Analysis Of When You Are Old By William Butler Yeats
William Butler Yeats texts have become more valued over time as they have explored difficult and
lasting concepts that relate to the human condition across time frames. The ideas include; unrequited
love, chaos and change, and death. These ideas are explored throughout his 3 poems When you are old
written in 1893, The Second Coming written in 1919 and An Irish airman foresees his death written in
1918. Yeats wrote, When you are Old when he was 28 and the poem talks about his unrequited love
for Maude Gonne. An Irish airman foresees his death was written during WW1, where death was
occurring all over. The Second Coming was written after WW1 when Yeats thought that the European
society had pretty much broken down, and his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Chaos and change are inescapable and it cannot be controlled, directed or even contained. The Second
Coming was written as a reaction to the chaos and changes due to WW1 and Ireland s movement into
the post colonial stage. The poem states Yeats political views and worries that the people who hold
power are driving the country towards mere chaos, thus revealing his desire for stability. Yeats uses a
metaphor, Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world , implying
that the world is heading towards chaos. It is also referencing political implications and the changes
that have released mere anarchy upon the world. Even though Yeats desires stability, his own cynical
mindset stops him from believing that stability is achievable as the Second Coming is occurring. The
bleak and gloomy tone of the The Second Coming demonstrates the negativity caused by the changes
and chaos possibly foreshadowing death created by the second coming. The Second Coming is a text
that has definitely become more valued over time as it challenges common ideas such as war and what
is the point of war, which many people think all the time. It is very relevant throughout humanity as it
endures commonly thought of ideas.

Investing in real estate is as advantageous and as attractive as investing in the stock market. I would
say it has three times more prospects of making money than any other business. But, But, But... since,
it is equally guided by the market forces; you cannot undermine the constant risks involved in the real
estate. Let me begin discussing with you the advantages of real estate investments. I found the
advantages as most suited and really practical.
Advantages
Real Estate Investments are Less Risky
As compared to other investments, less of misadventure is involved in a real estate property. I will not
get away from the fact that just like any investment you make; you have the risk of losing it. Real
estate investments are traditionally considered a stable and rich gainer, provided if one takes it
seriously and with full sagacity. The reasons for the real estate investments becoming less risky
adventure primarily relate to various socio economic factors, location, market behavior, the population
density of an area;

Analysis of Differnt Forms of Liberty
The concept of liberty is important to this very day. Liberty initially means to be fundamentally free
within ones society from any types of oppression, either from higher authority or from having
different form ideologies that can be political or social. Liberty is a form of power that lets one act on
their sets and values. In this paper, concept of liberty will be discussed on behalf of two philosophers,
John Locke and Jean Jacques Rousseau. Although liberty provides one to act as they please, there can
be different forms of liberty, which are developed naturally by the state of nature and socially through
development of human reasoning; state of nature is based on absolute freedom, while socially liberty
is restricted. Firstly, John ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One may destroy an individual if he takes away ones liberty where he makes him into a slave. This
compels the individual to hurt or kill that person because that individual is taking the individual
preservation, where they do not want to be controlled by any one and have their own way of life. For
one not to kill another individual that individual also has to demonstrate that he is not enforcing power
over him. For example, Locke claims, But when the actual force is over, the state of war ceases
between those that are in the society, and are equally subjected to fair determination of the law.
(Locke, 1690, p. 15). For this reason, in a civil society if the force to kill by both parties is over and
one has conducted a crime, they can be prosecuted for the crime they have done, and prevent future
occurrence of this type of event to happen again. Thus, state of war generally means state of conflict,
where if one is threaten by any way they have the right to protect themselves by any means necessary
even killing. If the conflict has stopped between either conflicting individuals or groups they have the
right to have a trail to prosecute that individual or group that was threatening their liberty and
preventing this type of conflict to take place again.
There are two different forms of liberty one is the natural liberty that is provided by nature to be free
from any type of power or authority. The second liberty is in a civil

