Function
The central function of a group
is to satisfy needs of its members.
Different groups satisfy different
needs (NCERT). Groups are social
units which provide appropriate
space for gratifying desires that
remain unfulfilled elsewhere.
प्रकार्य
ककसी भी समूह का मुख्र् कार्य अपने सदस्र्ों
की जरूरतों को पूरा करना होता है। किकभन्न समूह
किकभन्न जरूरतों को पूरा करते हैं (एनसीईआरटी)।
समूह एक प्रकार की सामाकजक इकाई होती है जो
सदस्र्ों की इच्छाओं की संतुकि के किए ऐसे उपर्ुक्त
प्िेटफामय प्रदान कराते हैं जो कहीं और उपिब्ध नहीं
होते हैं।
Function
The major functions of a group are: -
1. To provide security,
2. Status improvement,
3. Development of Self-esteem,
4. Satisfaction of Psychological and Social needs.
5. Helps in Goal Achievement,
6. Provide Knowledge and Information,
7. Development of positive Social Identity,
8. Socialization,
9. Facilitates Learning, and
10. Whetting members’ qualities.
प्रकार्य
समूह के प्रमुख कार्य: -
1. सुरक्षा प्रदान करना,
2. हैससर्त को सनखारना,
3. आत्मसम्मान का सिकास करना,
4. मनोिैज्ञासनक और सामासिक िरूरतों की पूसतय करना,
5. लक्ष्र् उपलसधि में मदद करना,
6. ज्ञान और सूचना प्रदान करना,
7. सकारात्मक सामाकजक पहचान का किकास करना,
8. समाजीकरण,
9. सीखने को आसान बनाना, और
10. सदस्र्ों के गुणों को कनखारना।
6. Knowledge and Information –
Groups keeps its members updated by
providing continuous latest information
and knowledge that broadens their view
point.
7. Positive Social Identity – Social
identity develops from the feedback of
group and its members. An individual
develops her/his social identity by virtue of
a member of a group; because group
membership develops a sense of social self
that leads to evolution of ‘We’ feeling.
6. ज्ञान और सूचना - समूह कनरंतर निीनतम जानकारी और
ज्ञान प्रदान करके अपने सदस्र्ों को आधुकनकतम बनाए रखता है
जो व्र्कक्त के दृकिकोण को किस्तृत करता है।
7. सकारात्मक सामाकजक पहचान – ‘सामाकजक पहचान’
समूह और उसके सदस्र्ों की प्रकतकिर्ा से किककसत होती है।
व्र्कक्त समूह की सदस्र्ता के आधार पर अपनी सामाकजक
पहचान किककसत करता है; क्र्ोंकक ‘समूह सदस्र्ता’ से व्र्कक्त
में ‘आत्म बोध’ की भािना किककसत होती है जो ‘हम’ की
भािना को जन्म देती है।
8. Socialization – Group members
confirms to the values, norms and
beliefs of the groups and society
that helps in socialization.
9. Facilitates Learning – Through
group activities such as discussion,
ideas sharing, finding solution to a
problem etc. an individual learns a
lot from the group.
8. समाजीकरण – समूह के सदस्र्, समाज और
समूह के मूल्र्ों, मानदंडों और मान्र्ताओं की पुकि
करते हैं जो सामाकजककरण में सहार्ता करते हैं।
9. सीखने को सुगम बनाना – समूह गकतकिकधर्ों जैसे
चचाय, किचार साझा करना, ककसी समस्र्ा का समाधान
ढूंढना आकद के माध्र्म से व्र्कक्त समूह से बहुत कु छ सीख
कर और उसे आत्मसात करता है।
10. Whetting of members’
qualities – Group provides a
suitable platform where
members can improve, enhance
and develop their qualities. For
example improving self-
confidence, oratory etc.
10. सदस्र्ों के गुणों को कनखारना – समूह
सदस्र्ों को एक उपर्ुक्त मंच प्रदान करता है
जहां िे अपने गुणों को किककसत करते हैं, उन्नत
बनाते हैं तथा बेहतर करते हैं। उदाहरण के किए
आत्मकिश्वास, िाक-पटुता आकद में सुधार ।
