Introduction:
Purpose:
The purpose of this report is to recommend an affordable and powerful CPU for a college student
not knowledgeable in computer hardware, but wants a new PC.
Problem:
Computers are an important tool that many students use during college to accomplish tasks for
classes. Laptops are commonly used around campuses; however, they don t always prove to be
strong enough to complete all the tasks that college students would like to run. When a laptop isn t
large enough to run all the software a student would like, a desktop computer comes next in
power. A desktop computer is capable of more customization to fit the needs of a person with its
performance and visuals. Most colleges offer desktop computers that can run advanced programs,
however it is not always convenient to a college student to have to go onto campus to use this
software. This is why it is more suitable for college students to have their own desktop PC at home.
When building a pc, one needs to consider what they are going to use the PC for. For a college
student, some uses of a desktop pc could consist of gaming, video editing, and running software.
All three of these rely on each part of the computer to perform the task. One component used
heavily in all three of the tasks is the CPU (Central Processing Unit). The CPU is a piece of

San Francisco s Secret Tiled Staircase
One of my favorite locations is this staircase because you do not only get to see a fantastic view
of san francisco but you also get to admire 163 steps decorated with 2,000 handmade tiles. It took
2 and a half years until the artist, Colette Crutcher and over 300 volunteers, finally revealed the
staircase. The steps paint a picture of the sea flowing into the sky. A colorful twist of water and
sea life swirl up the steps to land with flowers, plants, birds, and frogs and ends with a beautiful

Once you arrive, you have to climb down a steep and rickety ladder. The tube has three cave
rooms and the roof of the tube has holes so sunlight can beam down into one of the rooms. If you
are wondering what a lava tube is, it is known today as something like a cave, but it used to be
called lava tube for the reasoning that it was a conduit for liquid white hot rock from the Earth s

Analysis Of Lines Composed A Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey
During the nineteenth century, both artists and writers deeply romanticized nature s natural
surroundings. This type of style emphasized the idea of nature s sympathy with humankind (Fiero,
215). In the poem Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey by British poet William
Wordsworth, he presents an emotional reflection of the redemptive power nature holds over him
(Fiero, 215). While artists and writers like Wordsworth expressed their appreciation towards nature,
British scientist Charles Darwinheld a harsher view about nature. Darwin developed the theory of
natural selectionwhich explains the survival of those creatures that are most suited to their
environment (Fiero, 211). Wordsworth s interpretation of nature may have been far more
uplifting than Darwins, but they both are keen and curious observers of nature (Fiero 212).
Wordsworth seems to be reminiscing his last visit to the Tintern Abbey. He is well aware of the
amount of the time that has passed by that he last visited, it is as though it has been a torture for
him being away so long. His vivid descriptions of the Tintern Abbey solely come from the
memory of his last visit. There is a sense of longing to be there by the way he is able to
remember the sound of the water rolling from their mountain springs or laying down under a
sycamore tree while taking in the view (Wordsworth, line 3 12). These memories he carries with
him have provided him with sensations sweet, felt in the blood, and

There is no right and wrong; everything is relative: there are no absolutes, everything is relative to

and worship service with hymns as stagnant and failing to interact with and impact the culture.

The Importance Of Chinese Culture
The country I would like to teach in would be in China, specifically Shenzhen. Chinese culture is
vast and unique and has been changed through many factors throughout history. Mainland China is
a beautiful place right next to to the equally beautiful Hong Kong. Shenzhen itself has been
influenced by western culture just like Hong Konghas, but with its roots in the mainland, it still
maintains its policies and traditions. It s culture can be considered a hybrid of both Mainland and

There are many real world lifestyle differences that can be perceived and even more that must be
experienced. When moving to China, you will first encounter surface level cultural differences,
some of which being population density and dress expectations. Population in China is vastly
different and much denser than the U.S. or most places in the world for that matter. China has
over 160 cities with a population of over 1 million as stated by the University of Missouri,
Kansas City. In China, dressing is much different as well, clothing styles that would be considered
the norm in America can be considered taboo in China. In the U.S. showing some skin is perfectly

