Melcher-Dallas Road Safety Essay
In Melcher Dallas, Iowa, children walking to and from school put themselves in danger by walking in
the streets instead of the adjacent sidewalks. When the children walk in the streets, they do not walk
along the left side or any side in general; they walk spread out in the streets. Before and after school, a
number of inexperienced teen drivers drive on the same streets the children walk in, not to mention the
number of people who choose to ignore the speed limit signs. Linda Snook, the Melcher Dallas s
school crosswalk guard, notes that people speed through the school zone with no consideration of the
kids. One of these times, a kid is going to end up getting hit. When children endanger themselves
because they want to walk in the streets, a major problem is presented.
Melcher Dallas may not be a hot spot for vehicular accidents, but they still happen. Not utilizing the
provided sidewalks not only wastes the thousands of dollars that went into building the sidewalks and
sidewalk maintenance, but it increases the chances of getting hit by passing vehicles. According to the

A notification is important because many people may not realize they violate city rules. The

Match Point Aristotle
Recipe for Tragedy Aristotle, who was one of the greatest philosophers of Ancient Greece, analysed
the different elements of tragedies and the ideal form for tragic plays. He also came up with the
definition, which stated that a tragic play would need to have six elements to be successful. Aristotle
felt that the plot and characters are the most important elements in a tragic play. However, thought,
diction, spectacle and melody must also be done well to make a successful play. Match Point is an
example of a modern tragic film that follows Aristotle s elements. The plot had peripety, which is the
change from one state to another at the beginning to the exact opposite at the end, and unity of plot.
The characters were believable and consistent and the melody blended in with the film. These

Before important events the music would play to signal that something important was going to
happen. Before Chris murders Nola, the opera music started playing so we know that something
significant was going to happen. It was also blended in very well with the scene to make it more
dramatic and suspenseful. Also, when Chris threw the old ladies ring, the music started to play. This
also made it more suspenseful and dramatic because the music was blended into the scene and
signifies the importance of the scenes it is played in. Match Point is a perfect example of a modern
tragedy. The film fits all of the criteria and elements that Aristotle thought had to be in a tragic play.
The plot was unified and all of the scenes was based on one main issue and Chris state changed from
happiness to a state of misery. Chris character was very believable and was never out of character. The
music blended in with the scenes to make the film even more suspenseful and dramatic. Aristotle s
elements truly are the criteria for a well made and successful

The Battle Of Gettysburg By Bruce Caton
The Battle of Gettysburg took place on July 1st 3rd, 1863 (Gettysburg: heading). The battle occurred
in and around the town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania which is located in Adams County. Gettysburg is
located in a very rocky area and has a lot of hills. It is a market town and its population is made up of
mostly farmers (The Battle of Gettysburg 1863: Page 5: Paragraph 2: Line 1). This battle was part of
the civil war and is known as the turning point of this war. Gettysburg is also known as one of the
bloodiest battles ever fought in America ( The Battle of Gettysburg by Bruce Caton: Introduction:
Paragraph 2: Line 1). A large cause of the civil war was the difference of opinion on whether slavery
should be abolished in the United States. The southern states relied on slave labor to make money. The
north did not need slavery as much as the south did because it was more industrialized. The fighting
took place between the Union and Confederate armies. The northerners were the Union and the
southerners were the Confederates. This war altered the nation as a whole because both sides were
from the United States. The country was fighting with itself. The battle of Gettysburg played a very
large role in the war. Many would argue that this was not the most important battle of the civil war, but
others would say that it affected the outcome of the war in a very large way. The Battle of Gettysburg
was a major battle in the civil war between the Union and Confederate armies.

The Main Goal Of An Artist
Similar to all great writers and innovators, the main goal of an artist is to spark a creative perspective
in the audience. Sarah Ruhl s oddly blunt play, Eurydice, was meant to open up our minds and create
an outlook that has never been achieved before. Her intent was to keep us on our toes and read
between the lines in order to find the hidden truths in each line. The simplicity of the script was meant
to be a little strange and dull, but by doing this Ruhl entered a realm of playwriting that has not been
accomplished before. Usually, in the performances we watch we are bombarded with long, complex
sentences that leave the audience confused. The vocabulary used is always either outdated or too
complicated for many people to understand quickly. However, in this place Ruhl took the opposite
approach and chose short and simple sentences, leaving more room for interpretation. By making each
line somewhat awkward and dull, Ruhl engages the audiences attention in order to make sense of the
words. Many factors could have motivated Ruhl to write her play in such fashion. For example, when
I was reading the play I connected her style of writing to artists and poets of the 1960 s, like Bob
Dylan and Jim Morrison, who had such a beautiful yet simple play on words. Her outlandish sentences
probably made no sense to someone with a closed mind, this related directly to how the Dylan and
Morrison were perceived in their time as well. Many people didn t understand or allow

Interpersonal Communication In The Movie Meet The Parents
An analysis of the interpersonal communication of the main characters in the movie Meet the Parents
in relation to interpersonal communication concepts and relative theories. I predict the lack of self
disclosure and deception will cause a problem between Greg and Jack when beginning their
relationship as son in law and father in law, which will also stress other personal relationships.
To begin, Meet the Parents is a film that was written by Jim Herzfeld and John Hamburg, and directed
by Jay Roach. The film is centered around two main characters, Gaylord Greg Focker, played by Ben
Stiller and Jack Byrnes, played by Robert DiNiro. Greg is a Jewish male nurse living in Chicago with
his Christian kindergarten teacher girlfriend Pam, Jack s daughter. Greg decides he wants to propose
to Pam, but his plans are halted when Pam s sister Debbie becomes engaged, and Greg learns that
Debbie s finance had asked Jack s permission before proposing. When Greg meets Pam s parents a
sequence of embarrassing and destructive events occurs. Throughout the film, Greg is seeking
approval and acceptance by Jack and the Byrnes family, but many mishaps ensue, and he
instantaneously becomes the prey to Jack, who in movie reveals that he is ex CIA.
Likewise, as mentioned previously Greg had planned on proposing to Pam, Jack s daughter, but his
plans were halted when he learns that receiving permission ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

expression and body language that Greg is clearly offended by what Jack has said, but has chosen to
avoid conflict in hopes of making a positive impression on Jack. (Roach

