The paper presents an analysis of a self-cancellation scheme aimed at mitigating inter-carrier interference (ICI) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, which is crucial due to the frequency offsets that can degrade system performance. It discusses the OFDM technique's structure, its advantages in enhancing data rates, and the challenges faced such as susceptibility to frequency offsets. The study also compares various modulation techniques to assess their effectiveness in reducing ICI in multipath fading channels.
