Understanding the doctrine of justification by faith should be every Christian primary objective, for it
represents the foundation of our entire religious belief. While justification by faith has been the subject
of many debates, and the target of many who are trying to undermine the Christian s faith, it remains
the most important doctrine in a Christian s life, for it is the only doctrine that separates the Christian
faith from many other religions and sects. This theological doctrine has been debated and re debated
for years. What is the reasons behind all these disagreement? Why can t human accept the free gift of
salvation without associated it with extra work? Is it because we are trying to justify ourselves? Or, is
it because the human race is too far evil that it cannot accept being justified as righteous before God?
Maybe Thomas Oden put it exactly, when he stated:
We in our self assertiveness would much prefer to justify ourselves rather than receive God s free
gift....The message of justification is difficult to accept because it seems too good to be true. It says:
Stop trying to justify yourself. You do not need to. If we wake up one day and realize, Hey! I don t
need to justify myself! then shackles will fall like dropped popcorn, and our inner soul will feel an
exhilarating liberation.

Difference Between Polyp And Medusa
Introduction
In this practical assignment I will discuss what are the morphological differences between a polyp and
medusa and how does the respective morphology affect the ecology of these body forms. I will
construct a hypothesis, write down my results, I will have a discussion and there after a conclusion.
My hypothesis I that morphological differences between polyp and medusa will give them different
ecological roles.
Discussion
According to (Miller and Harley, 2016, p157) many cnidarians have two body forms, namely polyp
and medusa. Polyps are usually sessile, they attach to substrates like rocks at their aboral end (the end
furthest form the mouth). They have a cylindrical body shape, they do not possess gonads, while
cnidarians are in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to (Foundation, n.d.) most jellyfish feed on crustaceans (crayfish, shrimp), but many also
consume plankton, other invertebrates, fish eggs and larvae. Species that consume fish eggs and larvae
can sometimes have an impact on the human and other predator s food supply by causing low fish
population levels. This can be extreme when large swarms of jellyfish are present. Next, I will
describe anthozoan ecology. Anthozoans are mostly found in reefs (shallow regens in warm tropical
oceans). According (Anon, n.d.) coral reefs consist of many cnidarians, they also say that coral reefs
are home to a large biodiversity. Coral reefs plays a role in breeding for many species. It is also said
that cnidarians can form symbiotic relationships with microorganisms such as algae. The algae lives in
the coral body, they photosynthesis and produce oxygen and other substances which the coral can use
as nutrients. Finally, I will describe hydrozoan ecology. According (Foundation, n.d.) hydrozoans live
in almost all aquatic environments. Many polyps form symbiotic relationships with microorganisms
(algae) that live inside them or with larger organisms such as crustaceans (crabs, lobsters, shrimps
etc.) they are

How Has Chivalry Changed In The Middle Ages
The act of chivalry has changed dramatically since the middle ages and since The Canterbury Tales
was written. In The Knight s Tale , Chaucer writes about the quest for love between two men who are
in love with the same woman. This quest ends in death for one man and love for the other man.
Chivalry in the middle ages included Knights that were expected to be warriors and attendants to the
King. Knights were expected to fight to the death for love and then represent the kingdom because of
their good deeds. Modern chivalry has changed radically from knightly tasks to gentlemanly acts
towards women. Today men are expected to be polite and respectful towards not only women they are
interested in but to everyone they encounter. Chivalry has become less extreme and therefore less
prevalent in today s society but it is still present in some cases. ... Show more content on

He was to be an ornament in his Lord s court: affable and restrained, eloquent, and skilled in the
music, the hunt and the art of courtly flirting (Alchin). Knights were expected to fight for their
community and also work for the King and whatever he needs. Knights were highly thought of and
appreciated in medieval times. Typically knights fought to the death for a woman s love. In The
Knight s Tale , Chaucer tells the story of Palamon and Arcite and their quest to win the heart of Emily.
Both Palamon and Arcite are thrown in jail after Theseus, lord and ruler of Athens, conquered Thebes.
Palamon and Arcite were found wounded but not dead and were said to be of royal blood so they were
arrested and thrown in jail in Athens. While in jail Palamon spots Emily, Theseus sister in law, through
a window and instantly falls in love with her. After Palamon tells Arcite of his love, Arcite sees Emily
and also falls in love with her. Trouble arises due to both men falling in love with Emily. Palamon

The Discovery Of Tungsten, Formerly Wolfram Or Wolframite
History
Tungsten, formerly Wolfram or Wolframite, is not naturally found in nature, and can only be created
by taking either protons or neutrons from naturally occurring substances. In the sixteenth century,
German smelters discovered it as an accompanying mineral to tin ores. When trying to smelt these
ores, they sometimes found foam like deposits would form, consuming the tin ores they found
valuable. Due to this phenomenon, it was said that it Tears away the tin and devours it like a wolf

The first were given to an engineer by the name of Robert Oxland, who had perfected the rendering
process. Oxlands process helped to open the pathway to industrialization, making Tungsten a metal
that was readily attainable for use in many different applications. Following his innovations, as soon
as ten years later, patents for tungsten used as an alloy in steels, and high speed steels became
common strengthening the material by as much as 20 percent. Many of the same steels are still in wide
use today. In 1904, Tungsten was used to replace the filaments in lightbulbs, as an alternative to the
much less efficient carbon filaments that were the standard of the era. This application was used to
illuminate the world, changing the way humans live forever, and is also still in wide use today. Only in
recent years have alternatives that are safer and more energy efficient been created.
Applications
Tungsten is applied to different metals for a variety of uses. In applications where strong steels are
needed, tungsten can be added in higher and lower quantities based on need to increase strength due to
its increased durability. Some common uses for the material are electron television tubes, filaments in
electric lamps, winding/heating elements for electric furnaces, missile/ high temperature applications,
and high speed tool steels to name a

