The Beliefs Of Donald Trump And Trump Criticism
These are the NFL Players Protesting today amid Trump Criticism
Are Americans going about protesting their beliefs in the correct way? Standing during the National
Anthem has been a way Americans show respect for their country since the 1800 s, therefore not
standing is nothing short of disrespectful. Last year, former pro quarterback Colin Kaepernick started
kneeling during the National Anthem because he believed standing was social and racial injustice and
players today have followed his actions. After a statement from President Trump on Sunday,
September 24th, there has been nothing but more chaos and protests throughout our Nation s
professional football teams. All American citizens should know and understand that protesting is
perfectly acceptable but protesting and disrespecting something that is completely irrelevant is not,
there is nothing anyone can do about who the elected President is and you can t take everything
Donald Trump says seriously, but regardless of the situation, it is never acceptable Kneel during our
National Anthem. America is a country all about freedom, therefore those who choose to protest have
every right to do so but disrespecting something that has been a part of the American tradition for over
two hundred years is not the right way to go about it. Colin Kaepernick started the trend of kneeling
during the National Anthem last year and said he refuses to show pride in a flag for a country that

Don Jackson, The Best Nba Head Coach
Phillip Jackson is known as one of the best NBA head coaches of all time due to he had to lead the
Chicago Bulls to six titles and the Los Angeles Lakers to three titles. Before Phil became known as a
great head coach, he was an ordinary athlete. Jackson recruited to North Dakota University basketball
team. While attending the college, he helped his team win third and fourth place finishes in the NCAA
Division II championships. Coach Jackson understands the only collecting a set of outstanding players
will not make a championship team. His approach was the problem or project having components in
four different spheres which are Mental, logical, scientific, technical and Systems or how the parts all
connect and interact,.Emotional, feelings, intuition, and.Ethical, spiritual and issues of being. Phil
Jackson assumes the players have the technical and techniques. Therefore he emphasizes the spiritual
in developing the team. Jackson had seven feet plus a former pro player to coach other physical

that the individuals on the team must transform their view of themselves to connect to others to create
a synergy of teamwork. Jackson has given the nickname of the Zen Master to the game of basketball.

April 6, 2016
Socioeconomics, as defined by The American Psychological Association, is commonly conceptualized
as the social standing or class of an individual or group. It is often measured as a combination of
education, income and occupation. Socioeconomic inequality is the mal and unequal treatment of
individuals. Typically, based on the amount of income they are able to obtain, basic human needs such
as health care, education, adequate housing and other social services become unavailable. In this essay
I will examine how health care is affected by socioeconomic inequality in both Canada and the United

Another finding in their studies was demonstrating that 67 percent of less fortunate males have a
greater chance of passing away each year, and 52 percent of less fortunate females have a greater
chance than their well off partner. By the time they finished their study they had come to a conclusion
that if all Canadians were as healthy as the top 20 percent of income earners, there would be
approximately 40,000 fewer deaths each year. (Bryant, 2014, para. 4) According to the US Census
Bureau the average American is making approximately $50,756 each year. In America income
equality has a factor on a numerous amount of things. Not only are the paychecks very unequal, the
lifespan of rich people are increasingly longer than the lifespan of the poor American people.
According to Hamilton Health Sciences by the late 1990s the rich were living 4.5 years longer, and the
gap has only widened since then. Some other things it has a factor on are education and economic
growth.
Furthermore, according too Centers for Disease Control and Prevention social determinants of health
are economic and social conditions that influence the health of people and communities. Money,
power, and the resources that individuals have are what form these conditions. Health outcomes are
affected by social determinants of health factors such as the ability to obtain and maintain
employment, the development of a newborn in early stages

Importance Of Human Factors In Aviation
Introduction Human factors is the study of Human behaviour that has roughly been around for 2000
years. The study is based on how Humans behave physically and psychologically. In Aviation, human
factors have been applied since the last 70 years. The definition of human factors from the point of
aviation, means the same but in respect to the ergonomics of technology and the flight crew, within the
aircraft. The information is then converted into training, procedures and systemizing routines of the
flight crew simply in order for the safety and for the wellbeing of the crew and the society. Crew
health and lifestyle is essential when it comes to the wellbeing and the performance is vital to its
limitations, throughout the journey of the aircraft. When spoken about the word safety, it is often
associated about how boring or repetitive it is in the modern world yet the Aviation industry. Safety is
the freedom from any dangers. It is a word that people should take seriously and should be a preaching
word to change any ill practises. In the world of Aviation where mishaps would occur at any given
moment, the educated personnel are taught not to ever rely on luck, when it comes to safety. It all
comes down to the welfare of the individual, the welfare of the company that associates with the
individual and the family of the individual. That is the reason why safety is so critical and is one of the
very first things that is taught in every class, job or even at home. This

With competitors such as DreamWorks, and Pixar, Disney Incorporated uses a vividly apparent
strategy of sex appeal in order to raise their ratings. However, Disney is pushing the envelope and is
willing to subject the innocent public to such images for higher ratings. The industry that we are

The segment in question in occurs about midway through the movie when Simba, the hero, plops
down and a cloud of dust rises above him. As the dust begins to trail off, it forms the letters S E X,
with each letter fading as the next becomes clear (Mikkelson, 1996). In this next part, Simba is talking
to his father in the night sky where stars can be seen. Upon connecting these stars, a penis is formed
(Mikkelson, 1996). These messages can be identified as indirect hidden messages, which mean the
viewer was not directly intended to see the message, unless possibly looking for such material. The
hidden sexual messages are examples of how the creators of these movies know that sex in movies
boosts the sales. This is a terrible thing for movie executives to do, especially Disney, where the
majority of the audience is young children who do not need to see these disturbing gestures. The anti
abortion group, based in Stafford, Va., wants the Walt Disney Co. to remove The Lion King from
video stores (Giroux, 2000). One video store clerk was alerted of the appearance of the word, by a
woman who said her 4 year old son noticed it (Mikkelson, 1996). Michael Rhoades, who commented
for Disney stated the scene simply shows ``swirling dust in the night sky, seeing anything in The Lion
King other than a good wholesome family film is purely perception, he said (Studio History, 1998 ).

