This document describes an accident detection and monitoring system using IoT. The system uses sensors like a vibration sensor, MEMS sensor, heartbeat sensor and gas sensor to detect if an accident has occurred. If an accident is detected, the Arduino mega controller sends an alert message via GSM and GPS to notify emergency services. The GPS location is also sent so emergency services know the exact location of the accident. Additional sensors measure oxygen levels and heartbeat of victims. All sensor data is sent to a server where it can be monitored via a webpage. This system allows for quick emergency response and monitoring of accident victims to help save lives.

If obstacle is in front of the vehicle less than safety distance, automatically brakes will be applied or if vehicle comes from backside of the vehicle and is at less than safety distance then the warning light is shown to vehicle. A low-cost and simple distributed sensors model that is particularly suitable for measuring eye blink of the driver, accident and hand position on a steering wheel. These sensors can be used in automotive active safety systems that aim at detecting driver’s fatigue, a major issue to prevent road accidents. The key point of this approach is to design a prototype of sensor units, so that it can serve as platform for integrating different kinds of sensors into the steering wheel. Since the sensors are attached to the steering wheel, therefore they can’t be detached by the driver. It will also detect dangerous stylish driving which may lead to fatal accidents. The major drawback is that the eye blink sensors frame worn by the driver can be removed causing the sensor non-operational. The outcome is that the vibrator attached to eye blink sensor’s frame vibrates if the driver shuts his eyes for approximately 3 seconds and also the LCD displays the respective warning message. The wheel is slowed or stopped depending on the condition. This is accompanied by the vehicle’s owner being notified through the GSM module, so the owner can retrieve the driver’s location, photograph and a list of nearby police stations through an android mobile application. Therefore, driver can be alerted during drowsiness and the owner can be notified simultaneously.

In the Philippines, motorcycle was the answer to most people transportation needs. With the increasing number of a motorcycle rider in the Philippines safety is the utmost concern. Today technology plays a huge role on how this safety can be assured. We now see advances in connected devices. Devices can sense its surrounding through sensor attach to it. With this in mind, this study focuses on the development of a wearable device named Smart Motorcycle Helmet or simply Smart Helmet, whose main objective is to help motorcycle rider in times of emergency. Utilizing sensors such as alcohol level detector, crash/impact sensor, Internet connection thru 3G, accelerometer, Short Message Service (SMS) and cloud computing infrastructure connected to a Raspberry Pi Zero-W and integrating a separate Arduino board for the antitheft tracking module is used to develop the propose Internet-of Things (IoT) device.

severely injured. Taking into account the ever increasing population, in India alone there occurs about a million auto-mobile
accidents according to analysis and this number only keeps increasing with time. According to various studies conducted, almost 50%
of these accidents are caused due to drivers being highly distracted or tired and drowsy. With this project we aim to create a working
piece of technology that could help drivers prevent getting distracted or drowsy on the steering wheel and act in time to prevent
mishaps by alerting them in time. For this we will make use of machine learning and use Keras package to build a CNN model that
will be able to classify if the driver is drowsy or distracted from the input images or video and ring an alert tone or bell if detected correctly giving the driver an early warning and some time to make corrections.

With the increase of vehicles and cars of different kind and the large movement that occurs every day on the roads it was natural to observe an increase in traffic accidents, but the real dilemma lies in how to make the rescue process efficient. The problem that we want to solve is the response of ambulances towards accidents and the lengthy registration process of patients in hospitals. In the above two scenarios, the manual process of calling the ambulance leads to delay in rescue of patients from an accident and the delay in registration of patient leads to delay in medication or treatment of the patient. We want to make the process more efficient by automating accident detection for increasing the efficiency of the ambulance rescue process and by sending the details of the patient before the patient reaches the hospitals for faster treatment of patients. Along with this, alert messages will be sent to the family or friends of the patients to notify them as soon as an accident is detected.

This project proposes drowsiness detection and notification system for vehicles and a mobile application for car maintenance. The major objective of the system is to prevent the road accidents caused by driver falling asleep during the travel. The system for drowsiness detection has a camera that monitors the driver’s eye continuously. It calculates the eye aspect ratio to detect if the driver is drowsy. If found drowsy, alarm rings. In this project, a Raspberry Pi board is used for drowsiness detection and alerting the driver. The IoT based mobile application built using android studio proposed here has certain settings like next service date, interval for wheel air checking, interval for wheel alignment. Message transmitting sensors are equipped in the speedometer of bike and also in the bike’s helmet. The most important feature of the bike is that the bike’s engine gets start only when the person wears helmet. This system also checks the approaching vehicle’s speed on either side of the road and generate vibrations in the bike’s handlebar. This advanced development is bringing about a new era of productivity for the latest ideas on an astounding scale, understanding their efficiency, speed and functionality.

IoT Based Accident Avoidance and Detection System for Two WheelersIJASRD Journal
The World Health Organization (WHO) pointed out that about 1.25 million people die each year due to accident especially, two wheelers. Timely medical aid can help in saving lives. This system aims to avoid accident and alert the nearby medical center and relatives about an accident to provide immediate medical aid in case of an accident. The attached accelerometer in the vehicle senses the tilt of the vehicle and supporting wheels will avoid the bike from fall. The vibration sensor on the vehicle senses the level of vibration to understand the seriousness of the accident. Thus, the system will make a decision and sends the information to the smart phone through IoT modem. The Android application in the mobile phone will sent text message to the nearest medical center and friends. Application also shares the exact location of the accident that can save the time. This system is also used to monitor the speed of the vehicle and to avoid accident by using the speed sensor. If the speed is greater than the predefined value then the alarm will enable to indicate the driver to reduce the speed.

Optimizing system design significantly boosted power generation, promoted renewable energy utilization, and enhanced energy storage capacity. The study underscored the benefits of optimizing hybrid solar PV panels and pumped hydro energy supply systems for sustainable energy usage. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