Impact Of Mahatma Gandhi On India s Freedom Movement
Mahatma Gandhi was a civil rights leader and the leader of India s independence movement that
inspired many generations even after he passed. In India, he is known as the father of the country. His
bold and courageous effort played a major role in India s freedom fight against Great Britain. Gandhi
became the inspiration for many young people in India and his clever method of nonviolent civil
disobedience became a major weapon in their freedom struggle. Mohandas Gandhi, also known as
Mahatma, led India s independence movement in the 1930s and 40s. He always spoke very soft and
taught the lessons of truth, Non violence, and peace. He defeated the British colonists through his non
violent protests and stirring speeches.
Nonviolent resistance (NVR or nonviolent action) is the practice of achieving goals such as social
change through symbolic protests, civil disobedience, economic or political noncooperation,
satyagraha, or other methods while being nonviolent . The non violent protest led by Gandhi was used
to communicate the current issues in the country and his disagreements with the British government in
managing these issues. People from all over the world including great leaders like Martin Luther King
Jr., Nelson Mandela, Barak Obama and much more are inspired by Gandhi s belief in non violence.
This is, in essence, the principle of nonviolent cooperation. It follows therefore that it must have its
root in love. Its object should not be to punish the opponent

Designing A Life For Creating Others Experiences
Designing One s Life to Create Others Experiences
Throughout the world, the voice of Andrea Bocelli permeates the ears of millions of people in multiple
countries leaving all who hear with fond memories. Boasting of more than 80 million record sales
around the world, Bocelli s music tops classical and pop charts. Though, while Bocelli started his
singing career during his childhood, even winning a singing competition at the age of 14, his
professional singing career did not start until after a short time in another career. In 1980, after he
finished his undergraduate, he attended the University of Pisa, where he studied law. He went on to
work as a court appointed attorney for that first year after he graduated from law school. Much like
Bocelli, Sean Van Tyne noted author, speaker, and consultant on customer experience and related
topics studied a subject not related to that for which he found his passion. Van Tyne holds a BFA in
Painting and a Master s in Education, which he used to begin his career painting fine art and teaching.
He spent his days in the studio and afternoons as Artist in Residence through the Aesthetic Education
Institute. Then, when he and his wife decided to start a family, he sought another career that used
similar creative problem solving skills he loved about art. As more and more people started interacting

Essay on The Global Threat of Malicious Code
The Global Threat of Malicious Code
I. Introduction
Malicious code is Software or firmware intended to perform an unauthorized process that will have an
adverse impact on the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of an information system. 1 Today, as
ubiquitous computing is fast becoming a reality and information systems are becoming a part of
everything from mobile phones to cars, any threat to an information system represents a risk to
hardware, software, data, and the users that depend on their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

So they built a large horse and presented it to the Trojans as a gift, which the Trojans accepted. Hidden
inside the gigantic horse was a small army of Greek soldiers. During the night, the soldiers
dismounted and quickly gained control of key defenses, allowing the rest of the Greek army to invade
the previously invulnerable city of Troy. Just as in the myth, Trojan horse programs allow
unauthorized users access to a computer system. While viruses and worms usually carry a payload,
Trojan horses usually do not. Payloads are the part of the malicious code that modify, erase, or leak
information from a system. They may also alter the state of a system, by displaying a simple undesired
screen or causing programs to crash or behave abnormally. The lifecycle of viruses and worms is to
infect as many systems or files as possible, and then to execute its payload at a predetermined trigger.
The trigger may be a time or system event. Trojans, on the other hand, allow unauthorized,
anonymous access to information systems. Another type of threat that is becoming increasingly
popular is malicious code hybrids. Hybrids use a combination of virus, worm, and Trojan techniques;
virus techniques for self replication, worm techniques for rapid propagation over the Internet, and
Trojan techniques for remote system compromise. Today, hybrids represent a growing threat because
of their increasing sophistication and multiple propagation

