Contribution Of The Galatians
To give some background, Paul is believed to be born in Tarsus and descendant of the Hebrew tribe of
Benjamin. Raised in a Jewish home, he was taught the Old Testament scriptures and brought up in
accordance with the beliefs and practices of the Pharisees. As he grew older, he was sent to the city of
Jerusalem, where he studied under Gamaliel, one of the leading Jewish rabbis of that time. He then
returned to Jerusalem and began studying to become a rabbi. During his studies there began a conflict
within him between human law and desires. This conflict became unbearable for Paul, so he gave up
on becoming a rabbi. While looking for a new goal in life he decided to work on suppressing the new
religion during this time, Christianity.
This was a crucial turning point for Paul, he witnessed the Christians actions and he began to have a
growing respect for the faith, until he was finally ready to join the cause. Paul was instrumental in
shaping western churches and Christianity. Many revival and reform movements during the course of
Christian history have been started by Paul s section of the New Testament. For example, Martin
Luther s commentary on Romans was an important factor in the advancement of the Protestant
Reformation. Paul s letters have had enormous influence on Christianity and secure his place as one of
the greatest religious leaders.
The major themes of Paul s gospel come to the forefront in Galatians and Romans. Galatians reveals

American Protocol Vs Kyoto Protocol
The Montreal Protocol and the Kyoto Protocol has both established its place in history for climate and
environmental enforcement. While the Montreal Protocol provided for a stepping stone in the history
of environmental regulation, its follow up, the Kyoto Protocol, fell short of the same success. In this
particular instance, the difference in types of politics has an imperative effect on the different schemes.
The type of politics, client politics, that followed the Montreal Protocol scheme is exhibited in its
success while the Kyoto Protocol scheme s amount of success paled in comparison.
The Montreal Protocol was a large stepping stone for environmental regulation as it directly targeted
the substances that were depleting the ozone layer. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Montreal Protocol was specific in what it desired to eliminate with an area the nations wanted to
target. More importantly, the nations also had a common enemy in which everyone agreed upon. It
was unmistakable that the ozone depletion was an effect from the chlorofluorocarbons. Overall, the
Montreal Protocol had a large enough consensus of what was the problem and what actions were
needed. There were distributed costs because of the various nations that were on board with phasing
out the chlorofluorocarbons from commercial production and in particular, the aerosol industry. It was
a multilateral success story that had its concentrated benefits: decreasing depletion in the ozone and
now a poster child for future environmental

Evidence Related Issues In Court Cases
Evidence Related Issues
This appeal was entirely based on multiple evidence related issues arising out of the trial by jury in
2005, where Mr. Campbell was held guilty, mainly due to expert witness testimony as well as the
evidence presented by Ms Ingham to be used for motive and tendency purposes.
Appeal Judges as Guardians for Rules on Admissibility of Evidence
Where the admissibility of a confession or other item of prosecution evidence is disputed, the judge
will often hear evidence in the absence of the jury before deciding the question. This procedure is
known as a voir dire after the type of oath administered to witnesses who give evidence during it .

As per the Uniform Evidence Act, there are two aspects of the test for admissibility under the uniform
evidence legislation. The first is the requirement of notice which applies to all tendency and
coincidence evidence. The second aspect of the test for admissibility is a test for probative value. In
general, the legislation requires that tendency and coincidence evidence must have significant
probative value : ss 97(1)(b) and 98(1)(b). If the tendency or coincidence evidence is evidence about
an accused person in criminal proceedings, and the evidence is being adduced by the prosecution,
however, then a higher standard is required. In such cases, the evidence is inadmissible unless the
probative value of the evidence substantially outweighs any doubt.

Tecnology and Humanity Essay
Technology and Humanity
Introduction
A new study commissioned by Intel Corporation and conducted by Penn Schoen Berland found that
young adults, especially millennials (aged 18 to 24) who grew up with smartphones, iPads and other
digital gizmos and gadgets, are increasingly tech savvy; but many who fall into this category also
think technology is making people less human in the process. The Intel Innovation Barometer further
revealed that the millennials globally show a stark contrast to their reputation as digital natives who
can t get enough of the high tech stuff in their lives. In fact, the study noted a majority of millennials
even agree that technology makes people less human (Suciu, 2013).
There has been an evolution ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Technology and Children
Human beings are social beings by nature; right from birth, humans experience this socialization and
this socialization is the core of being human. Gawande (2009) once wrote:
Human beings are social creatures. We are social not just in the trivial sense that we like company, and
not just in the obvious sense that we each depend on others. We are social in a more elemental way:
simply to exist as a normal human being requires interaction with other people.
The need to physically interact with other fellow human beings especially as children roots its essence
in the fact that through these interactions children learn a lot about other human beings. It is through
such interactions that children learn how to be responsive and how to relate to others. Human beings
come into the world programmed to respond and relate to others. Even infants turn in response to the
sound of a human voice. These interactions are very important in helping children develop
emotionally and socially. These interactions provide a training ground for children to try out different
ways of relating to others. Through interacting with fellow children and/or humans, children learn the
give and take of social behavior in general. They learn how to set up rules, how to weigh alternatives
and make decisions when faced with dilemmas. They learn that different people and different
situations call for different behaviors and they come to

Example Of Critical Essay Examples
Critical Essay In the beginning of November one of my best friends Cheyann turned 18, she was super
excited about her birthday because she was going to have all her friends around her including her
younger sister, her two other girl best friend and myself. She made plans for her birthday to be
downtown as more of a girls night out fancy dinner celebration. She asked me to drive us downtown
to the mall, so after grabbing a parking ticket we drove around and around the cold, concrete parking
garage to about the 3rd or 4th level. As I got out of the car I noticed that there were only a few cars
around us in the dim lit garage, it was around 6pm so it was already dark and freezing cold outside.
All us girls started walking towards the doors that led to the elevators laughing and talking loudly in
our heels and short, fancy dresses when Cheyann stopped dead in her tracks and froze up.
I cant ride the elevator I have panic attacks remember? She said anxiously as she looked at me.

other reasons, while those are great and very revolutionary women still need to be aware that predators

