two groups.  The teacher will present a chart and the students will supply all of the blank circles by putting some words describing the characteristic of their classmate provided in the illustration. 2. Activity  The teacher will present a chart with the name of our National Hero “Dr. Jose Rizal” and the students will characterize him using the chart by posting some flash cards. 3. Analysis Guided Questions:  Did you enjoy the activity?  What have you observed to the activity?  Based on the activity, what will be our lesson for today? 4. Abstraction  How you organized your ideas, actions, data, money and goals in life?  Have you ever tried to organize your ideas through graphs?  Does the graphs or illustrations help your comprehension in understanding the idea of a given selection? 5. Application