The Kite Runner By Khaled Hosseini.published Essay
The Kite Runner is the kind of novel portraying the common issues of the lives of parents and
children. The Kite Runner is the first novel by Afghan American author Khaled Hosseini.Published by
Riverhead Books, it recounts the narratives of Amir, a young boy from the WazirAkbar Khan district
of Kabul, whose closest companion is Hassan, son of his father s servant Hazara. The story is situated
against a backdrop of turbulent and volatile events, from the fall of Afghanistan s monarchy through
the Soviet military intercession, the mass migration of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and
the rise of the Taliban regime. Mr.Hosseine attempts to draw out the distinctions that both the parents
and children are confronting in their lives through this characters in the story.
Hosseini has commented that he considers The Kite Runner to be a father son story, stressing the
familial aspects of the narrative, a component that he continued to utilize as a part of his later
works.Themes of guilt and redemption feature include conspicuously in the novel, with the essential
scene depicting an act of savagery against Hassan that Amir neglects to prevent.
The later half of the book centers on Amir s endeavours to make ammends for this transgression by
rescuing Hassan s son over two decades later. Amir s father fails to comprehend his son and his
emotions at numerous points in the story. He fails to comprehend the bond of the two children and
their genuine bond of companionship.

The Epic of Gilgamesh
The story about Gilgamesh is one of the earliest pieces of world literature dating back to the second
millennium B.C.E. This story has been evolved gradually over a long span of a millennium, and has
been enjoyed by many nations. The Epic of Gilgamesh teaches life lessons that apply to the past and
present while revolving around the question of what it means to be human, and to experience the
phenomenon of friendship, love, and death.
Notably, the thing about human life is that everyone desires friendship or to be simply not be alone. In
the story of the epic of Gilgamesh talks about how friendship changed his whole life. Gilgamesh used
to be a terrible ruler led by arrogance, and brutality of his people. He was overconsumed with power,
therefore doing whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. It seemed that Gilgamesh grew bored of
life, and had a deep hole in his heart as such something was missing from his life. One day Gilgamesh
told his mother I want a friend for my own counselor, for my own Counselor do I want a friend
(Foster 106). He needed someone to confide in as well as talk too about his plans and future.
Gilgamesh had everything in his life from riches to power, but it seemed like the thing he craved more
than success was someone to take the journey beside him. In a

Separation Of Concrete Essay
3. COMPOSITION OF CONCRETE Cement and sand ready to be mixed.
There are many types of concrete available, created by varying the proportions of the main ingredients
below.
The mix design depends on the type of structure being built, how the concrete will be mixed and
delivered, and how it will be placed to form this structure.
Cement
Portland cement is the most common type of cement in general usage. It is a basic ingredient of
concrete, mortar, and plaster. English engineer Joseph Aspdin patented Portland cement in 1824; it
was named because of its similarity in colour to Portland limestone, quarried from the English Isle of
Portland and used extensively in London architecture. It consists of a mixture of oxides of calcium,

However, it is weak in tension as the cement holding the aggregate in place can crack, allowing the
structure to fail. Reinforced concrete solves these problems by adding either meta reinforcing bars,
steel fibers, glass fiber, or plastic fiber to carry tensile loads. Chemical admixtures
Chemical admixtures are materials in the form of powder or fluids that are added to the concrete to
give it certain characteristics not obtainable with plain concrete mixes. In normal use, admixture
dosages are less than 5% by mass of cement, and are added to the concrete at the time of
batching/mixing. The most common types of admixtures are:
Accelerators speed up the hydration (hardening) of the concrete. Typical materials used are CaCl2 and
NaCl. However use of Chlorides may cause corrosion in steel reinforcing and is prohibited in some
countries.
Acrylic retarders slow the hydration of concrete, and are used in large or difficult pours where partial
setting before the pour is complete is undesirable. A typical retarder is table sugar, or sucrose

