Blood Vessels
There are three main types of blood vessels, the arteries, capillaries and veins. Blood vessels are
responsible for the blood to flow dynamically from the heart to every part of the body and then back to
a continuous cycle which takes about one minute (Tim Taylor, 2014). The size of the blood vessels
correlates with the amount of blood that passes through the vessel (Tim Taylor, 2014). The hollow
area of the blood vessel is called the lumen which can either be thin or thick depending on which
organ it flows through (Tim Taylor, 2014). A thin layer of squamous epithelium, known as

The Impact Of Freedom On Ancient Greece And Modern America
Freedom is an ambiguous term, heavily dependent on the context of time and/or place which,
therefore, means that political scientists are not blessed with a universal definition of freedom to
apply. Instead, they must deduct whether a society is free based on a combination of identifying some
general characteristics, as well as considering constraints that may arise from that society s place in
time or geographic location. Thus, the following comparison of freedom in Ancient Greece and
Modern America will consist of an identification of similar and differing characteristics of the two, as
well as an application of a historical lens that accounts for constraints. Oxford Dictionary defines
freedom as the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance... and ...the
absence of subjection to foreign domination/despotic government . This definition, along with certain
characteristics from the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights such as faith in human rights and
universal respect for and observance of all fundamental freedoms... are prime examples of general
characteristics that political scientists attempt to identify. Considering a society s place in time and
geographic location is equally important, however. For instance, in order to accurately compare
freedom in China and the United States, one must consider the differences in geographical location of

Women Should Not Have the Option of Artificial Fertilization
I don t believe that women should have the option of artificial fertilization because the
women can have emotionally harmful side effects. According to a study released by the Baird
commission in April about 2,900 women were enrolled in IVF programs n Canada in 1991
resulting in 189 births, while 3,400 used artificial insemination in fertility clinics, leading to 360
births. (Nichols 2) The fact that the success rate is that low is sad a woman could try and try to
get pregnant and go through so many treatments hoping at the same time that eventually they
could have a child but fail most of the time.
All 32 mature oocytes were injected. Seven zygotes showed normal fertilization (22%)
and one zygote showed pronuclear fertilization and 24 oocytes (75%) did not show any
sign of fertilization. Most of the embryos had poor morphology before the embryo
transfer, but there was at least one embryo available for transfer in each cycle....The forst
for IVF cycles did ot result in a pregnancy. In the fifth IVF circle two oocytes were

In the Homeric Hymn 28, Homer describes Athena as, the glorious Goddess, bright eyed, inventive,
unbending of heart, pure virgin, saviour of cities, courageous (Rayor 2014:90). In this essay I will
discuss the features of Athena that are emphasised in selected mythological tales. This will be done in
order to come to a conclusion on the nature of the Greek gods as opposed to the God of Christian
religion.

The impression that you get from a character may be really different from what you find out they
actually are at the end of the story. In the first chapter of The Pearl , Juana seemed to be a strong
maternal character. She seemed very brave and strong. However, as the story unfolded, her character
turned out to be weaker than she seemed to be at the start. Juana falls behind Kino s shadow. The
impression Juana gave in the beginning of the story was that she was brave and strong. She risked her

euchrenone a7 (2) had been isolated for the first time from the methanol extract of the wood of Morus
nigra.The structure of these compounds were determined base on spectral evidence, including UV, IR,
and NMR. The first compound also confirmed by comparison with the reported data. Cytotoxic
properties of these compounds were evaluated against murine leukemia P 388 cells. Euchrenone a7 (2)
was found more cytotoxic than norartocarpanone (1) with their IC50 7.8 and 12.7 g/mL respectively.

How Did Ashoka Spread
As a leader of his people, Ashoka used the teachings of the Buddha to create a basis of social behavior
that focused on interactions and relationships between people of the time, which helped Ashoka
become a respected leader in ancient India. Buddhism, in its origins was spread by the Buddha
himself, and it was created on a sense of self reliance and discipline that is not apparent in the
teachings of Ashoka. This isn t to say, however, that Buddha wouldn t approve of Ashoka s teachings.
Ashoka wanted to spread the ideas of Buddhism to the people of India, but he simply did not have the