Alan Turing s War
Alan Turing was a renowned modern mathematician and cryptologist who became known as the father
of computer science and eventually became a gay rights icon for his persecution due to his
homosexuality. He was also extremely important in winning the second world war, developing the
world s first computer to combat and break the German message encrypting Enigma machine. In fact,
Winston Churchill, one of the most prominent figures of World War II, let alone the 20th century, said
that Turing made the single biggest contribution to Allied victory in the war against Nazi Germany
and its Axis partners. Without Alan Turing, the Allies wouldn t be able to know the Nazi plans and
could very likely have lost the war. Turing, too, developed the idea of ... Show more content on

He began a relationship with a man named Arnold Murray, having him over to his apartment on
frequent occasions. Murray later helped an accomplice break into Turing s house and steal many
valuable, amongst them, although thought to be unknown to the thieves, highly classified documents.
Turing reported the crime and admitted to having a sexual relationship with Murray. At the time,
homosexuality was illegal in the UK and so Turing was charged with gross indecency. He was then
given the choice of being imprisoned or chemically castrated with estrogen hormone injections,
choosing the latter. Turing s conviction also meant his security clearance was revoked and he was
barred from his cryptographic consultancy for the British government. The treatments subjected him
to years of pain and mental relapses from the hormonal imbalance, acting like a daily form of
chemical torture. His once amazing brilliance slowly began to wither as he became psychologically
traumatized from the drugs. He began to shake frequently as if he had Parkinson s disease and at one
point stabbed himself in his leg with a knife. Finally, on June 8th, 1954, Turing s cleaner found him
dead. It appeared that Turing committed suicide and poisoned himself using a cyanide laced apple. In
1966, the annual Turing Award was established and given each year to a person for technical
contributions to the computing community. It is generally viewed as important as the Nobel Prize.

The Crisis Of The United States Of America
During the mid 2000s, the global economy was impacted by one of the biggest financial catastrophes:
the subprime mortgage crisis. The housing market in the United States of America was on the decline
and it indirectly affected Canada. This case study will provide an overview of what happened before,
during and after the crisis in order to obtain an understanding of what could be applied to predict a
better future for North America as a whole and Canada individually. This case study also provides an
opportunity to appreciate the strong Canadian banking system and its goals to improve the overall
growth of the economy.

Canadian banks were less involved in subprime lending activities due to the rules and regulations
Canada falls under which would consequently result in less of an impact. Regardless of the origin of
the crisis, changes in the U.S. economy result in an impact on Canada. Through an economic
perspective, there are many models that would analyze and identify current and potential threats that
could shield Canada. The data includes information prior and after the crisis.
Financial Innovations:
From the data discovered based on the increase of technology, it provided an understanding of the
traditional process of being granted or providing loans and mortgages. Banks traditionally grant loans
to individuals or businesses that meet specific credit requirements and would receive periodic
payments. This process continues until the loan is fully paid off. Due to the increase in technology,
banks were able to lower their costs for transactions by securitizing loans electronically. This
innovation allowed them to bundle up all small loans into a standard debt security, which then could
be bought and sold in the financial market. This led to a structured credit product offering that
generated large cash flows from a collection of underlying assets with certain risk management.
Investors had the opportunity to pick and choose what they wanted to purchase depending on their

The French Revolution And The Arab Spring
Throughout history many societies have, and will likely continue to have revolutions as we as humans
strive towards a utopian society. Each and every one of these revolution follows some pattern, a
pattern that most often includes a great number of civilian casualties. But what is it that pushes such
revolutions forward? Why have people risked and given their lives fighting against their own
leadership? Looking at both the French Revolution and the Arab Spring can help uncover the answer
to these questions, as for people to willingly risk their lives, they must have been living in destitute
situations. Both of these societies did indeed have many social and economic problems, as well as a
poor quality of life, specifically for the bottom class, or in the case of the French Revolution, the Third
Estate. It is because of these issues that the people stood up to their leaders and demanded a better life,
overtaking the government in the process. Prior to the French Revolution enlightenment thinkers such
as Voltaire had been writing about equality and individual freedoms. These ideas began to catch hold
with the populous of France, who were almost all living in very poor conditions. Perhaps the most
important of these authors, in regards to the French Revolution, was John Locke who talked about the
idea of a decentralized government, a system where the people represented the people; a democracy.1
The people of France began to make a push for such equality, and in August of

Abstract:
In the light of ever increasing greenhouse gases, global energy use, the increasing cost of energy
services, concerns over energy supply security, climate change and local air pollution, this report
centers around the question of how CO2 emission can be reduced in long term. As transport system
plays a major role in the increased greenhouse gases, this report highlights the use of future vehicles in
the transport sector from an economic, technical and environmental point of view.
Through its multi disciplinary approach the report provides a knowledge base concerning different
strategies made by government and recent advancements in automobile sector in order to reduce

