The Advantages And Disadvantages Of The Economic And...
EU was founded in 1957 with a goal to build a common market. To achieve this goal a close co
operation on economic and fiscal policies between member states is needed. Hence, the Economic and
Monetary Union (EMU) was born in order to achieve the single market goal. The coordination in
Economic and Monetary Union involves the economic and fiscal policies through a common
monetary policy for all member states and a common currency, euro. The European Central Bank
(ECB) was created to take care of the monetary policy of the Eurozone and to be the national central
banks of the euro area countries. Ever since 1999, EU has decided to adopt the use of single currency
in their community. The decision to adopt a single currency shows a concrete proof ... Show more

By single currency and euro area, new opportunities arise in the global economy. The euro system
follows a neutral stance by not fostering or hindering the international use of its currency. Although
euro was used by the international community for several reasons (payments, pegging, etc.), the
internationalization of euro was compelled by the utilization of euro in global financial market. The
international use of euro is as an investment and financing currency. The single currency policy also
gives impact for the international co operation process. It facilitates an exchange of perspectives and

The Invisible Child By Andrea Elliot
In the Invisible Child written by Andrea Elliot, a lifestyle of a homeless girl named Dasani and her
family is shown. Elliot displays Dasani s culture, and some of the struggles that she and her family
face daily because they are homeless. Dasani is very dedicated to her school work. She wants to be
better than anyone in her family ever was so she doesn t have to worry about being homeless for the
rest of her life. In some ways I can relate to Dasani, I am very passionate about my school work as
well. I want to excel so I can be my very best in the future. However, our reasoning s for wanting to be
the best we can be are a little different. She wants to excel so she no longer has to worry about being
homeless whereas I ve never been homeless so I cannot say the exact same. I grew up being a very
privileged kid. Both of my parents worked full time good paying jobs. I ve never had to want for much
of anything. My parents have always spoiled me with nice things, they have always made sure my
siblings and I had nice clothes and a decent meal to eat. They are even paying for me to attain a
college education. Dasani and her family however are a lot different from mine. In the Invisible Child
Elliot tells us how Dasani s parents do not have legit jobs, instead they have side hustles that only
bring in a few dollars. Elliot states (2013) that a lot of mornings Dasani was starving at school because
she had no breakfast. Dasani and her siblings also had to wear clothes that were

Why Is Frankenstein Bad
Good people do bad things. Doing a bad thing does not make someone a monster. For example, if a
young boy was raised in the ghetto where he and his family never had enough to eat he might have to
steal to get for his family. Even though he has done something illegal and immoral that does not make
him a bad person. He was just doing what he had to do to get his family food to eat. Even if he kills
someone in the process of sealing the food it does not make him a monster. This kid just made a bad
choice in an awful situation but he made the choice for the right reason, to feed his family. Victor
Frankenstein s creation, the monster , was not all bad. The made some bad choices because of how he
was created and how he was treated by Victor after he was created.
The monster is not faultless for the awful things that he has done. He kills three of the people that his
creator was very close to including his adopted sister Elizabeth. Losing these people is very hard on
Victor. The loss makes Victor so distraught that, he calls the spirits of the dead (179) to help him make
the monster feel the pain of loss that he feels. In addition to killing those close to Victor, the monster
destroys the house of the De Lacey s with fire and then dances with fury around the devoted cottage
(123). Additionally, the monster appears to like the trouble and anguish that he is able to trigger in
Victor: your sufferings will satisfy my everlasting hatred (181), the monster writes

Political Corruption By Government Officials For...
Throughout history, several sovereign nations across the world have been subject to political
corruption by government officials for illegitimate personal gain. Corruption used to be a low profile
line item. However, today it has reached heights at which the government must get involved to try and
cover it up to ensure its secrecy and avoid exploitation. This instance is referred to as Crony
Capitalism, which is a theory that has evolved from corruption over a period of time. This idea
involves more intervention by the government who achieves its purpose by providing incentives and
subsidies to their known business partners in specific operating fields. They favour this particular set
of business owners who they keep close ties with over ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They drift away from the rule of law which they themselves have established to maintain social
control over their country. The government chooses to monopolize over businesses in pursuit of
getting a larger share of money. However, most of the time these turn into sunken costs, which they
then try to cover by raising tax rates. Countries that were regarded as miracles are nothing more than
havens now, for crony capitalists to get rich the easy way (Kang, 3). An example of this is in Canada,
where a big incentive in the form of tax credit is given to the Film Producing Industry. The
government has been providing tax payers money and direct subsidies in an effort to induce film
production in their province. Currently, film and television tax credits cover up to 35% of labour costs
all over Canada, except for Quebec where it covers up to 45%. This does not include the additional tax
credits that are provided to cover up the total production costs. In Alberta, the film and television
industry demanded $18 million for a project worth $32 million of building a film studio in Calgary.
The government has provided them with $10 million from property tax which means that the
remaining $22 million will be obtained from taxpayers at their cost. The film industry in Alberta
claims that this is beneficial since every buck that taxpayers contribute towards subsidies will result in
a 10 fold return to the economy. This demonstrates how Crony

The Affirmative Action Movement
Affirmative action is necessary to give women and minorities a level playing field.
The affirmative action movement began in 1960 with the intention of promoting opportunities for
minority groups. How is that in the year 2015 we are still having discussions about women and
minorities being discriminated against? While the movement of the 1960 s has brought attention to
discrepancy against groups, which has paved the platform for reform and opportunity, there is a break
down in the movement if 55 years later there is still discrepancy thereby suggesting a resign of the
efforts of the movement may be needed. Do I agree with affirmative action? I am a female. I m a

You have asked the following questions: We are working on a project that is a classroom/training
center. There are two large exterior canopies that we excluded fire sprinklers under per our General
Note #9 referencing Section 8.15.7.2. We have completed our rough installation per the approved
plans and the local fire inspector has informed us that he wants a letter from the property owner
stating they will NOT store any combustible material under the canopies. I have confirmed with the