Career Development in Generation X Essay
Career Development in Generation X
Generation X refers to the population cohort following the Baby Boomers. Sources differ as to the
exact years during which this cohort was born. Coupland (1991) suggests 1960 to 1970; Bradford and
Raines (1992) propose 1965 to 1975; and Howe and Strauss (1993) suggest 1961 to 1981. Whatever
the birth years, it is their common life experiences that give this cohort an identity. Individuals born in
Generation X are reputedly more global, technologically oriented, and culturally diverse than the
generations before them. Coming of age when the linear career path no longer exists, where average

The twenty somethings of Generation X who are currently in the work force entered the labor market
with no expectations. Many of them believe the best years (in terms of society) are behind them
(Howe and Strauss 1993). They have been told that they are the only generation since the Civil War to
come of age unlikely to match their parents economic fortunes (ibid., p. 7). They place little faith in
job security. They saw their parents laid off without cause and their perceptions of the working world
were shaped in time of economic turmoil. Consequently, they tend to see every job they take as
temporary and every company as a stepping stone to something better, or at least to something else
(Filipczak 1994, p. 23). Since they have adopted the philosophy that there are no guarantees, they are
not interested in working their way up. They want to be valued immediately for their skills (Bradford
and Raines 1992). They see their career strength in their ability to solve problems and do jobs that
others are not able to do. They believe that security nowadays comes from the transferability of one s
skills to other jobs rather than from advancement in hierarchically managed organizations (Wilkinson
1995, p. 67). They use job hopping as a way to build their skills and make themselves more
marketable (Filipczak 1994, p. 27).
Although individuals in Generation X may be cynical, they do not lack drive. They

The Journal Of Antonio Pigafetta
Introduction The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future. This is a
quote by Theodore Roosevelt that speaks about a certain truth about History, the past. People tend to
think that history is of no importance, but what they don t know is that the past plays a certain role in
shaping the present and the future. When I was assigned to write a paper about the Philippine s history
during the Spanish colonization, I was determined to find a topic that greatly influenced and affected
the history of the world. A suggestion was given to me that I should write about the significant journal

Film Making Personal Statement
Film making runs within my family, which is how I was able to find my passion for it. It all began

born, my father had been a weatherman for news stations all over the country. As a kid, I remember
watching him on the television. I always looked up to my dad and admired his profession, which later
on inspired me to follow in his footsteps. When my dad moved to San Antonio, Texas, he opened up
his own production company. He was the jack of all trades. He would make commercials, television

Summary Of Amusing Ourselves To Death Postman
Humanity has far surpassed anything that was seen as impossible. However, as society progressed did
we get distracted on the way? Did we seem to lose track of the important things that mattered in our
lives? In the mid 1980s Neil Postman wrote a book called Amusing Ourselves to Death which talks
about how technology and media has reshaped our culture and he makes predictions on how it will
shape our future. The purpose of this paper is to update Postman s perspective to the present.
Throughout the last chapter of the book Postman talks about how technology has distracted us, and
how it has changed our social lives. This paper will provide information on how Postman s
perspective examples connect to society today, and how many of us are influenced by it without even

Hisham Matar presents In the Country of Men as a national allegory. This is done through metaphors,
personification, and characters relationships. His purposes for writing this novel were political. A
national allegory is any attribution of human characteristics to other animals, non living things,
material states, objects or abstract concepts, such as organizations or governments1 of a nation or its

Fredric Jameson, with ideas more suitable for the novel than Aijaz Ahmad, was first to think of

production of rock music applied to the Hardcore movement just as it appeared in the music of the 60

Rukmani and her family. Family values are a huge part of the traditional culture of the village, but
when the tannery enters the picture this all changes. As the reader sees in Rukmani s family, the appeal
of wage work it too much for many young sons to resist. As stated above, this causes many of these

