Building Relationships Is Not An Easy Task Essay
Building relationships is not an easy task to accomplish, but it is certainly a much
needed one. This is particularly true for educators and anyone working in the public
service sector. I believe that we cannot truly help a student reach her or his ultimate
potential without first knowing the story behind it all. This story, however, will not
magically unfold itself. It takes time, patience and a great deal of dedication to build
relationships. Dr. Patrick Camangian raises this point in his talk at Mills College. He
stresses the importance of these relationships in helping students who have

In life one is faced with many difficult choices, and they have to decide which one
is the right choice. The poem The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost is not supposed
to be taken literally but figuratively, in the sense that once one has made a choice
there is an inevitable sense of loss or regret.
The Road Not Taken is one of the most misunderstood poems because readers read
the poem too literally. Most readers focus on two of the last lines in the poem:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, вЂЁI took the one less traveled by (lines 18 19).
The readers take away that the traveler has traveled the path less traveled by and
that he has differed from everyone else by choosing this less traveled road. This is
why people confuse the title of the poem with The Road Less Traveled rather than
its real name The Road Not Taken . Robert Frost, in these lines, was actually saying
that in the future, when he retells this story, he will claim to have taken the road less
traveled by. The problem with this is that the readers ignore the earlier lines in the

himself that he will come back one day to travel the other, knowing he will be
unable to. In the last lines Robert Frost states that when he retells the story he will
say that he took the road less traveled by. This is where most people get confused

Who is one to say when your life ends? If you are religious then God makes that
call, but if you are not then your death is just a matter of time and waiting. When a
human being, whether a criminal or not, is put into that electric chair and strapped
away from their rights minutes before they are consciously aware that they are
about to die, that is when you know that as humans we have failed. What s even
worse is that if you are dark skinned, or your income isn t greater than or equal to
that of an NFL player or something as stupid as recklessness s on the governments

executing for all capital crimes and instead built penitentiaries to put away the