Section 8.15.7.2 explicitly allows for the omission of sprinklers below canopies if they are constructed
of limited or non combustible materials. Section 8.15.7.5 will require sprinklers under canopies that
have combustible materials being stored under them. Patio type of furniture will not necessitate the
installation of sprinklers. This is addressed in the 2010 Edition of NFPA s Automatic Sprinkler
Systems Handbook under Section 8.15.7.5. It states, The committee has stated that combustibles, such
as patio furniture, which may be wood or plastic and including cushions, are not sufficient to justify
sprinkler protection. So if no heat sources such as barbeque grills or heaters are allowed under the
patio cover, sprinklers should not be required. When heat sources are present, then sprinklers are
required. The commentary states, However, judgment is needed, and sprinklers may be justified where
the balcony contains combustible loading, such as patio furniture, AND where barbeque grills are
allowed or other ignition sources are present, such as a furnace located off of, and accessed from, the
balcony. Thus if heaters are present with the patio furniture, sprinklers will be required. Such an
arrangement is not considered a significant risk for two reasons. One is the fact that individual or
isolated sets of tables and chairs are difficult to ignite, thus the restriction of heat sources. The second
is that such rooms that are completely open to the exterior are extremely unlikely to reach

them, the countries that don t, often cause problems for people who want a dual citizenships for work,
family, etc. Although the United States allows dual citizenships, when the other country does not, the
person is forced to pick a country. A premise brought up is how in the past, people would be born in

The Milgram Experiment Violates Three Of The Five...
The Milgram Experiment violates three of the five principles outlined in the Five General Principles
of Ethics. Milgram wanted to see if there was a connection between the conflict between obedience to
authority and personal conscience (McLeod, 2007). Milgram s hypothesis that he based his
experiment on was How the German people could permit the extermination of the Jews? (Dan
Chalenor, 2012). The first one that Milgram s experiment violated was Principle A: Beneficence and
Nonmaleficence which is where psychologists strive to benefit those with whom they work and take
care to do no harm (Ethical principles, 2013, p. 3, para. 3). The second principle that was violated was
Principle B: Fidelity and Responsibility which is where ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Lastly, this experiment violated Principle E because it caused people to question if they were a good
person or not considering they were causing harm to another person that could have been avoided. The
moderators of the experiment were not respecting the subjects due to the fact that are causing
unnecessary stress. Personally, researching this experiment made me extremely uncomfortable just
because I do not believe in causing unnecessary harm to someone who does not deserve it. In this
case, harm is the unnecessary stress since the accomplice of the experiment was not actually shocked,
he just acted like it. I think that the moderators of the experiment, especially Milgram, should have
been upfront in the ad placed in the newspaper over what was going to actually be happening to the
people who volunteered. The way the readings and the video made it sound was that it was just a
surprise over what actually happened to the subjects. It is shocking to me that he thought that this was
something that was morally and ethically right. This Stanford Experiment violated a few of the Five
General Principles of Ethics. The young men were offered $15 a day to participate in a study that
lasted for one to two weeks that wanted to see what they psychological effects were of becoming a
prisoner or prison guard (Zimbardo, 1999). One being Principle A: Beneficence and Nonmaleficence

The Bell Jar Plath
The Bell Jar is an autobiographical, feminist novel by Sylvia Plath. The main character, Esther
Greenwood represents Sylvia Plath in several life events throughout the novel. I think one of the best
themes of this novel is that it challenges and mocks the idea of misogyny. Some examples of how
society restricted women in the 1950s deal with sex, work, and home lives and some of these
examples still exist. This novel sticks up for women and shows the true potential that they behold. In
my opinion, it helps the readers open their eyes to see how many double standards existed in our
society and it shows readers that some of the standards are still remaining.

Willard s thoughts about women supporting men. She believes that women are born to serve men in
order to make them happy. Mrs. Willard doesn t even understand the misogyny in her life. Mrs.
Willard, Marco, Irwin, and Doreen are the main victims of misogyny in this novel. Although many of
the characters in this novel fall victims to the hypocrisy in the society during the time of the novel,
there are a few characters that are completely unconventional. The first woman that inspires Esther
with her realization of hypocrisy and misogyny is Jaycee. She is Esther s boss and she influences
Esther to be as motivated and ambitious as she is toward the beginning of the novel. Jaycee is a
motivated, working woman that doesn t live her life to support men. The second character that does
not fall victim to the sexist society is obviously, Esther. Esther realizes that she is an intelligent young
woman and she has more potential than to just sit at home and support a man for the rest of her life.

drugs that the doctors use are making the woman giving birth forget the pain she is dealing

Examples Of Characterization In Night By Elie Wiesel
In many pieces of literature authors use character change to show the progression of characterization
throughout the novel. In Night, by Elie wiesel, character change happens because of the setting Eli is
in. Eli the protagonist s feelings changes as a result of his setting. Eli is left with his father after being
taken away from his home and sent to the concentration camps. Eli was innocent, kind, waiflike, and a
religious person. While at the camps Eli has to decide whether or not he can stay true to himself or

Analysis Of Tom Wacaster s Book Galatians
In his book, Studies in Galatians, Tom Wacaster addresses a very vital need: to provide common level,
sound commentaries of the Bible. Books such as this are very beneficial, as they assist an average
member of the church to expand their understanding of God s word. This, as Wacaster stated himself,
was his goal in writing this very commentary. If [Studies in Galatians] serves to give just one precious
soul a better understanding of this wonderful letter...then it will have been worth the time spent in
preparing and publishing (3, 4). Wacaster has surely accomplished this worthy objective and more
with this valuable book. Wacaster s book, which is (as the title suggests) centered on Paul s epistle to
the Galatians, is very obviously intended to the common level, average audience. Wacaster does not
delve into complex conversations of textual variants, manuscript discrepancies, and disputations of
authorship, nor does he use vocabulary or phraseology that is above the understanding of most
individuals. Rather, Wacaster is simple, straightforward, and effective in communicating his points on
the wonderful book of Galatians. With many commentaries that are written at a graduate and scholarly
level, a more basic approach is much appreciated and needed. Wacaster took a very direct approach in
organizing Studies in Galatians. It is setup as a verse by verse commentary, with each verse being
given in the American Standard Version and then followed by the author s discussion of

Forced Marriage Act 1961 (Cth)
According to section 5 of the Marriage Act 1961 (Cth) marriage can be defined as ...the union of a
man and a woman to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life. (AustiLII, n.d.).
However, there are also forms of illegal marriage such as forced marriage. Filed under section 270.7A
of the Criminal Code Act 1995 (Cth), forced marriage can be defined as an illegal marriage whereby
the victim entered into the marriage without freely and fully consenting usually due to the use of
coercion, threat or deception or because the victim was mentally incapable of understanding the nature
and effect of the marriage ceremony (Office of Parliamentary Counsel, 2015).