Police Gang So I Chose The Mexican Mafia
The topic my group and I decided on was Prison Gangs. Our subtopic was to choose a prison gang so I
chose the Mexican Mafia. I chose the Mexican Mafia subtopic because it was recommended to me
from another group member. At first the book did not seem interesting because this is a book I would
not normally pick up on my own. This book will talk about many things from its early history of the
Mexican Mafia in chapter one to rival gangs in Chapter twelve. Chapter one talks about gang s early
history, prison gangs did not start in prison, they had to be street gangs; Mexican Street gangs have
been in California since the 1900. Mexican street gangs from the south side of Los Angeles had over
50,000 members 600 from different gangs. The founder of the Duell Vocational Institution (DVI) from
Tracy, California was a man named Luis Huero Buff Flores. The original members of these street
gangs we not in fact Mexican nationals but Citizens of the US. A majority of them spoke English and
Calo and very few, close to none spoke Spanish. What shocked the author was that the members of the
gang were at some point in time were rivals on the street. Flores created the gang but did not run it, the
book says he made it so no one man controls the gang but instead everyone voted, and the majority
won. He wanted all members to have equality.
Sociologist and law enforcers believed the gangs were created to protect them from inmates. The gang
had their very own rules; they were very strict the

Van Gogh Essay
Van Gogh Essay
In this essay I am going to discuss Vincent Van Gogh and post Impressionism. Vincent Willem van
Gogh (March 1853 29 July 1890) was a Dutch post Impressionist painter whose work, notable for its
rough beauty, emotional honesty and bold color, had a far reaching influence on 20th century art. After
years of painful anxiety and frequent bouts of mental illness, he died aged 37 from a gunshot wound,
generally accepted to be self inflicted (although no gun was ever found). His work was then known to
only a handful of people and appreciated by fewer still.
France in the late 19th century was in the rule of the ambitious Napoleon III. Prussian prime minister,
Otto von Bismarck waged war on France, capturing Paris and claiming ... Show more content on

Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh has risen to the peak of artistic achievements. Although Van Gogh
sold only one painting in his life, the aftermath of his work is enormous. Starry Night is one of the
most well known images in modern culture as well as being one of the most replicated and sought
after prints.
One may begin to ask what features within the painting are responsible for its ever growing popularity.
There are actually several main aspects that intrigue those. Firstly here is the night sky filled with
swirling clouds, stars ablaze with their own luminescence, and a bright crescent moon. Although the
features are exaggerated, this is a scene we can all relate to, and also one that most individuals feel
comfortable and at ease with. This sky keeps the viewer s eyes moving about the painting, following
the curves and creating a visual dot to dot with the stars. This movement keeps the onlooker involved
in the painting while the other factors take hold.Secondly below the rolling hills of the horizon lies a
small town. There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. Perhaps the cool dark colors and
the fiery windows spark memories of our own warm childhood years filled with imagination of what
exists in the night and dark starry skies. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church,

falling onto the cold hard floor. You know, most people nudge the person they want to wake up...or
wait. She grumbled looking at Ginny, who was laughing on the floor. Sorry, I thought it would be
funny. And I was right Ginny giggled helping Hermione up. Hermione just huffed then walked away
to get ready for the school day. So what do you think of this new student Rose? Hermione asked
Ginny walking down the stairs to the common room. I don t really know, all I know is she s a

grabbing some toast. I think it s lovely, very welcoming, she replied grabbing eggs and toast. We re
glad you like it, Harry said. So when do we know if we got into the Glee Club? Rose anxiously asked.
Well we don t exactly know, this is our first year having one, but I guessing it will around lunch time,
Hermione said, looking at the rest of her friends knowing they know they got in, Well we ll worry
about that later, for now let s get to class before Professor Flitwick has our heads, Harry chuckled. For
Hermione the first few classes dragged on. Flitwick just reviewed what they already learned from their
sixth year. Potions with Slughorn was the same way but they reviewed safety for when making
potions. And Herbology well... It s Herbology. It was a relief for her when they were dismissed for
lunch. Just as Hermione assumed the list for who was in the Glee Club was up on the bulletin board
outside the great hall. She s pushed her way through the crowed to see who was on the list. Obviously
Harry, Ginny, Ron, Neville, Luna and herself were on the list. Rose was on the list. A few Ravenclaws

In order to obtain a good match to the data at low temperature, an intermolecular interaction, zJ, was
included using the mean field approximation. The simulation shown in Fig. 5 has J = +0.255 cm−1
and zJ = −0.045 cm−1. Exchange between two transition metal ions as mediated by the closed shell
Ln(III) ions [La(III) at one end of the series, or Lu(III) at the other] has been found to be weak.29, 66,
67 A recent study used DFT calculations to show the exchange between Mn(III) ions across Y(III) in a
Mn8Y8 disc to measure J = +0.43 cm−1,68 while antiferromagnetic coupling was observed in a linear
Ni La Ni compound (J = −0.978 cm−1).69 An alternative to intermolecular antiferromagnetic
interactions as an explanation for the decrease in χMT at low temperatures could be the ZFS
associated with the Mn(III) ions. However, any attempt to include a contribution for the ZFS of the
Mn(III) ion in the simulations was unsuccessful, because it overcompensated the weak intramolecular
coupling interaction and negated the increase in χMT that is observed on lowering the temperature. To
confirm the suitability of the simulated intra and and intermolecular exchange interactions found for
compound 1, and to investigate the possible ZFS associated with the Mn(III) ions, we used DFT and
CASSCF calculations (vide infra).

Preventing Catheter-Related Bloodstream Infections in...
Central venous catheters, usually called CVCs, are extremely important for patients in any type of
intensive care unit. It is because of their crucial role in the care of these patients that their troublesome
risk of catheter related bloodstream infections, sometimes referred to as CR BSIs, has developed into
such a problem. There are approximately 80,000 CR BSIs diagnosed each year in the United States
alone. These infections lead to nearly 28,000 patient deaths in intensive care units. Not only is this a
dreadful loss of life; it is also incredibly expensive. Extra care and treatment for a patient suffering
from a CR BSI can cost an average of $45,000. In fact, these infections can cost as much as $2.3
billion for the United States each ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They also require the use of a full size sterile drape around the insertion site. Previously, the only
precautions taken when dealing with the insertion of CVCs were the use of sterile gloves and a small
regional sterile drape. The maximal sterile barriers procedure is much more time consuming than the
original method, so we must find how well these strict techniques work in comparison to previous
techniques (Hu, Veenstra, Lipsky, Saint, 2004). If there is little or no improvement, there would seem
to be no reason behind spending the extra time and money on the maximal sterile barriers. There are
four criteria for comparison that should play a large role in the decision between the two techniques:
infection rates, cost effectiveness, likelihood of those implementing maximal sterile barriers also using
other safety precautions, and survival rate and/or mortality rate. Infection Rates The implementation
of maximal sterile barriers to replace the older, more lenient techniques can significantly lower
infection rates. The improved infection rates have been consistent for different age groups, just as the
rate of CR BSIs are consistent for the different age groups. For example, the Neonatal intensive care
unit at George Washington University Hospital tried to implement more strict sterilization techniques
after discovering that their rate of CR BSIs was nearly twice the national average provided by The
National Nosocomial Infection Surveillance

undergraduate Christian students from the introduction to psychology at major mid atlantic

