Through the entire interview process, four of the eleven participants, two males, one was in the
younger age group and the other was in the older age group, and two females, again with one
from each group, explicitly said what my research has explained: children raised by gay parents
learn to become more open towards others than children raised by straight parents. All of the
participants gave answers that aligned with my research on the kind of parenta child needs and what
a healthy household consists of. Each contributor believed that love and support, as well as a
handful of other qualities leads to a well developed child. The handful of qualities mentioned by
informants were: stable, mature, and responsible. Informants believe a parent should be someone
who is capable of caring for someone else. No one mentioned a single thing about the sexual
orientationrequired to be a good parent; society does not take sexual orientation into consideration
when describing who could be a good parent.
To contrast what I found in researching to what I found informants had to say, two interviewees
depicted gay parenting as not the norm , or not normal in today s society , both from the younger

The Pros And Cons Of The American Revolution
The American Revolution, although thought to be so, was not something that all the colonists of
America wanted to happen. The colonists fell under one of three opinions on independence: a
patriot, a loyalist, or a neutral. The patriots were completely done with Great Britain and wanted
independence. The loyalists wanted the colonies they lived in to remain a part of the glorious
British Empire. Lastly, the neutrals didn t know where they stood concerning independence, or
didn t care. Despite many arguments given by either side, patriot or loyalist, a copious amount of
colonists didn t have or want a side. The patriots and loyalists were both groups of people from
the wealthier parts of the colonies and the less prosperous colonists were usually neutrals. The
patriots and loyalists were constantly in a battle to gain more followers for their cause and
propaganda sprang up all over the colonies in the direction of the neutrals. The patriots were split
into two groups, moderate and radical, though they both wanted the same thing, independence from
Great Britain. The radical patriots waged a war between the colonies and their founder while the
moderate patriots would have rather sat down with the British and settled things verbally and
peacefully. Out of the Patriots though, more were radical than moderate, who were mostly
members of the colonies governments. Just after the French and Indian War, Great Britain was at
