3. Process
• I've used a wide variety of tools for this such as: transitions,
overlay, chroma key, reverse, chopping, cuts and cuts to the beat,
visual effects and auto velocity. I mostly just wanted to experiment
with the tools ii had and wanted to see what would work well and
what looks good for the tyle I'm going for and looks I want to
achieve for my fmp music video, the cuts to the beat where the
first things I chose to do first as I am familiar with it and it isn’t too
hard to do, I then decided to add auto velocity and reverse some
clips t give it more visual interest and depth after this I chose to try
out the chroma key which gave the clips a glitch like loo that I liked
and thought fitted the aesthetics of the video along with the
overlay which gives the long intro more visual interest.
4. Reflection
I will likely use everything I used in this experiment for my final music video as it captures
the look, I want to achieve all be it a little unrefined, I will use each of the tools individually
and together to show my vision for my music video as in the experiment I used all the
individually and will find a way for the final product even if it is slightly different but more
refined and cleaner with the new knowledge I have gained by doing this experiment.
6. Process
• In this one I only used some tools as I made this one a while ago
and had less knowledge on editing but had used; auto velocity,
cuts and hops to the beat and transitions. The process for this
was fairly simple as I just remembered I had some old 90s jdm
Japanese drifting footage and used it in my first properly done
edit with better transitions, visual effects and cuts.
7. Reflection
I will include everything that I used in this experiment as it was fairly basic and this
one was older than the last one which I have more knowledge on how to edit now.
Each one of the elements and to used will be put within my final music video as it
gives it that visual interest and leans into the whole look I wish to get.
