Excretion is the process by which waste products are eliminated from organisms. In plants, waste is excreted through various methods like releasing oxygen during photosynthesis, transpiration of excess water, and shedding of waste-containing leaves. Vacuoles can also store waste. In animals, the main excretory products are carbon dioxide, ammonia, urea, uric acid, guanine, and creatine. Aquatic animals excrete ammonia directly into water, while terrestrial animals convert ammonia into other nitrogenous compounds due to less water. Birds excrete uric acid paste for efficient water retention. Insects use Malpighian tubules to excrete waste into intestines and release it with f

There needs to be a balance between water ingested and water eliminated.
In order to maintain homeostatic levels of water, the body must undergo osmoregulation.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
This is a presentation by Dada Robert in a Your Skill Boost masterclass organised by the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan (EFSS) on Saturday, the 25th and Sunday, the 26th of May 2024.
He discussed the concept of quality improvement, emphasizing its applicability to various aspects of life, including personal, project, and program improvements. He defined quality as doing the right thing at the right time in the right way to achieve the best possible results and discussed the concept of the "gap" between what we know and what we do, and how this gap represents the areas we need to improve. He explained the scientific approach to quality improvement, which involves systematic performance analysis, testing and learning, and implementing change ideas. He also highlighted the importance of client focus and a team approach to quality improvement.

The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
2. INTRODUCTION
HI,I am Vasudha of
Darshan Academy and here
I am going to talk about a
very interesting topic of our
daily lives.
3.
4. • Excretion is the process by which waste products of
metabolism and other non-useful materials are eliminated
from an organism. In vertebrates this is primarily carried out
by the lungs, kidneys and skin. This is in contrast with
secretion, where the substance may have specific tasks after
leaving the cell. Excretion is an essential process in all forms of
life. In humans urine is carried out through the urethra and
that is part of the excretory system.
• In single-celled organisms, waste products are discharged
directly through the surface of the cell.
• Chemical structure of uric acid.
• In animals, the main excretory products are carbon dioxide,
ammonia (in ammoniotelics), urea (in ureotelics), uric acid (in
uricotelics), guanine (in Arachnida) and creatine.
5. • The excreted material may be called dejecta or ejecta. In
pathology the word ejecta is more commonly used.

• VACUOLE-
It can be either used for storage of
useful components or the storage of
waste substances
10. FUNCTIONS…..
• Plant produce a variety of organic and
inorganic wastes substances as by-product
during metabolism activities in a variety of
different ways.
11. TYPES OF WASTE……
• Plants use different strategies for excretion
like releasing oxygen during photosynthesis.
they also deal with carbon dioxide after the
process . Moreover, they get rid of excess
water by transpiration. They shed the waste
containing leaves. Other waste products are
stored as resins and gums, especially in old
xylem.
12.
13.
14. • In animals, the main excretory products are carbon
dioxide, ammonia (in ammoniotelics), urea (in
ureotelics), uric acid (in uricotelics), guanine (in
Arachnida) and creatine.
• Aquatic animals usually excrete ammonia directly into
the external environment, as this compound has high
solubility and there is ample water available for dilution.
In terrestrial animals ammonia-like compounds are
converted into other nitrogenous materials as there is
less water in the environment and ammonia itself is
toxic..
Animal excretion
15. • Birds excrete their nitrogenous wastes as uric acid in
the form of a paste. This is metabolically more
expensive, but allows more efficient water retention
and it can be stored more easily in the egg. Many
avian species, especially seabirds, can also excrete
salt via specialized nasal salt glands, the saline
solution leaving through nostrils in the beak. In
insects, a system involving Malpighian tubules is
utilized to excrete metabolic waste. Metabolic waste
diffuses or is actively transported into the tubule,
which transports the wastes to the intestines. The
metabolic waste is then released from the body
along with fecal matter.