Belle Boyd Father
During the Civil war era women still did not have the same rights as men. Men were known to be the
dominant figure in society. Men went to work, men contributed towards the war and men had
complete control over anything including the women. All women were allowed to do during this time
period is to stay at home and be the Stay at home mom . But soon men were tired of war and women
knew this is when they could take their chance to be out and about. One of the most famous lady spies
is known by Isabelle Boyd or for short. Belle gave herself her nickname just to shorten her name
during school. Belle Boyd s life played out like a James Bond character: she was betrayed by a lover,
later captured taking Confederate papers to England, and fell in love with and married her captor.
Belle was a white Confederate spy that is from Martinsburg Virginia in which the war was strong and
men were tired of it. She must have been very outgoing and courageous to want to join the war and
most likely be killed. She was born May 9th 1844 and died on June 11th 1900. The average age for the
civil war era was 20 for spies and 49 for an average person. So as a spy she greatly surpassed her life
expectancy at the age of 56. Belle doesn t have much info about her besides she went to college in

*Title: Cystic Fibrosis
*Specific Purpose: To inform my classmates about cystic fibrosis and how severe it really is.
*Thesis Statement: Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that is slowly killing our children and the question is
how can we help these children in their times of need?
Introduction
Attention getter: How many people love children? how would you feel if you knew that a mass
majority of our youth has been born with and/or died from cystic fibrosis?
Preview: Today I will be discussing the what is cystic fibrosis, how it affects our youth, and ways to

Transition: Now that we have discussed the ways this disease affects our youth, lets dig deeper into
the ways we as a whole can help these children in their times of need. III. Third main point How do
we give back to those we have lost and those who are still living?
A. One of the most important ways to give back to children who have died are the active activities led
by certain foundations such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Cystic Fibrosis Lifestyle
Foundation. This foundation has many branches around the country and does CF walks, CF cycle for
life, CF climb and more. Also helping volunteer by raising awareness and letting people know that this
disease needs a cure and the only way to do that is to be aware, donate your time, and perhaps a few
dollars.
B. A beneficial way to give back to those whom are still alive would be to go to the hospitals and visit
the children. These children know they have family support and maybe even friends; but there is
nothing in this world like having someone who barely knows you coming to make sure that your day
is just a little brighter. It gives these kids joy to know that people do care besides their families and
that people give their time to ensure that although this disease is killing you, it can not take away your
happiness.

Persuasive Essay On The First Amendment
The life of the typical American citizen is completely built upon the first Amendment, and one
Micheal Chabon explained, The First Amendment has the same role in my life as a citizen and a writer
as the sun has on our ecosystem. The life led in America reflects the beliefs of freedom in all aspects
of the American way of life. The real debate comes to light when both sides of an argument is fueled
by the protective power of Amendments. In the article Private License Plate Scanners Amassing Vast

the idea out.The decision between these cornerstone beliefs depends greatly on personal belief, but
anyone with a belief in democracy and freedom will see clearly in the discussion between the ideas
pushing the first and fifth amendments. It is clear that the development of these arguments is built on
the use of ethos, pathos, and/or logos; style, word choice, and tone; and the author s purpose to shift
the view of the reader towards the preferred view point.
Through the use of ethos, pathos, and/or logos; style, word choice, and tone; and the author s purpose

mind, but to help he or she see a new point of view using ethos, pathos, and/or logos; style, word
choice, and tone. Through many persuasive techniques, writers bring credibility to their arguments.

Teotihuacan
City of the gods, temple of the sun and moon, these names sound like places out of an Indiana Jones
movie, however the idea had to come from some place. That place is the ancient city of Teotihuacan,
Mexico. Teotihuacan is found north east of Mexico City in the flat plain lands of the Mexican valley .
Named by the Aztecs who found the abandoned city, they marveled at the massive scale of the
buildings and the city itself. The only reasonable explanation the Aztecs could provide was that gods
had made the city. Little did they know that Teotihuacan was a bustling city that was around from
about 150b.c. 750a.d., and a population as high as 200,000 .Teotihuacan is massive in scale for the
ancient world, dispersed over an area of approximately 20 square kilometers. This ancient place is a
perfect example of a city, it has a high population, a well thought out street system, early factories, and

Teotihuacan apart as at least the crown jewel of Mesoamerica.
The general lay out of the city was a grid with a massive central avenue know as the street of the dead

Television s Impact On Television
One part of television that has always been a constant in a lot of programs is family. More particular,
the family sitcom and family dramas have been around for years and are still around today. Family
television shows are great programs for everyone due to the fact of being very family oriented.
However, the way families were portrayed when television first started out has changed drastically
with how some families are portrayed now. The evolution of the way families are viewed on screen
and off screen can be portrayed throughout the years on television. One television show that aired
from 1951 1957 was the series I Love Luc. This series was about a husband and a wife and their lives
together. They were a typical family in the 50s. Lucy stayed at home being a housewife at first while
Ricky would go out to work (Smith). The series even showed them sleeping in separate beds at that
time because we as the audience weren t allowed to see a couple sleep in the same bed. Later in the
series, Lucy became pregnant which wasn t a very common thing to show on television, especially at
that time (Garrison).
Typical families shown on television in the 1950s were a mother, father, and their children. One show
that started to break the mold was My Three Sons which premiered in 1960 and aired until 1972. My
Three Sons was about a widowed father raising his three sons on his own with the help of the kids
grandfather (Taflinger). In a matter of only ten years the family sitcom had

War Photographer Poem
How is the theme of war portrayed through imagery in the poems Lament by Gillian Clarke and War
Photographer by Carol Ann Duffy?
Lament is written by Welsh poet Gillian Clarke, which is an elegy where she laments the loss of lives
due to the Gulf War in 1991. Through the use of imagery and figurative language, the theme of war is
portrayed violently and unpleasantly. Similarly, in Carol Ann Duffy s poem War Photographer, war is
depicted through the description of developing photos that the photographer has taken, in which one
of several will be chosen for the Sunday Supplement. This poem not only uses language and literary
devices to reveal the consequences of conflict, but also through tone and atmosphere reflects the
dismissive attitudes ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the opening stanza of War Photographer, references to religion, light is red , church , priest , Mass ,
All flesh is grass , are very prominent and symbolic. The photographer is metaphorically described as
a priest preparing to say Mass, with the names of countries in war instead of words of a service, and
with the red light of the darkroom symbolizing the church tabernacle lamp. This metaphor reminds us
of the transience of life, when one death can mean so little. Likewise in Lament, the repetition of For
at the start of each verse brings a chanting like effect, which reflect religion and ritualism. The entire
poem is almost like a song, a desolate tune of mourning for the lost lives. In addition, pulsing burden ,
also suggests a rhythmic and regular beat to the poem. This phrase in itself is a paradox, where pulsing
represents energy and liveliness, whereas burden represents a weight and unpleasantness; it reflects
the burden of war on the country, repressing animals and humans who try to

Rock And Roll Outline
a. What is rock and roll?
i. Rock and roll music began developing in the 1950s and still continues to grow today. This is a type
of music that almost everybody in the world is somewhat familiar with due to how popular and
successful rock and roll has become. Today, rock and roll represents almost one third of the U.S.
market and more than twice the market share of the second place rap/hip hop. (online book, cite). One
of many reasons rock and roll grew to be so infectious is because of its acceptance of all people no
matter their race, gender, style, etc. This genre has several sub genres that have branched off from the
original rock and roll style, all of which contributed to making rock and roll so contagious.

