Parallel Worlds By Louise Lockwood
Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives by Louise Lockwood is a film showing us how Mark Everett a rockstar
from a band named Eels, soon began to understand who his father Hugh Everett really was after he
had passed away. Mark had plenty of reactions when he began to puzzle everything he knew about his
father together. Mark takes us through his journey with him, as he began to travel the world, and found
his father s old friends to get a better understanding of his father Hugh. While on his journey Mark
discovers that his father was a genius, he had created this theory called Parallel Worlds. We will face
all the reactions Mark developed while filming, and take them into consideration. When Hugh had
first discovered his theory on Parallel Worlds people had trouble with people believing him. Hugh
presented his theory, but it wasn t convincing anyone it was true. He was ignored after discovering
something so groundbreaking. Mark soon began to understand why his father was so isolated back at
home. I understand why Mark began to believe that his father was depressed. This affected their
relationship back at home as well. Mark explains how his family was never showing their love for
each other out in the open. The way they showed their affection for one another was through humor.
After finding this out I soon began to understand where his humor originated from. Hugh worked for
the military for a while, but soon left that when he was invited to lecture in Austin at the University

Malaria In The United States
About one million people die of malaria every year yet it is not highly publicized in the United States.
This is because malaria is not as prevalent in the United States as it is in other parts of the world such
as Africa, Asia and South America. Numerous amounts of people in the United States have heard
about malaria but a lot of people do not know exactly what the disease is. Although people who get
the disease are typically poor, malaria is a parasitic disease that can affect anyone, including the
healthy and wealthy if the right precautions are not taken. This is evident in the case of Fausto Coppi,
a wealthy Italian cyclist who died of malaria in 1959.
Malaria is a disease of the blood that is transmitted from person to person by a female ... Show more

For starters, Coppi could have taken an antimalarial drug 1 2 days before travelling to Burkina Faso, a
country where high malaria transmission occurs and 80 percent of malaria cases are of this deadly
strain. Additionally, the right precaution to take would be using insecticide mosquito nets, which offer
protection against insects and the diseases they carry. Due to the fact that insecticide treated nets kill
the mosquitoes, they help reduce malaria transmission. Bed nets have been shown to greatly reduce
malaria morbidity and mortality. Lastly, Coppi could have been treated with ACTs as opposed to
medication used for bronchial

David Boonin Argument Analysis
As it was presented earlier, David Boonin s interest based argument has three major elements: 1) A
modified future like ours account of Don Marquis, 2) Relationship between desires and right to life,
and 3) Organized cortical brain activity as a necessary condition for the onset of consciousness. It is
the first two elements which are of major concern here.
David Boonin modifies Marquis future like ours argument and converts it to a desire based account,
before developing his analytical distinction of desires that has been shown earlier. Once values and
desires are used interchangeably (which itself raises concerns), the idea that the foetus values its future
or comes to value its future can be restated as that which a foetus desires, ... Show more content on

First, it is not the property of the valuable future that is morally significant. It is the desire for a
valuable future which is morally important. Second, there is an implicit emphasis on the present. The
foetus in this new version desires in the present that its future be preserved. In the original version the
foetus will come to value its future. In fact, the focus on the present is perhaps one of the reasons
Boonin has to focus on desires. What drives Boonin to focus on the present is that the morally
significant property that would confer the status of personhood on the foetus must be actually present
in the foetus for it to qualify as a person. If it is a potential property, an essential property or even a
capacity for a potential property, then Boonin will not be able to argue against those who support the
foetus inviolability from the moment of conception. Boonin must show that the foetus is not inviolable
before they start to have present conscious desires. Since he is basing his argument on Marquis future
like ours argument, any modification of the original argument to the present conscious desires version
must be done in such a way that the same criteria applies to infants, suicidal teenagers, temporary
comatose adults as well as the foetus. In order for the argument to work on all these cases, Boonin
creates the analytical distinctions between the occurrent vs dispositional desires and actual vs ideal
desires, as presented earlier, to say that it is the property of only present ideal dispositional conscious
desires that is a morally significant property for personhood. Once the foetus meets the conditions
necessary of conscious desires, that is from the onset of advanced organised cortical brain activity, a
foetus can have present ideal dispositional conscious

Characterization Of Everyday Use By Alice Walker
Characterization is considered to be an element of literature. Analyzing characterization is the key to
finding a fictional story s theme, and it is made known through direct and indirect characterization.
Direct characterization tells the personality or traits of the character, while indirect presents the
character by their actions. Alice Walker s Everyday Use is a short story that reveals its theme through
characterization and used by exposing the characters values, heritage, and insecurities. The literary
sub¬genre of Everyday Use is realistic fiction. This story focuses its writing and plot around the
values of a rural family. Walker story is about two sisters and a mother who live in a rural section of
Georgia. The oldest daughter left and pursued a college career and after a while she decides visit her
mother. At the end of her visit she intends to leave with some of the family heirlooms two quilts. The
mother finds out her daughter only wants the quilts as a pretense of displaying heritage. Alice Walker
story exposes the theme of heritage. Throughout the story, Walker uses indirect characterization to
describe Dee, and direct characterization to describe Maggie and Mama, in order to reveal the
different ways that people embrace their heritage. The indirect characterization of Dee shows how she
embraces her heritage superficially. While Dee is shown to be spoiled and selfish, throughout the story
her indirect characterization is shown through her own

Mercury Surface Geology
Mercury s most prominent feature is its surface geology. It s almost like the moon, with extensive
mare like plains and heavy cratering, showing that the planet has been geologically inactive for
billions of years. Craters range in diameter from bowl shaped cavities to multi ringed impact basins
hundreds of kilometers across. One of the largest crater is the Caloris Basin, with the diameter of
1,550 km. The impact was so powerful that it caused lava eruptions and a concentrated ring over 2 km
tall surrounding the basin to form. There are two distinct regions of plains on Mercury. These plains
occur between the crater impacts and they bear a strong resemblence to the lunar maria. From the
MESSENGER spacecraft, we were able to see that there ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

ways they can move: divergent, convergent, and transform. Divergent plate movement is when both
plates moving away from each other, creating a canyon that has magma pushing out from the bottom,
forming new ground. Convergent is usually an oceanic plate and a continental plate are moving into