This means that more can be done to assist in decreasing the amount of forced marriages in Australia.
One way is to educate students, teachers and religious figures who are able to conduct marriages about
forced marriage and its impacts. By educating people, there is a lesser risk of victims of forced
marriage suffering silently and there is also a higher chance of detecting forced marriage victims
amongst both school and religious communities. Religious figures, such as priests and imams, will
also be able to understand the consequences of conducting a forced marriage and will also aid in
preventing it.
Another recommendation which will benefit stakeholders is to alter the Marriage Act 1961 (Cth) to
ensure that minors should be able to consent to a marriage along with their parents and in the presence
of an authority figure such as a lawyer or a police officer. If this change is implemented then there is a
lesser risk of a minor being forcefully married as there is an authority figure present and they would
feel less pressured to succumb to the

Ancient forests are the homes for millions of plants, insects, mammals and many other species. When
their homes are no longer there, they will be forced into extinction without their natural environment.
Also, when ancient forests are destroyed the world s climate is directly impacted. When they are
destroyed they release enormous amounts of carbon into the atmosphere. The 1997 fires in Indonesia s
rainforest added as much carbon to the atmosphere as all the coal, oil, and gasoline burned that year in
Western Europe.2 The logging industry is the principle contributing factor to these fires.3 This is a
huge problem that is going to have an effect on the human population in the upcoming years.
Ecotimber is the answer that Greenpeace has for the problems of the destruction of ancient rainforests.

The Fool Archetype
The Fool is the fifth card, based off of The Fool card in the major arcana of many other tarot decks.
Here, The Fool represents the conflict asexuals face when coming out, that they do not understand
their bodies, that they are confused, that they are foolish. Other LGBTQ people face these challeges as
well, but much people know much more about being lesbian, gay, or bisexual than they do about being
ace. Of course that is not to say other LGBTQ folks do not face these stigmas as much, the oppression
just operates slightly differently. The archetype of The Fool card from the AALR Tarot deck reads,

Asexual people do not exist to many in the world, and along with bisexuals, pansexuals, polysexuals,
nonbinary, intersex, and many other people, often receive no recognition or acknowledgement.
Asexuals have adopted dragons as a sort of mascot, as the representation of not being real, not existing
to people in the real world. It is not only lack of representation, but denial of struggles, denial of
personhood, and strict adherence to binary categories. People who do not exist within well known
labels, such as gay or straight, are persecuted, mistrusted, invalidated, and oppressed, sometimes by
members of other oppressed groups. When it comes to race, people of color are already
underrepresented in the media, and because asexuality is hardly present at all, asexual people of color
are especially rare to find. When asexual people are represented in the media, they usually are not
explicitly called asexual, or their lack of sexual attraction to others is driven by emotionlessness,
detachment, or apathy. The association with asexuality and mental health disorders such as sociopathy
fails to understand the key component of asexuality, which is asexuals do not feel sexual attraction,
and just that. Asexuals can be completely able to feel romantic attraction, although some do not. No
part of the definition of asexuality says asexuals must be completely cold and heartless. People are
able to be kind and compassionate without forming sexual or romantic bonds with other people. The

The Meaning of Respect Essay
Most people go through life and always hear about the word respect, but they don t know what it

Analysis Of The Video Game Console Market Essay
Five Forces Analysis
Threat of New Entry When it comes to entering the video game console market there are a lot of costs
that are incurred. This limits the amount of competition that is coming in from an outside source.
Microsoft spent over 100 million dollars on research and development alone for the Xbox one
controller (Ron, 2013). This is a huge cost that new companies usually cannot absorb when first
starting out. There is also a huge cost difference from new producers and long standing producers due
to experience and the economies of scale that the top companies have. The last factor that really deters
companies from entering the console game is the fierce brand loyalty that inhabits the video game
market. Most consumers once they pick a side stick to it, this can span as far back as childhood. On
release the PlayStation 4 had better specs then the Xbox One, and yet 42% of previous Xbox owners
choose the Xbox One over the PlayStation 4 (Sakraida, 2014).
Competition
In the gaming industry competition comes from every direction. The most commonly thought of
outside sources of competition are the PC industry and mobile gaming industry. The television movie
and television industry are also competing to fill the entertainment void in people s lives. That being
said the competition we will be looking at is between the top two producers of gaming consoles, Sony
and Microsoft. Sony and Microsoft with their PlayStation and Xbox consoles respectively have very

The Approach to Nature of Descartes and White Essay
The Approach to Nature of Descartes and White The approach to nature which René Descartes takes is
distinct from that of Gilbert White. Descartes and White have similar key methods of examining
nature. It is mainly in Descartes deductive reasoning and beliefs that lead him to the method of
approaching nature internally (mind and body). Conversely, White s keen observances, inductive
reasoning, and appreciation for his surroundings lead him to the method of investigating the external
nature (Selborne). Although ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In this hierarchy, God stands as some more perfect being on which [humans] [depend] (Descartes, 26).
Humans are placed in the centre, because God grants us the ability to reason the ability to distinguish
what is true from what is false (Descartes, 22). Below us rest animals, having no reason. Truth in
nature therefore, must not come from animals since they are lesser beings, but rather, it must be found
within humans.
White finds appreciation for the external nature which Descartes considers to be less certain
(Descartes, 28). While Descartes takes a rational approach, White takes a scientific, yet literary means
toward nature. He observes nature ardently, noting animals modes of life housing, reproduction,
communications, transportation, and physical appearance. His ability to personify these animals
creates a meeting place for wild life and human feeling (White, xvii). In his recordings for example,
White observes the swallow s mode of life. It builds its nest, often within barns and out houses against
the rafters (White, 156). The swallow lays from four to six white eggs, dotted with red specks; and
brings about her first brood about the last week in June, or the first week of July (White, 157). The
swallow is a delicate songster, and in soft sunny weather sings