Due to lack of rightful accreditation back in the 1950s, Helen Kolawole expresses her opinion about
how the entertainment industry should finally be upfront about the originations of several hit songs
that credited white artists instead of the originators who were black. For example, Elvis Presley is a
well respected legend who was known as the king of rock and roll. Due to Elvis being so successful in
his career, the issue of several songs recorded by him, originally being written by black artists, arises
and irritates people of the African American race. It is prejudiced that this white God is forever
remembered as one of the biggest stars in history when his success was partly based off of black
artists who continue to be unrecognized. It is fair to say that several white artists are better known for
their success over black artists. Helen Kolowale makes a valid point in relation to media arrogance
and dishonesty means we are eternally bound to live in a skewed world where Elvis is king of rock n
roll, Clapton is the guitar God, Sinatra is the voice and Astaire is the greatest dancer. (article by Helen)
This advertised assumption plays a significant role in leaving behind several originators who were of

Domestic And International Measures Of International Crime
Both domestic and international measures are somewhat effective in dealing with international crime.
Both crimes against the international community and Transnational crimes represent both positive
outcomes in dealing with international crime, thus, exemplify issues in key areas. Through
intergovernmental organizations such as the International Criminal Court and Operation Sovereign
Borders (OSB), international crime Is effectively dealt with. Hence, problems such as extradition and
people smuggling are hard to contain. These four issues will also be discussed in light of key
effectiveness criteria, including equality, access, resources and the protection of rights.
Crimes against the international community are a collection of offences that are recognised by the
international community as being of universal concern. However the prosecution of crimes against the
international community can be controversial. Such crimes may be committed in the context of
military conflict. They may be highly politically motivated, or they may have been ordered or
committed by the state itself. The establishment of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in 2002 was
a significant development in the law of crimes against the international community. The independent
international court established by the Rome Statute, acts as a last resort for crimes fitting into the three
categories of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Due to Australia s Dualistic system,

Narrative writing retells an experience that has been life changing in some way. That means that the
subject can be a moment in which you learned something about yourself, about life, or had something
frightening happen to you that has changed your point of view. In the sample essays provided, I read
about experiences with racism, police brutality, and domestic violence.
In Rebecca Goldsmith s essay, Where Does It End? she describes a personal experience in which she
notices her grandmother s racial bias. I related to her writing because I have noticed members of my

Observational learning occurs when an individual allows another s behavior to influence theirs; my

decided to proceed slowly onto the ice and taught myself how to ice skate through watching other
experienced skaters. Even now, I am constantly learning in this manner like applying makeup or

The Divine Comedy vs. Paradise Lost
Full Circle – from Sin to Salvation
Great works of literature have been written throughout history. However, The Divine Comedy and
Paradise Lost have the inept ability to stir the soul and cause a person to examine and re examine their
life. The brilliant descriptions, use of imagery, metaphor and simile give a person a vivid picture of the
creation of man and the possibilities for life in the hereafter. This is done, as a person is able to see,
full circle, from the beginning of time to the end of time, the consequences of turning away from God.

Canto 34 (Canto XXXIV) of the Inferno) On Easter morning, Virgil and Dante escape Hell after
climbing down the body of Satan and climbing through the opening known as the earth s center of
gravity.
After a short hike, they arrive at ante purgatory, which was the area designated for those who died
without receiving full repentance or without receiving the holy sacrament before their death. After
ante purgatory, they enter purgatory, where an angel inscribed the letter P seven times on Dante s
forehead. Each letter represented one of the seven deadly sins. Those seven sins include pride, envy,
anger, sloth, avarice, gluttony, and lust. Each P will be erased as Dante travels through the areas that
were reserved for those who had committed each of the seven sins. As each P is erased by an angel
from Dante s forehead, the journey becomes easier and easier for Dante.
In Purgatory, even though people inhabit different levels, they are able to eventually move on to
heaven if they receive enough prayer to rid them of their sins. The seventh terrace is the highest level
of purgatory. When Virgil and Dante finally reach that terrace, they must pass through a

The Characteristics Of A Hero Journey In The Epic Of...
It it no surprise that the hero story is present in a variety of the arts ranging from the earliest surviving
work of literature, to children s books, to modern day motion picture masterpieces. The characteristics
of a hero have withstood the test of time, and remained remarkably similar. Traits of a modern day
hero can be traced back to The Epic of Gilgamesh which dates back to two thousand BC. This reflects
the power of a hero and its message that it portrays to audiences of all ages and backgrounds. The
ability to capture the attention and resonate with a universal crowd is unique to a hero. That being
said, even though there exists a multitude of hero stories, all of heroes in them share a common

Akin to Gilgamesh, Luke Skywalker experiences a turning point moment when he destroys the Death
Star. It allows him to understand the power and importance of seeking adventure. For Gilgamesh and
Luke Skywalker, they reach their destiny through adventure, adventure that they brought upon
themselves.
Even though it takes personal motivation to execute heroic acts, ultimately a hero s destiny is
predetermined. A hero is born to carry out greatness and fulfill their duty of heroism. Heroes possess a
sixth sense that allows them to see beyond the normal range; they can feel what must be done. Their
ambition and strong mental control from within allow them to follow this sixth sense. Beginning with
The Epic of Gilgamesh, it is evident that Gilgamesh was born to do more than the rest of the people in
his town: Gilgamesh is a fate alive...who knew secrets and saw forbidden places (Tablet I lines 28 and
4). In Star Wars, Luke longs for adventure. Even his aunt knows that He s not a farmer (Star Wars). In
one scene, Luke is shown looking out over the horizon and it is clear that the future is speaking to him
that sixth sense. The vastness of the horizon in front of him represents the boundless adventure that
awaits him. A hero knows more than everyone else, thus a hero can achieve more. As Obi Wan Kenobi