Low carbon fuel standards are rapidly becoming an part of the national debate over how to reduce
greenhouse gas emissions. Transport system plays a vital role in the increased greenhouse gases.
Increase in number of vehicles has increased the carbon emission rapidly. A pie chart gives you the
information about the total amount of CO2 emission by different sector in 2010. Electricity, heat
generation and transport system are the three major systems accounted for 63% of total CO2 emission
during the year 2010 (I E A Statistics, 2012).
The potential for increased levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere cost
of fossil fuels and high demand for non renewable fossil fuels has brought attention to CO2 emission
reduction strategies. Government has set some policy context and emissions standards for the

of the reasons his sister was giving in order to convince him to stay with their aunt. This did not sound
as a good idea for Vuthy, to him; there was no reason that substantiated his staying around with their

The theme of loneliness is also featured when their mother left them. She died some time back when
Vuthy was still young. In her words, Ra expresses the reason why she died. She claims that Vuthy
made their mother sick through ... being weird for not having friends (Burroway, 2011). Therefore, she

Frequent subgraph mining (FSM) is a crucial task for explorative information analysis on graph

Introduction
Crime events have the propensity of occurring in our daily routine activities. In order for a crime event
to occur there must be three elements: a motivated offender, a potential target or victim, and lack of
guardianship (Wilcox, 2015). Evaluating my own activity space, I was able to determine my nodes
and paths. By analyzing my nodes and space, I was able to establish a hot spot, which created a place
where criminal activity was prevalent. Using the Routine Activity Theory and Offender Search Theory
I was able to understand crime is prevalent in this area not only because of the motivated offender but
also because of the lack of guardianship, and pro criminal social and environmental factors, which
contribute to a continuous encouragement of criminal activity.
My Activity Space
I live in a small coastal town called Toledo, Oregon. The town has about 3,500 people and is located
approximately four miles east of Newport, Oregon. I live in a single story wood built home nestled in
a remote section of a neighborhood. The places I frequent on a regular basis in my community is my
work (Toledo Police Department; Toledo Oregon), my wife s work (Fred Meyers; Newport Oregon),
and my kids school (Newport High School). Schneider (2015) classifies the places where anyone

It is a recognised certainty that nutrition is a fundamental requirement to sustain a healthy lifestyle and

In pregnancy the body needs to produce cells to help with the development and nourishment of the
growing fetus; it also helps to make red blood cells . During pregnancy, risks can be associated with
toxaemia, premature birth and haemorrhaging if there is no folic acid in the diet (Youngson, 2005).
Folic acid contributes to several major biological processes and these include the combination of
RNA, DNA and proteins. It is needed to help with the repair and replication of DNA and the
maintenance of the genome and it is also involved in the regulation of gene expression (Hendler
Rorvik, 2008).
Folate is a natural occurrence in foods such as beans and pulses (e.g. lentils and chickpeas), leafy
green vegetables, broccoli, spinach, tuna and oranges (Tiran, 2000). Some foods are also fortified with
folic acid such as cereals and bread. Late in the 1990 s United State scientists came to the realisation
that despite the availability of folic acid in supplements as well as foods available in the supermarkets,
people were still finding it a challenge to meet their daily folate requirement; with this in mind the
United States of America implemented the folate fortification program (Latimes.com). For women of
childbearing age, folic acid consumption needed to be increased so in January of 1998 the United
States food and drug administration authorised a folic acid fortification of all products containing

Why Did Germany Lose Ww1
During World War I, Germany was involved in a two front war with France, Britain and Belgium on
the Western front and Russia on the Eastern front. In hopes of preventing a loss in the war, Germany
devised the Schlieffen plan to ensure victory; However, not only did their plan for war fail to
recognize potential threats and factors, but their lack of communication and cooperation also
contributed to an overall defeat. Germany s loss in the two front war and World War I was ultimately
the fault of their poor strategizing.
Germany, the once dominating country of Europe, was inferior to the other European powers, and
neighboring states desired to conquer them in fear of the country s inclining growth and hostility.
Aware of this, Kaiser Wilhelm ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Soon after Austria Hungary declared war on Serbia, Russian armies mobilized in support of the
Serbians in 1914. In fear that Russia would fully mobilize sooner than expected, Moltke was forced to
send troops from the western front to the eastern front two years prior to the scheduled date. Due to a
lack of preparation and reasonable strategy, The Schlieffen Plan failed to execute properly. Thirty four
divisions were expected to invade Belgium and rapidly attack France with little resistance from
Belgium, and a smaller army was scheduled to remain prepared to battle the responsive French army
on the Franco German frontier and gradually progress eastward, enticing the French army to move
forward, eventually resulting in the defeat of the French. Afterwards, the front lines were expected to
move towards Russia. This, however, did not go as scheduled because the Plan lacked flexibility, and
every mistake and delay would further destroy Germany s possibility of victory. As German troops
arrived in Belgium, they realized that they had, mistakenly, underestimated the Belgian army, which
refused to permit them from entering France through their land. Instead, they engaged in a lengthy
battle with the German

National Park, California And Nevada Mountains Of California
Do you know where the highest waterfall in North America is? Do you know where the mountains
still grow 1 foot every 1000 years? Both of these facts are true in Yosemite National Park.
Yosemite National Park is Located in the southern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. It is