The Employment Opportunities of Women in Britain in 1914...
The Employment Opportunities of Women in Britain in 1914 Woman in Britain in 1914 had several
job opportunities and from this period onwards the number of employed women began to rise
significantly. This coursework will cover the following points; the kind of work women did, the
payment they received and the working conditions under which they worked and chances of progress
for women workers. One of the main reasons for these conditions was that most of the governmental
departments were dominated by men whilst women were society s stereotypes. The other main factors
include the lack of female education on a further degree and Victorian attitudes at that time. The main
job in which women were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Working in factories was extremely difficult because the work was very monotonous. More or less
nine hundred thousand women worked in the textile Industry. The Sweated trade also engaged large
numbers of women, the figure almost climbing to a million. Most employers were unbearable in their
attitudes towards these working class women and therefore paid very low salaries. The worst fields of
the Sweated trades were the clothing and the dressmaking industries. Many worked at home and
received piece rates. They made jewellery, painted led soldiers or addressed envelopes. Only the
downtrodden and deprived women in the society who in reality were the pillar of their own family had
to work under these awful conditions. Women felt like secondary class citizens and were treated as
such. Employers took advantage of women as the women s main concern was to survive low salaries
and diabolic working conditions; advancement in career had no significance for them as their limited
poor educational background lessened their chances of progress in most domains of their work.
Clearly they took this job purely from the need to feed their families. Their lack of education and the
dominance of men in the workforce gave them little choice other than to accept these manual, simple
almost degrading types of jobs. Women could not afford to complain or create any

Let Students Listen To Music In Schools
This solution can be put into action in many ways. One way is for schools to let students listen to
music in study halls or other times throughout the day that they are allowed to work on homework.
This can cause students to be more productive and study more efficiently. A second way is that
teachers can play quiet, background music in their classrooms while students take tests. This can
create some background noise so it is not extremely silent in the class because too much silence can
sometimes be distracting to students. It will also ease some of the nerves that they may have while
taking the test. A third way to put music into schools is to use songs that help teach a certain subject
that a class may be studying. An example of this would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A final way that schools could allow music to be a bigger part of their day would be making time for
students to just listen to music and relax. This can take a large amount of the stress of a day at school
off of them and they will be able to focus and learn better by simply being more relaxed. A fourth way
is to make it a requirement for students to take some type of music class in order to graduate. If music
is required, all students will have to take it for at least a year or semester and see many of the benefits
that can come from it. If they really enjoy the class, they will probably continue to take it and keep
performing well in other subjects too. As all of these examples show, one can clearly see that music
can be introduced into schools in multiple different ways. Schools should really consider trying and
using some of these techniques in order to improve the learning environment for their students and
help them to perform at higher academic levels. If students are earning better grades, it represents
schools well and shows that they are doing a good job of teaching their

3d Printing History
Its One thing to 3D print something as advanced and cutting edge as a Jet engine motor, but it is
another to fuel it up, take it to the runway and push the start button. This is the stride GE aviation
achieved when it fired up the motor of a simple Jet engine, made completely of in house designed and
3D printed parts, at a test stand normally reserved for commercial jet engines. GE Aviation is a world
leading provider of jet and turboprop engines, components and integrated systems for commercial,
military, business and general aviation aircraft propulsion applications. GE Aviation has a global
service network to support these offerings. 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of
making three dimensional solid objects from a digital design. The creation of a 3D printed object is
achieved using additive processes. In an additive process the desired object is created by laying down
successive layers of material (usually molten alloy or plastics) until the entire object is formed. Each
of these layers can be seen as a thinly sliced horizontal cross section of the eventual object. ... Show

The best part is that the nozzles, like those used in the best selling Leap engine manufactured by GE
Aviation, were traditionally machined from 20 separate parts. Now with 3D printing, each nozzle is
one solid part, assembled by layering powdered metal melted and fused together with lasers. With 19
fuel nozzles per engine, it s a substantial difference that helps to streamline the manufacturing and
assembly process. It also cuts down on design