My Pastime As A Pastime
One of my pastimes was watching movies. Besides Andaz Apna Apna, I would watch the popular
movies playing in the theatre (#FastAndFuriousSeries #DhoomSeries), and occasionally watch the
movies that play on Sony Max (#Sooryavansham #TarzanTheWonderCar #TheyNeedNewMovies).
Can this even be called a hobby? Was I being passionate about my passion? I decided to convert this
pastime into a hobby by watching the 250 highest rated movies ever made. It took me three years
(nearly 2 movies a week), but it was so worth it. These movies ranged from boring silent movies of
the 1920s to the mainstream movies of today. Watching such diverse movies pushed me out of my
comfort zone my tastes developed and ultimately it became a life changing experience.
#SecondDegreeHappiness I have been able to experience what has fascinated, inspired and entertained

Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research
In the Declaration on the Production and the Scientific and Therapeutic Use of Human Embryonic
Stem Cells, the Pontifical Academy for Life presents the field of stem cell research with a statement
regarding the official Roman Catholic position on the moral aspects of acquiring and using human
embryonic stem cells. They have declared that it is not morally legitimate to produce or use human
embryos as a source of stem cells, nor is it acceptable to use stem cells from cell lines already
established. Thus, bringing up the conflicting topic concerned with the point in time in which a human
embryo becomes more than a simple mass of cells, but a human individual with a well defined
identity. Gerard Magil and William B. Neaves, in their paper Ontological and Ethical Implications of
Direct Nuclear Reprogramming has conflicted the Academy s position on stem cell research with an
alternative understanding of adult stem cells. In what follows, I will argue that the Academy does not
adequately defend the Church s standpoint on stem cell research. However, I will also suggest that
even if the Church s position were accepted, this would not provide an adequate solution to the ethical
question revolving around stem cell research.
In order to rightly investigate the position defined in the Declaration on the Production and the
Scientific and Therapeutic Use of Human Embryonic Stem Cells a summary must first be presented.
The Academy outlines and endorses the Roman Catholic Church s

Major Toxic Waste Sites in Texas
When thinking about the most polluted states in our country, California and New York instantly pop
into our mind. What most people don t know, however, is that Texas now ranks number one in most
categories of pollution. Whether it be increased emissions from refineries in Beaumont, large pits
filled with contamination at Kelley Air Force Base, or polluted water at Lake Sam Rayburn, Texas has
more than its fair share of toxic waste. Exxon/Mobil, one of the nation s leading oil producers, has its
main refinery located in Beaumont, Texas. Each year, the residents of Beaumont/Port Arthur have to
contend with the 39,000 pounds of pollution spewed each year by the Exxon refinery. Exxon s

Lake Sam Rayburn, once known for excellent swimming, water skiing, and fishing, the lake is now
suffering drastically due to unchecked pollution from a paper mill. In recent years, concerns have
arisen over threats to water quality and the health of fish in the lake by increasing development at a
nearby paper mill which discharges pollutants into the watershed. The Donohue Industries paper mill
facility in Angelina County flushes 20 million gallons per day of wastewater into Paper Mill Creek,
which flows into the lake. Wastewater from Donohue makes up 73% of the total discharge into Lake
Sam Rayburn. High levels of mercury in the fish, low dissolved oxygen levels, and dissolved
aluminum concentrations all pointed towards water contamination when tested by the TNRCC. After
witnessing almost 2,000 dead bass in the area, residents knew something was wrong. After researching
the paper mill, the TNRCC found that dioxins were being produced. Dioxins are highly toxic and
carcinogenic by products of paper mills that use chlorine bleaching agents. Despite this finding, the

I Am A Holistic Thinker
3. How does your orientation in these 6 areas compare with the expectations of our society? (School,
jobs, relationships) Explain.
My orientation in the six areas may or may not compare with the expectations of our society. I am
time oriented. This is a very American way of thinking. American schools, businesses, and homes
often have a clock in every room, and nearly everyone wears a watch. Each day is organized into time
periods of specific length, and use of each period is fully planned. Anniversaries, dates, and historical
chronologies also have special importance.
I am a holistic thinker. This orientation tends to be present in Hebrew and other non western cultures
while dichotomistic thinking lies primarily in the west. This tends to be because westerners tend to use
the left hemisphere of the brain which is analytical, logical, precise, and time sensitive, while the non
western cultures use the right hemisphere which is holistic, emotional, pattern recognition, and
sensory. Although hemispheric dominance limits the creativity of individuals and cultures, the general
tendency is towards extremes. Western schooling and religious denominations suppress the concrete,
emotional, and synthetic thinkers, while non western cultures suppress their analytic and abstract
thinkers.
I am also more non crisis oriented than crisis oriented. My orientation is seen more in non American
societies. An example is the American military system. They have a set code of

Relation Between Gender And Infants
Researchers have hypothesized that the hormone that makes an infant a male also organizes the brain
in a masculine way. Studies have shown when testosterone is blocked in the developing fetus then the
male child engages in less rough and tumble play. If the brain plays a part in masculinizing a male
infant then one can obviously see that gender assignment before the child decides their gender would

These limitations of the OS were not a problem for networking operating systems like Juniper s

was to develop a newer version of the IOS dubbed IOS XR which boasted memory protection

b. Internal audit
Internal environment includes factors that can be controlled by the company such as management,
production, finance, accounting, supply of materials, marketing, public relations (PR), human
resources, information systems, etc. Analyzing these factors helps businesses identify strengths,
weaknesses, then finding out the appropriate strategy. Marketing strategies, marketing systems,
marketing organization, marketing function and marketing productivity are included in the internal
audit.
Marketing strategy audit is about the marketing objectives of Kinh Do and how it relate to overall
objectives. It also concerned about whether Kinh Do has enough resources to achieved these
objectives or not. Marketing systems mentions the procedures for formulating marketing plans and
management control. The structural capability to implement the plan is belonged to marketing
organization. Marketing function is a review of the effectiveness of each element of the mix. The last
area in marketing audit is marketing productivity about how profitable and cost effective the
marketing program is. Kinh Do should use some techniques such as value chain, marketing mix or

Sir Edmund Hillary And Tenzing Norgay And Mount Everest
Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay were the first people to reach the top of Mount Everest. Ever
since that event occurred, climbers have also attempted to reach the top as well. The mountain became
polluted and has been collecting more piles of debris because of this. After Hillary and Norgay s
accomplishment, Hillary used his money to help the environment and encouraged mountain climbers

Mountain climbers who followed their steps often left behind waste. He did not want to pollute Mount
Everest, therefore he asked the climbers to pick up the trash they could possibly leave. Moreover, it
also explains that Hillary was also deeply concerned about the environment. He helped establish
reforestation programs in Nepal (The World s Highest Mountain). His concern for the mountain s
environment caused him to help build reforestation programs in Nepal. Because of the trash left in the
area, these program were created to help the habitat. The source s explanation of how Hillary

