This document analyzes statistics related to Indian education versus foreign education. It includes data from 2009-2011 on topics like children out of school, expenditures per student, enrollment rates, literacy rates, and dropout rates. Regression analysis was performed on literacy rate data and dropout rates were forecasted through 2014. Key findings were that India's education system needs reform to reduce the number of children out of school, literacy rates are growing with population but graduate rates remain low, and expenditures are lower for primary than tertiary education.
