ItzCash Card Limited is India’s largest prepaid card issuer with more than 10 million customers. Started in 2007 this
company has established businesses such as Distribution business, Consumer business and Corporate business. I am
part of the newly established Government business team responsible to introduce prepaid solutions across
Government clients.
About the Job
I joined the company in the capacity of Assistant Manager Government Business, my job initially involved me to be a
part of the Business Development team actively sourcing for mandates within the various state departments in
Western India. Once we received the mandates my role was to actively get involved at execution processes and
overseeing the execution. I am involved in three key projects namely:
1) IIT Bombay Cashless Campus initiative: This project has won the prestigious US Paybefore 2013 awards.
It is the one of the first projects in the country where NFC technology is introduced for making a campus
cashless. My role in this project was:
a. client relationship management
b. overseeing the field operations onsite at IIT Bombay where I had a team of 3 people
2) Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT) for Scholarships at Wardha district: My role in this project was:
a. to ensure timely activation and issuance of accounts to the student beneficiaries
b. Establish a process for seamless transfer of scholarship benefits from the government to the
student through the sponsor bank, NPCI Aadhaar Payment bridge (APB) and the host bank
c. Establish an acceptance infrastructure in and around the target colleges