Musical Genres And The Musical Genre
Exploring how genre is constructed, negotiated, maintained and defined. Musical genres are agreed by
theorists to be very fluid categories. This hypothetical statement has been proven again and again as
time has passed. What was the same rock in 1980 is not close to what is rock today. Because genre is
always developing, the questions begin with who controls the reasoning behind genre. Exploring the
purpose of genre, this paper will identify how genre has been constructed and defined. It will explore
how promotors negotiate genre in order to maintain a consumer market. This questioning gives
answers to whether musical categorizing is defined primarily by sociological definition or musical.
Genre is constructed from ideas, contexts and assumptions about an artist. Qirko argues that genre is is
constructed sociologically as it constantly undergoes revision as producers and consumers select the
roots that best reflect their needs at given time ( Qirko, 2013). Audiences authenticate music through
their own criteria to form and establish group identities. Because of this, Qirko identifies genre as an
interpretation and translation of whatever the consumer wants it to be. Frith s idea s of the
construction of genre comes in relation to the record companie s fantasy consumer. This idealization
of a listener targeted directly by a genre assumes a manageable relationship between musical label and
consumer(Frith, 1996). This means record copanies generate more of musical

Private Property and the Rule of the Middle Class in Aristotle s Politics
In his discussions of constitutions and cities in Politics, Aristotle makes it very clear that his top
priority is to provide people with the opportunity to pursue and achieve the good life. An integral part
of this is the stability of the constitution. Although Aristotle explicitly states that a kingship is the best
system of rule for any given generation, its lack of stability from one generation to the next
disqualifies it from being the best in reality. In his attempts to find a constitution with stability,
Aristotle comes to the decision that the middle class would be the ruler of such a constitution. This, he
says, will minimize the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Those constitutions which consider the common interest are right constitutions...those constitutions
which consider only the personal interest of the rulers are all wrong constitutions, or perversions of the
right forms (III.6). The kingship, however, does not appear at the top of Aristotle s list of good
constitutions constitutions that best allow its citizens to achieve the good life but rather on the bottom:
constitutional government (polity), aristocracy, and then monarchy, in decreasing order of virtue.
Aristotle explains this discrepancy by revealing that providing the citizens with a good life necessarily
implies the need for stability. It remains to treat of the methods for preserving constitutions in general
(V.8). A kingship may be the most virtuous constitutional type for any given generation, but it is
extremely vulnerable to corruption from one generation to the next. If the kingship is accepted as the
best form of government for cities, what is to be the position of the king s children? Are we to say that
his descendants should also be kings? If they turn out as some of them have done, the result will be
mischievous (III.15). The virtue of a kingship is based on the virtue of the king on one man. One man,
who rules a single generation justly, in pursuit of the common interest, may pass his power on to a
man who rules the next general with malice and greed, in pursuit of his

inside of their homes or in the trunk of their cars. Although Californians can certainly defend

states when it comes to gun control, yet according to the FBI s uniformed crime report, California led
the nation with 151,879 violent crimes (murder and non negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery, and

and in public is a necessity, but that necessity is compromised by the prohibition of open carry. The
belief that criminals can easily remove a firearm from an individual exercising open carry is absurd
considering modern holsters are now designed with retention in mind. Logically, criminals would
avoid attacking someone who is exercising open carry due to the likelihood of being killed in an
altercation or being forced to kill the individual and face capital punishment. Although people
exercising open carry can cause panic from the community and police officers, the issue is generally

Each stage has its own developmental task, unique to each individual experience, that must be faced
and resolved in order to achieve healthy outcomes. For Dominica, her mother would constantly ask
her to fetch things for her (i.e. soup, matches, chocolate milk, etc.), which would distract Domenica
from her school work and assignments. The family also didn t own many books other than those
Domenica brought home from the library. Even though Dominica grew up in a household that was
strewn with garbage and drug paraphernalia, where she was repeatedly told that she was unattractive,
she still developed a love for learning, reading, and was driven to succeed. This event can be
connected to Erikson s fifth stage of developing one s identity or experiencing role confusion. Even
though Dominica faced challenges, she still made an effort in her adolescent and young adult years to
discover her true self and find meaning relevant to her own personhood. While attempting to discover
her own unique identity, Dominica was also influenced by her mother s actions and behavior, which
she mimicked in addition to responding to her mother s requests. In Social Learning Theory, Albert

watching and imitating behaviors of others. The premise of this model is based on the idea of

Ageism As A Diversity Issue Essay
Introduction
Ageism is surprisingly common in Australia, particularly within the workforce. The definition of
ageism in working life according to Furunes and Mykletun (2009), is the stereotypes, prejudice, and
discrimination against ageing workers, based on chronological age or age categories such as older
worker or senior . This phenomenon has seen older workers increasingly subjected to biases and
discriminatory practices when seeking and maintaining employment. Hence, the importance for
organisations to understand current and trending issues on age discrimination, in order to draft and
implement, effective, and relevant policies. The purpose of this report is to provide an in depth
analysis on ageism as a diversity issue in the workplace and to recommend organisational policies that
recognise older workers as a strategic advantage. This analysis will focus on literature relevant to the

The Effects Of Hellish Interpersonal Characters In No Exit...
Hellish Interpersonal Situations by Peng Su
Situations of unpleasant interactions between people are common even in our societies. At least each
person has at one time has experienced a terrible or unpleasant interaction with another person. In the
play No Exit by Sartre and the poems The Waste Land by Eliot, there are similar unpleasant
interactions depicted. No Exit is a play consisting of three characters Inez, Garcin, and Estelle who are
in hell damned in one room. The characters had thought hell was a place for punishment but rather
found themselves in a room well furnished. However, all the characters refuse to admit to their
damnation reasons. The Waste Land on the other hand is a collection of poems that delve in war,
disillusionment, death, and trauma themes to show the effects of World War I. Therefore, the focus of
this essay is to discuss unpleasant interpersonal situations depicted in the two texts and that are
similar.
In both texts, the characters were frightened by the interactions with the other people. In The Waste
Land in The Burial of the Dead , Marie was frightened when her cousin insisted on taking her on a
sled out in the snow and sliding down the hills (Elliot 5). In No Exit Garcin who was the first person
to be brought in the room by the Valet and was frightened when the Valet left and came with Inez.
Garcin was frightened by the presence of Inez in the room as she thought he

