This document discusses a study analyzing learning analytics data from a MOOC on mechanics in everyday life that was taken by 27 school children and 242 other participants. The study found that the school children had a 18.5% certification rate compared to 6.8% for all participants, and that certified school children tended to do more quiz trials without watching videos, suggesting they viewed it as a game. The study concluded that MOOCs could be implemented effectively in classrooms if designed with a didactic approach and shorter durations to improve completion rates.