Mary Dorcey Come Quietly Essay
3.2. Mary Dorcey s Come Quietly or the Neighbours Will Hear
Another poem which manifests against the Catholic view of women is the Mary Dorcey s Come
Quietly or the Neighbours Will Hear in which the lesbian love is juxtaposed with the deliberately
silenced reality of the sexual assaults against women (Fogarty 93 94). Lesbian sexuality was a
disorder according to the 1992 Catholic Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Moane 442) and
although they were not criminalized, it was definitely not a sign of acceptance, of course, but a
negation of women s agency, . . . effectively restricting women s behaviour and desire (Weekes 123).
Although at first sight, the Virgin Mary does not fit into this scenario, the poem has multiple layers
and as Michaele Schrage Früh writes:
On one level, quite simply, through the ring of the Angelus, the bell rung in Roman Catholic churches

Nature of the Mind Essay
William Blake, a poet that strongly believed in the power of mind, once wrote, if we see with
imagination, we see all things in the infinite. The Romantic poets use their imagination when gazing at
nature, and therefore see and feel the infinite through their poetry. William Wordsworth expresses the
serene beauty that nature possesses and its calming effects on the mind. Samuel Taylor Coleridge, one
of the poetic geniuses of the age, uses nature and his imagination to create surreal atmospheres.
Another Romantic poet, by the name of Percy Bysshe Shelley, shows great longing for the freedom
that nature possesses and the freeing effect it has on him. These poets of the Romantic period look at

He expresses the mind s ability to take a beautiful scene and create a calm and content feeling
throughout his thoughts. Samuel Taylor Coleridge uses nature as a catalyst to search deeper into his
mind and discover the surreal creativity of his own imagination. This Lime Tree Bower My Prison
depicts an out of body vision that encompasses a breathtaking vista of green mountains and purple
flowers from the eyes of an imaginer. Gazing at it with swimming sense, the picture becomes less
gross than bodily, causing the swirling colors to form something only found in the divine. However
surreal this picture is, nothing can compare to Cloleridge s vision in Kubla Khan. In this poem he uses
nature s creations to depict unnatural scenes. In caverns measureless to man, Kubla Khan wants to
build a sunny pleasure dome with caves of ice. Such a place is only real in the imagination and in the
written word, which is why this poem seems so tangible to the eye. He comes across these imaginary
visions while meandering with a mazy motion through wood and dale, where these thoughts come
alive. It explains through alliteration how walking through wooded paths, accompanied only by one s
mind, one comes upon new feelings and thoughts that are only palpable in that wood. Nature inspires
Samuel Coleridge to exorcise his mind s eye and create a heavenly atmosphere. Percy Bysshe Shelley

Life Cycle of a Plant, Dominant and Recessive Traits
Paragraph One: Description of the life cycle of a plant from seed to seed (information about the seed,
germination, growth, development, flower, pollination, fruit, seed; information is accurate)
The life cycle of a plant from seed to seed is not that complicated, it consists of a few steps. This all
starts with a seed. The first step is for the seed to germinate and turn into a seedling. Once the seedling
is formed, it will then grow into an adult plant with petals. These petals will then sprout to flowers,
which will produce fruits. The flowers will go to a process of fertilization called pollination, that s
when the pollen is moved from anthers to stigmas. Since the pollen contains sperm and it is passed on
to the ovules in the ovary, the sperm moves down to an ovule, which contains eggs. Fertilization then
happens when the sperm fuses with the egg in the ovule. The petals and stamens then fall away
creating a fruit. These fruits contain seeds, and once the plant has died, the seeds will fall to the
ground and repeat this cycle. So to summarize, the seed goes through a process called germination and
forms into a seedling, which then grows roots and forms true leaves. This plant continues to grow until
flowers are formed. The next step is a process called pollination and fertilization, which then forms a
fruit. The fruit will release the seeds and the process repeats.

Analytic Functionalism As A Philosophy Of The Mind

Analytic Functionalism as a Philosophy of the Mind
In an attempt to bridge the gaps between the philosophy of behaviorism and the identity theory, I have
determined that functionalism presents us with the best solution. Although there are several concerns
to the methodic explanation of mental states, I believe that analytic functionalism is a credible model
that describes the mind. Analytic functionalism establishes an ontological method that provides more
acceptable ways to describe and characterize the mind. I will contend my point by first explaining the
evolution into functionalism, specifically analytic functionalism. I will then explain one of the most
prominent objections, the Chinese Room argument by John Searle. Beyond this argument, I will offer
my rebuttals for these assertions and stipulate reasoning for analytical functionalism s rational
reliability as a suitable philosophy of the mind.
With the decline of behaviorism, the identity theory, or type physicalism, gained popularity within the
philosophic community. J.J.C. Smart, also aiming to work reductively to shrink mental states to an
uncomplicated classification, introduced the stance that identity theorists began to agree with. This
was the theory that physical brain states could be simply equated with mental states. For example, the
mental state of pain could be associated with the firing of the localized c fibers region of the brain.

