At the age of barely being a full one year old, a lot of transitions take place when being able to
observe a baby in its environment. After watching Alana, a nine month old little girl, I was able to see
both Erikson and Freud s stages come into play. While being in her home for a week, I was able to see
and interact with her during different times of the day each on different days, which helped to truly see
and observe her actions depending on what current mood she was in the for the day. For theorist Erik
Erikson, babies are in the trust vs. mistrust stage up until the age of one. During this stage, attachment

are used portray things in different ways. In most poems you can see similarities through the literary

dementia is by playing games such as memory games that can help them keep their mind s going.
According to Karen Miller, publisher of Memory Jogging Puzzles, stated that Studies have shown,
that memory games help slow down memory loss and brain deterioration. These games can range
anywhere from being low tech, or high tech. Some games that the help stimulate the mind that
individuals with dementia are cards games such as concentration. Concentration is a well known card

turn over pairs of matching cards. This game is used to exercise the brain and help recollect and