Disadvantage Of The Eu
The European Union is known as a economic and political union that has 28 member states around the
continent .The EU was established in the aftermath of World War 2. The idea behind the eu was that
countries that trade with each other become economically interdependent and are less likely to get into
conflict. What stared off as a purely economic union advanced into an organization covering policy
areas, from climate, environment and health to external relations and security, justice and migration
(Ayiekoh, 2016).

The Individuals With Disabilities Education Act Orders
The Individuals With Disabilities Education Act orders all states to give disabled students a free and
appropriate education. Many schools in the United States mainstream disabled students and have
succeeded in properly educating them, along with creating a safe environment where they are socially
comfortable and accepted. However, there are too many incidents where teachers improperly handle
these students and administrators do not give enough money to fund adequate supplies for these
students. Although disabled students gain social benefits when mainstreamed, they ultimately do not
thrive in such settings due to immoral methods and insufficient budgets. In academic settings, disabled
students have access to more opportunities and many ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most importantly, children with disabilities have the opportunities to observe, imitate and model the
language use of their peers who do not have disabilities (Grabmeier). By following their nondisabled
friends, disabled students learn how to better communicate their thoughts, feelings and ideas which
makes it easier for teachers to help them and understand them. Another beneficial skill disabled
students receive through mainstreaming is positive thinking. According to Kathy Foust, the
mainstreaming environment allows disabled students to learn what type of behavior is appropriate and
what is not. They learn that listening to a teacher leads to little or no punishments while disobeying a
teacher leads to more punishments. Foust also includes that mainstreaming stimulates self esteem
because the disabled know they are in regular classes, which makes them proud of themselves. These
students believe that since they are in classrooms with nondisabled students, they are in higher and
more advance classes. In other words, since students around the disabled are capable of extraordinary
things, the disabled feel like they are extraordinary as well, thus having an improved self esteem. The

Attorney Vs Durable Power Of Attorney
Goal: What is the difference between a medical power of attorney and a durable power of attorney?
Word count in this document: 1500 Title: What is the difference between a medical power of attorney
and a durable power of attorney? Life happens, and we can t stop accidents, illnesses, and aging from
happening. We don t want to think about these things, but they are something we need to address. If
something happens and you are unable to tell your doctors what type of medical treatment you want,
or you can t manage your financial affairs while you are in the hospital, what would you do? This is
where the power of attorney comes in. The medical and financial powers of an attorney can make your
life easier for both you and your family if things get hard. The power of an attorney You re probably
wondering what the power of an attorney actually is. Basically, it s a legal document that gives
someone the power to act in your place. For example, if you ever become mentally incapacitated, you
will need durable powers of attorney for both medical care and financial decisions. Someone will need
to take over everything for you, because you will be incapable of caring for yourself and taking care of

A Midsummer Night s Dream
Love, before we can talk about it we must define it; then we can dissect it and reference it. Love is
defined in the dictionary as an intense feeling of deep affection. Throughout several of Shakespeare s
plays he speaks about love. It is a common theme throughout Shakespeare s plays, both comedies and
tragedies, and we can see that Shakespeare is infatuated with love. Shakespeare and I, though poles
apart, raised in different times, places, and even of different genders have one thing in common; we
both seem to be hopeless romantics. In Shakespeare s plays love seems like a very obtainable reality,
love conquers all if you believe in it and fight for it. This seems to go against societal structure in a
time where marriages were arranged ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The couple has to overcome this problem to get what they want. Love plays a significant part in
human life, these characters were made to show how love influences them, how they live and become
better for it. To me it seems as though Shakespeare truly believes in love but not love without flaws. It
seems as though the flaws themselves can make love stronger or break love. It is hard to imagine that
someone could write so many stories and plays without a real definition of love or even without
inspiration. Richard II and Richard III both have pros and cons, but more cons than pros. When
Shakespeare wrote about these two kings it seems that in his mind his was writing about the negative
effects and attributes about being a king. King Richard II was an immature, adolescent acting,
irresponsible, neglectful king to say the least. As time and time again Richard the second proves his
incompetence, for instance, when Bolingbroke and Mowbray are in a disagreement, and point fingers
about the death of Bolingbroke s Uncle. They get so angry they throw down their hats to suggest they
want to duel. The king asks them to settle dispute, but they continue to bicker and so King Richard
sets a time and place for this duel to give the illusion that he is in control when he clearly is not and
just as they are about to duel, the king, to show his power, then exiles them both and they beg him not

