Target Audience
Sarah is my character profile, she is the typical
reader and this is whyShe is into indie music and will understand the artists
and songs.
She is similar to Isabella in the way she dresses and
composes herself.
She is a simple and normal girl. She does not try to
be anything she isnt.

She is very passionate about her music.
These are the statistics for Q magazine. I want my readers to be younger than 29 and this is why
my publishing company should publish my magazine. It also shows that Q is the arbiter of taste
and contains good quality content. My magazine does the same and contains good knowledge on
bands and music. There is not one artist in my magazine that does not fit the genre of
indie/alternative and not one reader will be unable to identify an artist..
From my audience research I learned that an indie magazine must contain good
knowledge. Also using not so bright colours are a good idea. I didn’t want my colours to
turn readers away and this is why I used the colours I did. I also learned that my title is
relatable and gets straight to the point. My coverlines and some of my text shows that
the magazine is indie and this is why I like it.