The park s granite is made up of smaller bodies of granite. This is one reason why there are many
varieties of granite. Weathering of exposed granite is slow because weathering depends on whether
there is moisture or not. Edges and corners of joint granite blocks are more affected when weathering
occurs. Unweathered remains of granite turns into rounded boulders. Small natural depressions turn
into weather pit when water collects in a depression on granitic surfaces. A possible explanation for
weathering is that alternate wetting and drying along the pools that collect in the pans. Darker granitic
rocks are high in biotite and weather quicker than the lighter rocks. The foothills are located at the
west edge of the park and eastern summit area. They are remains of ancient rocks and sediments.
Evolution of the landscape is a big part of the geology just like the rocks themself. As the earth
became cooler, the sierra nevada mountains rose high enough for creating glaciers and mountain
icefields. The majority of Yosemite is made of plutonic, igneous rock. The plutonic rocks were formed
by intrusions of magma into older rocks. These are as old as 130 million years. Forms of plutonic
rocks in Yosemite are granite, granodiorite, tonalite, quartz monorite, and quartz monzodiorite.
Metamorphic rocks have been changed by pressure that can result in being buried in earth. There are 2
belts of metamorphic rocks, one on each side of the batholith of plutonic

Libertarian Feminism Essay
The word feminist has caused turmoil wherever it is uttered. It has gained a negative connotation, and
is often mistaken with misandry. While these claims may be true for a minimal number of feminists,
the truth is that in order to get an accurate representation on what feminists actually believe one would
have to go to the source. The two main problems with that, are that first of all, it is not rigidly
structured or led by a single figure or group , and most importantly there is not just one kind of
feminism, there are hundreds in each aspect of our life (Tavaana, 2014). The most under represented
group within feminism is the kind that is in the government. Not all have the same theories, and

Libertarian feminists claim that the root of female oppression lies in women s ability to bear children
(Gibbs, 2006, p.g 71 93). Liberal feminists on the other hand focus on personal and political
autonomy, and see the root of female oppression to be the existence of gender roles. Among all these
different kind of feminism, a single political agenda binds them together, a common purpose; gender
equality. Like most things, there are misconceptions about certain subjects. For example the media
tends to focus on feminist extremist, and (knowingly or unknowingly) perpetuates the stereotype that
feminists hate men, and that their agenda includes the eventual societal elevation above men. Nothing
could be further from the truth since the actual definition of feminism is, The advocacy of women s
rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men. (Oxford Dictionary, 2014).
Here we see that it is not a competition to the top of the pyramid, rather it is an effort to join the sexes
in equality. The problem that arises from the definition is the lack of explanation of the methods, and
ideologies, and that is breeding ground for speculation and therefore misconceptions. The solution to
this problem is simple; we must acknowledge that there are different methods employed by different
women to reach equality. The famous televangelist, Pat Robertson had this to say about feminism in
his letter to an equal rights amendment to the

Abstract
When we study the history of psychology one might assume there were minimal female contributors,
but that is a big misconception. Women in the past struggled with discrimination and many hurdles to
gain recognition for their work. Women psychologists have gone largely unrecognized, unappreciated,
and almost unseen to historical accounts. The lack of acknowledgement for women psychologists in
today s study takes away from the comprehensive study to our generation. It is exceedingly important
that we receive a well rounded education of all the great psychologists in history and not only the male
founders. The following women I will discuss mention only a few who have made an influence in
psychology. Keywords: women, psychologist, discrimination, unrecognition, history
Important Women in the History of Psychology The study of psychology today seems to have

Syntax And Diction In Thomas Jefferson s Declaration Of...
The Declaration of Independence is formal. In The Declaration of Independence Thomas Jefferson
calls for the separation of the American colonists from the grips of an abusive and tyrannical England.
He makes his position clear to the colonist and most importantly the world by using persuasive
appeals, syntax and diction. In the first two paragraphs he not only establishes the credibility of the
revolutionaries, but also lays out a logical argument that sets forth the philosophical beliefs upon
which America was founded. Beginning in line 45 Jefferson lays down his massive list of specific
grievances that the King of England has committed against America. He states that he is very well

So after all of these cries for action the Americans have come to the conclusion that their so called
brethren are, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends. The chiasmus conveys perfectly that Jefferson and the
colonies are willing to go to war with even their families for the price of freedom. The chiasmus
ending Jefferson s second to last paragraph also further establishes his credibility. It shows that he and
his revolutionaries will stand by their unalienable rights, no matter the cost. In the final paragraph
Jefferson again furthers his credibility when he calls his fellow revolutionaries, the good People of
these Colonies. This statement in essence means that colonist are not uncivilized monsters who just
want to get rid of the king, but are actual good natured people. Jefferson climaxes the last paragraph
with the statement, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor, a
chilling statement that ultimately paints its speaker and his cohorts as heroes willing to risk their