Comparing Frances Zefferilli s Hamlet and Shakespeare s Hamlet
I believe Frances Zefferilli s version of Shakespeare s Hamlet, made in 1990, is one of the best
versions of the play to be put onto screen. The film, starring Mel Gibson as Hamlet, and Glen Close as
Queen Gertrude, takes a different look to the play. Zefferilli explores the physiological stability of
Hamlet very well, especially in Act 3, Scene 4. My interpretation of that scene in the text was different
to the one given in the movie.
After reading the scene, I had the notion that Hamlet was already quite confused he had just come out

instead of being sad about the murder of his trusted councillor, he is merely disappointed that it had to
be Polonius calling for help instead of the king.
This part of the scene is presented a bit differently in the movie. When Hamlet enters, you can really
tell that he has gone mad. He is sad one minute, the next minute he ll give out an almighty roar.
Zefferilli has used the scenes surrounding this one to make it seem important. In some of the versions
they didn t have the near death of Claudious the scene before. I think having this scene beforehand
sets you up for Hamlet s confrontation with his mother.
You can really tell that both Hamlet and Gertrude are affected by Hamlet s insanity. Both of them
appear to cry for most of the scene. The whole scene is a sharing of emotions. The kiss is a connection
between them both, rather than a lust they both have for any sexual contact. They needed to connect
physically in some way, after all they are mother and son.
When the ghost of Hamlet s father enters, Hamlet is eager to find out what he has to say. The ghost
suggests that Hamlet talks to his mother but Gertrude still believes that he has lost his sanity, Alas,
how is t with you? . In the movie the ghost appears to be a real person, not a see through character like
the other movies depict. This is done to cause the allusion that Hamlet s father is still

Mankind is one of the biggest races on the Earth and with that many people, there are bound to be

bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Now things like this may happen in the future. On
August 6, 1945 the United States of America dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, resulting in the
end of World War II, as stated in Atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, by history.com. Though it did

things that came out of this bomb was the destruction of the Earth. It destroyed the 90 percent of the
city and if a citizen could have survived that, they would have died due to the radiation to come. Then

Arguments Against Neoliberalism
Response:
As will be discussed in this response, there is sufficient evidence to prove that neoliberal assumptions,
language and policy prescriptions have in theory aimed to achieve social justice but in reality only
serves to entrench power and privilege to those already advantaged.
Neoliberalism is a blanket term that encompasses ideology, philosophy and strategy. (Penna O Brien,
2012; Roy et al, 2006; Miraftab et al, 2015). It is a term that is multifaceted and so one plain definition
could not give it justice. Possibly the way to describe it is to understand the main assumptions under
Neoliberalism. Penna O Brien (2008) argue the main assumptions underpinning Neoliberalism all

What Is The Difference Between The Harness And The Murder
John Steinbeck is the author of several very successful books, one of which being The Long Valley.
Steinbeck wrote about what he knew, regardless of whether or not it was appreciated by others. Not
everyone was immediately enamored by his writing, as his hometown of Salinas burned his books
(Curwen) when he was first beginning to write. However, as the stories gained popularity, Steinbeck
was able to return to his origins and found the National Steinbeck Center. The Long Valley is made up
of twelve different stories that consist of entirely different characters, but many similarities can be
found throughout the different stories in addition to the differences. The Harness and The Murder are
two stories that have both similarities and differences. The first story, The Harness , tells the story of a
model farmer named Peter Randall, who is highly respected within the community. In the beginning of
the story, Peter s wife, Emma Randall, dies, and Peter becomes predictably hysterical. However,
throughout the rest of the story, the reader learns how Peter s wife had dominated her husband and
made practically all of his decisions for him. The second story, The Murder , tells the story of another
married couple. The main character, Jim Moore, marries a sweet foreign girl named Jelka; however,
due to the communication barrier between the two, Moore begins to frequent brothels in order to
communicate with other women. At the end of the story, Moore finds Jelka cheating on

The Beliefs Of Gnosticism And The Church s Response
Gnosticism was one of the movements that grew out of Christianity. It would challenge the beliefs of
the church in a way that would put the two at odds. This case study will discuss the beliefs of
Gnosticism and the Church s response to it using research from scholarly printed text and on line
resources.
The term Gnosticism originates from the word gnosis, which means knowledge. It is a religious
movement that became popular during the first and second centuries. The school of thought behind the
Gnostic movement has not been able to be traced to its exact origin. However, some of the influences
on this movement go as far back as the second and first centuries BCE. Among those influences would
be the early treatises of the corpus Hermeticum and the Jewish Apocalyptic writings. The greatest
source for the movement came through the Platonic philosophy and the Hebrew Scriptures (Moore).
The movement is a controversial one with scholars being unable to put it in a definitive category. In
one instance it is called the label for an ill defined category that is under heavy criticism (Olsen). A
major problem with Gnosticism lies in the fact that there are very few absolutes where questions and
answers are concerned. This makes it problematic to have a dialogue that can bring everyone into
agreement on the subject. Clues can be drawn from the texts but even those prove to be both
inconsistent and inconclusive. Many of the Nag Hammadi texts are some form of Christian texts,

Police Enforcement And The Law Enforcement
What is law enforcement? The term has different meanings for individuals in our society based on
personal experiences. Law enforcement officers are members of society that come together in an
organized fashion and enforce the law. Law enforcement officers enforce the law by deterring,
punishing individuals and rehabilitating them. Law enforcement officers have been a part of our
society since the beginning of our democracy. Law enforcement officers are public servants to the
public to maintain peace in our society. Is this the case? In recent years, individuals have felt how law
enforcement agencies treat minorities. With the on growing population of minorities in the United
States, communities are becoming more diverse in police agencies. Should police agencies be a
representation of the communities they serve? When individuals picture a law enforcement officer
they tend to get the image of a white male officer. Individuals hardly or do not see minority, gender
officers in police agencies. In our history, law enforcement officer have always been one certain race
and individuals have accepted this way of order up until recent years. Many minorities or genders do
not apply to police agencies for several factors or barriers it brings to them. Several factors that play a
role in the diversity in police agencies are communities, fear, barriers within the agencies (promotions,
work environment), and culture of our society. Society has made the image of law enforcement look

The Romantic Era Of The Age Of Enlightenment
The Romantic Era was a literary movement that occurred in the late 18th century and the early 19th
century. During this movement, artists and authors alike rebelled against the established order and
classism of the time, and the values once believed in during the Age of Enlightenment (The Romantic
Era ). While the people of the Age of Enlightenment valued reason, and focused on the new and
original (The Enlightenment), the people of the Romantic Era focused on the emotions of the
individual, nature, and the narrowed outlook of life seen through the simplicity of undereducated
societies (The Nineteenth Century: Romanticism ). .A number of the literary pieces and artistic
paintings from this time were based not only on the emotions of the artists, but were also shaped by
the changing world around them.
During the Romantic Era, wars were fought as countries were torn apart over the class systems and the
unjust treatment that the people of lower classes suffered. A list of the wars fought in this period
includes The Battle Of Waterloo, fought by the emperor Napoleon , which ended in 1815,the
revolutions of the countries France, Italy, Austria, and Prague, and The American Civil War, fought
from 1861 to 1865 (Romanticism Timeline ). Romantic poets like Walt Whitman, who experienced the