The Issue Of Saudi Arabia Essay
Saudi Arabia earns around $360bn annually net exports; this is at $115 per barrel (The
Economist,2014) This will be half if the price remains at $60 per barrel. The budget is now at the red
line, and this is a catastrophe, since it will be decades to revive from such economic mess. In the short
run, there will be no big deal, the country may go deep in the pocket to finance its budget, while in the
medium term, it will hurt the economy, leading to less expenditures. This may not go well with the
outlook of the citizens. Long term effect may be taxation, and less expenditure. The expenditure may
be cut down as it was in mid 1980s, and this will be a draconian austerity to face. The exorbitant
political patronage as it has been in the Sunni world will face rough times to prop up the likes of
Egypt. The only item that still holds them together in this medieval regime may be the social
spending, but still there is terrorist attacks and Yemen invasion, reported by Forbes (2015). The
current reserves may go down by close or more than $200bn in the year 2018, and this will cause
capital flight. The current trap is hard and dealing with Russia alone to cut on the output alone will
bring more shale production in the years to come.
The resilience of Saudi Arabia to cut back the output of oil led to more supply in the market, leading
to low prices. This can be seen as an agenda in long term basis (INSS, 2015). They are prepared more
than enough to deplete their reserves, while in the

Memorandum
Statement of Purpose
For this report, I will conduct extensive research pertaining to the idea of solar renewable energy.
Within the research, I will look to inform the reader on advantages and disadvantages of solar energy.
Also, how solar energy will affect human in later years in the universe. Once research is conducted the
report will then be organized into an informational report. The informational report will be shared with
U.S solar marketers, John Barbour, and others whom are interested in knowing more information
about solar energy. The main objective of this report is to inform the reader on specific advantages and

Background
Solar energy is energy that is produced by the sun in the form of heat and light ( Solar Energy ). Solar
energy is said to be one of the most widely available sources of energy. Solar energy is also said to be
one of the best renewable energy sources to choose from. Solar energy is said to be the greatest of all
renewable energy sources because it is plentiful and, solar energy is free economically. Solar energy
scientifically can be used to convert the sun s energy into either heat energy or the energy can be
converted into electricity. If solar energy is converted to electricity, it goes through either two

Cinderella Epilogue
I grab Darian closer towards me. After everything that happened today, I just want him more and
more. I love him in a way that happens mostly in fairy tales. He s the prince in Cinderella that
everyone adores and wants, but I m the Cinderella that he finds. The glass slipper is like our hearts. It
fits, perfectly. It s something new that I ve never experienced before. He makes me, me.
Darian stops and looks at me. Is there something wrong?
Oh, no. Sorry, I m just thinking about how much I love you. He smiles that smile I love. One day, I ll
make sure that we can do this, but in our house together. Darian takes off his shirt and says that here is

I woke up before Lily did. Of course. I caress her for a bit and fix her hair before getting out of bed. I
go and brush my teeth then go downstairs. My mom s up already and I say good morning to her as I
make some breakfast. I feel like eating some spam and eggs. Hm. Lily likes sandwiches things. I
wonder if a spam, egg and bacon croissant would taste good. While grabbing all of the materials
needed, I fry up some food and it smells good. I go to the fridge and take out some juice and pour it in
a glass. After, I get a plate and put Lily s food on it and bring that and the glass up to my room.
She s still sleeping. I sneakily go back downstairs to get my food and tiptoe back upstairs. I don t
know how to wake her up. Let s go for a princess fairy tale way. I walk over to my bed and lean over
to kiss her. Once I do, she still doesn t wake up. I try nudging her a bit. She still doesn t wake up. I
decide that I would shake the bed.
RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRRRRRR! she yells right when I m about to touch the
bed. Wtf. I got scared for a bit and stare at her as she looks at me all innocently.
I guess you don t get breakfast then. I start to take the food and

Three Examples Of Ultranationalism
Nationalism involves an individual identifying with, or becoming attached to one s nation. A nation
often trying to develop people s nationalism within their country. Nationalism will lead to a state of
ultranationalism an extreme form of nationalism ultranationalists are often fanatically loyal to their
own nation and hostile and racist toward other nations. Three examples of ultranationalists are
Hirohito(Japan), Adolf Hitler(Germany), and Joseph Stalin(Russia).
During WWI, increased Japanese exports to western countries gave Japan a great success both
politically and economically; suddenly, when the Great Depression stated, the trading with other
country failed and Japanese suffered for a long time. And after the death of Crown Prince Yoshihito,
his son Hirohito Emperor Showa (1901 1989) became the 124th Emperor of Japan according. He
gradually turned his country toward ultranationalism and militarism. During WWII, Japan allied with
Nazi Germany and attacked nearly all of its Asian neighbors, also launched a surprise assault on the
Pearl Harbor to express his sovereignty. Although Hirohito later portrayed himself as a powerless
constitutional monarch, many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
As stated above that Great Depression created harsh condition for Japan, it hit Germany especially
hard. The country was still struggling for the recovery of the war and the loss of colonies, Germans
began to look for a strong leader who could fix the country. Adolf Hitler promised to restore people s
national pride by making their country the leading nation. Hitler and his Nazi party used propaganda
to spread out ideas of nationalism, he also used powerful public address system, careful staging and
skilful architectural design. As an effective dictator, Hitler was at the centre of WWII in Europe and

Boeing D-340 Pointer
Bell Boeing conceived the D 340 Pointer TiltRotor UAV in 1986 as part of the a Bell Helicopter
Textron and Boeing Helicopter TiltRotor Teaming Agreement to develop a V/STOL short range
surveillance and reconnaissance drone. Development of the D 340 proceeded throughout 1987. The
Pointer made its first public appearance at Farnborough in September 1988 and flew for the first time
(albeit poorly using Boeing flight controls) on November 21, 1988. But the partnership ended in
September 1989 when Boeing dropped out of the program after only 12½ hours of flight trials and 40
hours of wind tunnel testing. A friend of mine, Keith Cedras, controlled Bell s portion and was forced
out of MBD in the first force reduction. I believed in the concept, ... Show more content on

The design reduced overall length during transport and storage. The nose section mounted using
hinges to permit easy access to the avionics and other mission equipment. The center section
incorporated the wing box, fuel tanks engine and landing gear. Because of its dual, hover and
conventional aircraft flight requirements, Burt designed a complex structural arrangement. The Allison
C20 gas turbine engine, attached to a combining transmission was integrated into the center fuselage.
Drive shafts from the combining transmission pass through the center of the wing and connect to
transmissions (Bell 206 tail rotor gear boxes) in nacelles at each wing tip. The cantilevered wing box
experienced very diverse structural loads during hover and conventional forward flight, and an
additional challenge required the wing box wet fuel tank preserve the dry integrity of the transmission
drive shaft conduits. The removal of the entire top part of the fuselage provided access to the engine
and center gear box. The removable tail was attached using a lightweight screw row. The tail
contained various antenna and actuators for the pitch control surfaces. Scaled Composites installed the