Two texts that experiment with traditional forms of narration are Philadelphia Fire by John Edgar
Wideman and Pnin by Vladimir Nabokov. The narrator in Pnin tells Pnin s experience as a Russian
American professor, but the narration seems untrustworthy since he provides information about
Pnin that he could have only known if he was with him at the time. The narratoralso occasionally
incorporates his personal experiences in the text. On the other hand, the narrator, Cujoe, in
Philadelphia Fire attempts to tell the story of the 1985 police bombing that took place in

Since a lot of the story is his stream of consciousness the reader needs to understand the world
through Cudjoe s perspective. This narration differs from the stereotypical style and is harder to
follow because Cudjoe is constantly thinking of various events and digresses in his thoughts. For
example, Cudjoe will look out his bathroom window and he will begin to think about women he
had relationships with and then he will write about his friend Sam. The reader needs to be able to
follow along with his thought process. AT times it seems like Cudjoe is not remembering a
memory correctly, but it s all a part of his thought process. Another element that makes the story
distinctive is that this is a fictional novel writing about Cudjoe who is writing a novel. In Cudjoe s
writing process he includes interviews with the people in the town who were affected by the
bombing. Additionally, Cudjoe incorporates Shakespeare s play the Tempest while he s narrating.
The narrator makes multiple references to various works of literature that the reader might not
catch unless they are familiar with that work. While it seems the narrator isn t exclusively
discussing the bombing at all times, not writing about the story in a linear and conventional form
shows the complexity about writing about this historic

At the Skywalk, we could glance at the spectacular views from 4,000 feet above the canyon

The Little Mermaid is a fairy tale that was written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1836 and then
remade by Disney in 1989, which turned out to be a popular animated film targeted for young,
juvenile children, specifically girls. The Little Mermaid is about a fifteen year old mermaid,
named Aerial, who was willing to give up her family, voice and tail to win over a man, Prince Eric.
Watching The Little Mermaidas a kid, I loved the movie. I never seen any negatives until watching

to get his point across that African American citizens deserve equal rights to vote. In his speech he
talks about how America needs to act on the things it promised to all citizens. He says that America
is lacking dignity and they are not fighting for all to have freedom. He wants America to right
wrongs, serve men, and do justice.
First, Lyndon claims that the issue of voting rights for African Americancitizens challenges

This claim is supported when he talks about the trials African Americans have to go through to
vote; the trials being impossible. African American people would go to register to vote and be
told that the day was wrong, the time was late, or the registering officials were absent. If they did
register they would be disqualified for not spelling out their middle name or if they abbreviated a

No one wants to here the features of a product of service, those are the things that you can mention
but not promote. We don t care how shiny or great the pen is, or if it is the top of the line pen.
Those things do not provoke an emotion. The features provoke nothing.
As marketers we need to gather information, respond to information well, deliver it and how you
close it.
In order to sell something as simple as a pen you have to show those skills I listed above.
Gather information about the last time they used a pen, or if they use a pen and what kind.

1939 was one of the worst economic depressions in the world economy. The GDP per capita of
the United States fell by a third (Federico 2005). A lot of economic activities went down and so
many people suffered. Even though the depression affect the rest of the world, it has been called
the great depression of the US because it s believed that the US suffered more than any other nation

This made American banks to stop lending as a result many European countries evaded to pay
their loans. Hence most of the banks went bankrupt leading to over 9000 banks closing down
(Anari 2005).
Most of the bank deposits were not secured therefore when the banks closed down many people lost
their money. Some depositor withdrew their money from banks due to panic hence leading to such
banks running out of business. The remaining banks were not willing to lend anymore because they
were not sure of the economic situation hence they did not provide more loans this lead to fall in
consumption which consequently lead to fall in production and increase in unemployment rate.
Too many poor people.
This looks like a ridiculous reason, but it contributed to the great depression. During the 1920s
the American economy was booming, but there was income disparity and the gap between the
haves and the have not was big. Most of the wealth generated during the boom session belonged
only to a few Americans. According to Cutler (2007) 40 % of the population was living at or below
the poverty level in 1929.
Hence this people could not purchase goods and service also they could not repay the loans they
had borrowed. This lead to reduction in consumption hence many companies had reduced market