Application Of Cellulases On Juice Recovery
Application of Cellulases on Juice Recovery
Introduction
Cellulose is the most abundant compound produced from stalks, leaves, and stems (Shankar, 2011).
The use of enzymes in the food industry provides safer and higher quality products. Cellulases are
enzymes which break down the sugar cellulose. Cellulase enzymes are produced by fungi, animals,
plants, and bacteria. (Zhang 2013) The cellulase enzyme has been used for various industry
applications such as the textile industry, paper industry, and juice industry. Cellulases link beta, 1,4
linkages in the cellulose chains (Zhang 2013). There are three types of cellulase enzymes:
endoglucanases, exoglucanases, and beta glucosidases. Exoglucanases act on the reducing or non
reducing ends of cellulose (Zhang, 2013). Endoglucanases cut the nonreducing ends of cellulose or the
beta 1,4 bonds. Endoglucanases are also produced by bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals
(Zhang,2013). Lastly, beta glucosidases are produced by archaea, bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals
and are known for degrading cellobiose (Zhang, 2013). All three forms of cellulases are produced
from animals, bacteria, and plants. The purpose of this paper will be to discuss mainly the cellulase
enzyme and its effect on the juice industry in addition to other applications of cellulase, and how
cellulase behaves in combination with other enzymes such as pectinase and xylanase.

Sexual Education And Sex Education
The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of sexual education and describe differences
and similarities in some of the research done on this topic. Having sexual education available to youth
is the key in reducing the number of unwanted situations in the sexual health of the individuals.
Teaching adolescents about sex is beneficial because they become aware of consequence that might
follow specific actions. This is a chance to ensure adolescents take safer routes when deciding to
become sexually active. Youth sexual education has been correlated with preventing unplanned
pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Many schools have sexual education programs
but many teenage pregnancies that are unplanned and STIs are occurring. One reason could be
because very few of these sexual education programs are attending to the traditional social norms
around sexuality and gender. It is important to consider and focus on the traditional social norms
because findings in previous studies have found those that hold traditional social beliefs around
gender and sexuality, are at greater risks of negative sexual health consequences. Adolescents should
be given the opportunity to receive the proper sexual education in order to eliminate negative sexual
health consequences. Researchers have found that individuals in sexual education programs that
address traditional social norms and the effects of these beliefs, are less likely to agree with
hegemonic masculinity

A Prayer For Owen Meany Foreshadowing Analysis
In the novel A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, religious theme, symbols for armlessness, and
unchronological events of foreshadowing displaying a boisterous, yet spirited story. This story leads
you on then leaves you hanging, proving the reader with a thrill throughout the entire book. Theme,
symbols and foreshowing all help tie into the literary elements displayed in the novel.
At the beginning of the novel the narrator, Johnny, points out that there is something very special
about Owen Meany, not just in the way he talks (shouts) but how deeply devoted Owen is to his
religious beliefs. Keep in mind Owen is only nine and has a devote understanding of the relationship

Johnny s first person narrative skips form scene to scene and memory to memory. Irving uses
foreshadowing to hint at some action or meaning to come later in the book. In the first chapter of the
book Tabby, Jonny s mother, dies from a foul ball hit by Owen. It isn t until chapter three that the
foreshadowing off Tabby s death is from being hit in the head with a hailstone.
Wait a minute, she said. Let me out. You get in first. She meant that he was small enough to straddle
the drive shaft hump, in the middle of the seat, between her and Dan, but when she stepped outside the
Buick even for just a second a hailstone ricocheted off the roof of the car and smacked her right
between the eyes. Ow! she cried, holding her head. I M SORRY! Owen said quickly (125).
Overall, this book is very intriguing and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The book is filled with a
roller coaster of emotions due to foreshowing, armlessness and miracles. Johnny s faith in God is
deeper than it ever has been by the end of the book thanks to Owen. The armlessness throughout the
books symbolizes people as well as objects and the foreshowing gives off subtle hints of what is going
to happen in the future, but in this case we already know the future due to the books unchronological
events! A prayer for Owen Meany is a book of full of faith, symbols, and

Gender roles in Pat Barkers Regeneration
Pat Barker uses language effectively in the novel Regeneration to present gender roles and other
themes within the novel. Her presentation of women, emasculation and men taking on more feminine
roles are important for the theme of gender roles within the novel. She also uses language effectively
to present themes of duty and father figures. There is a very small but important female presence in
Regeneration . The first mention of women in the novel is the Voluntary Aid Detachments (VAD s). A
couple of VAD s ran across the room to him, clucking, fussing, flapping ineffectually at his tunic with
a napkin, until eventually they had the sense to get him out of the room . The language Barker uses
compares the women to chickens, the use of until they had the sense shows the women as stupid and
fussing suggests they were making a bigger drama than they needed to about the situation. Later on in
the novel, Barker introduces Sarah Lumb and her friends; they re described in a much more positive
way and are portrayed as strong dominant women. The contrast from the VADs earlier in the novel to
Sarah and her friends later in the novel could suggest that Barker is trying to show how the roles of
women changed as the war progressed. Her positive description of Sarah and her friends could show
Barker is a feminist as she seems to favour the munitionettes to the VADs. Though her own views on
women are presented within the novel, she still accurately represents women s roles in

she s shopping, she says, . . . we needed money for the special things that Rushes Bear liked (96).
Towards the beginning of the story she seems rude and selfish, but as the plot progresses, a softer
more sensitive side to her is revealed. Rushes Bear helps Marie deliver her baby, and after seeing all
the pain Marie went through, she stands up for her while Rushes Bear s son, Nector, is showing no
compassion for Marie. She confronts her son by saying, I only have a daughter. . . You never heard
any wail out of her, any complaint. You never would know this birth was hard enough for her to die

