“To become Social”
A process of behaviour
modification that results
from the proximity of social
agents.
समाजीकरण का अर्थ
“सामाजजक बनना”
व्यवहार रूपाांतरण की एक ऐसी
प्रजिया जो सामाजजक प्रदर्शकों की
समीपता/उपजथिजत से होती है।
Definition of Socialization
The process of social learning
through which a child acquires the
norms, attitudes, beliefs, and
behaviors that are acceptable in
her/his culture (NCERT, XI).
समाजीकरण की पररभाषा
सामाजजक अजिगम की वह प्रजिया जजसके
माध्यम से बच्चा ऐसे मानक, व्यवहार, जवश्वास और
दृजिकोण प्राप्त करता है जो उसकी सांथकृ जत में थवीकायश
हो, को समाजीकरण कहा जाता है ।
Nature of Socialization
1. Socialization is dynamic and life
long behaviour modification process.
2. Through socialization individual
learns to play social roles.
3. It is a type of social confirmatory
behaviour.
4. The values, beliefs & social norms
are internalize through it.

5. Socialization is enabled by social
agents.
6. Through this a child learns society
compatible skills and dispositions.
7. The inter-generational cultural
transmission occurs through it.
8. In socialization other person’s
behaviour is controlled.
9. It occurs in both directions i.e.
individual to society and vice versa.

10. Socialization occurs consciously
(Monitored) and Unconsciously (Not
monitored).
11. The process of socialization is more or
less similar across the globe but the norms
and values varies according to culture.
12. Socialization defines the role of an
individual in a society.
समाजीकरण की प्रकृ ति
1. यह गजतर्ील और जीवनभर चलने वाली व्यवहार
रूपाांतरण की एक प्रजिया है।
2. यह सामाजजक भूजमकाओां को सीखने में मदद करती
है।
3. यह एक सामाजजक पुजित्मक व्यवहार है।
4. इसके माध्यम से मूल्य, मान्यताओां और सामाजजक
मानदांडों का आांतररजककरण होता है।

सांभव होता है।
6. इसके माध्यम से बच्चा समाज के अनुकू ल कौर्ल और थवभाव
सीखता है।
7. अांतर पीढी साांथकृ जतक सांचरण इसके माध्यम से सांभव होता है।
8. इसकी मदद से दूसरे के व्यवहार को जनयांजित जकया जाता है।
9. सामाजजजककरण दोनों जदर्ाओां में होता है अिाशत व्यजि से समाज
और समाज से व्यजि का।

10. सामाजजजककरण चेतन रूप से (जनगरानी की जा सकती
हो) और अचेतन रूप से (जनगरानी नहीं की जा सकती) होता है ।
11. सामान्यतः समाजीकरण की प्रजिया दुजनया भर में कु ल
जमलाकर समान होती है लेजकन मानक और मूल्य सांथकृ जत के
अनुसार बदलते हैं।
12. समाजीकरण व्यजि की भूजमका को पररभाजित करता है।