The Greatness of the Bonanno Family In 1908, Joseph Bonanno with his large family from
Castellammarese del Golfo, Italy moved into a large Sicilian neighborhood in Brooklyn. The Family
of six, was introduced to cosa nostra otherwise known as the Mafia as soon as their father began his
own business and became a man of influence. Troubles did occur, as tension between other families
rose threatening their safety which forced them to move back to Italy. Later on in the years, after
returning to Italy. Joseph s father was drafted into World War I and was injured causing him to die

Therefore, the action plan was to spread throughout to Canada and that is where Carmine Galante
current underboss took over. The then Montreal Mafia Boss Vincent Contrini, spoke of involving the
idea of drugtrafficking into the Bonanno business. Along with many other bosses, that may or many

Network Flows
Author: versity. Arthur M. Hobbs, Department of Mathematics, Texas A M Uni
Prerequisites: The prerequisites for this chapter are graphs and trees. See
Sections 9.1 and 10.1 of Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications.
Introduction
In this chapter we solve three very different problems.
Example 1
Joe the plumber has made an interesting offer. He says he has lots of short pieces of varying gauges of
copper pipe; they are nearly worthless to him, but for only 1/5 of the usual cost of installing a
plumbing connection under your house, he will use a bunch of T and Y joints he picked up at a distress
sale and these small pipes to build the network shown in Figure 1. He claims that it will deliver three
gallons per minute ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Example 4
Find a flow in the graph of Figure 3.
Solution:
The path p = s, b, a, t extends from s to t, and seen as a sequence of pipes, the largest amount of flow
that could travel along it is the minimum of the capacities of the pipes comprising it. This minimum is
2, which is c(s, b)

and also c(b, a). Thus we put number pairs on each of the edges, the second entry being 2 for each
edge in the path and 0 for the other two edges. The result is shown in Figure 4.
Figure 4.
Graph of Figure 3 with flow along path s,b,a,t.
There are two ways we can view a flow, and Example 4 illustrates them both. One view is to trace out
the path from the source to the sink of one or more units of flow. In the example, path p is such a path.
The other view is to measure the total flow in each edge of the graph. This view is shown in the
example by our placing the amount of flow along each edge. Since there is actually only one flow,
namely the orderly procession of fluid from the source to the sink through the network, these two
views must be equivalent.
When solving the problem of finding maximum flows through the graph, the second view is preferable
for two reasons. If we are searching a very large network by hand, it may well be impossible for us to
find a best set

Air Pollution And Its Effects On The World
ABSTRACT
Present day scenario of Delhi in terms of air pollution is undermining and is predicted to continue
growing on that front. The air quality, in fact, is the worst of all the major cities in the world. One of
the reasons for the suffering air quality is Vehicular Pollution which is mainly due to the fuels. This
paper mainly intensifies on the use of CNG instead of Petroleum based fuels like petrol and diesel. It
compares all of the above with respect to pollution control as well as the expenses associated with
their use to suit the general public. This paper provides the current status of the use of these fuels and
their preferences.
INTRODUCTION
Normal human activity is more harmful for nature than the greatest wars or nuclear explosions in
history. For the last decade, pollution has been on a steep rise all across the world with air pollution
taking a lead. In India, particularly in Delhi, the level of pollution is scarily high making it the
eleventh most polluted metropolis in the world[1]. A considerable role in pollution is played by Air
pollution. Air pollution is caused by road dust, industrial gases, vehicular pollution, burning of solid
wastes and concrete batching[2].
Vehicular Pollution is due to emissions from vehicle including PM10 and PM2.5, Sulphur Oxides,
Nitrogen Oxides, Volatile organic compounds, CO, air pollutants including Benzene, Carbon di oxide
(owning to the greenhouse effect), partially burnt Hydro Carbons and certain amount of Lead.

Odysseus is Not a Hero for the Modern Age Essay
Many would argue that Odysseus is more of a villain nowadays, for every instance of his wiliness or
feats of strength there are several of venality, vice, cruelty, or selfishness. The episode of the Sirens,
(Book 12), is one example. The only reason Odysseus ties himself up to the mast, when instead he
could have simply plugged his ears with wax like the rest of his crew, is that he chooses the
jeopardous choice, wanting to go down in the books by being the first man to ever listen to the Sirens
song and live. In consequence he possibly endangers the rest of his crew from safely reaching home
by endangering himself. While Odysseus many adventures are very exciting, he spends a considerable
amount of time cheating on his wife (with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the time of the so called Heroic Age (roughly the Mycenaean Age, the time of the Trojan War, 1200
1100 BCE or thereabouts) standards were much, much different, and some of them, at least, for very
good reasons. Probably by those standards (or the standards of Homer s time, some 400 years later)
Odysseus was considerably closer to a hero than he would be in our eyes today. Perhaps, what might
now be seen as grotesquely excessive blood letting, would then have been seen as an understandable
or even necessary act of retribution
Again, Odysseus darker and immoral acts could be viewed could viewed as metaphors for and/or
accurate reflections of the imperfection of the human race. Characteristics that show that heroes too
are flawed. A hero who has some shortcomings is a more believable character, they may be godly in
the sense that they do what no one else can, but that they are still only human. Drawing on this,
Odysseus can be considered a hero for modern times. He possesses admiral skills, such as
commitment and knowledge, which are still considered heroic today. He uses these traits to protect
himself and his crew as they make the long journey home. Although Odysseus is renowned for his
expertise in fighting, he is

Nasal polyps are small noncancerous growths that resemble peeled grapes. They range in size with
nasal polyps growing large enough to obstruct the sinuses and the nasal cavity. There are many
methods for treating nasal polyps from homeopathic, steroids, and surgery. Nasal polyps can be
managed and often eliminated for short periods of time. Nasal polyps are irritated by severe allergy
drainage and are often found in individuals that suffer from severe allergies and asthma.
Steroid Medications for the Treatment of Nasal Polyps