Ethical Dilemma Of The Oil Spill
Ethical Dilemma British petroleum has experienced a series of oil spill accidents since it was
established, however, the 2010 oil spill was considered the worst oil spill accident in the company s
history. The drilling rig in the Deepwater Horizon exploded and killed 11 workers and released
thousands of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico (Arnold McKay 16). The accident affected
different states along the coastline including Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama and Louisiana. In
addition, the oil spill affected the wild life as it killed birds, fish and destroyed nearby ecosystems and
economies including tourism and fishing. Several factors contributed to the oil spill accident including

The organizational culture of arrogance, noncompliance and risk taking contributed to the accident.
The company did not consider corporate social responsibility important and hence it did not drill the
oil in a sustainable way to protect the stakeholders and the environment. Instead, the company
considered profit making a priority instead of the safety of the stakeholders and the public (Arnold
McKay 20). Whistle blowers were laid off and intimidated if they exposed the company s unethical
activities. As a result, the company undertook many projects and it was focused on working on the
frontiers and managing the risk. Besides, the organization protected itself from stakeholder who
questioned the firm s decision to take the risks. The executive managers did not entertain opposing
views. In addition to that, failure to put in place safety measures and risk management policies
contributed to the accident. The OSHA identified flaws in the company s regulations after the
explosion at the Texas oil refinery, but the firm did not address the issues. Instead, the organization
continued to take risks and cut costs and violated the United States law in order to reduce the costs of
producing oil. De Maria identified different strategies that the company should implement to address
the issue and prevent future crises. De Maria believed the organization should be victim focused and
accept the responsibility for the oil spill. BP accepted the responsibility for the oil spill

Therefore, it is through proper planning of future and current airport amenities that the airports

perspectives that is being presented.
It contains over 40,000 octosyllabic lines and over a 100 parts in the series. Even though that other
authors assumes that his tales are not taking in account it s still in a way that is presentable. Thus it
gives little to no imagination or no vivid ideas and that the influence of Chaucer aided his endeavors.
The stories that John Gower has represented has been note as Classical, Medieval, and it s narrated in
a fashion of details that simplifies the story that intrigues the reader. Moreover, John Gower had a
relationship with his fellow poet, Geoffrey Chaucer he was a major character in the book called
Burnable Book . The book illustrates about the relationship between the two and that the two men
relationship were close. One of Gowers flaw of his life is inability to see, it led him to be at a
disadvantage, but he is rich in literacy which made him continue promoting his philosophies.
Before doing all this work, he first worked on his first poem named Miroir de l Omme, or speculum

The Concept of Personal Identity
Personal Identity in philosophy refers to a person s self perception, ones belief about who they are and
how they differ form others. Locke and Hume both share their ideas about Personal identity and
although they might both drastically differ they are still both puzzling. Locke s theory on personal
identity has to do with what make a person the same person over time, and to Locke remaining the
same person doesn t necessarily mean remaining the same physically. For, since consciousness always
accompanies thinking, and it is that which makes every one to be what he calls self, and thereby
distinguishes himself from all other thinking things, in this alone consists personal identity (53). He
believes that personal identity and consciousness go hand in hand, he thinks personal identity is
conceived through ones awareness of current thoughts and actions. You are who you are because of
your thoughts and memories. Locke believes that the only accommodation that should be encountered
in order for a person to still have their identity is the awareness of past experiences. They must be able
to remember there past experiences in order for them to preserve their identity. Locke discusses the
possibility of two forms having the same consciousness. He claims that these two forms, because they
have the same memories, experiences, and consciousness must be the same person. Locke s is trying
to tell us that a person can indeed inhabit two different men. An objection to Locke s view

The Use of Video Games by Kindergartners ina Family Care...
The article The Use of Video Games by Kindergartners in a Family Child Care Setting, by Chiara
Bacigalupa, examines the role of video games in young children s social development. Bacigalupa s
objective involves the lessons children should learn through social activities and experiences. In
particular video games, and if they foster social skills, personalities to be friendly, helpful, and
behaved, and healthy feelings such as confidence, and security. Previous studies revolve around older
children with conflicting views on the topic. However, Bacigalupa aims to observe younger children
directly in their ordinary child care environment. The children were provided with 18 minutes of video
game play where Bacigalupa observed the majority ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although this type of methodology consists of benefits such as seeing real world behaviors with no
constrictions on the children, it also displays setbacks. The lack of controls makes it hard to find a
cause to behaviors. Furthermore, this study is subjective to the one who observed the children because
Bacigalupa drew conclusions on what she saw. Her personal history and opinions of the subject could
of impacted what she discovered. The chance of biased summaries should have readers take the
information with stride as to be conscious to not take everything as facts. Bacigalupa s drew a
conclusion that social development is hindered by video games especially when compared to other
activities as well that parents should give children better alternatives. This is an extreme reflection on
video games effects on young children, which has positive and negatives aspects. During Piaget s
preoperational stage, where these children fall into, a child is said to start to understand the world with
words and images. If video games are not reality based, or portray extreme fantasy, and even violence,
children might take the incoming data as how to behave in real life. Therefore, there needs to be a
caregiver monitoring the video games being played. The children in this stage are also egocentric only
beginning to see other people s viewpoints. If video games are time consuming and make it difficult

developments. Formation of the Kufra Basin began in the Early Paleozoic, and was complete at the
end of the Lower Cretaceous. The Dakhla Basin was presumably formed at the beginning of the

