This document discusses data security in cloud computing through AES encryption on the DriveHQ cloud platform. It provides an overview of AES encryption, which consists of substitution bytes, shifting rows, mixing columns, and adding round keys. The performance of AES encryption on DriveHQ is evaluated by encrypting a 4kB plaintext file into ciphertext. The delay in encryption for different file sizes is also calculated to ensure data security as the number of cloud users and data flows increase.