Contract Law From Law And Economics Perspective
b. Contract Law from Law and Economics Perspective
Voluntary exchange is of the utmost importance in being able to transfer resources from less to more
valuable uses and to the hands of those that value them the most. This process of exchange does not
face many obstacles when the parties to a transaction can perform their obligations in a simultaneous
manner. In today s world, most transfers of resources occur through contracts and require agreements
as to how, where, and at what price the transfer will occur at some time in the future. This is why
protection of contract rights is essential.
While voluntary exchange would not necessarily break down entirely without any form of contract
law, it would be highly inefficient. In a legal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If efficiency is not enforced through contract law it will bias investment toward economic activity that
can only be conducted in a short time period. This will reduce efficiency in the market and lead to
misallocation of resources.
Here is a simple example of how the lack of contract law s existence would affect how parties
interacted in the sale of goods and services. Professor Chrisman has advertised that he has a hog (not
to be confused with a pig), worth $100 to him, for sale and now has two potential purchasers. Buyer
one, Professor Todd, has offered to purchase the hog today from $150 (he is risk adverse and believes
that price of pigs is going to increase drastically over the next year). Buyer two, Professor Hesch, has
offered to purchase the hog next Saturday at graduation for $200. If Professor Chrisman lives in a
system without contract law he will accept Professor Todd s offer of $150 today because he will be
worried that Professor Hesch will change his mind before graduation and Professor Todd will have
bought another hog. The law s failure to enforce contract law has caused an inefficient misallocation
of resources because Professor Chrisman cannot enforce the promise made by Professor Hesch and
will not be incentivized to take the risk of selling the hog to him.
The single purpose and goal of all contract law is to impose contract liability only where it creates
incentives to encourage value maximizing conduct in the future.

Pros And Cons Of The Iphone
Pros and Cons of the Iphone
Technology is a useful servant, but a dangerous master. The iphone is something that everybody uses,
wait, have you ever heard about unknown things about the iphone. There is many things you should

the best devices of all time, there is amazing gadgets and uses to it, but some of the parts of it are the
worst, breathtaking things that could be on it. If you want to know everything possible about this
device, than you are going to want to read the pros and cons of this so that you are ready for what s to

To start off, I will to state all of the cons of the iphone to get them out of the way. The biggest one that
I have found that you may want to know is that once you get attached to it you will not be able to get
your hands off of it, after which you will have to pay for data and wifi sometimes. This can last for
years without any problems until you drop it and your screen will not turn on. Initially there is a way
to fix this, but once it happens there is no reversing time. Another thing connecting that is you can buy
lifeproof phone cases, except for the fact that they can be hundreds of dollars and it may not be worth
it. Also, if you have saved data onto your iphone and it breaks, if you don t back it up then you lose
everything. Apple iPhone does not support flash so you will not be able to use some sites. (Street

would help to break the cycle of upper middle class diversity, allow lower income students to start

Sexual Selection Research Paper
Sexual selection means many different things to many different individuals. Some may say that it can
be defined by sex differences and others say that it is primarily the difference in male individuals.
According to Charles Darwin, sexual selection can simply be defined as competition for mates.
Competition for mates, mate choice, and courtship behavior are all closely related and provide
evidence for sexual selection. They are all very common in sexual selection. They help with the
process of evolution.
Male male competition happens frequently in competition for mates. Competition in mates during
sexual selection usually includes males being anxious to compete with one another for access to other
mates, such as females. On the other hand, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Sexual behavior and other reproductive characters are the most basic criteria for suspecting sexual
selection in a species of organisms(Leonard, 2006). One organism who provides an example of
courtship behavior includes land snails. Land snails exhibit elaborate courtship behavior by shooting
their partner with a calcareous when mating. The calcareous is about a centimeter long. The long
calcareous is referred to as a love dart. When the snail is shot with the love dart, sperm is released
which can then be released and fertilize the other partner s eggs. This process is an example of a
bizarre sexual behavior. It is labeled as bizarre because it is out of the ordinary and the result from
being shot with the love dart can sometimes be unfortunate. Love darts can sometimes cause
accidental deaths in the snails. They can also ultimately lower the fertility rate of the snail because of
the damage that is done to the body when the dart is inserted. Another example of unusual conduct is
apophallation, which can be found in two different types of slugs. Apophallation is when sexual
intercourse is sometimes ended by the removal of the penis of one or both of the individuals. Studies
have suggested that individuals who exhibit courtship behavior also tend to exhibit aggressive
behavior(Chiver and Schlinger, 2016). Although elaborate and bizarre behavior is common in many

The Vs. Teleological Defence
Given that evil and suffering exist within the world, there cannot exist an omnipotent, all loving,
perfect, ontologically separate God.
In the early 21st century much evil has risen, such as terrorism, poverty, convivial dispute and the
continual surge of natural disasters destroying land, homes and killing thousands of people. With all of
this famine humans are experiencing on a daily basis, it seems inconceivable that an omnipotent, all
loving, ontologically separate God can exist. Despite the theists arguments via the Freewill and
Teleological defence, both have many flaws and weaknesses due to the lack of supporting evidence
and on occasions contradicting the Christian religion itself. The only explanation that acts as a strong
asset for the co existence of God is the Transpersonal Solipsism ideology. However, it still produces
doubts on Gods existence being ontologically separate. The issue of How can God exist when there is
evil in the world is highly regarded as the strongest challenge towards Gods existence, however moral
evil, produced by humans, is a result of freewill, which God granted all humans. If freewill is not a
logical impossibility for man to choose good, then there is no logical impossibility of man choosing
good for every occasion. The fact that moral evil does exist proves that humans are not perfect and if
God is omnipotent and perfect, then a perfect god should have made perfect things.

Students With An Optimum Learning Experience By Creating A...
Chapter Two: Literature Review
Introduction
Professionals in the field of education want to provide students with an optimum learning experience
by creating a favorable atmosphere (Lane McWhirter, 1992). Dauber and Epstein stated that a healthy
learning environment in school can lead to academic achievement (as cited in J. Noaks L. Noaks,
2009). Within existing educational structure opportunities for empowerment of students is limited,
according to Wyness (as cited in Sellman, 2011). Educators spend more time teaching pupils how to
be good citizens when they grow up instead of providing them opportunities to engage in civic duties
at school (Sellman, 2011). Students are citizen too and should be held accountable for improving their
own lives, working conditions, and relationships. This literature review is presented under the
following subheadings: conflict, conflict resolution, peer mediation research, benefits of peer
mediation, and peer mediation downfalls. The purpose of this literature review is to understand what
conflict is and how it can be resolved peacefully. Conflict resolution can be taught using peer
mediation framework to guide teachers and students. Peer mediation can be a positive experience for
students but there are specific points to consider before implementation of a peer mediation program
at school.