In addition to the geological developments described above, the aquifer area also comprises the upper

minor importance for groundwater resources. The NSAS changes gradually from continental sandy

Analysis Of Bridge Over A Pond Of Water Lilries
Claude Monet s 1899 painting, Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies depicts his cherished garden in
Giverny, France. In the paintings, an arched wooden footbridge extends over a pond abundant with
water lilies. The lush, dense vegetation surrounding the pond is reflected on the surface of the water.
Monet was one of the founders of the Impressionist movement and Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies
is emblematic of an Impressionist painting as it depicts a nature scene using visible brushstrokes and
unblended colors.
Monet is known foremost as an Impressionist, but he was also involved in the late 19th century art
movement known as Japonisme. Japonisme describes a period at the end of the nineteenth century in
Paris during which all things Japanese were very much in vogue, particularly among the arts
(metmuseum.org). In Japonisme: East West Renaissance in the Late 19th Century , Yoko Chiba
describes how a taste for things Japanese swept throughout Europe , its influence covering a wide area
from pictorial to decorative art, from literature to theater (3).
One can consider both Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies, and Monet s water garden as appreciative
and subtle homages to Japanese art. Monet collected Japanese ukiyo e woodblock prints with images
of bridges...since the 1860s (metmuseum.org). He was similarly fond of Japanese gardening and
design. Monet s water garden featured a Japanese style footbridge and pond surrounded by Japanese

Westward Expansion Of The United States
Westward Expansion in the United States created controversy about the admission of new states into
the union. The first provision of the Westward Expansion was the Compromise of 1850. This
compromise was designed to settle disputes among the North and South states about slavery
expansion. Senator Henry Clay proposed that California be admitted as a free slave in a trade off for
tougher fugitive slave laws for runaways. As a part of the compromise of 1950, Congress also passed
the Fugitive Law which required U.S Marshals, deputies, and ordinary citizens to help return slaves to
their owners. Although fugitive laws were very strict, slaves still escaped the oppressive institution of
slavery. The Kansas Nebraska Act of 1854 was the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A black leader from Philadelphia was quoted saying This country is our country as much as it it yours,
and we will not leave. Not to mention that minimal amounts of slaves were illegally imported to the
United States. To send generationally removed slaves (whose ancestors never asked to be kidnapped
anyway) would be unintelligent. After being reluctant to freeing any slaves, Lincoln finally issued the
Emancipation Proclamation on January 1, 1863, three years after the south seceded from the union.
Lincoln, didn t have the power to free slaves in the South because the South was a new nation.
Although it was law that slaves be free, who was going to tell them they were free? Certainly not the
men that made profit off their labor. Even as free men and women, where would they do? Many were
illiterate and only knew farm labor. Black men were denied the opportunity to fight for the union in
the early phases of the war. Ultimately, the union changed their mind and allowed black men. The
decision was not a light hearted one. Even though blacks and white northerners were fighting to end
slavery, white men wanted nothing to do with black men. Often times black men faced discrimination
and violence. White officers did not want to head black regimes in fear of their reputation. Fortunately,
there were successful black regimens. One of those regimes was the 54th

Comparing Odyssey And Siren Song
In an excerpt from Homer s The Odyssey and Siren Song by Margaret Atwood, the speaker s point of
view shapes the portrayal of the alluring and dangerous aspects of the Sirens.
In Atwood s poem, the Sirens are described as alluring from one Siren s point of view due to their
knowledge of how to appeal to men s desires to be heroic, while in Homer s excerpt, Odysseus point
of view believes that the Sirens are appealing solely to him. For example, Odysseus describes the
Siren s voices as honeyed, and to add to the image, pouring from their lips . Honey is generally sweet,
but can also be sticky, resembling the Siren s tactics attempting to lure men in. In the same excerpt,
Odysseus recalls the Sirens call as famous Odysseus, Achaea s

The Role of a Trusted Third Party in Enhancing Electronic...
The Role of Trusted Third Party in Enhancing Electronic Commerce Buying online used to be a bit of
a gamble. There were so many ways hackers could access personal information, or even companies
online could sell that information without the consumer knowing. Moreover, it used to be incredibly
easy to make purchases with a stolen credit card. Luckily for all online shoppers, this is no longer the
case. Third party companies like Verisign and Trust e are now strong providers of security measures
which ensure that online transactions can be verified and trusted, therefore allowing consumers to