  • 6. Melcher-Dallas Road Safety Essay In Melcher Dallas, Iowa, children walking to and from school put themselves in danger by walking in the streets instead of the adjacent sidewalks. When the children walk in the streets, they do not walk along the left side or any side in general; they walk spread out in the streets. Before and after school, a number of inexperienced teen drivers drive on the same streets the children walk in, not to mention the number of people who choose to ignore the speed limit signs. Linda Snook, the Melcher Dallas s school crosswalk guard, notes that people speed through the school zone with no consideration of the kids. One of these times, a kid is going to end up getting hit. When children endanger themselves because they want to walk in the streets, a major problem is presented. Melcher Dallas may not be a hot spot for vehicular accidents, but they still happen. The battle occurred in and around the town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania which is located in Adams County. Gettysburg is located in a very rocky area and has a lot of hills. It is a market town and its population is made up of mostly farmers (The Battle of Gettysburg 1863: Page 5: Paragraph 2: Line 1). This battle was part of the civil war and is known as the turning point of this war. Gettysburg is also known as one of the bloodiest battles ever fought in America ( The Battle of Gettysburg by Bruce Caton: Introduction: Paragraph 2: Line 1). A large cause of the civil war was the difference of opinion on whether slavery should be abolished in the United States. The southern states relied on slave labor to make money. The north did not need slavery as much as the south did because it was more industrialized. The fighting took place between the Union and Confederate armies. The northerners were the Union and the southerners were the Confederates. This war altered the nation as a whole because both sides were from the United States. The country was fighting with itself. The battle of Gettysburg played a very large role in the war. Many would argue that this was not the most important battle of the civil war, but others would say that it affected the outcome of the war in a very large way. • 9. The Main Goal Of An Artist Similar to all great writers and innovators, the main goal of an artist is to spark a creative perspective in the audience. Sarah Ruhl s oddly blunt play, Eurydice, was meant to open up our minds and create an outlook that has never been achieved before. Her intent was to keep us on our toes and read between the lines in order to find the hidden truths in each line. The simplicity of the script was meant to be a little strange and dull, but by doing this Ruhl entered a realm of playwriting that has not been accomplished before. Usually, in the performances we watch we are bombarded with long, complex sentences that leave the audience confused. The vocabulary used is always either outdated or too complicated for many people to understand quickly. However, in this place Ruhl took the opposite approach and chose short and simple sentences, leaving more room for interpretation. By making each line somewhat awkward and dull, Ruhl engages the audiences attention in order to make sense of the words. Many factors could have motivated Ruhl to write her play in such fashion. For example, when I was reading the play I connected her style of writing to artists and poets of the 1960 s, like Bob Dylan and Jim Morrison, who had such a beautiful yet simple play on words. Her outlandish sentences probably made no sense to someone with a closed mind, this related directly to how the Dylan and Morrison were perceived in their time as well. • 15. Television s Impact On Television One part of television that has always been a constant in a lot of programs is family. More particular, the family sitcom and family dramas have been around for years and are still around today. Family television shows are great programs for everyone due to the fact of being very family oriented. However, the way families were portrayed when television first started out has changed drastically with how some families are portrayed now. The evolution of the way families are viewed on screen and off screen can be portrayed throughout the years on television. One television show that aired from 1951 1957 was the series I Love Luc. This series was about a husband and a wife and their lives together. They were a typical family in the 50s. Lucy stayed at home being a housewife at first while Ricky would go out to work (Smith). The series even showed them sleeping in separate beds at that time because we as the audience weren t allowed to see a couple sleep in the same bed. Later in the series, Lucy became pregnant which wasn t a very common thing to show on television, especially at that time (Garrison). Typical families shown on television in the 1950s were a mother, father, and their children. One show that started to break the mold was My Three Sons which premiered in 1960 and aired until 1972. My Three Sons was about a widowed father raising his three sons on his own with the help of the kids grandfather (Taflinger). In a matter of only ten years the family sitcom had ... Lament is written by Welsh poet Gillian Clarke, which is an elegy where she laments the loss of lives due to the Gulf War in 1991. Through the use of imagery and figurative language, the theme of war is portrayed violently and unpleasantly. Similarly, in Carol Ann Duffy s poem War Photographer, war is depicted through the description of developing photos that the photographer has taken, in which one of several will be chosen for the Sunday Supplement. In the opening stanza of War Photographer, references to religion, light is red , church , priest , Mass , All flesh is grass , are very prominent and symbolic. This metaphor reminds us of the transience of life, when one death can mean so little. Likewise in Lament, the repetition of For at the start of each verse brings a chanting like effect, which reflect religion and ritualism. The entire poem is almost like a song, a desolate tune of mourning for the lost lives. In addition, pulsing burden , also suggests a rhythmic and regular beat to the poem. Exxon/Mobil, one of the nation s leading oil producers, has its main refinery located in Beaumont, Texas. Lake Sam Rayburn, once known for excellent swimming, water skiing, and fishing, the lake is now suffering drastically due to unchecked pollution from a paper mill. In recent years, concerns have arisen over threats to water quality and the health of fish in the lake by increasing development at a nearby paper mill which discharges pollutants into the watershed. The Donohue Industries paper mill facility in Angelina County flushes 20 million gallons per day of wastewater into Paper Mill Creek, which flows into the lake. Wastewater from Donohue makes up 73% of the total discharge into Lake Sam Rayburn. High levels of mercury in the fish, low dissolved oxygen levels, and dissolved aluminum concentrations all pointed towards water contamination when tested by the TNRCC. After witnessing almost 2,000 dead bass in the area, residents knew something was wrong. After researching the paper mill, the TNRCC found that dioxins were being produced. • 27. I Am A Holistic Thinker 3. How does your orientation in these 6 areas compare with the expectations of our society? (School, jobs, relationships) Explain. My orientation in the six areas may or may not compare with the expectations of our society. I am time oriented. This is a very American way of thinking. American schools, businesses, and homes often have a clock in every room, and nearly everyone wears a watch. Each day is organized into time periods of specific length, and use of each period is fully planned. Anniversaries, dates, and historical chronologies also have special importance. I am a holistic thinker. This orientation tends to be present in Hebrew and other non western cultures while dichotomistic thinking lies primarily in the west. This tends to be because westerners tend to use the left hemisphere of the brain which is analytical, logical, precise, and time sensitive, while the non western cultures use the right hemisphere which is