Tipping Exercises
Who would not want a lean and ripped physique? A lot of people want such a physique but wanting
the physique and actually acquiring one are two different things. Can you acquire it? You can develop
a ripped and defined look as long as you are willing to put the right effort into the process. Here are
some insights into how to do so.
The way you get ripped is through a mix of weight training, diet, and exercise. Such a three pronged
approach needs to complement the goals of having a lean and defined body. You do not want to
perform exercises that promote a different goal since those exercises will take you down a completely
different path. The current path you are interested in is becoming defined so you need exercises and
strategies that promote ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
You won t get a ripped physique from weightlifting alone. You will need to eat the proper diet and this
is achieved by cutting calories and eating healthy. The less fat you have on your frame, the more
ripped you will appear. That means you will need to diet in such a way that you become quite leaner
and more cut. If you are not serious about cleaning up your diet, you will not become ripped. That is a
fact!
And yes, you will positively need to perform a lot of cardio work. There are two reasons for this. First,
when you are doing a great deal of cardio work, you will burn more calories which means of course,
you will end up with a leaner and more ripped physique. There is another benefit to cardio work that
some might not be completely aware of. Namely, when you are doing your cardio sessions, you are
engaging all the muscles in your body and helping them to become stronger and more defined. The
higher the intensity of your cardio work the greater the potential for this outcome to occur.
This three pronged approach has many merits. In fact, you really would have a tough time getting a
ripped physique if you did not integrate all three of these components into your workouts. Those that
do put the proper effort into their workout sessions and also eat the right diet might find their goals of
becoming ripped and shredded could take as little as a few

Racism In Public Space Essay
Life is very difficult in public spaces. It not only has the twists and turns but, for minorities, is racist.
Ever since the slave days, African Americans have known to be cautious around police. A few decades
ago, the Jim Crow laws legalized separation of races in numerous public spaces. Most blacks have had
to adapt to racism and profiling, which is by police due to the white majority in American cities. The
recent epidemic of police shootings has made the situation even more worrisome. One can see the
effects of this in the streets, the television, and most importantly, the police. Racism in public space

separation between whites and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Not excluded, to Zimmerman, racism in the culture of Sanford affected the police as deeply as the
citizens.
Racism in public space influences police perceptions of African Americans through community
emotions. There were various opinions in Sanford natives after Martin s death about the racism of
police and the overall community. The black natives there felt that police only get but one side,
(Onwuachi Willig 1166). The racial minority felt total abandonment from the police in important times
of stress and grief. In expression of how the other side of the community felt, a white neighbor of
Zimmerman said of the unity of Caucasians and of African Americans in Sandford that they don t
want to be with us and we don t want to be with them, (Onwuachi Willig 1177). It is not a surprise that
community emotions were filled with anger in both blacks and whites and the police proved
themselves unable to provide help. Emotions cannot just influence one s opinions of the community,
but one s opinions of their job. The racial community divide shown within these quotes extends far
beyond Sanford county and the state of Florida. It is paramount across many American communities
and cites. Whites fear those of black color and implicit fear is common within this majority. In a recent
NYC study, whites showed to feel the most comfortable with the police and least likely to view police
brutality as a problem compared to minorities (Fine, et al. 149). While many blacks

In Plato S Euthyphro, Socrates And Euthyphro Discuss The
In Plato s Euthyphro, Socrates and Euthyphro discuss the nature of piety. Euthyphro first proposed
that piety is that which the gods love. His proposal was quickly objected by Socrates though, since the
gods often disputed amongst themselves and therefore what one loves can be what another hates.
Euthyphro then revised his hypothesis to say that piety is that which the gods love unanimously and
for the moment this was their conclusion. This definition however, that piety is what the gods love
unanimously, further proposed the question of whether the gods love the pious because it is pious or
whether the pious is pious solely because the gods love it. If it is true that the gods love the pious
because it is pious then the definition of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In saying that things are not good by virtue of any rule of goodness but solely by virtue of the will of
God, it seems to me that we unknowingly destroy all of God s love and all his glory. For why praise
him for what he has done if he would be equally praiseworthy in doing the exact contrary?
(1)Therefore there must be some moral standards independent of God that would be right or wrong
regardless of his being. This conclusion creates another problem, it could mean that God has no
freewill as he can not then act outside of the presupposed good morals and therefore can not make his
own decisions. If there are moral standards independent of God and his will then that would limit God
s sovereignty. It binds God to something that makes him not independent. Instead of the good being
established by him he is established by what is good and in essence a new god is created. This is used
as a common argument for atheism, For if morality can exist without God there is no need to answer
for the inherent sense of morale that humanity has in some context no matter what culture they are
raised in.
There are also those who would believe in the divine command theory, otherwise known as
voluntarism. One philosopher named Duns Scotus held the opinion that the ten commandments do not
all follow the natural law. In other words not everything God commands the world to obey is
inherently morale to the world. Scotus believed that while

What are the implications for Teletech s resource allocation strategy? Looking at the graph above,
when Teletech Corp. uses the constant hurdle rate, Telecommunications services which earns 9.1% on
capital is underneath of the company s hurdle rate. Moreover, the P S which promises to earn 11% on
capital is above the company s hurdle rate. However, the result may be reversed by looking at the
graph with adjusted risk hurdle rates. It is clear that company is doing better than they should in the
telecommunication segment, because they are getting higher return in comparison to the risk they are
taking. On the other hand, P S segment is not doing as well as it should, because return is getting
lower than the risk taken by the company. That is to say, constant and risk adjusted hurdle rate lead to
the different results when Teletech Corp. evaluated its ROR. Implications that company are facing in
this strategy are that they are going with the constant hurdle rate for all of its segments, which is not
viable. For this reason the company is not adding the extra value of the NPV that these segments are
producing and resulting in a lower value for the shareholders. 4. Do you agree that all money is green

How Does Maya Angelou Relate To Racism
Maya Angelou and the Theme of Racism
Poems provide a new insight and portray many meanings. Maya Angelou, born in 1928, was a highly
achieved, versatile woman whom is an author, poet, dancer, and actress. In her poems and in life,
racism is integrated. This is seen in Angelou s familial and other life experiences, the literary devices
seen in Still I Rise, and the extension of the metaphor in Caged Bird.
Maya Angelou was born in St. Louis, MO and soon later moved to a segregated part of AK, known as
Stamps. This relocation was because of her parents divorce and Angelou was only 3 when it
happened. When this 7 year old girl was visiting her mother back in MO, she suffered at the hands of a
family associate (Maya Angelou Biography). According to Poetry Foundation, Maya was raped by her
mother s boyfriend. As a result of this crime , Maya s uncles killed this man. This man was able to be
killed because seeing Angelou was black, this man only received a one day sentence for the rape. This
time, 1930 s, was still a time for racism. As a child, these traumatic events caused ... Show more