Beauty And The Beast Comparison Essay
A Timeless Tale The story of the Beauty and the Beast is well known amongst all ages. Though the
story they portray in the Disney version is much different than what they have portrayed it in France.
La Belle et la Bête has been produced twice, once in 1946 and again in 2014. These two movies tell
the same story but in very different ways. The perception of this story has changed between the
different time periods. The 1946 version has two sisters and one brother. The father is a merchant and
they have money. There is no mention of a motherly figure. The father is very keen to his Belle
staying with him, and he does not want her to leave. The 2014 version has two sisters and three

been gambling and lost money without being able to pay back and signed a contract that allowed them
to sue and take their possessions if they felt like it. On the father s way back from the port he got lost
and wandered upon the Beast s castle. In the 2014 version, the father s ships had been lost at sea, but
the Mermaid had returned with its goods. By the time the father came to retrieve though, it had been
picked through as he had already signed away the ships. Their possessions and house were taken
because they now did not have any money. On the father s way back from the port his horse stumbled
and slid, hurting its leg. The father then treads on, falls off a cliff, and then finds the Beast s castle.
When the father enters the castle in the 1946 version, there are live like arms that are holding
candelabras and extending them when passed by. The candles light and extinguish themselves and
there are hands that pour drinks and prepare food. The statues eyes follow you and smoke comes out

Dark They Were And Golden Eyed Essay
Why do the words that authors use in their writing help set the overall atmosphere of the story? In the
story, What Do Fish Have to Do With Anything, a young boy named Willie and his cautious mother,
who were abandoned by their father, come across a beggar, and Willie grows curious of his character,
thus leading him to question him. After a series of encounters, Willie learns that the homeless man was
not what he seemed, but a man of wisdom. In the story, Dark They Were, And Golden Eyed by Ray

on the Earth. One of the humans, Harry Bittering, is skeptical about Mars and how living there may
not be the best idea. In both Dark They Were, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
For example, after a family has arrived on an unfamiliar environment through a rocket, n the text, it
states, The wind blew, whining. At any moment the Martian air might draw his soul from him, as
marrow comes from a white bone. This means that a party of humans had reached some environment
that was unfamiliar because in the text we learn that the humans had emerged from a rocket that came
from Earth and that they were currently in a Martian setting. Further into the text, when the family is
told that they cannot return to their home, it states, For a long time there was only the sound of the
wind in the late afternoon. Alone, thought Bittering. Only a thousand of us here. No way back. No
way. No way. This text means that the humans who had approached Mars as their new home would be
forever lost there, and this is because in the text we learn that atom bombs hit New York, causing all
the space rockets to explode. This text also means that the silence that was roaming the family was
due to the fact that they were speechless because in the text we learn how that their old and favored
home was gone. This is important because it shows how the author chose to mention that the wind was
whining, how the martian air was threatening, and only the sound of the wind because he wanted to
lay out the mood of foreboding for the readers. Many of the decisions that the author made involving
the mood were to include several minor details that add to the reader s feelings and signal some

The Contributions of Doctor Gordon Buck
What determines if a person has left their footprint in the sand? What does a person have to do in
order for their name to be remembered? A person has made their mark in history when their action
affects how people live and think in the years to come. History is made when an individual has greatly
influenced the way people live on a day to day basis. A person has made history when it is apparent
that they have greatly shaped the way people think and the thoughts that they have about the world
around them. With this being said, a man named Gurdon Buck has shaped the way the medical field is
being viewed today. Gurdon Buck, also known as the father of modern plastic surgery , is recognized
for being the first doctor to include pre and post operative photographs into his publications. Doctor
Buck is acknowledged for being the first person to photograph the development of his operations and
the first to make steady changes over several operations. Gurdon Buck is also given credit to for the
use of tiny sutures he used during his operations that would minimize scarring. Doctor Buck has made
it possible for several surgeries to take place today because of the knowledge he has passed on. Some
of these surgeries include cleft palate and lip repair. With Gurdon performing so many challenging
surgeries, he coined a term called Buck s Extension which refers to a way of treating a fractured bone.

The Function Of Humanity And Morality
By associating with one universal religion Humanity seven billion people can breed Love among
them. Whereas, different religions breed hate, animosity, hostility, riots, and even war among each
others. When humanity unites people of all religions in one platform then different religions divide
people between religions. Humanity, with the quality of being humble, brings inner peace. The less
compelled you are to try to prove yourself to others the easier it is to feel inner peace. Morality comes
from humanism as it fights for human rights, dignity, progress, and rationalism but religions of varied
ideologies steel morality for their purposes. We don t need a religion to have morals; if we can t
determine right from wrong, then we look empathy, not religion. Humanism is important because of

Importance Of Higher Education
Education is a key to a better and successful life. According to the article, Why is higher education is
important by Dr. Heather Allen, defines that higher education is education provided by universities,
college, and other institutions that award academic degrees. Higher education includes both the
undergraduate (i.e., college) and the graduate (or postgraduate) levels. Higher education includes most
professional education and is strongly vocationally or professionally oriented. Hence, higher education
makes individuals much more intelligent than what they would be with just a high school education.
The more intelligent an individual is, the better quality of life they are likely to have. Higher education
systems can very valuable because they provide individuals with life skills that are essential to being
successful in life. While studying at a higher education system, one is forced to develop to essential
time management skills much more so than at the high school level. With the time needed for
studying, attending classes, completing homework, so one needs to manage their time in order to
avoid falling out. These time management skills help individuals later on in life. Another important
life skill that individuals who attend higher education systems gain is money management skills. Some
higher education system students work part time jobs, but the majority is unable to find the time to do
so on top of their schoolwork, so the only money they have for spending is

Transformational Learning Within The Student Athlete
Recent studies have demonstrated the powerful impact of transformational learning on feelings of
cynicism among college students (Duarte, 2010). Transformational learning within the student athlete
population has not been empirically studied, although the potential benefits are enormous as student
athletes have been found to experience feelings of cynicism throughout their collegiate careers,
despite initial feelings of optimism (Adler Adler, 1985). The commercialized nature of intercollegiate
athletics today presents a unique environment in which to implement effective student athlete focused
career development interventions. Student athletes face developmental difficulties unique to the
student athlete experience within a socially, athletically, and academically micromanaged context
(Duarte, 2010). Transformational learning can exist as a byproduct of emancipatory learning, which
can help student athletes navigate the demands of conflicting roles, reflect critically, and negotiate
profound transitions. Transformational learning has the potential to enhance student athlete specific
career development initiatives. The barriers of transformational learning among the student athlete
population will be examined within a social, developmental, and psychological context. The Five Step
Career Planning Strategy considers all aspects of an athlete s life, which may help student athletes
balance their conflicting roles, while encouraging perspective transformation (Stambulova,

the mode of payment is credit card and not cash. Because of this mode of payment, the drivers need
not worry about giving change, nor do the passengers need to consider if the amount of money they