Cure of the Streets
The poet Rainer Maria Rilke says that a work of art is good if it has sprung from necessity (Farley).
Hip Hop was born on the poor and dangerous streets of the USA. Minorities such as African
Americans and Hispanics dominated these streets, and they felt the need to address their long standing
common issues. Therefore, a new form of art, hip hop was born, and became the method of self
expression for these minorities. Lyrics have presented what they have been through. While rap has
turned from a tool of self expression to a multi billion dollar industry, it has continued to
constructively affect the social and economic structure of the society. While serving as a good
alternative to the streets, hip hop positively uplifts the cultural barriers within the society and educates
the youth. In order to better understand the necessity and the influence of hip hop, the history of how
and where this music emerged is highly important. In the 1970s, Hip hop was born in the immensely
impoverished, crime ridden, drug infested streets of the Bronx , which were often called America s
worst slum or the epitome of urban failure (Price 4). Emmett Price III, the writer of Hip Hop Culture,
says that the ostracized, marginalized, and oppressed youth started hip hop as a liberation movement ,
and they aimed to combat against issues of racial prejudice, cultural persecution, and social,
economic, and political disparities (Price 1). From the 1970s to the 1990s, hip hop had increased

Low and Decreasing Self Esteem During Adolescence Critique
Steiger, Allemand, Robins, and Fend (2014) hypothesized that not only the level but also the change in
self esteem affect depression. Using data from over a 23 year span, they investigated adolescent level
and change in self esteem and examined their predictive effects on adult depressive symptoms two
decades later. Self esteem was assessed annually from age 12 to 16, and depression was assessed at
age 16 and 35. Subsequently, they found that results demonstrated that both the level and change in
self esteem served as predictors for adult depression (Steiger et al., 2014). Individuals who entered

Subsequently, each self esteem domain was measured with six items. Participants rated each item on a

While the man broke a folkway, the woman broke a more, since she may face worse consequences
than the man. Both committed the same violation, but the degree of the negative sanctioned was
increased for the woman. This reveals how society views men and women when it comes to their
public decency and how weighted it is for women to uphold this value than men. Folkways may even
be mores for other cultures. In America, it is common for political leaders and other authority figures
to point as they speak. At times, pointing at strangers and whispering may indicate a folkway.
However in other countries, it is considered extremely rude regardless of the occasion; as in China,
you are to point with an open hand. The cultural difference influenced and altered the norm, ultimately
affected the result of the sanction. Sanctions can reveal favorable behaviors as well. Positive
incentives, from smiles to monetary rewards, can encourage certain behaviors. For example,

Morals And Values In Everyday Use By Alice Walker
Historically, values and beliefs are ascribed to people depending on their family s heritage. Most
religious people are religious because they were brought up in a home that believed in a particular
religion. There are some scholars that have been taught by the best schools and teachers due to their
family having a grand educational background. Even though all individuals are different in their own
right, a family normally holds the same beliefs and values as one another. Morals and values are
traditionally passed down through generations, however, there are situations where social influences
can play a role in deciding a person s principals. Family members that are influenced by society rather
than their families can easily become the outliers of the bunch. In Everyday Use , Alice Walker
demonstrates how social differences such as religion, education, and status between family members
can cause a disconnection within the family. Dee s social change in religion causes a disconnection
between the family. Walker makes it evident in the story that Mama is a Christian when she describes
a feeling that she has like when I m in church and the spirit of God touches me... (499). One could
assume that both Dee and Maggie were brought up as Christians along with Mama. On her visit back
home, Dee tells her mother to call her Wangero instead of Dee and uses terms such as Wa su zo Tean o
and Asalamalakum which signifies that she has adopted the Muslim religion. She also brings a friend
along with her who has adopted the Muslim religion as well. The story portrays Mama to seem as
though she has no interest in Dee s new name, and David Cowart explains this by stating She [Mama]
tries to have it both ways, referring to her daughter now by one name, now by the other, now by
parenthetically hybridized combinations of both (171). Mama named Dee after a family member, so
when Dee changed her name to something else, a disconnection between her and the family arose.
Another social difference Walker uses to illustrate a disconnection within the family is education.
Mama only has second grade education due to her school burning down and never getting rebuilt.
Mama explains how Maggie has a hard time reading and knows

old when I started to looked after my granddad who was suffering from cancer. When he died I
continued to care for people suffering like him, because during this time I realized that I want to help
people in need.
At the moment I am Health Care Assistant in Rehabilitation Ward and I really adore my job. We have
variety of patients and they all have different background ,nursing and emotional needs. When I

San Andres, Dan Carlo C. ENG 10 T 4R Review of Related Literature In today s economy, forex rate,
the price of one currency in terms of another, has considerably contributed to the economic status of
many countries all over the world. It is considered as one of the factors that identifies and emphasizes
the welfare of a country; specifically, the welfare of its residents. With forex rate, a country can be
provided with knowledge that may help them in different situations of interests. (Wright, n.d.)
According to Chand s article, forex rate has some major types. These are the following: 1. Fixed
Exchange Rate System This system, also known as Pegged exchange rate system, manages the
steadiness of the exchange rate by fixing the exchange rate to a value of another currency or to another
valuable measure such as gold which is lead by the government. However, even though it is a fixed
exchange rate system, a small variation may still take place. 2. Flexible Exchange Rate System This
system, also known as Floating exchange rate system, retains the fluctuation of the currency s value
depending on the foreign exchange market. This market determines the exchange rate by the demand

With the help of VAR, the interrelationships among these macrovariables are determined. The