Here we go, my father said with excitement.
At the beginning of the blue colored track, there was a sharp turn. As soon as all of the carts complete

High profile cases can receive a lot of unwanted media attention. As a result of this media attention,
this can lead to an unfair advantage for the three components of the criminal justice system especially
within police investigations. As high profile cases tend to get more media exposure, the pressure that
the state enhances its authority over the police to solve the case tends to get swifter than they would

of its bizarre nature and innuendos and facts surrounding the case. When police investigators arrived
at the scene, they immediately assessed the crime scene and gathered and preserved the evidence at
the crime scene. The evidence that the police investigators found was a ransom note that demanded
$50,000 dollars in total and to be broken up into small bills; $25,000 in 20 dollar bills, $15,000 in 10

why the ransom note was singed into some German childish symbols. There was also misspellings in

Invention Of Electronic Music
One of the largest contributors to electronic music today is Thaddeus Cahill (Lejaren Hiller, Electronic
Music). His telharmonium was created with an assembly of rotary generators and telephone receivers
to convert electronic signals to into sound (Lejaren Hiller). He developed his invention from 1895 and
continued to work on it even though there were no ways for the sounds being created from the
electrical signals to be heard. Speakers or amplifiers were non existent for some time even after the
development of Cahill s invention, and his instrument was the ancestor of present day electronic music
synthesizers (Lejaren Hiller, Electronic Music). Furthermore, Cahill s invention spurred the
development of other electric instruments such as the electronic organ. In the 1920s, more electronic
instruments were invented, some of which being monophonic meaning that only one note could be
played at a time (Lejaren Hiller, Electronic Music). One of the more common monophonic electric
instruments was the theremin invented by Russian scientist Leon Theremin (Britannica, Theremin
Musical Instrument). The theremin produces sine waves and is a box with radio tubes producing
oscillation at two sound wave frequencies above the range of hearing; together they produce a lower
audible frequency equal to the difference in their rates of vibration (Britannica, Theremin Musical
Instrument) . By moving one s hand or a wand in front of the antennas, one could control the pitch

Scientific Revolution Enlightenment
Is it possible for a revolution to occur overnight? No. A Revolution is the wish to overthrow a
government or social belief to achieve a new political or belief system in the course of several years.
These revolts or breakthroughs tend to occur when the essential needs of the common people are not
being met. Between 1500 1800 in Europe, literature also reflected historical events including famous
romantic novels such as Frankenstein and A Tale of Two Cities. For my Winter Trimester Final in

During the Enlightenment Period, philosophers questioned what is truth along with how to break free
from tutelage, instructions or learning from others. When the poor people looked at the way France
was being run, they questioned why the upper class was not being taxed as heavily as themselves. In
these secret meetings, a group of men entitled the National Constituent Assembly created the
Declaration of Men which stated Men are born and remain free and equal in rights (National
Constituent Assembly). This was the first document of its kind where all people could be created equal
no matter what class. Rich and poor would pay equal taxes and be given the same respect by the
government. This document would later become the first step toward writing a new constitution for
France. Sixty years after the French Revolution was completed, Charles Dickens wrote A Tale of Two
Cities, which reflected the French Revolution with characters from both France and England.
Throughout the book, Dickens makes reference to the comparison of wine verses blood and how this
symbolized the revolution itself. This comparison is shown when Dickens states The time was to
come, when that wine too would be spilled on the street stones, and when the stain of it would be red
upon many there (Dickens 22). In this quote, Dickens hints at the lethal mistakes in the revolutionaries

United Nations Shortcomings
The United Nations is one of the most well known international organizations in the world. It tries to
serve the task of maintaining international order by promoting international collaboration throughout
its 193 member states and various agencies. The United Nations facilitates order by the coordination
of international security, international law, economic development, human rights, social progress, and
trying to maintain world peace. Overall, the United Nations has failed to deliver on its main objectives
which has resulted in the organization having little to no power. The United Nations shortcomings are
evidently shown through the United Nations Security Council s (UNSC) unsuccessful prevention of
international conflicts, its organization s ignorance towards human rights crimes, and the little to no
authoritative power that the organization possesses in resolving conflicts as a mediator.
The United Nations most widely known purpose is to prevent conflicts within and between countries.
However, the United Nations has failed to prevent a plethora of conflicts, resulting in catastrophic
consequences. An ongoing conflict, The Somali Civil War began in 1991. In 1992, as the Somali Civil
War crisis worsened, the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) sanctioned the Unified Task Force
(UNITAF) to initiate a safe and protective environment to allow humanitarian efforts to proceed.
However, the UN s efforts completely failed, resulting in a crisis.

In recent decades of the technological era we are seeing an increasing scope of the United States
national government. Economic intervention, welfare services and homeland security were never
planned to be a part of the national government s agenda. These programs naturally became rolls of
the federal government as time has passed through the needs of the people. The national government
has drastically changed over the past 200 years since the original design. During the civil war and
following the great depression the federal government took a major leap in the balance of power. The

Today, we categorize those who supported ratification of the Constitution and the federal government
as the Federalist. Those who opposed it are known as the Anti Federalist. The Anti Federalist feared
that this new government design would be too powerful and tyrannical just like the monarch of Great
Britain. Instead they supported local, state governments. The Federalist wrote series of papers known
as the Federalist Papers, in which they responded to the concerns of the Anti Federalist. Many times
disproving claims of tyranny. In the 69th Federalist Paper, Alexander Hamilton addresses the concern
of the presidential powers, ...the President will resemble equally that of the king of Great Britain and
of the governor of New York (1788). The federalist believed that the national government should hold
authority in most matters, like that of a king. At the same time there would be checks and balances on
the president just like a governor. The Federalist did not want a tyrannical government, and believed
that the Constitution would protected them from such. A compromise had to be made to determine the
fate of the United States.
To resolve their differences, the Anti Federalist drafted a list of rights protecting all citizens, now more
commonly known as the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights secured the rights of citizens, while also
limiting the scope of the national government under the 10th amendment. The framers designed a

Information systems can be analyzed in this circular motion. For example, if you have a system that is

market, and learn from it. 3. Figure 1 2 and figure 1 3 are similar because they both show how the
cycle should be followed when analyzing a system. Figure 1 2 is different from figure 1 3 because the