Walt Disney and Jet-Age City Planning Essay
Walt Disney and Jet Age City Planning
Image borrowed from Waltopia. When is a planned community too planned? Some of the exhibits
displayed at the 1939 World s Fair such as Democracity and Futurama influenced many American
community planners. The Levittown and Greenbelt projects followed the same guidelines of
community that the 1939 World s Fair introduced. These are two of the more well known Garden City
projects that took many families away from big cities and brought them to the peace and tranquility of
the suburbs. On February 2nd, 1967, Walter Elias Disney announced the plans to create a domed
community. This community would be known as the Experimental Prototype Community of
Tomorrow [EPCOT]. In this note, I will discuss how ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The look of the city and the layout of the enclosed communities looked strikingly similar to past
garden city projects.
Image borrowed from Waltopia. The similarities between Disney s dream and that of Ebenezer
Howard are striking. Howard s Garden city was designed in concentric circles with the center of all
the circles being a large garden and park that was encircled by a Crystal Palace. In EPCOT, rings that
formed the concentric layout of the city would divide the town. The outer most circle would consist of
the most modern houses of the time, and would perpetually be remodeled to incorporate the latest
technology (Waltopia.com, 1999). The middle ring would consist of a massive green belt that would
include churches, playgrounds, and schools. The innermost ring, and the most spectacular of all would
be enclosed by a dome and would provide immediate access to the center of town. The hub of the
innermost ring would be accented by an enormous and modern 30 story hotel that would act as the
center of commerce for the city, much like the Crystal Palace did for Ebenezer s Garden City. As with
most planned communities of the time such as Levittown and the Greenbelt Programs, the community
members would be selected in order to form the most ideal society as possible and isolate them from
the dangers of traditional public life. As Walt Disney

Lust In Romeo And Juliet Essay
Romeo and Juliet; a classic tale that sparks debates over what took place: a timeless romance, or a
deadly infatuation. The play is also one of Shakespeare s most renowned and praised works from his
career and has stood the test of time, which is impressive seeing as the play is over 400 years old as of
today. The play is seen as a testament to the ultimate love story that ended with the deaths of the main
characters Romeo and Juliet, but for the people who have read the play, there are many pieces of
evidence that prove that the play is actually a story of lust between two teenagers. In fact, one of the
main points that is argued over is whether true love or immaturity played the more significant role in
the events of the Tragedy of Romeo ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While their relationship could have turned into a romance, because of their actions and lack of
maturity, 6 people died because of the actions made by two immature teenagers. Romeo and Juliet,
while ending the family feuds in the end because of their death, were foolish when they spoke the
word love because they didn t know the true meaning of the word. The play was and still is a
masterpiece, but the argument that the story is about a romance is proved wrong by just reading the

Essay On Page Optimization
#3. On Page Optimization
On page optimization is probably the most technical aspect of optimizing a website. However, with
the help of a good guide and the use of effective tools (such as the Screaming Frog), the process
becomes a easy task to do. With this in mind, the on page optimization checklist is designed to easy to

Buddha vs Jesus
Christianity and Buddhism are two very prominent religions dating back from early years up until
today. Both are offshoots of other religions Christianity from Judaism, and Buddhism from Hinduism.
The Buddhists follow the teachings of Gautama Buddha, while Christianity is centered upon the life
and teachings of Jesus Christ. Christianity is monotheistic while Buddhism is nontheistic. Christians
believe that Christ is the son of God, while Buddhists do not believe in God as the creator of the
universe.
Buddhism dates back to Nepal, India in the 5th century BCE. The early followers of Buddhism were a
community of monks called the sangha. The literal meaning of Buddhism is those who follow the
teachings of Buddha. The teachings of the Buddha are often referred to as the dharma , which also
means cosmic law and order.
The ethical guidelines of Buddhism are not to murder, lie, steal, drink, or participate in unlawful
sexual behavior. Buddhists believe in the Four Noble Truths: 1) human life is full of suffering; 2)
suffering stems from cravings for pleasure and avoidance of pain; 3) suffering can be eradicated; 4)
the path of freedom from suffering is the path of enlightenment. (Julia Hardy) They also follow the
Noble Eightfold Path in order to achieve the end of suffering. The Eightfold Path consists of: 1)
Samma Ditthi Right view or understanding, 2) Samma Sankappa Right thought or attitude, 3) Samma
Vaca Right speech, 4) Samma Kammanta Right Action, 5)