The Importance Of Life In Victorian London
Victorian London was a charnel house of the dead; a city oozing horror and nowhere more so than a
small chapel where they danced on the dead.
By 1842 London was the modern mega city of the world. For some of her 2.5 million inhabitants it
was an exciting, fashionable and thriving metropolis. For many it was a city of squalor, decay,
epidemics and early death and the disposal of the dead was becoming an increasing problem for the
living.
London s population had exploded but the authorities did not plan for the increasing numbers of the
dead. Burial grounds and churchyards were filled beyond capacity with coffins stacked on top of each
other in deep shafts. Open graves sat just feet from the living world. The dead lay amongst the living

Eventually campaigners, led by the sanitary reformer George Walker, took over the chapel in 1847 and
starting exhuming the dead, moving the remains to the new Norwood Cemetery. This process became
another spectacle for Londoners who gathered to stare at the pyramid of bones...exposed to view 4.
Enon Chapel was not the only place where such practices occurred, but it was the most notorious and
provided useful propaganda horror for reform campaigners such as Walker. The government finally
responded to the pressure, passing the Burial Act in 1852 that closed burial grounds in the city. It
paved the way to the development of the great Victorian cemeteries of Highgate, Nunhead and Kensal
Green.
Clements Lane has become St. Clements Lane but the chapel is long gone, demolished for
development. The present site is now home to the London School of Economics and the Law Courts.
London is a clean and efficient city but its foundations and compacted layers are soaked in the
effluence and mixed with the bones of its ancient

The Kennewick Man Summary
Based on the research conducted by the Forensic Anthropologist Chatters on the skeletal remains of
the Kennewick man, he seems to be a European migrant. The man definitely belonged to the western
hemisphere, as definitive characteristics indicate so. Furthermore, he could belong either to the east or
to the west of the Atlantic, since forensic studies indicate that his diet was strongly composed of
Anadromous fish fish born in the sea and lives in fresh water, before returning to the sea to spawn. As
the video The first Americans Part 1 mentions the European roots that the Kennewick man had, I
would agree with the claims of the forensic anthropologist that the man had a European descent. The
video also mentioned that Native Americans themselves

Seven Samurai Character Traits
As the above quotation proving how critical it was for the farmers and the samurai to unite.
Energizing the farmers was a hard task as they feared for their lives, however the samurai begun to
teach the peasants how to fight and defend themselves, once again showing their loyalty.
Kambei, kikuchiyo and kyuzo are three characters kurosawas gives specific bushido values too, while
each influencing the movie greatly through the budido virtues. In Akira Kurosawa s the seven Samurai
(1954), Kambei s character is created with unique characteristics so he can excel as a leader, therefore
being the main character throughout the film. Kambei is given an early task of assembling a team of
seven samurai to ultimately defend the famer s village from bandits. Recognized early in the film is

Kambei becomes the first Samurai recruited by the villagers, however, he now has the seemingly
impossible task of locating six more samurai warriors to accompany him in battle. As a matter of fact,
I m preparing for a tough war. It will bring us neither money nor fame. Want to join? (Kurosawa 33).
The above quotation illustrates how Kambei bluntly invites the samurai to join him while lacking any
real benefits to bargain besides a warm bed and rice. Kambei uses his shear experience and character
traits to lure the samurai into his group. Obvious to the readers Kambei is a man of honor in
everything he does. Between assembling each samurai at the beginning, to winning the last battle
against the bandits, Kambei never forgets the bushido virtue of honor. Although it can be argued,
Kambei does follow each one of the Bushido virtues, but his honor is what sets him apart from the
rest. In Roger Ebert s (The Seven Samurai) film review he further backs up this point as he describes
kambeis character. He is a calm, wise leader and a good strategian, and we follow the battles partly
because he (and Kurosawa) map them out for us, walk us through the village s

Olaudah Equiano s Influence
The Influence and Career of Olaudah Equiano There have been many authors throughout history who
have impacted America, amongst them is Olaudah Equiano. Olaudah Equiano, a slave who wrote
about his terrible experiences, not only changed America, but changed the world. Equiano s life and
career were divided in two parts: his life as a slave and his life as a free man. He battled the slave
ships and helped abolish the slave institutions with the power and depth of his writings. Equiano s
most powerful piece of literature was The Interesting Narrative of the life of Olaudah Equiano because
of its devastating impact on the slave trade. Olaudah traveled from country to country selling his book
and promoting the anti slave movement. He ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While alive, he and William Wilberforce fought with other abolitionists to bring down slavery. After
his passing the world changed for the better when slave ships were no longer permitted in England.
Once this happened, ripples spread throughout the world, leading many other countries to abolish
slavery including the United States of America. Equiano exhibited no bitterness or anger, revealing a
moral superiority over his tormentors that spoke volumes about the potential of the human spirit. He in
his very actions and way of treating others proved that he was in fact completely correct.
(norfolkblackhistorymonth.org). His spirit led the abolition movements even after he died. He not only
changed the world s morals as a whole, but also changed how slaves themselves stood up to slavery.
Equiano impacted the whole entire genre of slave writings. He was a major example in encouraging
slaves to stand up and fight with the use of language. Olaudah s left behind his memories to the people
of today, showing that slavery is wrong. Equiano proved to everyone that a black man could be just as
smart, and in this case even smarter than many white men. A young boy, born in Africa, stripped of his
name, and sold into slavery would become an anti slavery hero. Olaudah Equiano became one of the
most powerful leaders ever to live. Equiano could have