Joshua 6: 14 17
You can shout now; the Battle is over
There are times in our lives when we must face some battles we think we cannot win. When such
occurs, God by his Spirit gives you the victory.
In Joshua, the 6th chapter God gave the city of Jericho into the hands of Israel. I want to tell of some
of the events that led up to the victory of Jericho. Joshua and the people of Israel ventured out from
Shittim in Chapter 3 of the book of Joshua before they cross the Jordan River. Shittim was a place in
the land of Moab where they had rested from their victories over the cities of Sihon and OG and the
Ark of the Lord was with them. Who was Joshua? Joshua was the son of Nun and the tribe of
Ephraim. Joshua s name means savior, a deliverer, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The enemy attacks you for what you do not know. The areas the faith we need the most is where we
are the weakest. Do you believe God has already prepared for you things you never thought you
would have? However, do not allow your unbelief to block you from seeing it. God knows our
weakness and if we have strong faith in him we will have our victories. As a result, you must have a
one on one relationship with Jesus. My faith and trust in Jesus brought me through the battle with
Cancer. I know God is a healer and he would not have brought me this far to leave me. Jesus said if I
have the faith of a grain of mustard seed, I can move any mountain, wall, and sickness out of my life.
In Isaiah Chapter 53: 5 states with Jesus stripes I am healed. I have the Faith and confidence in

Tracer Patient Audit
With an audit by the Joint Commission (JC) in the near future, Nightingale Community Hospital
(NCH) is performing a tracer patient survey to measure our compliance and identify issues that are in
need of remediation. The practice of this type of survey tracks a patient s care for the duration of their

to assess our strengths and weaknesses concerning policy, procedures, and systems in place to provide
quality care in conjunction with the standards set forth by the JC.

form that they understand the new policy and corresponding procedures, and received training within
14 days of establishment of the new policy The third part of the action plan will be to assess the
progress of changes. This requires measuring current and future performance against past
performance, which will need to be assessed more in depth than the initial tracer patient audit. The last
portion of the corrective action plan not only assesses the change, but might also include further
revisions to the change in policy and procedures if it is found that performance is inconsistent with the
standards set forth by the Joint Commission. The part of the plan has four parts that consist of: 1.

Old man and the sea Essay
The epic journey of The Old Man and the Sea describes struggle, discipline and manhood. The main
characters relationships exemplify how faith and skill overcome man s adversity during life on the sea.
Santiago s growing relationship with the boy idealizes his statute as a father figure and develops his
integrity and values towards the boy. Hemmingway shows us how an old fisherman s will to overcome
the sea s obstacles proves his manhood to himself and the young boy. His skills and knowledge of the
sea provide a positive influence for the young boy to become a great fisherman someday.
Throughout the constant struggle between Santiago and the fish, he is forced to prove his skills as a
fisherman and conduct his discipline to retain his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He did not truly feel good because the pain from the cord across his back had almost passed pain and
into dullness that he mistrusted. (74) Once both the fish and Santiago had reached the breaking point
of conflict the story seemed to slow down in time to exemplify the adverse conditions that both
characters were suffering from. The old man proves himself worthy of personal suffering with the cuts
and scars on his hands and back along with all of the pulling and slipping the cords had upon his
fragile body. Hemmingway shows in a big way how an out of proportioned conflict with an old
fisherman and an 18 foot long marlin helps to magnify the significance of Santiago searching for his
rebirth to manhood. With constant abstraction describing the fish and the sea in relation to
brotherhood create interesting questions for Santiago to ponder. His rationalization for his fishing is
that he was born to do it. A man can be destroyed but not defeated. (103) Hemmingway proves that
this fish represents all of Santiago s built up tension to total the size of a gigantic marlin that is
perceived as devastating but not unconquerable. The old man s hopes and aspirations can overcome
the adversity of the marlin s size, along with the conditions of the old, hungry, and exhausted
fisherman. Through outright suffering Santiago achieves a goal above his previous manhood by
combating pain and

Hidden Meaning In Shakespeare s Romeo And Juliet
Most believe that the theme of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare is if one s astrology signs do
not match up then they not ment to be together. Although, what most fail to realize is that Shakespeare
has a hidden meaning cleverly masked by the thought of Romeo and Juliet being Star Crossed lovers
controlled by fate and destiny. Then, when one takes a deeper look at the play it reveals a very
different meaning. Shakespeare s hidden meaning is all about human condition. Romeo and Juliet is
hinged around two star crossed lovers, whose affections are cruelly ripped apart by their parents long
lasting feud. The play is structured so that the ending is inevitable, and all of the outcomes in the play
are due to the characters human conditions and the effect of others playing into the tragic ending.
Shakespeare s Romeo and Juliet is far more about the nature of hating thy neighbor rather than loving
thy neighbor, though ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Four of the five major characters, Romeo,Juliet and Mercutio and Tybalt all have the same after effect,
death. Due to not only their parents immaturity and hostility, but, their own as well. Each character s
actions played a small part in influencing Romeo and Juliet s fate, each of these characters share one
of the same personal characteristics that is exhibited in all different forms. This characteristic is the
same emotion that Shakespeare has hidden, hostility.
Tybalt s fiery conduct and use of weapons, plays a major role in the death of Romeo and Juliet. From
the first time Tybalt is introduced it becomes obvious of his major importance in the play. The first

Project Requirements Of AAir Quality
3 Feasibility Study
3.1 Project requirements
The main requirements of this project is to create a solution that is capable of detecting a change of air
quality in a room(s) without a physical connection to the sensor and the web page host.
The sensor must be able to detect a change in air quality such as temperature and humidity. A wireless
network connection will be required so that data can be submitted to a webpage which will be
constantly updated via a live stream.
There must be some form of interaction with the end user, being able to send an alarm warning the
user about the room condition or a warning system on the sensor webpage with an alert on the page.
Also the webpage must be able to display multiple results in the event additional sensors are added.
3.2 Potential solutions and technical feasibility
I have three potential solutions, however there is only a slight variation between them, as a result, I
will make statements on the changes in the following solutions, and note in the title will cover what
area the solution covers to prevent repetition.
3.2.1 Solution 1 Temperature humidity sensor with XML data format
The first stage would be to build or obtain(both have advantages, building a sensor is more flexible
plus be more accessible but would be time consuming whereas obtaining one would be more
restrictive but it would save time for more important tasks) a sensor that can detect fluctuations in
temperature and humidity.
The next step would be to

