3. Process
• I used premiere pro for this first experiment, the process
was pretty simple. First I found a logo I wanted to use, put
it into premiere pro, then created a new colour matte to
act as a background. I then duplicated the Jysk logo and
added a vertical flip and positioned one of the logos so it
was directly under the one on the top, this would make it
look like a reflection of the top logo. I also added a crop
effect and edge tether to make it look more like a
reflection. After this I applied a basic 3d effect and adjusted
the swivel of the logos, I made it so the swivel (the control
that rotates images) was different values at different points
of the video meaning premiere pro would fill in the gaps
and make the images rotate to the assigned swivel angle at
each point.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
In my final production I will probably use the tether effect on premiere
pro when making my logo, I think that adding a reflection will make the
logo look more professional and appealing. I will also probably be using
the rotate effect, I was thinking that I could implement an outro to my
podcast and have the outro screen rotate and then stop at the very end. I
will also be using a logo in the final product, a different one then what I
used in my experiment of course, ill be creating my own logo for the
podcast and will use it at the start and the end of the podcast.
6. Process
• The process of making this experiment was
pretty simple and easy, all I did was wander
around looking for cool spots to film a couple of
clips, I used my iphone for recording the clips
and premiere pro to put them together and to
edit the clips. I then chose a song I wanted to
use for it and tried to sync it with the clips.
7. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product? I will be using the
costumes displayed in the experiment in my final
product as I think it relates to the topics we will
be talking about. I will also be using the dark
tone and lighting used in the experiment for my
final product because I think it looks quite
appealing.