holistic, emotional, pattern recognition, and sensory. Although hemispheric dominance limits the creativity of individuals and cultures, the general tendency is towards extremes. Western schooling and religious denominations suppress the concrete, emotional, and synthetic thinkers, while non western cultures suppress their analytic and abstract thinkers. I am also more non crisis oriented than crisis oriented. My orientation is seen more in non American societies. An example is the American military system. They have a set code of ... This hypothetical statement has been proven again and again as time has passed. What was the same rock in 1980 is not close to what is rock today. Because genre is always developing, the questions begin with who controls the reasoning behind genre. Exploring the purpose of genre, this paper will identify how genre has been constructed and defined. It will explore how promotors negotiate genre in order to maintain a consumer market. This questioning gives answers to whether musical categorizing is defined primarily by sociological definition or musical. Genre is constructed from ideas, contexts and assumptions about an artist. Qirko argues that genre is is constructed sociologically as it constantly undergoes revision as producers and consumers select the roots that best reflect their needs at given time ( Qirko, 2013). Audiences authenticate music through their own criteria to form and establish group identities. Because of this, Qirko identifies genre as an interpretation and translation of whatever the consumer wants it to be. Frith s idea s of the construction of genre comes in relation to the record companie s fantasy consumer. This idealization of a listener targeted directly by a genre assumes a manageable relationship between musical label and consumer(Frith, 1996). This means record copanies generate more of musical ... An integral part of this is the stability of the constitution. Although Aristotle explicitly states that a kingship is the best system of rule for any given generation, its lack of stability from one generation to the next disqualifies it from being the best in reality. Aristotle explains this discrepancy by revealing that providing the citizens with a good life necessarily implies the need for stability. It remains to treat of the methods for preserving constitutions in general (V.8). A kingship may be the most virtuous constitutional type for any given generation, but it is extremely vulnerable to corruption from one generation to the next. If the kingship is accepted as the best form of government for cities, what is to be the position of the king s children? Are we to say that his descendants should also be kings? At least each person has at one time has experienced a terrible or unpleasant interaction with another person. This may not go well with the outlook of the citizens. Long term effect may be taxation, and less expenditure. The expenditure may be cut down as it was in mid 1980s, and this will be a draconian austerity to face. He s the prince in Cinderella that everyone adores and wants, but I m the Cinderella that he finds. The glass slipper is like our hearts. It fits, perfectly. It s something new that I ve never experienced before. He makes me, me. Darian stops and looks at me. Is there something wrong? Oh, no. Sorry, I m just thinking about how much I love you. He smiles that smile I love. One day, I ll make sure that we can do this, but in our house together. Darian takes off his shirt and says that here is home for now. We have sex. (LOL I M SORRY I DON T WANT TO GO INTO DETAIL. I DON T WANT YOU TO HAVE ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Darian I woke up before Lily did. Of course. I caress her for a bit and fix her hair before getting out of bed. I go and brush my teeth then go downstairs. My mom s up already and I say good morning to her as I make some breakfast. I feel like eating some spam and eggs. Hm. Lily likes sandwiches things. I wonder if a spam, egg and bacon croissant would taste good. While grabbing all of the materials needed, I fry up some food and it smells good. I go to the fridge and take out some juice and pour it in a glass. After, I get a plate and put Lily s food on it and bring that and the glass up to my room. She s still sleeping. I sneakily go back downstairs to get my food and tiptoe back upstairs. I don t know how to wake her up. Let s go for a princess fairy tale way. I walk over to my bed and lean over to kiss her. Once I do, she still doesn t wake up. I try nudging her a bit. She still doesn t wake up. I decide that I would shake the bed. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWRRRRRRRR! she yells right when I m about to touch the bed. Wtf. I got scared for a bit and stare at her as she looks at me all innocently. I guess you don t get breakfast then. I start to take the food and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 50. Three Examples Of Ultranationalism Nationalism involves an individual identifying with, or becoming attached to one s nation. A nation often trying to develop people s nationalism within their country. Nationalism will lead to a state of ultranationalism an extreme form of nationalism ultranationalists are often fanatically loyal to their own nation and hostile and racist toward other nations. Three examples of ultranationalists are Hirohito(Japan), Adolf Hitler(Germany), and Joseph Stalin(Russia). During WWI, increased Japanese exports to western countries gave Japan a great success both politically and economically; suddenly, when the Great Depression stated, the trading with other country failed and Japanese suffered for a long time. And after the death of Crown Prince Yoshihito, his son Hirohito Emperor Showa (1901 1989) became the 124th Emperor of Japan according. He gradually turned his country toward ultranationalism and militarism. During WWII, Japan allied with Nazi Germany and attacked nearly all of its Asian neighbors, also launched a surprise assault on the Pearl Harbor to express his sovereignty. Although Hirohito later portrayed himself as a powerless constitutional monarch, many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 51. Boeing D-340 Pointer Bell Boeing conceived the D 340 Pointer TiltRotor UAV in 1986 as part of the a Bell Helicopter Textron and Boeing Helicopter TiltRotor Teaming Agreement to develop a V/STOL short range surveillance and reconnaissance drone. Development of the D 340 proceeded throughout 1987. The Pointer made its first public appearance at Farnborough in September 1988 and flew for the first time (albeit poorly using Boeing flight controls) on November 21, 1988. But the partnership ended in September 1989 when Boeing dropped out of the program after only 12½ hours of flight trials and 40 hours of wind tunnel testing. A friend of mine, Keith Cedras, controlled Bell s portion and was forced out of MBD in the first force reduction. I believed in the concept, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The design reduced overall length during transport and storage. The nose section mounted using hinges to permit easy access to the avionics and other mission equipment. The center section incorporated the wing box, fuel tanks engine and landing gear. Because of its dual, hover and conventional aircraft flight requirements, Burt designed a complex structural arrangement. The Allison C20 gas turbine engine, attached to a combining transmission was integrated into the center fuselage. Drive shafts from the combining transmission pass through the center of the wing and connect to transmissions (Bell 206 tail rotor gear boxes) in nacelles at each wing tip. The cantilevered wing box experienced very diverse structural loads during hover and conventional forward flight, and an additional challenge required the wing box wet fuel tank preserve the dry integrity of the transmission drive shaft conduits. The removal of the entire top part of the fuselage provided access to the engine and center gear box. The removable tail was attached using a lightweight screw row. The tail contained various antenna and actuators for the pitch control surfaces. Scaled Composites installed the hard points and mounts ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
