David Allen's "Getting Things Done" system was exactly what my small business needed to get lean, efficient and most importantly reduce stress.
We hope that this presentation empowers you to employ this system for your own team. You won't regret it.

Introduction to Getting Things Done (GTD) & Personal Productivity Ninja - The...Hrishikesh Jobanputra
We are living in an age of distraction. While we are allowing huge amounts of information and communication from the outer world, we are generating equally large volume of ideas and agreements from our inner world.
Amidst hundreds of things to do, we tend to loose perspective and often feel lack of control in our lives. Result, we constantly remain in the state of anxiety and stress.
Neither our standard education, nor traditional time-management models, nor the plethora of organizing tools has given us a viable means of meeting new demands placed on us.
The Personal Productivity Ninja is a course to develop remarkable level of clarity, focus and purpose to achieve Goals. It is possible for you to have an overwhelmingly number of things to do and still function productively with a clear head and a positive sense of relaxed control.
If constant stress has you feeling disillusioned, helpless, and completely exhausted, you may be suffering from burnout. When you’re burned out from stress, problems seem insurmountable, everything looks bleak, and it’s difficult to muster up the energy to care—let alone do something about your situation.
The unhappiness and detachment that burnout causes can threaten your job, your relationships, and your health. But burnout can be overcome. There are plenty of things you can do to regain your balance and start to feel hopeful and positive again.

While traditional scholarship has tended to emphasize thorough reading, reflection, and learning, many researchers nowadays – both in academia and industry – find themselves in a fast-paced and demanding environment. A successful research career crucially depends on management-related skills, and devoting some time to such skills is likely to pay off very quickly. One important example is time and task management, which is critical when there are numerous conflicting demands and opportunities. Another example is being able to cope with challenges and failure. Researchers also need to be creative and bold in defending their ideas. This talk provides an overview of these and other skills that are vital in modern research environments.
I gave a presentation on the "Getting Things Done" system by David Allen, specifically, to highlight software applications I use on Macintosh to implement the GTD system. Tips for educators were included.

My presentation at TCUK14 in Brighton in September 2014 - technicalcommunicationuk.com. It is an update of my similar presentation in June at UA Europe.
An introduction to Getting Things Done system created by David Allen. Turn all your stuff into real, actionable items that you can DO and be done with.
A development process is essentially a framework for how to work together in an engineering team and the way the team works together has great impact on how well it supports the product and the organisation. Ideally, the way that the process is outlined should be aligned with the business strategy. For example, if innovation is important for your business, you need a process that supports innovation. If timely deliveries is more important, you need to adapt your process to that requirement. In this talk Bjorn will explain what the Loop54 development process looks like and give concrete examples of what effects it was designed to create and how that is manifested in the process.
The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to radically reinvent the way we do business. This study explores how CEOs and top decision makers around the world are responding to the transformative potential of AI.

8. Getting things done; GTD! – Summery…
• See; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Getting_Things_Done
• I do not think some words put together or acronyms can be owned by a
company or a person… I acknowledge some authorities,
and examples but I get things done, I just do it!
• I have read some about this topic & tried to summarize in some pages;
• Much about GTD according to me is to have the abilities to;
Focus, Prioritize and Execute the PDCA cycle daily, weekly, monthly…
• The bits and pieces that are constantly not top priorities should be
delegated or binned!
• If the end results for every PDCA cycle is not good enough then there is a
need for re-focus & re-plan with different view set – Maybe your best
Colleague, Boss, Children, Wife or Friend! – Remember to have fun!
