2. Blogger
With all of my media work, Blogger has been an important part of
storage and retrieval. Much like a school book, it has allowed me
to keep all of my work from this project organised and up to date
wherever I am. Before this project, I did use blogger once or twice,
but not as much as I am now. While constructing my product, I was
constantly updating my blog with storyboards, ideas, and the
progress of the project. I have learnt how to add videos, add
photos, customise my blog, and so much more. I am very happy
with the way that my blog looks at the moment.
3. Premiere Pro
For the editing of my product, I thought that I would have
to use After Effects to put my clips together, however I only
ended up using this for the sound effects and the making
of my film company name. Most of the editing was done
on Premiere Pro. Before the preliminary task, I had never
used this before, but after that and the film opening, I now
know much more, such as how to clip videos, change
volume, fade in and out, and much more.
4. After Effects
In the end, I did not use after effects for much of the project after
all. Much like Premiere Pro, I had not used this before, so I saw this
project as a good way of getting to know how to use it. In the end,
it turns out that it is of no use to me with most of my work and I did
not use it for much of the project at all.
5. For my film opening, I used my own camera, tripod
and other equipment as I have had them a while so
know how to use them, and they are slightly better
than the school’s equipment. I have however, learnt
about new shots, and how to get the best use out of
a camera (by changing settings such as stabilisation).
There were also a few bits of equipment such as a
wheel tripod that I had never before seen, and these
allowed me to get a few new shots such as a moving
shot of the male protagonist’s feet.

6. Overall
Many new technologies were explored throughout this project. My
favourite part was learning about how to edit clips together. This is
because it has allowed me to be able to create short videos easily without
a tutorial, and this will benefit me very much in the future. For my next
project, I plan to use a better camera to get higher quality shots and to
possibly use it for effects such as slow motion.