Examples Of Feminism In Trifles
A woman is human. She is not better, wiser, stronger, more intelligent, more creative, or more
responsible than a man. Likewise, she is never less. Equality is a given. A woman is human (Nazarian,
V., The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration.). Today in most of the countries, many people think just like
this quote, or have similar opinion about the gender equality. However this was not a normal thing
back in the 1880s, when Susan Glaspell, the writer of the play Trifles, lived. The society back then
followed male dominated society, and many thought that male had more values than female. Susan
Glaspell, as a writer, opposed to this flow, and included many feminist features in her play. The play
Trifles, by Susan Glaspell, reflects a strong feminist ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They were the broken birdcage, dead canary, and wildly stitched quilt. The quilt symbolises the bad
mental condition of Mrs. Wright, the birdcage symbolises her broken heart, and the canary symbolises
herself. First of all, Mrs. Wright was alone for long period of time, because her husband did not let her
go out, and also Mrs. Hale choose not to visit her. This made her mentally tired, and caused her to buy
a canary to fill up her loneliness. However, Mr. Wright seems to not like the bird at all, and killed it by
twisting its head. This action of Mr. Wright became the final blow for Mrs. Wright, and her heart
broke. This is expressed by the broken birdcage. Mrs. Wright decided to kill her husband in the same
way he killed the canary, which is choking him with rope. The historical background have connection
to this, because Mrs. Wright was one example of female who could not get rid of the male dominated
society. Susan Glaspell might have wrote this play to show the irony of the male dominated society.
The male dominated society (Mr. Wright) that killed all enjoyable thing in Mrs. Wright was killed by
her at the last. The play might be open ended, because if Susan wrote the specific murder, that might
have disappointed someone, and the play might not have been played at the first place. Through this
play, Susan wanted to show audiences that how ridiculous the male dominated society is, and this is
one of the points that shows the feminist aspects in this

