Evaluation: Question 3 Audience Feedback
Facebook I had posted the link from YouTube on to my Facebook profile along with a note to give them a better idea of the music video and to give me constructive feedback.

Positive Feedback The target audience that I have shown the finished product to is the same person that I interviewed, Mudan. She had said “Even thought punk is not the type of music I listen to, I took  joy in watching that music video and you took my opinion of creating a narrative that I can relate to. I think it was brilliant because unlike the conventional forms of the genre you have decided to use women. That surprised me a bit” This feedback was positive because Mudan also mentioned hat she had watched the music video more than once  which is the whole purpose of promoting the band in the first place.  Mudan like most of the viewers also thought that the lip sinking was so good they thought she was sing the lyrics. They liked the different verity of shots too.
Negative Feedback Some of the viewers that sent feedback on YouTube said that the narrative was not clear and that is not how women should behave. Some complained about the influences of it on younger audiences and said stealing beer, smoking and littering along with many other things should not be established.
YouTube We have had 26 views so far on our music video this shows that YouTube is keeping track of how many times the video is watched by someone.
Conclusion  The overall conclusion to the feedback carried out throughout the project shows that artists get most of their idea developments from primarily research on target audience.  The audience/ fans make the band or artists successful and sometimes se them as star images.  Even though in our music video we challenged stereotypes of female gender roles, we gained more female audience that liked the idea of seeing women behave rebellious. However, most of them said they saw some conventional forms and conventions such as the performance scenes and narrative which they enjoyed.

  • 1. Evaluation: Question 3 Audience Feedback
  • 2. Facebook I had posted the link from YouTube on to my Facebook profile along with a note to give them a better idea of the music video and to give me constructive feedback.
  • 3. In depth feedback analysis of music video…
  • 4. Positive Feedback The target audience that I have shown the finished product to is the same person that I interviewed, Mudan. She had said “Even thought punk is not the type of music I listen to, I took joy in watching that music video and you took my opinion of creating a narrative that I can relate to. I think it was brilliant because unlike the conventional forms of the genre you have decided to use women. That surprised me a bit” This feedback was positive because Mudan also mentioned hat she had watched the music video more than once which is the whole purpose of promoting the band in the first place. Mudan like most of the viewers also thought that the lip sinking was so good they thought she was sing the lyrics. They liked the different verity of shots too.
  • 5. Negative Feedback Some of the viewers that sent feedback on YouTube said that the narrative was not clear and that is not how women should behave. Some complained about the influences of it on younger audiences and said stealing beer, smoking and littering along with many other things should not be established.
  • 6. YouTube We have had 26 views so far on our music video this shows that YouTube is keeping track of how many times the video is watched by someone.
  • 7. Conclusion The overall conclusion to the feedback carried out throughout the project shows that artists get most of their idea developments from primarily research on target audience. The audience/ fans make the band or artists successful and sometimes se them as star images. Even though in our music video we challenged stereotypes of female gender roles, we gained more female audience that liked the idea of seeing women behave rebellious. However, most of them said they saw some conventional forms and conventions such as the performance scenes and narrative which they enjoyed.
