smaller easy to complete modules
Buying an LMS with a plethora of
unwanted features which are hardly used
and which makes navigation difficult.
• Buy an LMS with simple intuitive interface containing only those features that you
cannot live without.
• Wiki Rules: Why Wikipedia is the biggest E-Learning website in the world
– Rule #1: Effectiveness of Learning Content depends on
• Chunking: Size of the learning bytes (Duration, Complexity etc)
• Timing: Delivering the content as the answer, when the learner is asking the question
– Rule #2: Use simple PPTs and Word documents that your team can easily edit or append.
Complex multimedia modules cannot substitute simple story telling.
• The attention span of the learner is directly proportional to the size of the screen.

– Mobile Content: 3-5 mins
– Web/ Laptop Content: 20-30 mins
– Content shown through Projector: 30-60 mins
• Assessment Driven Learning Strategy: Online Assessment is more effective than
Online Content Delivery. The focus should be on completion of assessments, like
CA Exams.

Complex multimedia modules cannot substitute simple story telling. • The attention span of the learner is directly proportional to the size of the screen. Ideal content duration – Mobile Content: 3-5 mins – Web/ Laptop Content: 20-30 mins – Content shown through Projector: 30-60 mins • Assessment Driven Learning Strategy: Online Assessment is more effective than Online Content Delivery.