Persuasive Essay On Hunger
Elizabeth Olsen says I get way too much happiness from good food. This is not something just anyone
can feel. Going home to a meal on the table is a privilege in this economy. In just WNC, Western
North Carolina, there are kids and entire families that are not getting ends meat. This is a big problem
that we as a community need to fix, The number of undernourished human beings on the planet
increased from 777 million in 2015 to 815 million in 2016 (New York Times). Nevertheless, there are
already movements being created. One of these movements is MANNA FoodBank, whose mission is
to help and provide a meal. And others like Roadrunner, who gives backpacks of food to about 1,500
kids are also trying to stop hunger (Hunger 35).
Hunger in the U.S. has been a problem for centuries. In the early 1980s, adverse economic conditions
and efforts to limit federal spending led to a general belief that hunger was widespread in the United
States and may have been increasing. Every year food is rising in price, and every year more and more
people can t afford to have a meal on the table when they get home. According to Time Magazine [the

could marry. All of these sacrifices that Lela Zoraida made for the Captive and her love for him point
to patriarchal gender roles in that a women is expected to devote herself to a man and pleasing him.
Lela Zoraida, fueled by her passionate love for the Captive, is using her devotion to court him into
loving her when she professed her love to him in a prison care package letter coupled with money to
escape and telling him that she converted to

Understanding the Compostion of Planet Earth
For millions of years, the Earth beneath our feet befuddled scientists. They understood that there was a
fiery chasm constantly spewing molten lava. But what was underneath all of that magma, was there
anything else? It would take thousands of years before a scientist could create a viable hypothesis for
the core of the Earth. According to Edmund Mathez of the American Museum of Natural history, Inge
Lehman, a Danish seismologist, published a paper in 1936 that suggested there was a solid inner core
to the Earth, as well as a liquid outer core (Mathez, 2001). With the technology that we have now that
Lehman did not have, we have furthered the understanding of our planet s core, which has led to a
greater understanding of the entire workings of our planet. BBC s The Core is a documentary that
helps deliver that understanding of the core to the public so that they may understand what is
happening with the world below its people. The documentary begins with more mysterious
information, discussing problems that NASA had with the Hubble telescope on an almost daily basis.
In February of 1997, once a day, the Hubble telescope would flicker on and off. There was fear that a
total loss of the expensive telescope was eminent. The next step for the scientists was to plot exactly
where the malfunctions were occurring. It was discovered, as the telescope drifted over southern
South America and the South Atlantic Ocean, that the telescope would flicker and encounter the most
problems.

The Importance Of Police Brutalitying In The National Anthem
I. Introduction Did you know, in America today, there are 14,000 recorded incidents involving police
brutality to this day. That s a large number. Day after day, police brutality incidents are increasing, but
is constantly left unnoticed. Although police brutality protest makes major headlines from time to
time, let s be honest, no one watches the news. So how exactly are Americans supposed to get the
message across? How are they supposed to educate the people? How are they supposed to make it
known? Well, the sports leagues have set the bait, and everyone else is eating it. To kneel during the
playing of the National Anthem is an effective and intuitive way of informing the public of societal
problems that exist in everyday society.
II. Body Paragraph #1 What does it mean to be oppressed? To be exact it s a prolonged cruel or unjust
treatment. To make the main topic at issue come to light, a football player by the name of Colin
Kaepernick, decided to kneel during the playing of the National Anthem. Kaepernick made national,
in fact, International headlines for this unusual act. And that s exactly what he wanted. The act of
kneeling during the anthem is an immaculate sign of protest because it sparks and generates
conversation about topics that need to be conversed about. According to a poll done by the CNN, 49%
of Americans believe kneeling is a bad way to protest, while 42% think it isn t. This conversation and
inequality are exactly what was wanted from these

A Reflection On The Racquetball Curriculum
The racquetball curriculum has a lot to offer outside the realm of physical activity. Racquetball proves
to be great exercise, but can also be a great learning experience. My time throughout the class has
been a wonderful learning experience. After completing the racquetball course I will have learned
plenty in which I can apply to my future life. Before my enrollment in racquetball I had little to no
knowledge of the sport. If someone had asked me to describe the sport as a whole I would not have
been able to adequately do so. Having no knowledge of the rules, terminology, or tactics behind the
game, one could conclude that I knew next to nothing about racquetball. During the length of the
course I spent much of my time on the court learning, improving, and developing an understanding of
the activity. I have developed an appreciation for the game and those who play it. Racquetball itself
proves to be much more complex than what I had originally though. Cleary simply hitting the ball
does not prove to be an proficient play style as I had once assumed. This will no doubt defer me from
making assumptions about other sports in the future. This was a worthwhile learning experience as a
whole, and developing an appreciation for the game is not the only thing I will take away from this
class. Alongside debunking any misconceptions I once had, racquetball also reinforced the importance
of diet in the everyday lifestyle. Aside from the countless things learned on the court, I

Analysis Of The Cashier s Counter At New Moon Grocery
On September 23, 2015, Gary Stasiuk, approached the cashier s counter at New Moon Grocery, which
is located on 295 Grammatan Avenue in Mount Vernon. Stasiuk claims that he gave the cashier a
twenty dollar bill to pay for the only item he was purchasing, a Swanson microwavable chicken
dinner. The cashier, David Eu, asserted that Stasiuk gave him a ten dollar bill, and Eu gave Stasiuk
change appropriate for a ten dollar bill payment. Stasiuk said Where s the rest? I gave you a twenty
dollar bill! Eu responded, No, sir. You gave me a ten dollar bill. Stasiuk became enraged and yelled, I
gave you twenty bucks! Give me the correct change! When Eu insisted that Stasiuk had given him a
ten dollar bill, Stasiuk yelled, Don t f with me, man! I ve had it with people trying to screw me!
Stasiuk then swung his right arm and punched Eu on the left side of Eu s face with a closed fist.
Stasiuk then immediately left the grocery store. Eu s daughter witnessed the event and followed
Stasiuk out of the grocery store where she called to a nearby police officer, Officer William Podzus.
Officer Podzus detained Stasiuk while he spoke with Eu, and after learning of the events of the
incident, arrested Stasiuk for Assault in the Third Degree, pursuant to N.Y. Penal Law Section
120.00(1). In his report, Officer Podzus stated that at the time of the incident, the left side of Mr. Eu s
face showed bruising and swelling and that his daughter had brought him a bag of frozen peas to apply

