Mr. Jarvis Lorry is the embodiment of order on the outside. He wears sleek
stockings and shoes with plain, but trim buckles. Although his clothes are not of

located in the Death Valley National Park. Playa, is a dry lake bed, and rocks can
be found on the floor of the playa. It had always remained a mystery about how the
rocks slide down across the playa, while leaving trails behind them and cutting
through the sediment. Few of these rocks weigh hundreds of pounds, and scientists
wonder how they move due to their giant masses. Racetrack playais almost perfectly

The Golden Glove
I thought that everything had been a dream until I heard it... Practice! It was an
extremely rainy day and the ground was like stepping into tiny lakes. I was caught
up in the moment when I remembered that you need a glove to play baseball. I
knew that rain could ruin your glove but I couldn t get the sight of a perfectly
stitched, woven, and laced glove being destroyed.
On the long drive to practice I watched as the enormous drops of rain were impeded
by the windshield and wiped away. My teammates were in the back of the car
cracking jokes and singing to whatever was on the radio. The drive went quick and
when we arrived my mom exclaimed, Have fun at practice!

When the glove was finally dry I oiled it and tightened up the laces. My baseball
glove ended up being okay. I was delighted when my glove still fit because I thought

Not everyone dislikes dogs, i personaly love dogs. Therefore considering a dog
park should be build within apartment complex does burden taxpayers. Not only
that, those who dont like much noise arent to fond of the idea of a dog park period.
Living in the city it shouldnt be a big idea to take the animal that one cares for, for a
stroll in the park anytime. A dogpark isnt much needed like we think.
Any project done for the community, we the people pay for with our taxes just for
us to have. If the community were to build a dog park it would cost $70,000, just

Thats why most people try to live in quiet suburban areas. The communities
comfortability matters as well as the dogs, thats where pet owners has to have the
respect for those who live near by also. Yes, a dogs bark can reach a noise level of

Personality Change In Macbeth
In William Shakespeare s Macbeth , the title character undergoes a serious personality
change. At the plays beginning Macbeth is a loyal and honorable man who,
unfortunately, is immensely ambitious. As the play progresses however, Macbeth
begins to lose the honor that he held onto so dearly. Macbeths descent into dishonor
is displayed in the two most prominent murders in the first 3 acts: the slaying of
Duncan and the assassination of Banquo. When Lady Macbethis convincing her
husband to murderthe king, the reader is able to detect his hesitation to commit such
a heinous crime. Also, the remorse Macbeth feels after he murders Duncan proves
that he still possesses some of that honor and loyalty he originally held in such high
regard. However, when Macbeth has Banquo killed he has changed into a cold and
evil man. He, Macbeth, no longer clings to his honor and loyalty. In Macbeth by
William Shakespeare, Macbeth`s has a personality shift that is showcased in the
murders of King Duncan and Banquo. Macbeth is originally depicted as an honorable
and loyal man. However his ambition and his wife lead him to do things he would
never dream of without those influences. The hesitation that Macbeth shows when
thinking about murdering Duncan proves that he started out as an honorable man: I

My Favorite Game
It was around 6am and I got a call from my friend asking me the dumbest question
ever, Are you up? I got really angry and annoyed at the same time because I hate
getting woken up for some stupid reason. But then he called me to tell me that we
had a soccer game at 7:30 am. I got out my bed and said, On my way! I hung up the
phone and ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower, as soon as I got out the
bathroom I got into my room to get all of my stuff ready. I put on my socks, my
really tight shorts that I don t really enjoy wearing and my jersey with the number
17 on it. I got my stuff and gave my mom a goodbye kiss. I ran as fast as possible
and got on the 35th bus to get to the soccer field in Alianza. It wasn t my favorite
place to playat since the turf felt like carpet, but anywhere I can play soccer I m
happy. I got there at 7:20, 10 minutes before the gamewhich was enough time to

It was the quarter finals to go to semis, and we were all excited especially me since

In the story Everyday Use, Alice Walker deals with a young woman who is trying
to find her place in her own heritage. Everyday Use, is narrated by the mother or
Mama, an African American woman living in the deep South of Rural Georgia
with one of her two daughters. The family is living in very poor conditions, they
do not have fancy things, and the mother does all the work herself. The story
begins with Mama and Maggie awaiting on Dee, a college student, to arrive at
home from college. When Dee went off to college she thought that her heritage was
old and out of style, but when she came back home for a visit she insists on taking
many things from home. Dee also changed her name to Wangero, so she would not
have the same name as someone else in her family. She wants these different artifacts
of her heritage because she wants to show them off for fashion and use them for
decorations. Dee points out the things that she thinks will stand out the most, such as
the quilt, dashers, and the benches. Mama or Mrs. Johnson, does not allow Dee to
take anything but the dashers. She knows that Dee will not respectthe things that their
ancestors made. Mama and Maggie respect their heritage very much and does not
want anyone to use the artifacts in the wrong way. In the short storyEveryday Use,
Alice Walker applies the literary technique of irony to emphasize heritage as part
of one daily life. The Johnson family has many problems throughout the household.
Mrs. Johnson has a harsh and difficult life; however, her daughters does not make it
any better. Mama does not have a lot to show for, but what she does have she
appreciates and cares for it very much. The biggest problem would be that Dee
does not respect her heritage and does not want to live at home. Their home was not
that nice, there were many things wrong with it, but that is where it shows your
culture and heritage of your past. Dee left home because she did not like the way
her mama was living, she went off to college to try to better herself. Maggie, the

Once Upon a Time, many years ago their was an enchanted and truly magical place
known as The Hundred Acre Woods. You may have heard of this place before. You
may have also heard about the family that made this place their home. Although, I
am almost certain you don t know the whole story. Let me start of by saying this.
Some people think that to be a family you have to be related by blood, but I
disagree with this idea. In my opinion, a family is a group of people who have
unconditional love for each other and will always stick by one another s side, no
matter what the circumstance. The family in which I m referring to are not blood
related. I suppose some people would view them as a group of friends rather than a
family . This family consists of a bubbly bear named Winnie, a tender timid piggy
named Piglet, an organized rabbit named Rabbit, a melancholy donkey named
