2. • I styled my artist Emma aka Nina, partly after Lorde. I love Lordes look
and style and think her hair is amazing. I used Emma as she has curly
hair like Lordes that also looks amazing. I didn’t want Emma's to smile
in many of the picture I took of her as it suits the style of my
magazine more. The type of people that would buy my magazine
(indie scenesters and Trendies)are also the type of people who would
listen to Lorde as I know that I do, and I have some qualities similar to
the people I am aiming my magazine at. I think the way that I have
styled Emma really goes with the content and genre of my magazine,
and she is someone people will want to style themselves after, or be
like.

3. • These two pictures have both similarities and differences. I love the picture
of the girl and boy on the right and love how they are styled, but I does
look very old school so I wanted to make my models look more modern
while still having the affect that the picture has. I really like how you can
see the relationship that the boy and girl have as you can see that they are
clearly a couple. I wanted my artist to be close but not a couple which is
why I placed Emma slightly in front of Cam to show that they are close but
not that close. I also wanted to use the fact that they are both straight
faced as it looks very affective and leaves a bit of mystery. As my magazine
is aimed at Trendies and Indie Scenesters, they are the types of people who
are up for adventure and new things, also they love going to festivals as
they can discover new music, so this is how I wanted my models to look.

4. • The way I chose to represent my artist is quite different to how other magazines
would. I wanted to use quite an interesting background and for her not to have
much makeup on to show that you don’t need those things to make it look good.
For the people I am aiming my magazine at I believed that it would be more
interesting for them to see something with an interesting background like how
Loud And quiet use interesting backgrounds as the people I am aiming my
magazine at like exciting and new things and it makes it a lot more interesting
than to if I had used a plain white background. But I also used white backgrounds
in other pictures so that you could see clothing and other things in more detail.
People who tend to listen to this kind of music are people in more ‘Popular’
groups, maybe in school, collage or UNI. So the music I have chosen represents
this group in quite a big way as it is the music they live off and have gone through
most of their lives listening too. The way I write also has influence from the
audience as I am writing almost how they would talk to each other and in a tone
that they will enjoy and feel comfy with.