Honesty Services Fraud Case Study
The case of former Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell and his wife, Maureen McDonnell was an
important game changer in politics. They were indicted by the Federal Government on bribery
charges. These charges were due to the acceptance of more than $170,000 in loans, gifts, and other
benefits by a Virginia businessman, Jonnie Williams, while the Governor was in office. Jonnie
Williams was the chief executive officer of Star Scientific, which is a Virginia based company that
developed a nutritional supplement made from anatabine, a compound found in tobacco. This
nutritional supplement called Anatabloc. William claimed that Anatabloc had healing powers and
wanted to continue the research on anatabine. Therefore, William wanted the Governor s ... Show

The charges against the Governor were conspiracy to commit honest services fraud (18 U. S.
C.§1343) and conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act extortion (§1951(a)). As to Governor spouse, Maureen
McDonnell, she was indicted on obstructing official proceedings (§1512(c)(2)) and similar charges as
the Governor. The bribery statute states that a crime is committed when a public official or person
selected to be a public official, directly or indirectly, or corruptly demand, receive, accept to receive or
accept anything of value in return for being influenced in the performance of any official act. §201(b)
(2). Therefore, the Government was required to prove that Governor McDonnell agreed to commit an
official act in exchange for the gifts and loans from Williams. The Government alleged that the
Governor had committed more than five official acts by arranging meetings, hosting events,
promoting Star Scientific s products and contacting other government officials to encourage the
research of anatabine in state universities. The Governor claimed that doing this kind of meetings or
introductions was common and that he did it literally thousands of times as Governor. The District
Court told the jury that in order to convict Governor McDonnell, it must find that he agreed to accept
a thing of value in exchange for official action . The Governor requested the court to instruct the jury
to further explain the meaning of official act but the District Court declined the proposed instruction to
the jury. The jury convicted the Governor on the honest services fraud and Hobbs Act extortion
charges but cleared him on the false statement charges. After the verdict, the Governor filed a motion
to vacate the convictions claiming the jury instructions were legally erroneous, but the District Court
denied the motion. Governor McDonnell appealed his convictions to

Calpurnia In To Kill A Mockingbird
Calpurnia was at the household of the Finch s all day until Atticus took her home at night. She was a
great influence to Jem and Scout, she basically took the role of Mrs. Finch as their mother. Aunt
Alexandra, a sister to Atticus Finch, was also slightly a mother figure to the children. In the novel To
Kill a Mockingbird written by Harper Lee, Mrs. Finch died when the children were young, but if she
was there, things would have been different and Calpurnia and Aunt Alexandra wouldn t have had
such an influence to the children. Previously stated before is why Calpurnia took the mother role of
the house. Mrs. Finch dies when Jem was six and Scout was two. Jem loved his mother and misses her
but Scout was too young to understand what happened

