I was able to see what happened to the absorbance after changing the temperature of the catechol
oxidase solution. I did this by heating and cooling the solutions to measure the absorbances in hot,
cold, warm, and room temperature. Then the data was compared to see how the temperature effected
the solution. The catechol oxidase solutions reacted best in room temperature (twenty three degrees
Celsius) and the worst in the cold (zero degrees Celsius). I concluded that temperature really does

know that enzymes are biological catalysts. The enzyme that I used for this experiment was potato
juice. Enzymes make reaction rates go faster. They lower activation energy, making chemical

They consume growing amounts of energy and other natural resources, degrading the environment in
numerous ways. In addition to using up fossil fuels and other resources, plastic products create litter,
hurt marine life, and threaten the basis of life on earth. There is over 45 million tons of plastics per
year and nearly every piece of plastic ever made still exists today because of its long life properties.
Biodegradable plastics could be an effective solution to all of these problems. Biodegradable plastics
are a much better choice than non biodegradable plastics because they are friendlier to the earth and
the environment. Biodegradable plastics break down faster, can be recycled easier and are non toxic.
With these characteristics of biodegradable plastics, we could help save lives and the environment as

Middle Eastern marriage is the legal age. The young age that Middle Eastern girls marry has come up

At that age children want to play and go to school they are not mature enough to do things such as
cook, work, and pay bills. In the Middle East a man s wife is considered his property so that means it
is unlikely that anyone will enforce the ban against sexual relations with girls so young. Also the fact