Literary Analysis Of Home Burial By Robert Frost
Terri Adams Kimbrell
Logan M. Oliver
ENGL 1312
24 September 2017 Home Burial
Robert Frost s poem Home Burial speaks of the tragedies in a couple s life. The theme of Home Burial
is centered at the death of couple s child. It seems that men did not express their feelings well during
this time. Home Burial demonstrates how one life tragedy can cause another to tragedy because of
emotions that are uncontrollable. The man and woman in this poem has lost their baby to due to death.
The mother is grieving and it seems she doesn t recover from this loss; parents who lose a child never
forget, but most people do find ways to cope and move on in life. The baby is buried in the family
burial site and can be seen from a window in the couple s home. Every day the mother goes to the
window looking at the family plot. Watching the place where her child s body is buried continues the
sadness she feels. But, another emotion is contained in this wife and mother and that is anger and
resentment at her husband. At first, the reason for her anger seems unknown. The reasoning starts to
show when it says she refused him any help, with the least stiffening of her neck and silence. (lines13
14) Their dialogue is cold. What is it what? /Just that I see. / You don t, she challenged. /Tell me what
it is. (lines18 19). In the husband s first couple of lines and his last one, his attitude toward his wife
seems insensitive. First he tells her he wants to know why she keeps looking at through the window;
then he tells her she must tell him. Even though he ends the last part with dear , doesn t make it feel
any less of a demand to the wife and at the end of the poem, he ask, Where do you mean to go? First
tell me that. / I ll follow and bring you back by force. I will! (115). In between his words he seems to
attempt to learn how to talk with his wife, and he ask her to help him, but she has resentment in her
way. It seems that the husband is stressed and anxious. The wife, on the other hand, is going through a
hard time emotionally and she needs support and compassion and is not getting these needs from her
husband. Twice during the poem she starts to leave the house, and twice the husband delays her, by

