This paper presents a comparative analysis of Least Squares (LS) and Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE) channel estimation techniques for MIMO-OFDM systems aimed at improving data rates in wireless communications. The performance of these techniques is evaluated using Bit Error Rate (BER) versus Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) across different channel conditions, demonstrating that MMSE offers enhanced accuracy over LS. The study emphasizes the crucial role of effective channel estimation in mitigating interference and optimizing overall system performance.