To achieve this goal a close co operation on economic and fiscal policies between member states is needed. Hence, the Economic and Monetary Union (EMU) was born in order to achieve the single market goal. The coordination in Economic and Monetary Union involves the economic and fiscal policies through a common monetary policy for all member states and a common currency, euro. The European Central Bank (ECB) was created to take care of the monetary policy of the Eurozone and to be the national central banks of the euro area countries. • 4. The Invisible Child By Andrea Elliot In the Invisible Child written by Andrea Elliot, a lifestyle of a homeless girl named Dasani and her family is shown. Elliot displays Dasani s culture, and some of the struggles that she and her family face daily because they are homeless. Dasani is very dedicated to her school work. She wants to be better than anyone in her family ever was so she doesn t have to worry about being homeless for the rest of her life. In some ways I can relate to Dasani, I am very passionate about my school work as well. I want to excel so I can be my very best in the future. However, our reasoning s for wanting to be the best we can be are a little different. She wants to excel so she no longer has to worry about being homeless whereas I ve never been homeless so I cannot say the exact same. I grew up being a very privileged kid. Both of my parents worked full time good paying jobs. I ve never had to want for much of anything. My parents have always spoiled me with nice things, they have always made sure my siblings and I had nice clothes and a decent meal to eat. They are even paying for me to attain a college education. Dasani and her family however are a lot different from mine. In the Invisible Child Elliot tells us how Dasani s parents do not have legit jobs, instead they have side hustles that only bring in a few dollars. Elliot states (2013) that a lot of mornings Dasani was starving at school because she had no breakfast. Dasani and her siblings also had to wear clothes that were ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. Why Is Frankenstein Bad Good people do bad things. Doing a bad thing does not make someone a monster. For example, if a young boy was raised in the ghetto where he and his family never had enough to eat he might have to steal to get for his family. Even though he has done something illegal and immoral that does not make him a bad person. He was just doing what he had to do to get his family food to eat. Even if he kills someone in the process of sealing the food it does not make him a monster. This kid just made a bad choice in an awful situation but he made the choice for the right reason, to feed his family. Victor Frankenstein s creation, the monster , was not all bad. The made some bad choices because of how he was created and how he was treated by Victor after he was created. The monster is not faultless for the awful things that he has done. He kills three of the people that his creator was very close to including his adopted sister Elizabeth. Losing these people is very hard on Victor. The loss makes Victor so distraught that, he calls the spirits of the dead (179) to help him make the monster feel the pain of loss that he feels. In addition to killing those close to Victor, the monster destroys the house of the De Lacey s with fire and then dances with fury around the devoted cottage (123). Additionally, the monster appears to like the trouble and anguish that he is able to trigger in Victor: your sufferings will satisfy my everlasting hatred (181), the monster writes ... • 6. Political Corruption By Government Officials For... Throughout history, several sovereign nations across the world have been subject to political corruption by government officials for illegitimate personal gain. Corruption used to be a low profile line item. However, today it has reached heights at which the government must get involved to try and cover it up to ensure its secrecy and avoid exploitation. This instance is referred to as Crony Capitalism, which is a theory that has evolved from corruption over a period of time. This idea involves more intervention by the government who achieves its purpose by providing incentives and subsidies to their known business partners in specific operating fields. They favour this particular set of business owners who they keep close ties with over ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They drift away from the rule of law which they themselves have established to maintain social control over their country. The government chooses to monopolize over businesses in pursuit of getting a larger share of money. However, most of the time these turn into sunken costs, which they then try to cover by raising tax rates. Countries that were regarded as miracles are nothing more than havens now, for crony capitalists to get rich the easy way (Kang, 3). An example of this is in Canada, where a big incentive in the form of tax credit is given to the Film Producing Industry. The government has been providing tax payers money and direct subsidies in an effort to induce film production in their province. Currently, film and television tax credits cover up to 35% of labour costs all over Canada, except for Quebec where it covers up to 45%. This does not include the additional tax credits that are provided to cover up the total production costs. In Alberta, the film and television industry demanded $18 million for a project worth $32 million of building a film studio in Calgary. The government has provided them with $10 million from property tax which means that the remaining $22 million will be obtained from taxpayers at their cost. The film industry in Alberta claims that this is beneficial since every buck that taxpayers contribute towards subsidies will result in a 10 fold return to the economy. This demonstrates how Crony ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Section 8.15.7.2 explicitly allows for the omission of sprinklers below canopies if they are constructed of limited or non combustible materials. Section 8.15.7.5 will require sprinklers under canopies that have combustible materials being stored under them. Patio type of furniture will not necessitate the installation of sprinklers. This is addressed in the 2010 Edition of NFPA s Automatic Sprinkler Systems Handbook under Section 8.15.7.5. It states, The committee has stated that combustibles, such as patio furniture, which may be wood or plastic and including cushions, are not sufficient to justify sprinkler protection. So if no heat sources such as barbeque grills or heaters are allowed under the patio cover, sprinklers should not be required. When heat sources are present, then sprinklers are required. The commentary states, However, judgment is needed, and sprinklers may be justified where the balcony contains combustible loading, such as patio furniture, AND where barbeque grills are allowed or other ignition sources are present, such as a furnace located off of, and accessed from, the balcony. Thus if heaters are present with the patio furniture, sprinklers will be required. Such an arrangement is not considered a significant risk for two reasons. One is the fact that individual or isolated sets of tables and chairs are difficult to ignite, thus the restriction of heat sources. The second is that such rooms that are completely open to the exterior are extremely unlikely to reach ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Milgram s hypothesis that he based his experiment on was How the German people could permit the extermination of the Jews? (Dan Chalenor, 2012). The first one that Milgram s experiment violated was Principle A: Beneficence and Nonmaleficence which is where psychologists strive to benefit those with whom they work and take care to do no harm (Ethical principles, 2013, p. 3, para. 3). Personally, researching this experiment made me extremely uncomfortable just because I do not believe in causing unnecessary harm to someone who does not deserve it. In this case, harm is the unnecessary stress since the accomplice of the experiment was not actually shocked, he just acted like it. I think that the moderators of the experiment, especially Milgram, should have been upfront in the ad placed in the newspaper over what was going to actually be happening to the people who volunteered. The way the readings and the video made it sound was that it was just a surprise over what actually happened to the subjects. It is shocking to me that he thought that this was something that was morally and ethically right. This Stanford Experiment violated a few of the Five General Principles of Ethics. • 12. The Bell Jar Plath The Bell Jar is an autobiographical, feminist novel by Sylvia Plath. The main character, Esther Greenwood represents Sylvia Plath in several life events throughout the novel. I think one of the best themes of this novel is that it challenges and mocks the idea of misogyny. Some examples of how society restricted women in the 1950s deal with sex, work, and home lives and some of these examples still exist. This novel sticks up for women and shows the true potential that they behold. She is Esther s boss and she influences Esther to be as motivated and ambitious as she is toward the beginning of the novel. Jaycee is a motivated, working woman that doesn t live her life to support men. The second character that does not fall victim to the sexist society is obviously, Esther. • 16. Analysis Of Tom Wacaster s Book Galatians In his book, Studies in Galatians, Tom Wacaster addresses a very vital need: to provide common level, sound commentaries of the Bible. Books such as this are very beneficial, as they assist an average member of the church to expand their understanding of God s word. This, as Wacaster stated himself, was his goal in writing this very commentary. If [Studies in Galatians] serves to give just one precious soul a better understanding of this wonderful letter...then it will have been worth the time spent in preparing and publishing (3, 4). Wacaster has surely accomplished this worthy objective and more with this valuable book. Wacaster s book, which is (as the title suggests) centered on Paul s epistle to the Galatians, is very obviously intended to the common level, average audience. Wacaster does not delve into complex conversations of textual variants, manuscript discrepancies, and disputations of authorship, nor does he use vocabulary or phraseology that is above the understanding of most individuals. Rather, Wacaster is simple, straightforward, and effective in communicating his points on the wonderful book of Galatians. With many commentaries that are written at a graduate and scholarly level, a more basic approach is much appreciated and needed. Wacaster took a very direct approach in organizing Studies in Galatians. It is setup as a verse by verse commentary, with each verse being given in the American Standard Version and then followed by the author s discussion of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