  • 2. Contribution Of The Galatians To give some background, Paul is believed to be born in Tarsus and descendant of the Hebrew tribe of Benjamin. Raised in a Jewish home, he was taught the Old Testament scriptures and brought up in accordance with the beliefs and practices of the Pharisees. As he grew older, he was sent to the city of Jerusalem, where he studied under Gamaliel, one of the leading Jewish rabbis of that time. He then returned to Jerusalem and began studying to become a rabbi. During his studies there began a conflict within him between human law and desires. This conflict became unbearable for Paul, so he gave up on becoming a rabbi. While looking for a new goal in life he decided to work on suppressing the new religion during this time, Christianity. This was a crucial turning point for Paul, he witnessed the Christians actions and he began to have a growing respect for the faith, until he was finally ready to join the cause. Paul was instrumental in shaping western churches and Christianity. Many revival and reform movements during the course of Christian history have been started by Paul s section of the New Testament. For example, Martin Luther s commentary on Romans was an important factor in the advancement of the Protestant Reformation. Paul s letters have had enormous influence on Christianity and secure his place as one of the greatest religious leaders. The type of politics, client politics, that followed the Montreal Protocol scheme is exhibited in its success while the Kyoto Protocol scheme s amount of success paled in comparison. The Montreal Protocol was specific in what it desired to eliminate with an area the nations wanted to target. More importantly, the nations also had a common enemy in which everyone agreed upon. It was unmistakable that the ozone depletion was an effect from the chlorofluorocarbons. Overall, the Montreal Protocol had a large enough consensus of what was the problem and what actions were needed. There were distributed costs because of the various nations that were on board with phasing out the chlorofluorocarbons from commercial production and in particular, the aerosol industry. The Intel Innovation Barometer further revealed that the millennials globally show a stark contrast to their reputation as digital natives who can t get enough of the high tech stuff in their lives. Technology and Children Human beings are social beings by nature; right from birth, humans experience this socialization and this socialization is the core of being human. Gawande (2009) once wrote: Human beings are social creatures. We are social not just in the trivial sense that we like company, and not just in the obvious sense that we each depend on others. We are social in a more elemental way: simply to exist as a normal human being requires interaction with other people. The need to physically interact with other fellow human beings especially as children roots its essence in the fact that through these interactions children learn a lot about other human beings. It is through such interactions that children learn how to be responsive and how to relate to others. Human beings come into the world programmed to respond and relate to others. Even infants turn in response to the sound of a human voice. These interactions are very important in helping children develop emotionally and socially. These interactions provide a training ground for children to try out different ways of relating to others. Through interacting with fellow children and/or humans, children learn the give and take of social behavior in general. They learn how to set up rules, how to weigh alternatives and make decisions when faced with dilemmas. They learn that different people and different situations call for different behaviors and they come to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Mexican street gangs from the south side of Los Angeles had over 50,000 members 600 from different gangs. • 8. Van Gogh Essay Van Gogh Essay In this essay I am going to discuss Vincent Van Gogh and post Impressionism. Vincent Willem van Gogh (March 1853 29 July 1890) was a Dutch post Impressionist painter whose work, notable for its rough beauty, emotional honesty and bold color, had a far reaching influence on 20th century art. After years of painful anxiety and frequent bouts of mental illness, he died aged 37 from a gunshot wound, generally accepted to be self inflicted (although no gun was ever found). His work was then known to only a handful of people and appreciated by fewer still. France in the late 19th century was in the rule of the ambitious Napoleon III. Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh has risen to the peak of artistic achievements. Although Van Gogh sold only one painting in his life, the aftermath of his work is enormous. Starry Night is one of the most well known images in modern culture as well as being one of the most replicated and sought after prints. One may begin to ask what features within the painting are responsible for its ever growing popularity. There are actually several main aspects that intrigue those. Firstly here is the night sky filled with swirling clouds, stars ablaze with their own luminescence, and a bright crescent moon. Although the features are exaggerated, this is a scene we can all relate to, and also one that most individuals feel comfortable and at ease with. This sky keeps the viewer s eyes moving about the painting, following the curves and creating a visual dot to dot with the stars. This movement keeps the onlooker involved in the painting while the other factors take hold.Secondly below the rolling hills of the horizon lies a small town. There is a peaceful essence flowing from the structures. Perhaps the cool dark colors and the fiery windows spark memories of our own warm childhood years filled with imagination of what exists in the night and dark starry skies. The center point of the town is the tall steeple of the church, reigning ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Exchange between two transition metal ions as mediated by the closed shell Ln(III) ions [La(III) at one end of the series, or Lu(III) at the other] has been found to be weak.29, 66, 67 A recent study used DFT calculations to show the exchange between Mn(III) ions across Y(III) in a Mn8Y8 disc to measure J = +0.43 cm−1,68 while antiferromagnetic coupling was observed in a linear Ni La Ni compound (J = −0.978 cm−1).69 An alternative to intermolecular antiferromagnetic interactions as an explanation for the decrease in χMT at low temperatures could be the ZFS associated with the Mn(III) ions. However, any attempt to include a contribution for the ZFS of the Mn(III) ion in the simulations was unsuccessful, because it overcompensated the weak intramolecular coupling interaction and negated the increase in χMT that is observed on lowering the temperature. It is because of their crucial role in the care of these patients that their troublesome risk of catheter related bloodstream infections, sometimes referred to as CR BSIs, has developed into such a problem. There are approximately 80,000 CR BSIs diagnosed each year in the United States alone. These infections lead to nearly 28,000 patient deaths in intensive care units. Not only is this a dreadful loss of life; it is also incredibly expensive. Extra care and treatment for a patient suffering from a CR BSI can cost an average of $45,000. In fact, these infections can cost as much as $2.3 billion for the United States each ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They also require the use of a full size sterile drape around the insertion site. Previously, the only precautions taken when dealing with the insertion of CVCs were the use of sterile gloves and a small regional sterile drape. The maximal sterile barriers procedure is much more time consuming than the original method, so we must find how well these strict techniques work in comparison to previous techniques (Hu, Veenstra, Lipsky, Saint, 2004). If there is little or no improvement, there would seem to be no reason behind spending the extra time and money on the maximal sterile barriers. There are four criteria for comparison that should play a large role in the decision between the two techniques: infection rates, cost effectiveness, likelihood of those implementing maximal sterile barriers also using other safety precautions, and survival rate and/or mortality rate. Infection Rates The implementation of maximal sterile barriers to replace the older, more lenient techniques can significantly lower infection rates. The improved infection rates have been consistent for different age groups, just as the rate of CR BSIs are consistent for the different age groups. For example, the Neonatal intensive care unit at George Washington University Hospital tried to implement more strict sterilization techniques after discovering that their rate of CR BSIs was nearly twice the national average provided by The National Nosocomial Infection Surveillance ... Lesbian sexuality was a disorder according to the 1992 Catholic Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (Moane 442) and although they were not criminalized, it was definitely not a sign of acceptance, of course, but a negation of women s agency, . . . effectively restricting women s behaviour and desire (Weekes 123). • 17. Life Cycle of a Plant, Dominant and Recessive Traits Paragraph One: Description of the life cycle of a plant from seed to seed (information about the seed, germination, growth, development, flower, pollination, fruit, seed; information is accurate) The life cycle of a plant from seed to seed is not that complicated, it consists of a few steps. This all starts with a seed. The first step is for the seed to germinate and turn into a seedling. Once the seedling is formed, it will then grow into an adult plant with petals. These petals will then sprout to flowers, which will produce fruits. The flowers will go to a process of fertilization called pollination, that s when the pollen is moved from anthers to stigmas. Since the pollen contains sperm and it is passed on to the ovules in the ovary, the sperm moves down to an ovule, which contains eggs. Fertilization then happens when the sperm fuses with the egg in the ovule. The petals and stamens then fall away creating a fruit. These fruits contain seeds, and once the plant has died, the seeds will fall to the ground and repeat this cycle. So to summarize, the seed goes through a process called germination and forms into a seedling, which then grows roots and forms true leaves. This plant continues to grow until flowers are formed. The next step is a process called pollination and fertilization, which then forms a fruit. The fruit will release the seeds and the process repeats. Analytic Functionalism As A Philosophy Of The Mind Michael Lock Professor Davis PHIL 110000 28 April 2015 Analytic Functionalism as a Philosophy of the Mind In an attempt to bridge the gaps between the philosophy of behaviorism and the identity theory, I have determined that functionalism presents us with the best solution. Although there are several concerns to the methodic explanation of mental states, I believe that analytic functionalism is a credible model that describes the mind. Analytic functionalism establishes an ontological method that provides more acceptable ways to describe and characterize the mind. I will contend my point by first explaining the evolution into functionalism, specifically analytic functionalism. I will then explain one of the most prominent objections, the Chinese Room argument by John Searle. Beyond