researchers about one in four hundred African American is affected with Sickle Cell. Therefore it is

that there is blood clotting in the patient s eye this can result in the patient becoming blind. A leg ulcer
usually starts to show up on the patient s lower leg and /or ankle and may sometimes go untreated
because the patient may think is just a normal scratch or cut. Leg ulcers usually are the result of poor
blood circulation to that particular area. Delayed growth usually occurs in most or all patients with

everybody was free to do as they wanted. Here are two texts that show us what it was like for them
before freedom had come to them. One of the texts is ¨Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an
American Slave¨. The other one is ¨Ain t I a woman¨. The Civil war was successful by redefining how
Americans felt about freedom. The Civil War was a fight for African American freedom. They are just
like us, but because of their skin tone we took advantage of them. The Civil War was trying to put an
end to this to finally get freedom and equality for everyone in our nation. The Civil War succeeded in

Illegal Drug Use, Illegal Prostitution, and Money Laundering
The discussion of legalizing certain illegal drug like marijuana for personal use or prostitution to help
stimulate the economy is one of the worst ideas ever. It was also said that it will eliminate money

criminals from exploiting the poor and unfortunate people. This will also prevent the paid rape of all
genders, it will also detour people from becoming an addict, thus eliminating the increase of money

A similar study was also done in the United Kingdom; this study was geared to finding out what are

