The image being analyzed is a Landsat 8 OLI using literal interpretation. Many multispectral band
combinations were needed to interpret the areas of the image and they are referenced where necessary.
The Landsat 8 OLI was retrieved from the USGA Earth Explorer and courtesy of the US Geological
Survey. The date of acquisition is March 28, 2014 and the scene is path 29 row 30 (USGS). The land
cover and land use was derived from different techniques and element of image interpretation. Many
ancillary data sources were used to understand the different areas of the image. The image is the Ha il
Province of Saudi Arabia (highlighted in red, figure 2), located in the northern section of the Arabian
Peninsula (highlighted in red, figure 3). The area has many defining features that make up the scene.
There are urban areas, the major of those being Ha il the capital of Ha il Province and has a population

Definition of Wireless LAN is Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). WLAN is a wireless computer
network that connect two or more devices by using a wireless distribution method within a limited
area such as home, room, school, computer laboratory, library or office building. Besides, WLAN
gives users the ability to move around within local coverage area and yet still be connected to the
network. Most modern WLAN s based on IEEE 802.119 (extended protocols for WLAN), marketed

Before and after In Conor Grennan s the little princes a young man by the name of Conor Grennan is
bored with his typical day to day life and decides to spend his life savings on a yearlong trip around
the world. Before he begins his worldwide trip, he volunteers at an orphanage in Nepal named the
little princes mainly out of a sense of guilt rather than an actual desire to help. Expecting it to be a
short and meaningless time he soon finds himself on a long and difficult journey that will change him
in ways that he never expected. Through his time with the children of the orphanage Conor finds
himself changing in ways he did not expect as he experiences the world outside of his own country,

The Caged bird sings was written by an award winning author Maya Angelou. Maya was a civil rights
activist. This book was written in a very controversial time in the United States fighting over
segregation. Maya and her older brother Bailey are only three and four when they are sent to their
paternal grandmother after parents divorce. They would now be living with Annie Henderson, whom
they call momma in rural Stamps, Arkansas. Momma owned the only black store in the section was
the center of the town for African Americans. This helped shape Mayas view on the world, seeing all
these people congregate together in here. When Maya and Bailey turned eight their father who they
don t really know takes them to live with their mother Vivian in St Louis, Missouri. One night when

Utilitarianism is the idea that best moral path possible at all times is one that benefits the greatest
amount of people. In other words, Utilitarianism operates under the doctrine that supports the greater
good and maximizes happiness. It does not require or virtuous figure to follow, for it based purely
upon reducing human suffering. It is sometimes called consequentialism because it is based on the
idea that the best action is what produces the best consequences. They reduce suffering. you can have

The qualitative article being appraised is by Martin and Woods (2012) using the CASP tool qualitative
framework (CASP 2013). These tools have been validated to ensure that studies can be assessed in a
consistent way assessing the trustworthiness of the research article (Aveyard, 2014)
Qualitative research can often be labelled as biased and anecdotal however Anderson (2010) argues
that when carried out rigorously it can be unbiased, in depth and creditable, in fact becoming a leading
research method for evidence based nursing. White (2006) explains that when the research is based on
people s perceptions then qualitative research is appropriate, it aids in developing an understanding for
peoples understanding, feelings values and opinions. Qualitative research seeks to develop
explanations for social trends/events, thus encouraging detail and depth whilst creating openness
(Bamberger, 2000). In addition IVONNE (2004) reasons that qualitative research gives brand new
insights by providing differing ideas on current practices. On the other hand, Abawl (2008) highlights
that data collection can be very time consuming, open to interpretation and consequently influenced
by researcher bias.
CASP sets out a series of questions that can be used to critically appraise qualitative research, and help
to identify if the article contains bias, is relevant and creditable.

Mrs Midas Critical Commentary
The poem, Mrs Midas is written from the perspective of the wife of King Midas; a character from
Ovid s Metamorphoses . In the myth, King Midas was granted a wish where everything he touched
turned to gold. Mrs Midas is part of a tradition of the feminist revisionist writing of mythology and
fair tales. Duffy trivialises the myth by transplanting it to a modern, middle class, suburban setting. In
the poem, Duffy uses a wide range of literary devices and conveys a large array of emotions which
help to bring out the central themes of the poem.
In stanza one Duffy depicts a conventional, middle class domestic setting; where the speaker, Mrs
Midas is cooking vegetables and begins to unwind with a glass of wine . The quote, glass of wine
emphasises the middle class, suburban setting and highlights revisionist element of the poem. Duffy
writes stanzas one retrospectively, It was late September . Duffy uses this quote to set the scene but
more importantly to indicate the fact that the event has already happened. This conveys the idea that
the poem is being told as a story. In stanza one Duffy personifies the kitchen, with the line, its steamy
breath gently blanching the windows . The quote emphasises that the kitchen is coming to life. Also
the use of the simile, like a brow helps to convey the kitchen as a living thing. The word gently is used