  • 2. Declaration Of Righteousness Through Christ Declaration of righteousness through Christ Presented to Dr. Martin Sheldon BIBL 425 Romans By Nathan Garçonvil L23590987 Date 09/08/2014 I. Intro Understanding the doctrine of justification by faith should be every Christian primary objective, for it represents the foundation of our entire religious belief. While justification by faith has been the subject of many debates, and the target of many who are trying to undermine the Christian s faith, it remains the most important doctrine in a Christian s life, for it is the only doctrine that separates the Christian faith from many other religions and sects. This theological doctrine has been debated and re debated for years. What is the reasons behind all these disagreement? Why can t human accept the free gift of salvation without associated it with extra work? Is it because we are trying to justify ourselves? Or, is it because the human race is too far evil that it cannot accept being justified as righteous before God? Maybe Thomas Oden put it exactly, when he stated: We in our self assertiveness would much prefer to justify ourselves rather than receive God s free gift....The message of justification is difficult to accept because it seems too good to be true. It says: Stop trying to justify yourself. You do not need to. If we wake up one day and realize, Hey! I don t need to justify myself! then shackles will fall like dropped popcorn, and our inner soul will feel an exhilarating liberation. What ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Difference Between Polyp And Medusa Introduction In this practical assignment I will discuss what are the morphological differences between a polyp and medusa and how does the respective morphology affect the ecology of these body forms. I will construct a hypothesis, write down my results, I will have a discussion and there after a conclusion. My hypothesis I that morphological differences between polyp and medusa will give them different ecological roles. Discussion According to (Miller and Harley, 2016, p157) many cnidarians have two body forms, namely polyp and medusa. Polyps are usually sessile, they attach to substrates like rocks at their aboral end (the end furthest form the mouth). They have a cylindrical body shape, they do not possess gonads, while cnidarians are in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to (Foundation, n.d.) most jellyfish feed on crustaceans (crayfish, shrimp), but many also consume plankton, other invertebrates, fish eggs and larvae. Species that consume fish eggs and larvae can sometimes have an impact on the human and other predator s food supply by causing low fish population levels. This can be extreme when large swarms of jellyfish are present. Next, I will describe anthozoan ecology. Anthozoans are mostly found in reefs (shallow regens in warm tropical oceans). According (Anon, n.d.) coral reefs consist of many cnidarians, they also say that coral reefs are home to a large biodiversity. Coral reefs plays a role in breeding for many species. It is also said that cnidarians can form symbiotic relationships with microorganisms such as algae. The algae lives in the coral body, they photosynthesis and produce oxygen and other substances which the coral can use as nutrients. Finally, I will describe hydrozoan ecology. According (Foundation, n.d.) hydrozoans live in almost all aquatic environments. Many polyps form symbiotic relationships with microorganisms (algae) that live inside them or with larger organisms such as crustaceans (crabs, lobsters, shrimps etc.) they are ... • 4. How Has Chivalry Changed In The Middle Ages The act of chivalry has changed dramatically since the middle ages and since The Canterbury Tales was written. In The Knight s Tale , Chaucer writes about the quest for love between two men who are in love with the same woman. This quest ends in death for one man and love for the other man. Chivalry in the middle ages included Knights that were expected to be warriors and attendants to the King. Knights were expected to fight to the death for love and then represent the kingdom because of their good deeds. Modern chivalry has changed radically from knightly tasks to gentlemanly acts towards women. Today men are expected to be polite and respectful towards not only women they are interested in but to everyone they encounter. Chivalry has become less extreme and therefore less prevalent in today s society but it is still present in some cases. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He was to be an ornament in his Lord s court: affable and restrained, eloquent, and skilled in the music, the hunt and the art of courtly flirting (Alchin). Knights were expected to fight for their community and also work for the King and whatever he needs. Knights were highly thought of and appreciated in medieval times. Typically knights fought to the death for a woman s love. In The Knight s Tale , Chaucer tells the story of Palamon and Arcite and their quest to win the heart of Emily. Both Palamon and Arcite are thrown in jail after Theseus, lord and ruler of Athens, conquered Thebes. Palamon and Arcite were found wounded but not dead and were said to be of royal blood so they were arrested and thrown in jail in Athens. While in jail Palamon spots Emily, Theseus sister in law, through a window and instantly falls in love with her. After Palamon tells Arcite of his love, Arcite sees Emily and also falls in love with her. Trouble arises due to both men falling in love with Emily. Palamon ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Discovery Of Tungsten, Formerly Wolfram Or Wolframite History Tungsten, formerly Wolfram or Wolframite, is not naturally found in nature, and can only be created by taking either protons or neutrons from naturally occurring substances. In the sixteenth century, German smelters discovered it as an accompanying mineral to tin ores. When trying to smelt these ores, they sometimes found foam like deposits would form, consuming the tin ores they found valuable. Due to this phenomenon, it was said that it Tears away the tin and devours it like a wolf devours sheep. and labeled somewhat of a nuisance material. Following his innovations, as soon as ten years later, patents for tungsten used as an alloy in steels, and high speed steels became common strengthening the material by as much as 20 percent. Many of the same steels are still in wide use today. In 1904, Tungsten was used to replace the filaments in lightbulbs, as an alternative to the much less efficient carbon filaments that were the standard of the era. This application was used to illuminate the world, changing the way humans live forever, and is also still in wide use today. Only in recent years have alternatives that are safer and more energy efficient been created. Applications Tungsten is applied to different metals for a variety of uses. In applications where strong steels are needed, tungsten can be added in higher and lower quantities based on need to increase strength due to its increased durability. Some common uses for the material are electron television tubes, filaments in electric lamps, winding/heating elements for electric furnaces, missile/ high temperature applications, and high speed tool steels to name a ... Many schools in the United States mainstream disabled students and have succeeded in properly educating them, along with creating a safe environment where they are socially comfortable and accepted. However, there are too many incidents where teachers improperly handle these students and administrators do not give enough money to fund adequate supplies for these students. Most importantly, children with disabilities have the opportunities to observe, imitate and model the language use of their peers who do not have disabilities (Grabmeier). By following their nondisabled friends, disabled students learn how to better communicate their thoughts, feelings and ideas which makes it easier for teachers to help them and understand them. Another beneficial skill disabled students receive through mainstreaming is positive thinking. According to Kathy Foust, the mainstreaming environment allows disabled students to learn what type of behavior is appropriate and what is not. They learn that listening to a teacher leads to little or no punishments while disobeying a teacher leads to more punishments. Foust also includes that mainstreaming stimulates self esteem because the disabled know they are in regular classes, which makes them proud of themselves. These students believe that since they are in classrooms with nondisabled students, they are in higher and more advance classes. In other words, since students around the disabled are capable of extraordinary things, the disabled feel like they are extraordinary as well, thus having an improved self esteem. • 10. A Midsummer Night s Dream Love, before we can talk about it we must define it; then we can dissect it and reference it. Love is defined in the dictionary as an intense feeling of deep affection. Throughout several of Shakespeare s plays he speaks about love. It is a common theme throughout Shakespeare s plays, both comedies and tragedies, and we can see that Shakespeare is infatuated with love. Shakespeare and I, though poles apart, raised in different times, places, and even of different genders have one thing in common; we both seem to be hopeless romantics. In Shakespeare s plays love seems like a very obtainable reality, love conquers all if you believe in it and fight for it. Love plays a significant part in human life, these characters were made to show how love influences them, how they live and become better for it. To me it seems as though Shakespeare truly believes in love but not love without flaws. It seems as though the flaws themselves can make