The short story Greasy Lake by Tom Boyle is about a young man and his friends who thought they
were some real bad characters. The main character and his two friends got into a series of events that
started with almost killing a young man for no reason, to almost raping a young woman which made

narrator underwent a series of events that caused the destruction of his mom s car and the shattering

About a year ago today my family was going through many issues that affected my mental well being
tremendously. Being home was similar to being lost, it was a world I wasn t equipped for, and no
longer wanted to be apart of. Things at home took such a turn that my mother sent my sister to live in
Florida with her father, I knew then I no longer had a purpose to stay. Following this occasion, I

Deep in the mountains in the southwest corner of North Carolina is a river unlike any other. Halfway
through my perilous rafting journey, there was a moment when time stood still. I witnessed a natural

Nantahala is a whitewater river nestled in a valley with steep mountains flanking it on all sides. The

constantly fighting to stay upright and not be cast overboard by the restless aggression of the rapids.

A School For Unusual Girls
Okay, I don t know what else to say besides the fact that I absolutely loved this book. I really enjoy
books that take place in historical settings, like The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare and
His Fair Assassin series by Robin LaFevers. This book was sort of a mix between the two. Set in 1814
London, we are introduced to Georgiana Fitzwilliam who is currently trapped in a carriage with her
parents on their way to this infamous boarding school. From what we learn in the synopsis, this
boarding school that is supposed to reform young ladies into marriageable quality through various
tactics not excluding torture. But, that is only the sales pitch given to the parents of these unusual girls.

The story is so rich and vivid in its descriptions and characters that you can t help but be put under a
spell. If it wasn t for school coming up on finals week, I would have finished this book in one sitting it
was so good. I can t wait for more, I need the sequel now not some undeclared date in the future.
There is so much mystery and danger throughout the book, it is so deceptively written than you don t
realize things until it is far too late sort of like Georgie. I would recommend this to any fans of Grave
Mercy and Clockwork Angel, or to anyone who enjoys spy novels and historical fiction. This book is
much more than just a spy novel, at least in my opinion, but it seems a somewhat fitting classification.
I would say this book is appropriate for ages thirteen and up, the proper decorum of the characters and
situations eliminates a lot of adult content which makes it appropriate for younger readers. There is
still a lot that goes on, and the few kisses that are there are intense. This will be one of the series I
follow until completion and cry between breaks in the books this has become a new obsession. Well

One of Jane Austin s most popular works and one that I am personally familiar with is Pride and
Prejudice. It is believed that Jane Austen began writing Pride and Prejudice between the years of 1795
to 1799. However, the original title for Pride and Prejudice was said to be First Impressions. First

Biography Of Robert W. Smith
Robert W. Smith was born on October 24th, 1958 in Daleville, Alabama. He went to secondary school
in Daleville, after which he cleared out for Troy State University, where he played lead trumpet in the
Sound of the South Marching Band. Besides playing trumpet, he also studied composition during his
time at TSU with Dr. Paul Yoder.
Upon his graduation from TSU with a Bachelor of Music Education degree, Smith sought after his
musical profession in South Florida, where he earned the Master s degree in Media Writing and
Production from the University of Miami, while working with Dr. Alfred Reed. He was soon enlisted
by Columbia Pictures Publications and later Warner Bros./Belwin Publications. Smith s career with
Warner Bros flourished until 2005 when the company was bought out by AMP (Alfred Music
Publishing)
Smith came back to Troy, Alabama in 1997 to get the Director of Bands job at Troy State University,
after the retirement of this old band director, Dr. Long. Smith would end up staying at Troy for four
years, working with the Sound of the South Marching Band as well as the Symphony Band. Later in
2001, Smith left Troy to try and get a more full time job with Warner Brothers Publications. After
leaving Troy, Warner Bros gave him the opportunity to travel the world, as not only as a guest

In contrast to Bismarck, Kaiser believed that in order to keep Germany in power and prevent them
from defeat he had to build and strengthen a navy as strong as, if not stronger than England s. In all,
Kaiser s end goal was to make Germany the strongest country in power out of Europe, whereas
