Classroom interaction analysis is a technique used to record and analyze verbal and nonverbal interaction between teachers and students during lessons. It can capture both quantitative and qualitative aspects of a teacher's communication behavior. Classroom interaction is divided into two parts - verbal interaction, which can be direct or indirect, and student talk or silence, and nonverbal interaction. The analysis provides a way to study how teachers and students communicate in the classroom.