love stronger or break love. It is hard to imagine that someone could write so many stories and plays without a real definition of love or even without inspiration. Richard II and Richard III both have pros and cons, but more cons than pros. When Shakespeare wrote about these two kings it seems that in his mind his was writing about the negative effects and attributes about being a king. King Richard II was an immature, adolescent acting, irresponsible, neglectful king to say the least. As time and time again Richard the second proves his incompetence, for instance, when Bolingbroke and Mowbray are in a disagreement, and point fingers about the death of Bolingbroke s Uncle. They get so angry they throw down their hats to suggest they want to duel. The king asks them to settle dispute, but they continue to bicker and so King Richard sets a time and place for this duel to give the illusion that he is in control when he clearly is not and just as they are about to duel, the king, to show his power, then exiles them both and they beg him not to exile them but to no ... • 11. Application Of Cellulases On Juice Recovery Application of Cellulases on Juice Recovery Introduction Cellulose is the most abundant compound produced from stalks, leaves, and stems (Shankar, 2011). The use of enzymes in the food industry provides safer and higher quality products. Cellulases are enzymes which break down the sugar cellulose. Cellulase enzymes are produced by fungi, animals, plants, and bacteria. (Zhang 2013) The cellulase enzyme has been used for various industry applications such as the textile industry, paper industry, and juice industry. Cellulases link beta, 1,4 linkages in the cellulose chains (Zhang 2013). There are three types of cellulase enzymes: endoglucanases, exoglucanases, and beta glucosidases. Exoglucanases act on the reducing or non reducing ends of cellulose (Zhang, 2013). Endoglucanases cut the nonreducing ends of cellulose or the beta 1,4 bonds. Endoglucanases are also produced by bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals (Zhang,2013). Lastly, beta glucosidases are produced by archaea, bacteria, fungi, plants, and animals and are known for degrading cellobiose (Zhang, 2013). All three forms of cellulases are produced from animals, bacteria, and plants. The purpose of this paper will be to discuss mainly the cellulase enzyme and its effect on the juice industry in addition to other applications of cellulase, and how cellulase behaves in combination with other enzymes such as pectinase and xylanase. 1. • 12. Sexual Education And Sex Education The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of sexual education and describe differences and similarities in some of the research done on this topic. Having sexual education available to youth is the key in reducing the number of unwanted situations in the sexual health of the individuals. Teaching adolescents about sex is beneficial because they become aware of consequence that might follow specific actions. This is a chance to ensure adolescents take safer routes when deciding to become sexually active. Youth sexual education has been correlated with preventing unplanned pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Many schools have sexual education programs but many teenage pregnancies that are unplanned and STIs are occurring. One reason could be because very few of these sexual education programs are attending to the traditional social norms around sexuality and gender. It is important to consider and focus on the traditional social norms because findings in previous studies have found those that hold traditional social beliefs around gender and sexuality, are at greater risks of negative sexual health consequences. Adolescents should be given the opportunity to receive the proper sexual education in order to eliminate negative sexual health consequences. Researchers have found that individuals in sexual education programs that address traditional social norms and the effects of these beliefs, are less likely to agree with hegemonic masculinity ... Theme, symbols and foreshowing all help tie into the literary elements displayed in the novel. At the beginning of the novel the narrator, Johnny, points out that there is something very special about Owen Meany, not just in the way he talks (shouts) but how deeply devoted Owen is to his religious beliefs. • 14. Gender roles in Pat Barkers Regeneration Pat Barker uses language effectively in the novel Regeneration to present gender roles and other themes within the novel. Her presentation of women, emasculation and men taking on more feminine roles are important for the theme of gender roles within the novel. She also uses language effectively to present themes of duty and father figures. There is a very small but important female presence in Regeneration . The first mention of women in the novel is the Voluntary Aid Detachments (VAD s). A couple of VAD s ran across the room to him, clucking, fussing, flapping ineffectually at his tunic with a napkin, until eventually they had the sense to get him out of the room . The language Barker uses compares the women to chickens, the use of until they had the sense shows the women as stupid and fussing suggests they were making a bigger drama than they needed to about the situation. Later on in the novel, Barker introduces Sarah Lumb and her friends; they re described in a much more positive way and are portrayed as strong dominant women. The contrast from the VADs earlier in the novel to Sarah and her friends later in the novel could suggest that Barker is trying to show how the roles of women changed as the war progressed. Her positive description of Sarah and her friends could show Barker is a feminist as she seems to favour the munitionettes to the VADs. Though her own views on women are presented within the novel, she still accurately represents women s roles in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Locke and Hume both share their ideas about Personal identity and although they might both drastically differ they are still both puzzling. Locke s theory on personal identity has to do with what make a person the same person over time, and to Locke remaining the same person doesn t necessarily mean remaining the same physically. For, since consciousness always accompanies thinking, and it is that which makes every one to be what he calls self, and thereby distinguishes himself from all other thinking things, in this alone consists personal identity (53). He believes that personal identity and consciousness go hand in hand, he thinks personal identity is conceived through ones awareness of current thoughts and actions. You are who you are because of your thoughts and memories. Locke believes that the only accommodation that should be encountered in order for a person to still have their identity is the awareness of past experiences. They must be able to remember there past experiences in order for them to preserve their identity. Locke discusses the possibility of two forms having the same consciousness. Not to mention that minimal amounts of slaves were illegally imported to the United States. Lincoln, didn t have the power to free slaves in the South because the South was a new nation. Although it was law that slaves be free, who was going to tell them they were free? Certainly not the men that made profit off their labor. Even as free men and women, where would they do? Many were illiterate and only knew farm labor. Black men were denied the opportunity to fight for the union in the early phases of the war. Ultimately, the union changed their mind and allowed black men. The decision was not a light hearted one. Even though blacks and white northerners were fighting to end slavery, white men wanted nothing to do with black men. Often times black men faced discrimination and violence. White officers did not want to head black regimes in fear of their reputation. Fortunately, there were successful black regimens. One of those regimes was the 54th ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Comparing Odyssey And Siren Song In an excerpt from Homer s The Odyssey and Siren Song by Margaret Atwood, the speaker s point of view shapes the portrayal of the alluring and dangerous aspects of the Sirens. In Atwood s poem, the Sirens are described as alluring from one Siren s point of view due to their knowledge of how to appeal to men s desires to be heroic, while in Homer s excerpt, Odysseus point of view believes that the Sirens are appealing solely to him. For example, Odysseus describes the Siren s voices as honeyed, and to add to the image, pouring from their lips . Honey is generally sweet, but can also be sticky, resembling the Siren s tactics attempting to lure men in. In the same excerpt, Odysseus recalls the Sirens call as famous Odysseus, Achaea s ... • 36. Examples Of Feminism In Trifles A woman is human. She is not better, wiser, stronger, more intelligent, more creative, or more responsible than a man. Likewise, she is never less. Equality is a given. A woman is human (Nazarian, V., The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration.). Today in most of the countries, many people think just like this quote, or have similar opinion about the gender equality. However this was not a normal thing back in the 1880s, when Susan Glaspell, the writer of the play Trifles, lived. The society back then followed male dominated society, and many thought that male had more values than female. Susan Glaspell, as a writer, opposed to this flow, and included many feminist features in her play. The play Trifles, by Susan Glaspell, reflects a strong feminist ... The play might be open ended, because if Susan wrote the specific murder, that might have disappointed someone, and the play might not have been played at the first place.