this argument, I will offer my rebuttals for these assertions and stipulate reasoning for analytical functionalism s rational reliability as a suitable philosophy of the mind. With the decline of behaviorism, the identity theory, or type physicalism, gained popularity within the philosophic community. J.J.C. Smart, also aiming to work reductively to shrink mental states to an uncomplicated classification, introduced the stance that identity theorists began to agree with. This was the theory that physical brain states could be simply equated with mental states. For example, the mental state of pain could be associated with the firing of the localized c fibers region of the brain. What this ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The film, starring Mel Gibson as Hamlet, and Glen Close as Queen Gertrude, takes a different look to the play. Zefferilli explores the physiological stability of Hamlet very well, especially in Act 3, Scene 4. My interpretation of that scene in the text was different to the one given in the movie. • 24. What Is The Difference Between The Harness And The Murder John Steinbeck is the author of several very successful books, one of which being The Long Valley. Steinbeck wrote about what he knew, regardless of whether or not it was appreciated by others. Not everyone was immediately enamored by his writing, as his hometown of Salinas burned his books (Curwen) when he was first beginning to write. However, as the stories gained popularity, Steinbeck was able to return to his origins and found the National Steinbeck Center. The Long Valley is made up of twelve different stories that consist of entirely different characters, but many similarities can be found throughout the different stories in addition to the differences. The Harness and The Murder are two stories that have both similarities and differences. The first story, The Harness , tells the story of a model farmer named Peter Randall, who is highly respected within the community. In the beginning of the story, Peter s wife, Emma Randall, dies, and Peter becomes predictably hysterical. However, throughout the rest of the story, the reader learns how Peter s wife had dominated her husband and made practically all of his decisions for him. The second story, The Murder , tells the story of another married couple. The main character, Jim Moore, marries a sweet foreign girl named Jelka; however, due to the communication barrier between the two, Moore begins to frequent brothels in order to communicate with other women. At the end of the story, Moore finds Jelka cheating on ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 27. The Beliefs Of Gnosticism And The Church s Response Gnosticism was one of the movements that grew out of Christianity. It would challenge the beliefs of the church in a way that would put the two at odds. This case study will discuss the beliefs of Gnosticism and the Church s response to it using research from scholarly printed text and on line resources. The term Gnosticism originates from the word gnosis, which means knowledge. It is a religious movement that became popular during the first and second centuries. The school of thought behind the Gnostic movement has not been able to be traced to its exact origin. However, some of the influences on this movement go as far back as the second and first centuries BCE. Among those influences would be the early treatises of the corpus Hermeticum and the Jewish Apocalyptic writings. The greatest source for the movement came through the Platonic philosophy and the Hebrew Scriptures (Moore). The movement is a controversial one with scholars being unable to put it in a definitive category. In one instance it is called the label for an ill defined category that is under heavy criticism (Olsen). A major problem with Gnosticism lies in the fact that there are very few absolutes where questions and answers are concerned. This makes it problematic to have a dialogue that can bring everyone into agreement on the subject. Clues can be drawn from the texts but even those prove to be both inconsistent and inconclusive. Law enforcement officers are members of society that come together in an organized fashion and enforce the law. Law enforcement officers enforce the law by deterring, punishing individuals and rehabilitating them. Law enforcement officers have been a part of our society since the beginning of our democracy. Law enforcement officers are public servants to the public to maintain peace in our society. Is this the case? In recent years, individuals have felt how law enforcement agencies treat minorities. With the on growing population of minorities in the United States, communities are becoming more diverse in police agencies. Should police agencies be a representation of the communities they serve? When individuals picture a law enforcement officer they tend to get the image of a white male officer. Individuals hardly or do not see minority, gender officers in police agencies. During this movement, artists and authors alike rebelled against the established order and classism of the time, and the values once believed in during the Age of Enlightenment (The Romantic Era ). While the people of the Age of Enlightenment valued reason, and focused on the new and original (The Enlightenment), the people of the Romantic Era focused on the emotions of the individual, nature, and the narrowed outlook of life seen through the simplicity of undereducated societies (The Nineteenth Century: Romanticism ). .A number of the literary pieces and artistic paintings from this time were based not only on the emotions of the artists, but were also shaped by the changing world around them. • 32. Cure of the Streets The poet Rainer Maria Rilke says that a work of art is good if it has sprung from necessity (Farley). Hip Hop was born on the poor and dangerous streets of the USA. Minorities such as African Americans and Hispanics dominated these streets, and they felt the need to address their long standing common issues. Therefore, a new form of art, hip hop was born, and became the method of self expression for these minorities. Lyrics have presented what they have been through. While rap has turned from a tool of self expression to a multi billion dollar industry, it has continued to constructively affect the social and economic structure of the society. While serving as a good alternative to the streets, hip hop positively uplifts the cultural barriers within the society and educates the youth. In order to better understand the necessity and the influence of hip hop, the history of how and where this music emerged is highly important. In the 1970s, Hip hop was born in the immensely impoverished, crime ridden, drug infested streets of the Bronx , which were often called America s worst slum or the epitome of urban failure (Price 4). Emmett Price III, the writer of Hip Hop Culture, says that the ostracized, marginalized, and oppressed youth started hip hop as a liberation movement , and they aimed to combat against issues of racial prejudice, cultural persecution, and social, economic, and political disparities (Price 1). • 36. Morals And Values In Everyday Use By Alice Walker Historically, values and beliefs are ascribed to people depending on their family s heritage. Most religious people are religious because they were brought up in a home that believed in a particular religion. There are some scholars that have been taught by the best schools and teachers due to their family having a grand educational background. Even though all individuals are different in their own right, a family normally holds the same beliefs and values as one another. Morals and values are traditionally passed down through generations, however, there are situations where social influences can play a role in deciding a person s principals. Family members that are influenced by society rather than their families can easily become the outliers of the bunch. In Everyday Use , Alice Walker demonstrates how social differences such as religion, education, and status between family members can cause a disconnection within the family. Dee s social change in religion causes a disconnection between the family. Walker makes it evident in the story that Mama is a Christian when she describes a feeling that she has like when I m in church and the spirit of God touches me... (499). One could assume that both Dee and Maggie were brought up as Christians along with Mama. On her visit back home, Dee tells her mother to call her Wangero instead of Dee and uses terms such as Wa su zo Tean o and Asalamalakum which signifies that she has adopted the Muslim religion. She also brings a friend along with her who has adopted the Muslim religion as well. The story portrays Mama to seem as though she has no interest in Dee s new name, and David Cowart explains this by stating She [Mama] tries to have it both ways, referring to her daughter now by one name, now by the other, now by parenthetically hybridized combinations of both (171). Mama named Dee after a family member, so when Dee changed her name to something else, a disconnection between her and the family arose. Another social difference Walker uses to illustrate a disconnection within the family is education. Mama only has second grade education due to her school burning down and never getting rebuilt. Mama explains how Maggie has a hard time reading and knows ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 41. Literary Analysis Of Home Burial By Robert Frost Terri Adams Kimbrell Logan M. Oliver ENGL 1312 24 September 2017 Home Burial Robert Frost s poem Home Burial speaks of the tragedies in a couple s life. The theme of Home Burial is centered at the death of couple s child. It seems that men did not express their feelings well during this time. Home Burial demonstrates how one life tragedy can cause another to tragedy because of emotions that are uncontrollable. The man and woman in this poem has lost their baby to due to death. The mother is grieving and it seems she doesn t recover from this loss; parents who lose a child never forget, but most people do find ways to cope and move on in life. The baby is buried in the family burial site and can be seen from a window in the couple s home. Every day the mother goes to the window looking at the family plot. Watching the place where her child s body is buried continues the sadness she feels. But, another emotion is contained in this wife and mother and that is anger and resentment at her husband. At first, the reason for her anger seems unknown. The reasoning starts to show when it says she refused him any help, with the least stiffening of her neck and silence. (lines13 14) Their dialogue is cold. What is it what? /Just that I see. / You don t, she challenged. /Tell me what it is. (lines18 19). In the husband s first couple of lines and his last one, his attitude toward his wife seems insensitive. First he tells her he wants to know why she keeps looking at through the window; then he tells her she must tell him. Even though he ends the last part with dear , doesn t make it feel any less of a demand to the wife and at the end of the poem, he ask, Where do you mean to go? First tell me that. / I ll follow and bring you back by force. I will! (115). In between his words he seems to attempt to learn how to talk with his wife, and he ask her to help him, but she has resentment in her way. It seems that the husband is stressed and anxious. The wife, on the other hand, is going through a hard time emotionally and she needs support and compassion and is not getting these needs from her husband.