Franca Sozzani Research Paper
Known as an important Italian Journalist, Franca Sozzani can be considered the mother of diversity
and bravery. She was a darer not only for topics and images that the majority of fashion publications
avoided, but also for her big social commitment towards outcasts. I have decided to choose this great
personality among many others because I personally admire her in a professional and humanity way.
She was born the 20th January 1950 and grew up in Mantua, a beautiful, little and historical city in
Italy that in 2016 became Italian Capital of Culture. Franca Sozzani studied Germanic languages and
Philosophy at Cattolica del Sacro Cuore University in Milan, graduating in 1973. She married at the

fashion word is gone. What I personally admire about this woman is not only the fact that she changed
the way fashion magazines and newspapers express themselves but also for her good intentions. She
was a strong woman with a big heart, a good example of true benevolence. From a humanitarian point
of view as a matter of fact, Sozzani has been awarded the Legion of Honour by French president
Nicolas Sarkozy in 2012. The same year she became a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. Two
years later, she was named a global Ambassador against hunger for the United Nations World Food

The Raft Of Medusa
The Romantic Period of Art was unlike any other period of art because of the level of emotion behind
each painting or work of out. Most of the works of art I have come across have been very dramatic
and emotional for the audience. The one that I am going to focus on is The Raft of Medusa. The Raft
of Medusa is an oil painting from 1818 1819 by Theodore Gericult of France. This painting shows me
that Theodore was trying to show his viewers what it was like for a ship to rec and having the
passengers struggling to survive. The background of this story comes from a ship went down and the
crew men were started to worry. Struggling for their lives they began to become crazy. Some even
began eating each other and struggling to remain on that little

Alienation In The Filipino Seafarers
Introduction When Filipinos hear the word seaman or seafarer , we generally have a constructed
stereotype to judge that person from the said line of work. Usually, they are regarded as well off, an
owner of a rather big house in the neighborhood, and of the upper middle class. In other words,
seafarers are highly regarded in a typical Filipino community to the extent that they are misjudged by
many just because of their nature of work and this becomes a ground for social alienation amongst
members of the society. Though this does not generally detach the modern Filipino seafarer to its
contribution to the nation s progress, the trouble begins when they are dealing with their own families;
such is the psychological effect of alienation for Overseas Filipino Workers such as seafarers and the
most worry some is the rift created between their children ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this case, that very same alienation extends to the family s extremities, and help the children to take
a similar path on their parents line of work, especially in the case of seafarers. This, in turn, makes the
phenomenon of alienation progressive, passed down generations all for the sole goal of financial
success and the most troubling of it all is that OFW s may not even be fully aware of such a
psychological phenomenon gripping their families. In hindsight, due to the militaristic approach for
maritime education, for cadets, this is seen as preparation for the hardships that is faced at sea.
Because of the said reasons, this study will be then concerned about fully understanding the Socio
Political alienation of Maritime students in the current industry, its causes and effects as a
psychological phenomenon, and how to increase the awareness of Filipino Maritime students that such
a phenomenon

The Workplace Of The Civil Rights Act
2) a. In the workplace everyone should have equal opportunity to advance in their line of work.
Employers should not discriminate anyone who tries for the job. In this case, the veteran wants to
apply for a supervisory position. With the details about him suffering from back pain do to his
Vietnam conflict experiences, employers most likely would not promote him. However, under the
Americans with Disabilities Act, employers are not allowed to discriminate anyone based on a
disability. So in this case, employers have to see past the disability and focus on his credentials and
skills.
b. One law that can benefit this woman against the off color jokes sprouted by her co workers is Title
VII of the Civil Rights Act. This act forbids the discrimination based on race, age, sex, color, or
national origin. The co workers who tell the jokes are violating this rule because they are causing the
woman to feel uncomfortable.
c. In businesses, the employers need to hire the best employees for the job. These employees are found
through their credentials and skills, or at least they should be. If companies choose people based on
color, race, sex, national origin, etc.; the company is violating the Equal Employment Opportunity
Commission and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Both these prohibit the discrimination of color,
race, sex, national origin, etc. If the company can demonstrate that they chose their people based on
skill, then that is fine. However, if they did discriminate based

Dubailand: Destination Dubai
The biggest war that any country can engage in is that of development. Although it is a long and costly
war, the number of soldiers increases instead of decreasing. So let s take part in the war of
development together, and let our victims be poverty, ignorance, and backwardness. Sheik
Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai1 Dubailand, designed to be the world s

The Stigma Of Receiving Therapy For Mental Illness
One of the most difficult aspects of treating patients who suffer from trichotillomania (TTM),
commonly called hair pulling disorder, is that most prefer to remain invisible. They are creative at
finding ways to hide their illness. Most cover up with head scarves, hats, hoodies, and carry on as if
nothing is wrong.Treatment for TTM is accessible through the NHS, yet the stigma of receiving
therapy for mental illness is still strong enough to keep many patients with TTM away from
psychologists, even when they have suffered significant hair loss. The key to eliminating this stigma is
education and transparency. In order to better understanding of this impulse disorder, it is important to
look closely at the causes, symptoms, and behaviors. Once these are understood, working with a
psychologist to plan effective treatment becomes as easy as walking into their practice. Here are the
basics about trichotillomania, and how a psychologist can help with finding the right treatment.
What is Trichotillomania (TTM)?
TTM is a psychological disorder identified as an impulse control disorder. Contrary to popular belief,
TTM is not a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). The two disorders can coexist due to
their shared irresistible urges, though they are diagnosed separately and treated separately. TTM also
bears a close resemblance to Compulsive Skin Picking, though this is also considered a separate
disorder with different diagnosis and treatment options.

