GPS-GSM integration for enhancing public transportation management services

The main aim of this project is to enhance the public transportation system. This project consists of three modules i.e Bus station module , Inbus module & User module. The user who want to know the exact location of the vehicle , they have to send an SMS to Inbus module hence the user will receive a text SMS regarding the exact location of the vehicle.

IRJET- Automated Traffic Control System

Vehicle accident detection system (VAD)
The main objective of our project is to provide an optimum solution to the traffic hazards and the road accidents. According to this project when a vehicle meets with an accident, immediately vibration sensor will detect the signal and sends it to ARM controller. Microcontroller sends the alert message through the GSM MODEM including the location to police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS MODEM after receiving the information.
Intelligent urban traffic control system
This document proposes an Intelligent Urban Traffic Control System for Kajang, Malaysia to address traffic congestion issues. It involves collecting traffic data at 3 intersections, determining optimal cycle times and signal timings, and proposing an integrated traffic management system consisting of a Traffic Control Center, automatic traffic signals, smart surveillance cameras, variable message signs, and a traveler information system to provide real-time updates. Here load cells are used for real time measurement of weight of goods loaded into vehicle, NodeMCU an open source IoT platform to get weight and location with servers using internet of things on LCD, which need to be monitored by RTO, GPS module to access location of vehicle and circuit to control the ignition system of vehicle when it is overloaded.

identifies the train location with a highest accuracy and transfers the information to the central
system. The availability of the information allows the train Controller to take accurate decisions as
for the train location. Positioning data along with train speed helps the central system to identify the
possible safety issues and react to them effectively using the communication methods provided by

Abstract:
Much attention has been attracted to the research of cooperative automatic driving that focuses on safety and efficiency by sharing the data obtained from sensor information of a vehicle. In addition, dynamic maps, a common information and communication platform for the integrated management of shared sensor information, are under consideration. A vehicle always sends data to a server that manages the dynamic map, and the server runs applications for driving support and control on the basis of the data, so fast information processing is required. However, congestion is a concern when data is continuously sent from vehicles to the server at high transmission intervals and when many vehicles are managed by dynamic maps on the server. In addition, the data transmission interval from the vehicle required by the road characteristics differs in actual traffic environments. Therefore, congestion can be alleviated by adjusting the transmission interval of data from the vehicle in consideration of road characteristics. In this paper, a platform for a dynamic map consisting of a server and a vehicle is constructed. We have also implemented a priority processing function that sets the priority for each section of a lane, and adjusts the transmission interval on the basis of the characteristics of the road around the vehicle.

This document proposes an image processing based real-time traffic control system with a GSM interface. A camera mounted on a DC motor would capture images of the road to estimate traffic density. MATLAB would process the images to determine the covered vehicle area and assign a light sequence duration for each road accordingly. An ARM7 controller would control the light sequences and motor. A GSM module would allow emergency vehicles to trigger a light priority by sending an SMS message to receivers at intersections. The system aims to reduce congestion compared to traditional fixed-timing traffic lights.

The system uses MEMS sensors to detect vibrations during an accident and ultrasonic sensors to calculate distance. When an accident is detected, the microcontroller processes the sensor data and sends an alert message via GSM module containing the location coordinates, time, and angle of the accident. This information is transmitted to emergency responders and the vehicle owner's family to help provide timely medical assistance to accident victims.

The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.
Prediction of Electrical Energy Efficiency Using Information on Consumer's Ac...
Energy efficiency has been important since the latter part of the last century. The main object of this survey is to determine the energy efficiency knowledge among consumers. Two separate districts in Bangladesh are selected to conduct the survey on households and showrooms about the energy and seller also. The survey uses the data to find some regression equations from which it is easy to predict energy efficiency knowledge. The data is analyzed and calculated based on five important criteria. The initial target was to find some factors that help predict a person's energy efficiency knowledge. From the survey, it is found that the energy efficiency awareness among the people of our country is very low. Relationships between household energy use behaviors are estimated using a unique dataset of about 40 households and 20 showrooms in Bangladesh's Chapainawabganj and Bagerhat districts. Knowledge of energy consumption and energy efficiency technology options is found to be associated with household use of energy conservation practices. Household characteristics also influence household energy use behavior. Younger household cohorts are more likely to adopt energy-efficient technologies and energy conservation practices and place primary importance on energy saving for environmental reasons. Education also influences attitudes toward energy conservation in Bangladesh. Low-education households indicate they primarily save electricity for the environment while high-education households indicate they are motivated by environmental concerns.