It is not only lack of representation, but denial of struggles, denial of personhood, and strict adherence to binary categories. People who do not exist within well known labels, such as gay or straight, are persecuted, mistrusted, invalidated, and oppressed, sometimes by members of other oppressed groups. • 22. Analysis Of The Video Game Console Market Essay Five Forces Analysis Threat of New Entry When it comes to entering the video game console market there are a lot of costs that are incurred. This limits the amount of competition that is coming in from an outside source. Microsoft spent over 100 million dollars on research and development alone for the Xbox one controller (Ron, 2013). This is a huge cost that new companies usually cannot absorb when first starting out. There is also a huge cost difference from new producers and long standing producers due to experience and the economies of scale that the top companies have. The last factor that really deters companies from entering the console game is the fierce brand loyalty that inhabits the video game market. Most consumers once they pick a side stick to it, this can span as far back as childhood. On release the PlayStation 4 had better specs then the Xbox One, and yet 42% of previous Xbox owners choose the Xbox One over the PlayStation 4 (Sakraida, 2014). Competition In the gaming industry competition comes from every direction. The most commonly thought of outside sources of competition are the PC industry and mobile gaming industry. • 23. The Approach to Nature of Descartes and White Essay The Approach to Nature of Descartes and White The approach to nature which René Descartes takes is distinct from that of Gilbert White. Descartes and White have similar key methods of examining nature. It is mainly in Descartes deductive reasoning and beliefs that lead him to the method of approaching nature internally (mind and body). Conversely, White s keen observances, inductive reasoning, and appreciation for his surroundings lead him to the method of investigating the external nature (Selborne). Although ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In this hierarchy, God stands as some more perfect being on which [humans] [depend] (Descartes, 26). Humans are placed in the centre, because God grants us the ability to reason the ability to distinguish what is true from what is false (Descartes, 22). Below us rest animals, having no reason. Truth in nature therefore, must not come from animals since they are lesser beings, but rather, it must be found within humans. White finds appreciation for the external nature which Descartes considers to be less certain (Descartes, 28). While Descartes takes a rational approach, White takes a scientific, yet literary means toward nature. He observes nature ardently, noting animals modes of life housing, reproduction, communications, transportation, and physical appearance. His ability to personify these animals creates a meeting place for wild life and human feeling (White, xvii). In his recordings for example, White observes the swallow s mode of life. It builds its nest, often within barns and out houses against the rafters (White, 156). The swallow lays from four to six white eggs, dotted with red specks; and brings about her first brood about the last week in June, or the first week of July (White, 157). At any moment the Martian air might draw his soul from him, as marrow comes from a white bone. This means that a party of humans had reached some environment that was unfamiliar because in the text we learn that the humans had emerged from a rocket that came from Earth and that they were currently in a Martian setting. Further into the text, when the family is told that they cannot return to their home, it states, For a long time there was only the sound of the wind in the late afternoon. Alone, thought Bittering. Only a thousand of us here. No way back. No way. No way. This text means that the humans who had approached Mars as their new home would be forever lost there, and this is because in the text we learn that atom bombs hit New York, causing all the space rockets to explode. This text also means that the silence that was roaming the family was due to the fact that they were speechless because in the text we learn how that their old and favored home was gone. This is important because it shows how the author chose to mention that the wind was whining, how the martian air was threatening, and only the sound of the wind because he wanted to lay out the mood of foreboding for the readers. • 42. Understanding the Compostion of Planet Earth For millions of years, the Earth beneath our feet befuddled scientists. They understood that there was a fiery chasm constantly spewing molten lava. But what was underneath all of that magma, was there anything else? It would take thousands of years before a scientist could create a viable hypothesis for the core of the Earth. According to Edmund Mathez of the American Museum of Natural history, Inge Lehman, a Danish seismologist, published a paper in 1936 that suggested there was a solid inner core to the Earth, as well as a liquid outer core (Mathez, 2001). With the technology that we have now that Lehman did not have, we have furthered the understanding of our planet s core, which has led to a greater understanding of the entire workings of our planet. BBC s The Core is a documentary that helps deliver that understanding of the core to the public so that they may understand what is happening with the world below its people. The documentary begins with more mysterious information, discussing problems that NASA had with the Hubble telescope on an almost daily basis. In February of 1997, once a day, the Hubble telescope would flicker on and off. There was fear that a total loss of the expensive telescope was eminent. The next step for the scientists was to plot exactly where the malfunctions were occurring. It was discovered, as the telescope drifted over southern South America and the South Atlantic Ocean, that the telescope would flicker and encounter the most problems. ... • 44. A Reflection On The Racquetball Curriculum The racquetball curriculum has a lot to offer outside the realm of physical activity. Racquetball proves to be great exercise, but can also be a great learning experience. My time throughout the class has been a wonderful learning experience. After completing the racquetball course I will have learned plenty in which I can apply to my future life. Before my enrollment in racquetball I had little to no knowledge of the sport. If someone had asked me to describe the sport as a whole I would not have been able to adequately do so. Having no knowledge of the rules, terminology, or tactics behind the game, one could conclude that I knew next to nothing about racquetball. During the length of the course I spent much of my time on the court learning, improving, and developing an understanding of the activity. I have developed an appreciation for the game and those who play it. Racquetball itself proves to be much more complex than what I had originally though. Cleary simply hitting the ball does not prove to be an proficient play style as I had once assumed. This will no doubt defer me from making assumptions about other sports in the future. This was a worthwhile learning experience as a whole, and developing an appreciation for the game is not the only thing I will take away from this class. Alongside debunking any misconceptions I once had, racquetball also reinforced the importance of diet in the everyday lifestyle. Aside from the countless things learned on the court, I ... • 46. Honesty Services Fraud Case Study The case of former Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell and his wife, Maureen McDonnell was an important game changer in politics. They were indicted by the Federal Government on bribery charges. These charges were due to the acceptance of more than $170,000 in loans, gifts, and other benefits by a Virginia businessman, Jonnie Williams, while the Governor was in office. Jonnie Williams was the chief executive officer of Star Scientific, which is a Virginia based company that developed a nutritional supplement made from anatabine, a compound found in tobacco. This nutritional supplement called Anatabloc. William claimed that Anatabloc had healing powers and wanted to continue the research on anatabine. Therefore, William wanted the Governor s ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The charges against the Governor were conspiracy to commit honest services fraud (18 U. S. C.§1343) and conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act extortion (§1951(a)). As to Governor spouse, Maureen McDonnell, she was indicted on obstructing official proceedings (§1512(c)(2)) and similar charges as the Governor. The bribery statute states that a crime is committed when a public official or person selected to be a public official, directly or indirectly, or corruptly demand, receive, accept to receive or accept anything of value in return for being influenced in the performance of any official act. §201(b) (2). Therefore, the Government was required to prove that Governor McDonnell agreed to commit an official act in exchange for the gifts and loans from Williams. The Government alleged that the Governor had committed more than five official acts by arranging meetings, hosting events, promoting Star Scientific s products and contacting other government officials to encourage the research of anatabine in state universities. The Governor claimed that doing this kind of meetings or introductions was common and that he did it literally thousands of times as Governor. The District Court told the jury that in order to convict Governor McDonnell, it must find that he agreed to accept a thing of value in exchange for official action . The Governor requested the court to instruct the jury to further explain the meaning of official act but the District Court declined the proposed instruction to the jury. The jury convicted the Governor on the honest services fraud and Hobbs Act extortion charges but cleared him on the false statement charges. After the verdict, the Governor filed a motion to vacate the convictions claiming the jury instructions were legally erroneous, but the District Court denied the motion. Governor McDonnell appealed his convictions to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