  • 2. Parallel Worlds By Louise Lockwood Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives by Louise Lockwood is a film showing us how Mark Everett a rockstar from a band named Eels, soon began to understand who his father Hugh Everett really was after he had passed away. Mark had plenty of reactions when he began to puzzle everything he knew about his father together. Mark takes us through his journey with him, as he began to travel the world, and found his father s old friends to get a better understanding of his father Hugh. While on his journey Mark discovers that his father was a genius, he had created this theory called Parallel Worlds. We will face all the reactions Mark developed while filming, and take them into consideration. When Hugh had first discovered his theory on Parallel Worlds people had trouble with people believing him. Hugh presented his theory, but it wasn t convincing anyone it was true. He was ignored after discovering something so groundbreaking. Mark soon began to understand why his father was so isolated back at home. I understand why Mark began to believe that his father was depressed. This affected their relationship back at home as well. Mark explains how his family was never showing their love for each other out in the open. The way they showed their affection for one another was through humor. After finding this out I soon began to understand where his humor originated from. Hugh worked for the military for a while, but soon left that when he was invited to lecture in Austin at the University ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This is because malaria is not as prevalent in the United States as it is in other parts of the world such as Africa, Asia and South America. Numerous amounts of people in the United States have heard about malaria but a lot of people do not know exactly what the disease is. Although people who get the disease are typically poor, malaria is a parasitic disease that can affect anyone, including the healthy and wealthy if the right precautions are not taken. This is evident in the case of Fausto Coppi, a wealthy Italian cyclist who died of malaria in 1959. Malaria is a disease of the blood that is transmitted from person to person by a female ... For starters, Coppi could have taken an antimalarial drug 1 2 days before travelling to Burkina Faso, a country where high malaria transmission occurs and 80 percent of malaria cases are of this deadly strain. Additionally, the right precaution to take would be using insecticide mosquito nets, which offer protection against insects and the diseases they carry. Due to the fact that insecticide treated nets kill the mosquitoes, they help reduce malaria transmission. Bed nets have been shown to greatly reduce malaria morbidity and mortality. Lastly, Coppi could have been treated with ACTs as opposed to medication used for bronchial ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. David Boonin Argument Analysis As it was presented earlier, David Boonin s interest based argument has three major elements: 1) A modified future like ours account of Don Marquis, 2) Relationship between desires and right to life, and 3) Organized cortical brain activity as a necessary condition for the onset of consciousness. It is the first two elements which are of major concern here. David Boonin modifies Marquis future like ours argument and converts it to a desire based account, before developing his analytical distinction of desires that has been shown earlier. Once values and desires are used interchangeably (which itself raises concerns), the idea that the foetus values its future or comes to value its future can be restated as that which a foetus desires, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... First, it is not the property of the valuable future that is morally significant. It is the desire for a valuable future which is morally important. Second, there is an implicit emphasis on the present. The foetus in this new version desires in the present that its future be preserved. In the original version the foetus will come to value its future. In fact, the focus on the present is perhaps one of the reasons Boonin has to focus on desires. What drives Boonin to focus on the present is that the morally significant property that would confer the status of personhood on the foetus must be actually present in the foetus for it to qualify as a person. If it is a potential property, an essential property or even a capacity for a potential property, then Boonin will not be able to argue against those who support the foetus inviolability from the moment of conception. Boonin must show that the foetus is not inviolable before they start to have present conscious desires. Since he is basing his argument on Marquis future like ours argument, any modification of the original argument to the present conscious desires version must be done in such a way that the same criteria applies to infants, suicidal teenagers, temporary comatose adults as well as the foetus. In order for the argument to work on all these cases, Boonin creates the analytical distinctions between the occurrent vs dispositional desires and actual vs ideal desires, as presented earlier, to say that it is the property of only present ideal dispositional conscious desires that is a morally significant property for personhood. Once the foetus meets the conditions necessary of conscious desires, that is from the onset of advanced organised cortical brain activity, a foetus can have present ideal dispositional conscious ... • 5. Characterization Of Everyday Use By Alice Walker Characterization is considered to be an element of literature. Analyzing characterization is the key to finding a fictional story s theme, and it is made known through direct and indirect characterization. Direct characterization tells the personality or traits of the character, while indirect presents the character by their actions. Alice Walker s Everyday Use is a short story that reveals its theme through characterization and used by exposing the characters values, heritage, and insecurities. The literary sub¬genre of Everyday Use is realistic fiction. This story focuses its writing and plot around the values of a rural family. Walker story is about two sisters and a mother who live in a rural section of Georgia. The oldest daughter left and pursued a college career and after a while she decides visit her mother. At the end of her visit she intends to leave with some of the family heirlooms two quilts. The mother finds out her daughter only wants the quilts as a pretense of displaying heritage. Alice Walker story exposes the theme of heritage. Throughout the story, Walker uses indirect characterization to describe Dee, and direct characterization to describe Maggie and Mama, in order to reveal the different ways that people embrace their heritage. The indirect characterization of Dee shows how she embraces her heritage superficially. While Dee is shown to be spoiled and selfish, throughout the story her indirect characterization is shown through her own ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It s almost like the moon, with extensive mare like plains and heavy cratering, showing that the planet has been geologically inactive for billions of years. Craters range in diameter from bowl shaped cavities to multi ringed impact basins hundreds of kilometers across. One of the largest crater is the Caloris Basin, with the diameter of 1,550 km. The impact was so powerful that it caused lava eruptions and a concentrated ring over 2 km tall surrounding the basin to form. There are two distinct regions of plains on Mercury. These plains occur between the crater impacts and they bear a strong resemblence to the lunar maria. From the MESSENGER spacecraft, we were able to see that there ... One view is to trace out the path from the source to the sink of one or more units of flow. In the example, path p is such a path. The other view is to measure the total flow in each edge of the graph. This view is shown in the example by our placing the amount of flow along each edge. Since there is actually only one flow, namely the orderly procession of fluid from the source to the sink through the network, these two views must be equivalent. When solving the problem of finding maximum flows through the graph, the second view is preferable for two reasons. If we are searching a very large network by hand, it may well be impossible for us to find a best set ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. Odysseus is Not a Hero for the Modern Age Essay Many would argue that Odysseus is more of a villain nowadays, for every instance of his wiliness or feats of strength there are several of venality, vice, cruelty, or selfishness. The episode of the Sirens, (Book 12), is one example. The only reason Odysseus ties himself up to the mast, when instead he could have simply plugged his ears with wax like the rest of his crew, is that he chooses the jeopardous choice, wanting