Chaos and change are inescapable and it cannot be controlled, directed or even contained. The Second Coming was written as a reaction to the chaos and changes due to WW1 and Ireland s movement into the post colonial stage. The poem states Yeats political views and worries that the people who hold power are driving the country towards mere chaos, thus revealing his desire for stability. Yeats uses a metaphor, Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world , implying that the world is heading towards chaos. It is also referencing political implications and the changes that have released mere anarchy upon the world. Even though Yeats desires stability, his own cynical mindset stops him from believing that stability is achievable as the Second Coming is occurring. The bleak and gloomy tone of the The Second Coming demonstrates the negativity caused by the changes and chaos possibly foreshadowing death created by the second coming. The Second Coming is a text that has definitely become more valued over time as it challenges common ideas such as war and what is the point of war, which many people think all the time. It is very relevant throughout humanity as it endures commonly thought of ideas. Death is inevitable, there is no running nor escaping it. Throughout An Irish Airman Foresees His Death , it is ... Liberty is a form of power that lets one act on their sets and values. In this paper, concept of liberty will be discussed on behalf of two philosophers, John Locke and Jean Jacques Rousseau. This compels the individual to hurt or kill that person because that individual is taking the individual preservation, where they do not want to be controlled by any one and have their own way of life. For one not to kill another individual that individual also has to demonstrate that he is not enforcing power over him. For example, Locke claims, But when the actual force is over, the state of war ceases between those that are in the society, and are equally subjected to fair determination of the law. (Locke, 1690, p. 15). For this reason, in a civil society if the force to kill by both parties is over and one has conducted a crime, they can be prosecuted for the crime they have done, and prevent future occurrence of this type of event to happen again. Thus, state of war generally means state of conflict, where if one is threaten by any way they have the right to protect themselves by any means necessary even killing. Just as in the myth, Trojan horse programs allow unauthorized users access to a computer system. While viruses and worms usually carry a payload, Trojan horses usually do not. Payloads are the part of the malicious code that modify, erase, or leak information from a system. They may also alter the state of a system, by displaying a simple undesired screen or causing programs to crash or behave abnormally. The lifecycle of viruses and worms is to infect as many systems or files as possible, and then to execute its payload at a predetermined trigger. The trigger may be a time or system event. Trojans, on the other hand, allow unauthorized, anonymous access to information systems. Another type of threat that is becoming increasingly popular is malicious code hybrids. Hybrids use a combination of virus, worm, and Trojan techniques; virus techniques for self replication, worm techniques for rapid propagation over the Internet, and Trojan techniques for remote system compromise. They saw their parents laid off without cause and their perceptions of the working world were shaped in time of economic turmoil. Consequently, they tend to see every job they take as temporary and every company as a stepping stone to something better, or at least to something else (Filipczak 1994, p. 23). They believe that security nowadays comes from the transferability of one s skills to other jobs rather than from advancement in hierarchically managed organizations (Wilkinson 1995, p. 67). The use of drugs in the music scene was at its most extreme during the Hardcore Punk movement of the 1980 s. This scene was entirely different from any that was experienced before. Drug use also held initial significance in the movement; the inherent connection between recreational drug use and the production of rock music applied to the Hardcore movement just as it appeared in the music of the 60 s. (Cashbaugh) The punks took any drug that was available to them that was cheap and hit fast and hard. Inevitably, their drug of choice became speed because, It was cheap, it was around, and you could play fast music on it. It also curtailed your appetite. In San Francisco, the Negative Trend guys literally lived on potatoes. (Marzuk) This revolutionary drug let musicians play for days upon end with no sleep and little need for basic necessities. It may have taken a toll on their bodies, however the pure, raw energy it created was something never seen before. Drug use, however, does not increase your creativity. There is no scientific evidence that shows a direct correlation between drug and alcohol use and the creative parts of your brains. To the contrary, studies have shown that I actually limits the amount your brain functions. The Employment Opportunities of Women in Britain in 1914 Woman in Britain in 1914 had several job opportunities and from this period onwards the number of employed women began to rise significantly. This coursework will cover the following points; the kind of work women did, the payment they received and the working conditions under which they worked and chances of progress for women workers. One of the main reasons for these conditions was that most of the governmental departments were dominated by men whilst women were society s stereotypes. Working in factories was extremely difficult because the work was very monotonous. More or less nine hundred thousand women worked in the textile Industry. The Sweated trade also engaged large numbers of women, the figure almost climbing to a million. Most employers were unbearable in their attitudes towards these working class women and therefore paid very low salaries. The worst fields of the Sweated trades were the clothing and the dressmaking industries. Many worked at home and received piece rates. They made jewellery, painted led soldiers or addressed envelopes. Only the downtrodden and deprived women in the society who in reality were the pillar of their own family had to work under these awful conditions. Women felt like secondary class citizens and were treated as such. Employers took advantage of women as the women s main concern was to survive low salaries and diabolic working conditions; advancement in career had no significance for them as their limited poor educational background lessened their chances of progress in most domains of their work. • 22. Let Students Listen To Music In Schools This solution can be put into action in many ways. One way is for schools to let students listen to music in study halls or other times throughout the day that they are allowed to work on homework. This can cause students to be more productive and study more efficiently. A second way is that teachers can play quiet, background music in their classrooms while students take tests. This can create some background noise so it is not extremely silent in the class because too much silence can sometimes be distracting to students. It will also ease some of the nerves that they may have while taking the test. A third way to put music into schools is to use songs that help teach a certain subject that a class may be studying. An example of this would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A final way that schools could allow music to be a bigger part of their day would be making time for students to just listen to music and relax. This can take a large amount of the stress of a day at school off of them and they will be able to focus and learn better by simply being more relaxed. A fourth way is to make it a requirement for students to take some type of music class in order to graduate. If music is required, all students will have to take it for at least a year or semester and see many of the benefits that can come from it. If they really enjoy the class, they will probably continue to take it and keep performing well in other subjects too. As all of these examples show, one can clearly see that music can be introduced into schools in multiple different ways. Schools should really consider trying and using some of these techniques in order to improve the learning environment for their students and help them to perform at higher academic levels. This is the stride GE aviation achieved when it fired up the motor of a simple Jet engine, made completely of in house designed and 3D printed parts, at a test stand normally reserved for commercial jet engines. GE Aviation is a world leading provider of jet and turboprop engines, components and integrated systems for commercial, military, business and general aviation aircraft propulsion applications. GE Aviation has a global service network to support these offerings. 3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital design. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes.