Canterbury Tales Characteristics
In Geoffrey Chaucer s The Canterbury Tales which portrays a community of people from differing
social backgrounds that come from all of England for a pilgrimage to Canterbury. On this pilgrimage
they wish to receive blessings from St. Thomas á Becket, an English martyr. They all meet at the
Tabard Inn in April, the beginning of spring. Chaucer whom is the narrator goes on to describe the
other twenty nine pilgrims, and the Host of the inn suggests that they should each tell two stories to
help pass the time. Whoever tells the best tale will receive a free meal from the Host. Many of these
tales reflected the medieval society and culture at the time. The Canterbury Tales has many different
genres such as courtly romance, Breton, tragedy, and etc. Also, it was written in Middle English as it
was tales that the common people of London could enjoy. In total there are 24 tales, some
uncompleted however, with the tales that are finished or nearly finished, an interesting one is Franklin
s tale. In Chaucer s general prologue the Franklin is characterized as a ruddy and cheerful man. The
Franklin is a middle class citizen that works as the sheriff and tax auditor. In line 338 9 the Franklin is
described as: For he was Epicurus very son, That held opinion that plain and pure delight... meaning
that his goal in life was to pleasure or to live in the moment. The Franklin s house was never short of
food such as fish or pies. These lines also describe him as: Saint Julian he was in his own country (l.
342) Saint Julian was the patron saint of hospitality meaning that Chaucer is stating that the Franklin
is a generous and kind man. One could also conclude that he was an alcoholic, but besides that is a
overall good citizen. However, he was broken one of the seven deadly sins which is being gluttoned.
In the prologue of his tale, the Franklin gives a disclaimer that he is a simple man and does not know
the rhetoric. Franklin states that he I slept never on the Mount of Parnassus, Nor learned Marcus
Tullius Cicero (l. 721 2). He is referring to the home of Muses, which is the home of music and poetry,
and Cicero the scholar. The Franklin is going to tell this story as best as he can through his simple
speech. The tale