to go down in the books by being the first man to ever listen to the Sirens song and live. In consequence he possibly endangers the rest of his crew from safely reaching home by endangering himself. Probably by those standards (or the standards of Homer s time, some 400 years later) Odysseus was considerably closer to a hero than he would be in our eyes today. Perhaps, what might now be seen as grotesquely excessive blood letting, would then have been seen as an understandable or even necessary act of retribution Again, Odysseus darker and immoral acts could be viewed could viewed as metaphors for and/or accurate reflections of the imperfection of the human race. If you are not serious about cleaning up your diet, you will not become ripped. That is a fact! And yes, you will positively need to perform a lot of cardio work. There are two reasons for this. First, when you are doing a great deal of cardio work, you will burn more calories which means of course, you will end up with a leaner and more ripped physique. There is another benefit to cardio work that some might not be completely aware of. Namely, when you are doing your cardio sessions, you are engaging all the muscles in your body and helping them to become stronger and more defined. The higher the intensity of your cardio work the greater the potential for this outcome to occur. This three pronged approach has many merits. In fact, you really would have a tough time getting a ripped physique if you did not integrate all three of these components into your workouts. Most blacks have had to adapt to racism and profiling, which is by police due to the white majority in American cities. Racism in public space influences police perceptions of African Americans through community emotions. There were various opinions in Sanford natives after Martin s death about the racism of police and the overall community. The black natives there felt that police only get but one side, (Onwuachi Willig 1166). The racial minority felt total abandonment from the police in important times of stress and grief. In expression of how the other side of the community felt, a white neighbor of Zimmerman said of the unity of Caucasians and of African Americans in Sandford that they don t want to be with us and we don t want to be with them, (Onwuachi Willig 1177). It is not a surprise that community emotions were filled with anger in both blacks and whites and the police proved themselves unable to provide help. Emotions cannot just influence one s opinions of the community, but one s opinions of their job. The racial community divide shown within these quotes extends far beyond Sanford county and the state of Florida. It is paramount across many American communities and cites. Whites fear those of black color and implicit fear is common within this majority. Euthyphro first proposed that piety is that which the gods love. His proposal was quickly objected by Socrates though, since the gods often disputed amongst themselves and therefore what one loves can be what another hates. Euthyphro then revised his hypothesis to say that piety is that which the gods love unanimously and for the moment this was their conclusion. This definition however, that piety is what the gods love unanimously, further proposed the question of whether the gods love the pious because it is pious or whether the pious is pious solely because the gods love it. In saying that things are not good by virtue of any rule of goodness but solely by virtue of the will of God, it seems to me that we unknowingly destroy all of God s love and all his glory. For why praise him for what he has done if he would be equally praiseworthy in doing the exact contrary? (1)Therefore there must be some moral standards independent of God that would be right or wrong regardless of his being. This conclusion creates another problem, it could mean that God has no freewill as he can not then act outside of the presupposed good morals and therefore can not make his own decisions. If there are moral standards independent of God and his will then that would limit God s sovereignty. It binds God to something that makes him not independent. Instead of the good being established by him he is established by what is good and in essence a new god is created. This is used as a common argument for atheism, For if morality can exist without God there is no need to answer for the inherent sense of morale that humanity has in some context no matter what culture they are raised in. There are also those who would believe in the divine command theory, otherwise known as voluntarism. Looking at the graph above, when Teletech Corp. uses the constant hurdle rate, Telecommunications services which earns 9.1% on capital is underneath of the company s hurdle rate. Moreover, the P S which promises to earn 11% on capital is above the company s hurdle rate. However, the result may be reversed by looking at the graph with adjusted risk hurdle rates. It is clear that company is doing better than they should in the telecommunication segment, because they are getting higher return in comparison to the risk they are taking. On the other hand, P S segment is not doing as well as it should, because return is getting lower than the risk taken by the company. That is to say, constant and risk adjusted hurdle rate lead to the different results when Teletech Corp. evaluated its ROR. Implications that company are facing in this strategy are that they are going with the constant hurdle rate for all of its segments, which is not viable. For this reason the company is not adding the extra value of the NPV that these segments are producing and resulting in a lower value for the shareholders. 4. Do you agree that all money is green ? His telharmonium was created with an assembly of rotary generators and telephone receivers to convert electronic signals to into sound (Lejaren Hiller). He developed his invention from 1895 and continued to work on it even though there were no ways for the sounds being created from the electrical signals to be heard. Speakers or amplifiers were non existent for some time even after the development of Cahill s invention, and his instrument was the ancestor of present day electronic music synthesizers (Lejaren Hiller, Electronic Music). Furthermore, Cahill s invention spurred the development of other electric instruments such as the electronic organ. In the 1920s, more electronic instruments were invented, some of which being monophonic meaning that only one note could be played at a time (Lejaren Hiller, Electronic Music). One of the more common monophonic electric instruments was the theremin invented by Russian scientist Leon Theremin (Britannica, Theremin Musical Instrument). When the poor people looked at the way France was being run, they questioned why the upper class was not being taxed as heavily as themselves. In these secret meetings, a group of men entitled the National Constituent Assembly created the Declaration of Men which stated Men are born and remain free and equal in rights (National Constituent Assembly). This was the first document of its kind where all people could be created equal no matter what class. Rich and poor would pay equal taxes and be given the same respect by the government. This document would later become the first step toward writing a new constitution for France. Sixty years after the French Revolution was completed, Charles Dickens wrote A Tale of Two Cities, which reflected the French Revolution with characters from both France and England. Throughout the book, Dickens makes reference to the comparison of wine verses blood and how this symbolized the revolution itself. The sensor must be able to detect a change in air quality such as temperature and humidity. A wireless network connection will be required so that data can be submitted to a webpage which will be constantly updated via a live stream. There must be some form of interaction with the end user, being able to send an alarm warning the user about the room condition or a warning system on the sensor webpage with an alert on the page. The Stigma Of Receiving Therapy For Mental Illness One of the most difficult aspects of treating patients who suffer from trichotillomania (TTM), commonly called hair pulling disorder, is that most prefer to remain invisible. They are creative at finding ways to hide their illness. The key to eliminating this stigma is education and transparency. In order to better understanding of this impulse disorder, it is important to look closely at the causes, symptoms, and behaviors. Once these are understood, working with a psychologist to plan effective treatment becomes as easy as walking into their practice. Here are the basics about trichotillomania, and how a psychologist can help with finding the right treatment. What is Trichotillomania (TTM)? TTM is a psychological disorder identified as an impulse control disorder. Contrary to popular belief, TTM is not a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
