irrigation potential was
regarded as one of the
prerequisites for agricultural
development in the country’

The irrigation potential was regarded
as one of the prerequisite, because of 1. Uncertainty of Rainfall

is cheap in long run.
Need to conserve Water
Questions

List the methods that can be
used to conserve water?

In Crystalline
Following methods can be adopted
to conserve water –
1. Water Saving Technologies
2. Encouraging Watershed
development
3. Rainwater Harvesting
4. Water Recycling
5. Preventing pollution of water.
Rain Water Harvesting
Questions

In Crystalline

storing rainwater. Water harvesting
means understanding the value of rain
and to make optimum use of rainwater.