  • 2. The Beliefs Of Donald Trump And Trump Criticism These are the NFL Players Protesting today amid Trump Criticism Are Americans going about protesting their beliefs in the correct way? Standing during the National Anthem has been a way Americans show respect for their country since the 1800 s, therefore not standing is nothing short of disrespectful. Last year, former pro quarterback Colin Kaepernick started kneeling during the National Anthem because he believed standing was social and racial injustice and players today have followed his actions. After a statement from President Trump on Sunday, September 24th, there has been nothing but more chaos and protests throughout our Nation s professional football teams. All American citizens should know and understand that protesting is perfectly acceptable but protesting and disrespecting something that is completely irrelevant is not, there is nothing anyone can do about who the elected President is and you can t take everything Donald Trump says seriously, but regardless of the situation, it is never acceptable Kneel during our National Anthem. America is a country all about freedom, therefore those who choose to protest have every right to do so but disrespecting something that has been a part of the American tradition for over two hundred years is not the right way to go about it. It is often measured as a combination of education, income and occupation. Socioeconomic inequality is the mal and unequal treatment of individuals. Another finding in their studies was demonstrating that 67 percent of less fortunate males have a greater chance of passing away each year, and 52 percent of less fortunate females have a greater chance than their well off partner. By the time they finished their study they had come to a conclusion that if all Canadians were as healthy as the top 20 percent of income earners, there would be approximately 40,000 fewer deaths each year. (Bryant, 2014, para. 4) According to the US Census Bureau the average American is making approximately $50,756 each year. In America income equality has a factor on a numerous amount of things. Not only are the paychecks very unequal, the lifespan of rich people are increasingly longer than the lifespan of the poor American people. Each and every one of these revolution follows some pattern, a pattern that most often includes a great number of civilian casualties. But what is it that pushes such revolutions forward? Why have people risked and given their lives fighting against their own leadership? Looking at both the French Revolution and the Arab Spring can help uncover the answer to these questions, as for people to willingly risk their lives, they must have been living in destitute situations. Both of these societies did indeed have many social and economic problems, as well as a poor quality of life, specifically for the bottom class, or in the case of the French Revolution, the Third Estate. It is because of these issues that the people stood up to their leaders and demanded a better life, overtaking the government in the process. Prior to the French Revolution enlightenment thinkers such as Voltaire had been writing about equality and individual freedoms. These ideas began to catch hold with the populous of France, who were almost all living in very poor conditions. Perhaps the most important of these authors, in regards to the French Revolution, was John Locke who talked about the idea of a decentralized government, a system where the people represented the people; a democracy.1 The people of France began to make a push for such equality, and in August of ... During pregnancy, risks can be associated with toxaemia, premature birth and haemorrhaging if there is no folic acid in the diet (Youngson, 2005). Folic acid contributes to several major biological processes and these include the combination of RNA, DNA and proteins. It is needed to help with the repair and replication of DNA and the maintenance of the genome and it is also involved in the regulation of gene expression (Hendler Rorvik, 2008). Folate is a natural occurrence in foods such as beans and pulses (e.g. lentils and chickpeas), leafy green vegetables, broccoli, spinach, tuna and oranges (Tiran, 2000). Some foods are also fortified with folic acid such as cereals and bread. Late in the 1990 s United State scientists came to the realisation that despite the availability of folic acid in supplements as well as foods available in the supermarkets, people were still finding it a challenge to meet their daily folate requirement; with this in mind the United States of America implemented the folate fortification program (Latimes.com). The most under represented group within feminism is the kind that is in the government. Not all have the same theories, and therefore, do not have the same ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Libertarian feminists claim that the root of female oppression lies in women s ability to bear children (Gibbs, 2006, p.g 71 93). Liberal feminists on the other hand focus on personal and political autonomy, and see the root of female oppression to be the existence of gender roles. Among all these different kind of feminism, a single political agenda binds them together, a common purpose; gender equality. Like most things, there are misconceptions about certain subjects. For example the media tends to focus on feminist extremist, and (knowingly or unknowingly) perpetuates the stereotype that feminists hate men, and that their agenda includes the eventual societal elevation above men. Nothing could be further from the truth since the actual definition of feminism is, The advocacy of women s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men. (Oxford Dictionary, 2014). Here we see that it is not a competition to the top of the pyramid, rather it is an effort to join the sexes in equality. The problem that arises from the definition is the lack of explanation of the methods, and ideologies, and that is breeding ground for speculation and therefore misconceptions. The solution to this problem is simple; we must acknowledge that there are different methods employed by different women to reach equality. Women psychologists have gone largely unrecognized, unappreciated, and almost unseen to historical accounts. The lack of acknowledgement for women psychologists in today s study takes away from the comprehensive study to our generation. Contract Law from Law and Economics Perspective Voluntary exchange is of the utmost importance in being able to transfer resources from less to more valuable uses and to the hands of those that value them the most. This process of exchange does not face many obstacles when the parties to a transaction can perform their obligations in a simultaneous manner. In today s world, most transfers of resources occur through contracts and require agreements as to how, where, and at what price the transfer will occur at some time in the future. This is why protection of contract rights is essential. While voluntary exchange would not necessarily break down entirely without any form of contract law, it would be highly inefficient. If efficiency is not enforced through contract law it will bias investment toward economic activity that can only be conducted in a short time period. This will reduce efficiency in the market and lead to misallocation of resources. Here is a simple example of how the lack of contract law s existence would affect how parties interacted in the sale of goods and services. Professor Chrisman has advertised that he has a hog (not to be confused with a pig), worth $100 to him, for sale and now has two potential purchasers. Buyer one, Professor Todd, has offered to purchase the hog today from $150 (he is risk adverse and believes that price of pigs is going to increase drastically over the next year). Buyer two, Professor Hesch, has offered to purchase the hog next Saturday at graduation for $200. If Professor Chrisman lives in a system without contract law he will accept Professor Todd s offer of $150 today because he will be worried that Professor Hesch will change his mind before graduation and Professor Todd will have bought another hog. The law s failure to enforce contract law has caused an inefficient misallocation of resources because Professor Chrisman cannot enforce the promise made by Professor Hesch and will not be incentivized to take the risk of selling the hog to him. The single purpose and goal of all contract law is to impose contract liability only where it creates incentives to encourage value maximizing conduct in the future. ... Competition for mates, mate choice, and courtship behavior are all closely related and provide evidence for sexual selection. They are all very common in sexual selection. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Sexual behavior and other reproductive characters are the most basic criteria for suspecting sexual selection in a species of organisms(Leonard, 2006). One organism who provides an example of courtship behavior includes land snails. Land snails exhibit elaborate courtship behavior by shooting their partner with a calcareous when mating. The calcareous is about a centimeter long. The long calcareous is referred to as a love dart. When the snail is shot with the love dart, sperm is released which can then be released and fertilize the other partner s eggs. This process is an example of a bizarre sexual behavior. It is labeled as bizarre because it is out of the ordinary and the result from being shot with the love dart can sometimes be unfortunate. Love darts can sometimes cause accidental deaths in the snails. They can also ultimately lower the fertility rate of the snail because of the damage that is done to the body when the dart is inserted. Another example of unusual conduct is apophallation, which can be found in two different types of slugs. Apophallation is when sexual intercourse is sometimes ended by the removal of the penis of one or both of the individuals. Studies have suggested that individuals who exhibit courtship behavior also tend to exhibit aggressive behavior(Chiver and Schlinger, 2016). In the early 21st century much evil has risen, such as terrorism, poverty, convivial dispute and the continual surge of natural disasters destroying land, homes and killing thousands of people. With all of this famine humans are experiencing on a daily basis, it seems inconceivable that an omnipotent, all loving, ontologically separate God can exist. Despite the theists arguments via the Freewill and Teleological defence, both have many flaws and weaknesses due to the lack of supporting evidence and on occasions contradicting the Christian religion itself. The only explanation that acts as a strong asset for the co existence of God is the Transpersonal Solipsism ideology. However, it still produces doubts on Gods existence being ontologically separate. The issue of How can God exist when there is evil in the world is highly regarded as the strongest challenge towards Gods existence, however moral evil, produced by humans, is a result of freewill, which God granted all humans. If freewill is not a logical impossibility for man to choose good, then there is no logical impossibility of man choosing good for every occasion. Within existing educational structure opportunities for empowerment of students is limited, according to Wyness (as cited in Sellman, 2011).
