2. अर्थ
नेतृत्व - लोगों के समूह या ककसी संगठन का नेतृत्व करना या
ऐसा करने की क्षमता।
Meaning
Leadership – The action of leading a
group of people or an organization, or
the ability to do this.

3. परिभाषा
नेतृत्व – नेतृत्व एक प्रकार की व्यवहाररक क्षमता एवं एक
कौशल होता है किसके द्वारा एक व्यकि कवकशष्ट लक्ष्यों को
प्राप्त करने के कलए दूसरों के व्यवहार को प्रभाकवत करता है।
Definition
Leadership – Leadership is a behavioural
potential and a skill by which an
individual influences the behavior of
others to achieve specific goals.

4. प्रकाि
कर्ट लेकवन एवं सहयोकगयों ने (1939) ‘नेतृत्व कनर्टय
प्रयोगों’ के आधार पर नेतृत्व की तीन अलग-अलग शैकलयों की
पहचान की है। िमटन समािशास्त्री मैक्स वेबर ने नेतृत्व की चौथी
शैली का सुझाव कदया था।
1. कनरंकु श।
2. लोकतांकिक।
3. अहस्तक्षेकप।
4. पररवतटनकारी और कररश्माई।

5. Types
Kurt Lewin et al. (1939) through
leadership decision experiments identified
three different styles of leadership, on the
basis of decision-making. Fourth one was
suggested by German sociologist Max
Weber.
1. Autocratic.
2. Democratic.
3. Laissez Faire.
4. Transformational & Charismatic.

6. 1. ननिंकु श – समूह से संबंकधत कनर्टय सदस्यों,
अनुयाकययों के परामशट ककए कबना ही कलए िाते हैं,
उदाहरर् सैन्य नेतृत्व या तानाशाही। प्राकधकरर् कें द्रीकृ त
होता है और कवरोधी कवचारों को दंकित करने के कलए
अक्सर बल का उपयोग ककया िाता है। लेकवन के प्रयोगों
ने सुझाया है कक कनरंकु श शैली सदस्यों के बीच असंतोष के
उच्चतम स्तर का कारर् बनती है। कनरंकु श नेता आक्रामक
और आत्मकें कद्रत पाए िाते हैं।

7. 1. Autocratic - The decisions pertaining
to group are taken without consulting
members, followers or peoples, example
Military leadership or dictatorship. The
authority is centralized and more often
uses force to punish the opposing views.
Lewin's experiments suggested that
Autocratic Style caused the highest level of
discontent among members. They are
found to be aggressive and self centered.

8. 2. लोकतांनिक या सहभानिता – लोग या सदस्य कनर्टय
लेने की प्रकक्रया में सक्रीय रूप से शाकमल होते हैं और नेता
आम सहमकत बनाने की कोकशश करते हैं। लोग नेतृत्व की
इस शैली को खूब पसंद करते हैं। लोकतांकिक नेता अपने
सदस्यों के समान व्यवहार करता है और उनके साथ समूह
से सम्बंकधत मुद्दों और समस्याओं पर खुलकर चचाट करता
है। ऐसे नेता समूह कें कद्रत और सामाकिक-भावनात्मक
उन्मुख पाए िाते हैं।

9. 2. Democratic or Participative – The
people or members are involved in the
decision-making (DM) and leader
seeks the consensus or rather
facilitates it. People tend to like this
style of DM & leadership style.
Manifests behaviour similar to
members and discuss issues and
problems with them. They are found
to be group centered and socio-
emotional oriented.

10. 3. अहस्तक्षेपि – Laissez Faire एक
फ्रांसीसी शब्द है जिसकर अर्थ होतर है
"चलो करो"। कनर्टय लेने की प्रकक्रया में
नेतर की भूममकर न्यूनतम होती है, इस
शैली में सदस्य स्वयां ननर्थय लेते हैं।
इस शैली के नेतर अत्यधिक पवकें द्रित
प्रकृ नत के होते हैं। सदस्यों िर कम से
कम ननयांत्रर् और उनके सरर्
न्यूनतम सांिकथ रखते हैं।

11. 3. Laissez Faire – French word
means “Let Do”. Leaders role in
DM is minimum, members
themselves take decisions. It is
highly delegative in nature.
Have least control and minimal
contact with the members.

12. 4. परिवतथनकािी औि करिश्माई – इस प्रकार की नेतृत्व
शैली कवशेष गुर्ों, िैसे प्रकतबद्धता, प्रेरर्ा, शारीररक
हाव-भाव आकद पर आधाररत होती है। पररवतटनकारी या
कररश्माई नेता अपने अनुयाकययों की आवश्यकताओं और
महत्वाकांक्षाओं का पूरा ध्यान रखते हैं। वे प्रभावी प्रेरर्ा
और कररश्माई व्यवहार के माध्यम से अपने अनुयाकययों
की कवचारधारा तक में पररवतटन कर देते हैं।

13. 4. Transformational and Charismatic
– The leadership that is based on the
exclusive traits that is commitment,
persuasiveness, body language and
inspirational motivation etc. of a person.
Transformational leaders intelligently
focuses on the followers’ requirements
and ambitions. They transforms the
thought process through effective
inspiration and charismatic behaviour.
